● Vivid Recollections: Into The World Unknown: The very start of the adventures of the world of Glint. Eons ago, the Glutton was sealed into the mountain of Farmer Hill, and it was prodded awake by something. The story begins with the various students of the illustrious Grand Ridge Academy go to a campsite near the mountain and shoot the shit. However, the guardian of Farmer Hill, John Reid, is murdered and then the Glutton finally strikes. He possesses and corrupts the town douchebag Scott Reese and makes him go on a rampage throughout the campsite. When the students finally escape, the Glutton attacks them and forces them unconscious, unintentionally Awakening them in the process.

A few months pass and Scott Reese rampage continues and everyone is coming to terms with what happened; the events of the camp massacre and their newfound abilities. However, Britney Williams assembles a "support group" with the true intention of stopping the Glutton. It doesn't go as planned, however, they receive a vision from their supreme being known as the Child. The Child informs them of the danger that the Glutton poses and inspires them to put aside their differences and finally work together. The Child leaves them with a hint: A newspaper article directing them to John Reid's farmhouse. They go there and begin to investigate, however they are attacked by an Apparition... who causes John Reid's daughter Sharon to awaken and then trap them in the farmhouse with a swarm of insects. They knock her out and when she wakes up, she tells them about the "truth" behind John Reid.

Deciding to show them; Sharon Reid takes them to Hillview High, the closed down high school that John Reid went to when he was a highschooler. She shows them the room... a room full of information on his various "targets" and threats to the town - and find out all the people John Reid has killed. A fierce confrontation takes place before Scott Reese shows up and the campers finally defeat him for good.

However, the Glutton decides to show itself and kills several members of their support group, forcing them to flee. The Glutton knocks them all into a coma and they are saved by the Child, who teleports them into the future by a few months...

● Vivid Recollections: Into The False Light: A few months after the first contact with the Glutton, the Support Group wakes up from their coma in a hospital. They defeat some corrupted, group up, and discover that they're some time in the future. After some arguments, they are taken by the Child who tells them how magic works, the destruction left behind by the Glutton, and how to defeat the being, before they leave them in Grand Ridge. The Support Group then decides to split up into two groups to look for the map of the mountain: One goes to the library and another goes to the town hall. The Library group encounters the Glutton's herald: The Speaker, who taunts and manipulates them before leaving. They find the map and then they are attacked by Wendigo apparitions, which chase them back to Grand Ridge and kills a few members of the group. However, they are scared off by the arrival of the Black Hound, who demands the two people who cheated death. They go with him willingly and then they give up their abstractions.

Meanwhile, the group that goes to the town hall are accosted by the Watchers, the Adepts in charge of the town. A brief battle ensues and the rest of the group leaves with the other key to the puzzle. They rested up and the next day they stormed the mountain; and it wasn't easy. They lost many friends in the battle and were betrayed by someone in their own group. However, the power of Ascension before they defeated the Glutton and his Speaker before the Child pulled them aside for one last vision. Where the Child revealed that everyone who was killed by the Glutton or its corrupted would be resurrected. However, people who weren't killed by the Glutton would stay dead with the chance of returning as an Apparition.

They said their goodbyes and then they were sent back to Farmer Hill... where it was revealed that the Child closed the timeline and created a new one without the Glutton's influence. The group settled what little business they had left in Farmer Hill and then went their separate ways, some going on completely new adventures.

● The Othergrounds: Various souls and other Extra-Normal beings were drawn into the Othergrounds by a mysterious force... and they discover themselves on a cruise ship and they quickly assemble and formulate a plan to leave. However, the boat is attacked by an Apparition and the same Apparition ruins their attempt to escape by destroying their lifeboat... and when they sink into the sea they end on the shores of "Paradise". They run into the Apparition which kills a member of their group before it disappears and the group takes shelter inside of a bank. They split up when two members of the group go after the Apparition that killed their friend, and the rest of the group is warped to a different part of the Othergrounds. The former group defeats the Apparition and buries their deceased friend. The latter group meets the creator of the Othergrounds; Rosalyn Black. Who explains that she Awakened... from the world ending and claims that she'll give them shelter and they'll be happier there. Only does she let them go when someone agrees to stay behind with her and everyone is sent back to their own points in time.

