LIMITS ⫻ Jessica can only imbue a few objects at a time, up to three. She'll have to drop the imbuing on one object to apply it to a different item and the effect only persists for thirty minutes. Which means she'll have to imbue the object most likely when she uses it. The ability to extend the range of weapons only goes about twenty feet. Her abstraction only has a stronger effect against Apparitions, a powerful effect, but it doesn't do too much extra damage against other Extra-Normal beings (With the exception of the adjoined).

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Normal objects are not capable of handling the influx of Lux that well. Using it too much will cause them to bend and break a lot easier and faster than normal by striking them.

Farmer Hill, Montana.

A place few people have heard of, being a small town in the middle of nowhere. However, it couldn't have been more important. Eons ago, all the magic in the universe was used to seal a powerful God-like being known as the Glutton. This thing was an incomprehensible ball of orange light that tortured countless universes and then devoured them and has feasted to the point where it was near invincible. Its rampage was brought to an end in the universe of Glint where combined forces brought the thing down and sealed it in a mountain in a different universe. That different universe is the world where the story takes place, and that mountain was Mount Ever Reaching in Farmer Hill.

It was where the Glutton lied dormant for ages upon ages - the League of Luminscience manipulated Farmer Hill to keep the citizens away from the mountain and the existence of magic a secret. However, it all changed when the seals that kept the Glutton dormant were broken by somebody's foolishness and it was allowed to feast off of what sustained it: emotions. The Glutton's first action was attacking a campsite full of people by corrupting one powerful minion and inadvertently Awakened the people that would defeat it. It tormented this group as they tried to find a way to defeat it; ultimately knocking them into a coma for a few months.

In this few months, the Glutton turned Farmer Hill upside-down - mind-controlling countless people and turning the town into a chaotic warzone. Anyone who entered Farmer Hill was enthralled as well and in this chaos; the Glutton slaughtered any Awakened or Extra-Normal beings that it could with impunity and tortured them endlessly in its domain. However, the Awakened that was put into a coma, well, awakened from it and rebelled against it. Ultimately, they engaged in one final battle against the Glutton in the mountain and, out of desperation to escape, the Glutton broke the seals that were binding it. However, by doing this the Glutton injured itself to the point where it was eliminated and the multiverse was free from it.

However, these events were reversed as a new timeline was born from the "death" of the Glutton. A new timeline where Farmer Hill was destroyed in a catastrophic earthquake and the Awakened that the Glutton killed were resurrected. However, with the death of the Glutton, the magic was returned.

Swordfighting ⫻ Jess became pretty adept at winning fights with sword-like objects. She was thrilled to find out the real deal isn't really much different.

I'm kinda confused because, like, there's no way she can learn actual swordfighting from LARPING (though, to be faaaair a weirdo like her would probably get swordfighting classes). So did she take classes or something?

He got up and gave her a swift punch in the jaw.

Unless she's fighting the world's weakest man (or she can take a punch) this probably should have knocked her out. Trust me. I'm a martial artist myself (and I'm big af lol) and I got socked by people waaaaaaaaay smaller than me and almost got knocked out. I don't really get why she didn't just hit him in the nuts and run off or something.

Other than that she's pretty okay.

Madison's big heroic flight towards Keisha came to a stop as she went in reverse and floated over towards Izzy.

"... Okay, I don't see you offering to buy food," Madison scolded her as the girl poked at pizza. Which was on the ground. Okay, that was some Asian-chick shit right there. There wasn't a whole lot of time as Madison flew right at Keisha (whose names offends her) again... before going back in reverse and pointing at Izzy. "... Also stop poking that, weirdo."

The Griffin threw a slot machine at Sin - and Madison quickly got in between them and the slot machine collided with her as she caught the thing in thin air. Like it was nothing. She looked over her shoulder and saw Sin bitching at her. Okay, now this was already getting to a terrible start.

"... Why are you bitching at me?" Madison asked as she narrowed her eyes at the weirdo. "Does it look like I can do this?!" She shouted over all the chaos.

Then that was when the orb of light was tossed in front of Madison and she really didn't like where this was going. She nervously stared at it... before she shut her eyes in hopes that she would be shielded from the experience of staring at the sun. From ten feet away. Even with her eyes closed, she could experience the eye-searingly bright light and that awful ringing that came with it. When it faded away, Madison was defeated...

"... Thanks, Agatha," Okay, this was a good day gone, horribly, horribly, wrong. Madison was just about ready to go home. Claudette had wrapped herself in a thick sheath of darkness that protected her from the worst of the blast and Madison was suddenly jealous. On the other hand, Emily was screaming as she grabbed onto her eyes as if they were burning.

All while Babylon was laughing and figured that enough was enough. With a snap of her fingers, Babylon lifted the curse on the griffin and it returned to normal. "Thank you all for entertaining me, even for one second." She chuckled as she disappeared. "Until next time!"

Madison shook her head as she floated to the ground and deactivated the Jaws. She sighed, "... I already want to go to the beach." She glanced at Emily and the chick didn't even apologize or anything! Maybe she just thinks just because Babylon is a separate being she had no responsibility for the thing.

Emily merely sighed as she dusted herself off. "Let's get to the table." And sighed. Madison shook her head as she began to float over to the table. Which in this context was two poker tables pushed up against each other and various stools at it so they could sit at it. Madison floated over until she was over one and landed on it, while Emily quickly pulled the stool out with the back of her boot and pushed it back when she sat on it. Claudette quietly sat down on it.

"Oh, Agatha," Claudette asked. "What's on the agenda for today."

"Why are we even actin' like we aren't just going to argue about random shit then go to the beach?" Madison added with a roll of her eyes.

Babylon suddenly appeared in her flaming vestige and had a finger pointed up into the air, "How about we plunge the world into sin and degeneracy?"

"For the last time," Madison said as she sunk her head into her hands. "No."