A new force in the supernatural world that was hastily formed after the return of magic. The Department of Extra-Normal Security (The DENS), is an underground agency that aims to keep the magical world the same way. To this end, the DENS has eyes and ears on everything looking out for the slightest sign of magical activity. Afterward, they determine if it's a threat or not or warrants their attention. The DENS understands that not all Extra-Normal beings are malicious, but they keep close tabs on any suspected or confirmed Extra-Normal Beings in the event that they do become a threat. The DENS originally went after all Extra-Normal Beings under the command of Richard Powell, but after his... untimely death and the rise of Director Dana Alcott, she has convinced the higher-ups that the Extra-Normals still have rights. It's a shaky relationship as more threats arise. The DENS technically is a branch of the Department of Homeland Security and they are clandestine operations. Which means everything they do must go under the notice of the general public. The DENS answers to the Director and the Director answers to the Pentagon. The current Director is Dana Alcott, a former officer in the Navy that had her spine broken in a terrible accident and offered a second chance after being attacked by a monster.

The DENS is comprised, at the very least, of people who are One-Eye-Open and undergo training to combat the Extra-Normal. Usually the DENS plucks out soldiers and other Law Enforcement officials, but they have a problem of being nearly comically undermanned and undertrained. The DENS has no choice but to take whoever comes their way that is at least somewhat qualified. The DENS has a handful of beings that are actually Extra-Normal, but that number is rising because the best way to handle one Extra-Normal is another. The DENS is armed with an array of special equipment... a black swat armor that is ideally resistant to most magical abilities (heat, shock, cold-resistant). As their standard issue rifle, they use a Colt M4 Carbine that can use 5.56 rounds or special taser rounds. Other than that, the DENS uses hand-me-downs from other agencies and obsolete equipment from the military.

However, in most of the DENS' field operations, they disguise themselves as Law Enforcement, or their favorite, the FBI. They appear, complete the mission, and vanish without a trace. However, a lot of the DENS' time and resources go towards suppressing information about the Extra-Normal. Any social media posts are deleted and the user is investigated, while any news reports about it are never aired. It's a shaky balance, as more and more people are beginning to catch on. It's only a matter of time until all hell breaks loose.

The Forgiven Movement is a new aged religious/charity movement that formed in late 2015. Formed by a man named Luther Saul and a few investors, the Forgiven aims to "uplift" humanity bit by bit. They claim that they worship the true form of God, known as "Mother". Saul, through his charisma and leadership, managed to make the Forgiven a nationwide movement - and aim to go further beyond that. The Forgiven seeks to be a shelter for people who are homeless, drug addicts, abuse victims and aims to give them another chance. They are seen at corners in major cities (and smaller towns), giving out food and "care packages" to the homeless and inviting them to their parties. The same parties in which they shower these people with love and affection and offer them protection from the outside world. While giving them everything they want and more.

Many people accuse the Forgiven of being a cult and they are correct. The Forgiven is a very secretive, yet dangerous cult-movement that brainwashes their masses through many different commonly known techniques such as instilling an "us vs them" mentality, love bombing, and persuading the lonely and desperate to join their cults. Many members of the Forgiven Movement are former drug addicts, runaways/homeless, and abuse victims who have been given a home but some of them are people who have just been persuaded into joining them. The Forgiven are very aggressive and predatory, but they are subtle in how they act. They don't want to draw too much attention from the outside world. Inside the cult many are given strict rules and behavior is closely monitored and people aren't allowed to tell the outside world about their practices.

The Forgiven have garnered national attention for their kind deeds and volunteering their members to assist after natural disasters (offering food and shelter to towards with destroyed homes). They accept donations from big businesses and anyone who is feeling charitable. However, inside of the Forgiven movement members are "charged" for being in the Forgiven under the guise of pooling their funds so they can help other people. Inside of the cult people worships their supreme being: Mother. Mother is God in her truest form and the one that ignited the light of life for humanity out of her bosom. They praise her in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening. However, only the top members of the Forgiven know the truth: Mother is an actual being that demands sacrifice. The top members of the Forgiven have been arranging for people to be sacrificed to this being since it's conception. They've been responsible for hundreds of people disappearing without a trace, and in return, Mother protects them from harm, rewards them with shelter, and much, much, more.

Not quite an organization, Project: Worlds Unknown is a hit webshow on Youtube (and its own site, WorldsUnknown..com). Project: Worlds Known is hosted by a girl named Kimberly Walton who found her true calling in Ghost Hunting. The show started in late 2015 and since then has gained immense following given its riveting tales, amazing special effects (it almost looks real), and charming host. Kimberly has dozens upon dozens of tales of her fighting phantasms, monsters, and other beings and has built up a captivating lore. Except its not fiction. Kimberly Walton actually is fighting these monsters that shouldn't exist and presenting it as fiction. After the defeat of the Glutton, Kimberly dedicated herself to making sure that tragedy never happens again. She goes out battling whatever monster or Apparition she can find and records it on her show. She isn't alone, she's usually accompanied by her cameraman Rowan Campbell, an Awakened that she saved from certain death. With this show, Kimberly has become a force in the magical community all while making it all look and sound fake. Kimberly has dispatched dozens of dangerous Apparitions from the shadows, but those in the know are aware of her. And she might have planted a dangerous target on her back.

. .The Glutton... a being that is so outside the lines nobody knows why it exists or where it came from. Some say it came from the void... others say it's some divine punishment for all the sins committed. But, the Glutton takes the shape of a massive bright orange sun with an incomprehensible black mass slithering underneath it. Eons ago the creature went on a rampage throughout the All-Verse, consuming all it came in contact with. Nobody knows why it consumes as the eldritch horror seemingly operates on a completely different wavelength. It's possible that the Glutton feasts on universes in order to survive. In time, it employed more brutal and sadistic tactics as it feeds on emotion - and nothing is more delicious to it than fear, hatred, and love of it. Its rampage came to an end during the final battle in the universe of Glint, it entertained the resistance force even though it could have eliminated them all. However, the Child and the Ancients came and did battle with the Glutton and eventually wounded it enough so that the Wielders of the White Light could seal it in Shimmer. Where it rested for a millennium... waiting for the right time to be freed. The Glutton was immensely powerful, even when it was sealed it was capable of powerful feats. First and foremost it could consume anything material until nothing remained. It's most dangerous ability however was its mental corruption abilities. Anyone who was exposed to the Glutton would have their minds dominated by the being if they lacked an Emotional-Field - and even then enough exposure can penetrate it. Once they were infected with the Glutton's seed, the being could affect them anyway it could. The only way to fix this was a purification ability that only a few have access to.

Its other ability was that it could give its minions powers to put them on par (sometimes above), even the strongest the extra normal beings. In addition, the Glutton could materialize pieces of itself, warp reality, send pieces of itself out as minions, among other abilities. The Glutton was immune to any conventional means of damage and only the strongest forms of Extra-normal abilities could even stagger it. It remained sealed in Shimmer until it sent forth a plan that would free it and in its arrogance, it injured itself and allowed it to be eliminated by the Awakened...

... or so they thought. The Glutton, before the demise of its main body sent out a tiny fragment of itself out into the void.

"Mother forgives you." .................................................................................................

Accepting the Power of Corruption is like a lamb being lead astray and falling down the deepest hole one can enter. One realizes that the Power of Corruption is not something that you seek, but instead, it finds you. The Power of Corruption is taking a piece of the Glutton inside of you, whether you want it or not becoming something incomprehensible, eldritch even. The Power of Corruption allows someone access to the antithesis of the Abstraction, The Condemnation. A Condemnation is an ability passed down from the Glutton to the person, which can range from monstrous strength, regeneration, claws, devouring reality, and more. These abilities Corrupt the human body and cause freakish growths, bones, and a strange orange pus that grows to manifest on the human body... however, the Glutton wants to protect the lambs it has lead astray with all of its unholy heart. All of the Corrupted can hide their horrific form and activate it when necessary.

The Glutton wants its minions to serve it and give their entire being to it... and sometimes some people don't consent to this Corruption. They don't want to serve the Glutton and be the tools of its destruction, which is why the Glutton sunders their minds and takes it over. The less willing a person is to the Glutton, the more horrific their Condemned form will become until they will no longer be able to even have access to a human form anymore. To become a Corrupted, all it takes is a Seed.. A Seed is a small fragment of the Glutton that takes the form of a glowing orange crystal with something black moving underneath it. To gain the Power of Corruption, one has to consume the Seed and gain access to a condemnation.

However, it is not that simple as the Seed is usually offered by the Glutton's herald, the Speaker. For the Glutton to gift these powers, it requires something in return... a sacrifice. Someone has to sacrifice something or some one they love or care about in order to gain a Condemnation - it can be obvious like a loved one, or something like giving up all of your memories or a piece of yourself. Consuming the seed without making a sacrifice will result in the Glutton taking over their mind and body and making them a slave.

Even without a Condemnation, a Corrupted is physically stronger, more durable and resilient, heals faser, and has far sharper senses. The Corrupted are capable of hearing their God's "whisper" in their ear which sounds like a strange black noise. They can interpret this as instructions or alerting them if something has gone horribly wrong. The Glutton, if necessary, is capable of giving its minions a little extra power boost... which will cause further mutations and degradation of humanity and free-will. Upon activating a Condemnation, all Extra-Normal beings nearly will fear their presence which translates as a strange feeling of fear and terror. A tingle pointing them in the direction of the Corrupted, and it will get worse as the Corrupted fights on and on.

. What if the world you were in was not the limit? What if existed another, separated by an invisible barrier keeping you apart? Living oblivious to the fact that, in this world, existed another you, that was different in some ways but the same in others. That each world was different and a new world could be spawned by even the slightest actions? That is the basic idea behind the All-Verse, the collection of infinite worlds. When reality was created, the dimensions followed. There is no telling how many universes there are, or what are in them, but they are vast and infinite in their potential. Some have magic, some don't, and some are strange and fantastical in their own special ways. It's impossible to describe them all as they are all special in their own ways. However, one consistent trait in the All-Verse are that most of them have some type of life in them, human or not. This causes the Counterpart Phenomenon. Every individual in each universe shares a counterpart in another universe that is a different version of them. The changes can be completely small such as a different hair color to a completely different appearance and personality - however, they retain some similarity to their counterparts. They lived peacefully in bliss in complete ignorance to one another as they were never meant to know more than the universe they lived in. However, with the sudden resurgence of magic, it is possible to interact with alternate worlds as some abilities can open portals from one world to another. They are uncommon, but not impossible, and there are some abilities that interact with other dimensions in small ways (Pulling objects from a different dimension for example).

However, it wasn't like this, as in the old timeline a being known as the Glutton went on a rampage through the All-Verse. It devoured countless worlds and almost brought reality to an end, leaving around eleven worlds. These remaining worlds were spared when the Glutton was defeated on Glint and sealed inside of a world known as Shimmer. When the old timeline was closed, the new timeline brought back these worlds and their stories. However, in between these worlds is a place known as the Void. A limitless space of unreality where such concepts such as time, entropy, and atrophy do not exist and where incomprehensible beings exist. Reality is protected from the void by barriers that keep them out and a "safety" net that keeps beings from falling into the void. It is possible for the right abilities to enter the Void... but with the horrors of the void out there? Why would you enter it?

Known Universes

Shimmer, the name given to the universe where this all takes place. Arguably the most important universe given for one simple fact: it was where the Glutton was sealed. It was sealed eons ago, and it took all the magic possible in this realm to do so. Since then the universe moved on, relatively unaffected by magic and technology advanced as it should, with that one tiny spot in the world which had the tracest amount of magic. However, the Glutton was defeated in this universe and the timeline was restarted, and magic has recently returned. With the return of magic comes all the Apparitions and magic that was dormant awoken yet again, with new threats moving in from the other universes as well.

The universe in which the League of Luminscience resides in. This universe originated the same way as our world, but there was a secret society of magical families known as the League that waged a war against the Apparitions in shadow. However, everything changed when the Glutton attacked and wiped out more than half of the universe's population with his armies. The League united with what remained of their universe from Apparitions to even beings from other worlds to engage in a final stand. Their forces were slaughtered until a massive being of light (they named their "Light-Father") battled the Glutton and eventually sacrificed his own life to weaken it. Which allowed the League to imprison the being in Shimmer. Since then the League took over the governments and eventually rule the world with an iron fist with magical beings over the Blind and covered up the Glutton's existence. Most inhabitants of Glint are members of a massive organization known as the League of Luminscience, a powerful collective of different families that rule the world of Glint. The League is a rustic organization as instead of advances in technology they did advances in magic. They all believe in the Lumunscienceas the source of their power and life and worship the Light-Bringer that saved them from the Glutton - which nearly destroyed their world ages ago. The Adepts and the League have had heavy involvement in the world of Shimmer. The world of Glint is somewhat similar to our world; however, during the Glutton's rampage it destroyed a majority of Europe so many events that shaped our world did not occur. It also means the Caucasians are in the minority while other races such as the Arabic, Asians, Africans, and so on are in the majority. They have created their language which is a mish-mash of Arabic, African, and Mandarin, but few know how to speak English.

Racism is rare if not nonexistent in the universe as what rules Glint is status. You see the League of Luminscience is a collection of families that wish to be on top of the league. Getting their children in the highest statuses and whatnot. In the past, the League was ruled by a Monarchy system that was heavy on slavery, but one man, known as King Magnanimous, eliminated the whole system and tried to create an "equal" system for the entire League. This was a massive council in which each family has a voice and the opportunity to make a change. However, one issue is that the most popular families have the loudest voices. This means the League has mostly devolved into petty squabbles and feuds instead of actual progress.

The League is fairly extreme in their methods and punishments. They are a very religious and strict nation, and the most heinous of crimes are punished by wiping out entire bloodlines. In their logic, the family is everything, and it is their fault that the crime was committing by simply not raising them right. This can include murder, rape, treason, and heresy. The League is very religious and worships the Luminscience and Lightbringer fervently enough to kill for it. However, even smaller crimes will be taken out on an entire family. The other thing about the League is that they treat anyone who doesn't have a connection to the Luminscience (AKA. The Blind) as a second-class citizen. Officially these people are not members of the League but under their "wing". They are used as functional slaves; cleaning and doing the jobs that the League doesn't want to do. They are constantly abused, raped and killed and an uprising is brewing.

The ruling government of the League is four houses that act as de facto governments: House of Candlelight (Which contains Africa and the Middle East), House of Torchlight (Which contains Asia), House of Firelight (Which contains North and South America), and House of Starlight (Which contains Europe and Russia). Each of these houses has a representative that oversees all matters and they are voted into their position, and their voice is the loudest in the council meetings. The primary military of the League is the Knights of Luminescence, a massive army of magic-wielding warriors. It consists of millions of warriors that fight to protect the League's way of life and roughly a volunteer army. Families from the bottom of the totem-pole are recruited into this huge army to gain status and money and that is the primary recruitment. Like some families, once they gain enough rank, they may have a louder voice in the meetings. Recruits start as Squires, and they can start as young as ten years old. At Squire, they are still in training and are mainly support for the actual fighting force. They are mentored by Knights and once they gain the experience they may eventually become a Knight.

If the League of Luminscience is the dominant force in Glint, who do they fight? Apparitions, beings that were deemed the sworn enemy of the League since it's conception. Ghostly beings that prey and grow stronger off belief. The Apparitions have been wreaking havoc in the League as even the slightest belief or emotion that grows out of control can create one. However, the true opponent of the League is the resistance movement known as the White Rabbit Society, which primarily consists of Apparitions but has members of the League that have rebelled and the Aberrations they oppress. They are lead by the mysterious entity is known as White Arachne, a being so fearsome and powerful to the League that nobody that has faced her has lived to tell the tale. The League changed history so that they blame White Arachne for the near extinction of humanity to keep information about the Glutton to a minimum. This caused White Arachne to be a Boogey woman of sorts and has, ironically, created more Apparitions.

The League was officially the first universe to achieve dimensional travel which they still have easy access to. However, after the Glutton's rampage and a few expeditions that went wrong, they largely stay out within Glint. The only universe they had any type of involvement in was Shimmer, as they imprisoned the Glutton inside of it and maintained the masquerade to keep it there. However, one of the League's most popular form of punishment is exiling people to other universes. After the Glutton's defeat things are beginning to change.

"The world of the Extra-Normal is the gateway to infinite possibilities." ____________________________________ . . The story centers around the Extra-Normal, an umbrella term for strange and magical beings that are derived from a mysterious magical spectrum of light known as Luminscience. These beings are either humans that have an emotional connection to light that they derive magic from, have opened their mind to the universe to gain powers, is a being formed out of belief or are a remnant of the past, or have been cursed by the other beings. Each of the Extra-Normal has abilities of some sort that are inherent to them all. Known as Extra-Normal Abilities; these beings have a wide array of abilities that come naturally to them. The first of these abilities is the power to see the unseeable or the opening of the "third eye". Anything Extra-Normal or related is completely invisible to those without it and the most basic Extra-Normal ability is the power to perceive it. They can see flames that would otherwise be invisible and monsters that shouldn't be seen. Of course, certain abilities (such as terramancery and other such manipulations of the environment) can be perceived, and some abilities are even visible regardless. Certain Extra-Normal beings have unlocked the potential for reading "Aura". They are all connected to the world on a completely different level than anyone else, and can thus, perceive through their mind. However, what exactly they can sense is dependant on their personality as aura sensing reflects the user. Such as a kind-hearted person may be able to see the Auras of people in pain or are injured, or a greedy person may be able to sense money in the vicinity.

Through this aura reading ability, the Extra-Normal beings can sense that object or person through walls and over long distances. Some Aura reading is capable of gathering specific information such as the type of Extra-Normal being and emotions - Though, some aura sensing requires activation. No one aura reading ability is the same (There are even some oddities within aura reading). Another ability inherent to the extra-normal is the ability to see into the past as if they were there known as a Recollection. Triggered by being in a certain place, encountering a relevant person or object, or being in a moment of stress, or some can even manually trigger a Recollection, an extra-normal being may receive a flashback into the past. Better known as Retrocognition, the Awakened will be a third party in this flashback and will be able to move around in a limited capacity as they watch the scene unfold. After the memory has faded, the Extra-Normal being will be thrust back into the real world with a minimal amount of time passed. Also, an Extra-Normal being may experience these moments while sleeping.

However, these all are just sub-abilities. Every true extra-normal being has an ability known as an Abstraction that is unique to them. Depending on their type it's either linked to their emotions and personality, the emotions passed down to them, belief, or an oddity among the classifications. However, there's an invisible barrier that exists between all of the Extra-Normal which protects them from being directly affected by each other's abilities. This is known as an Emotional-Field. It also lessens the blows behind each of their abilities - which means an Awakened with super strength can't one-shot everyone, a pyromancer cannot fry another one, a mind-controller cannot effectively mind controlling another. However, this depends on the ability and while a majority of abstractions are affected by the Emotional-Field certain abilities bypass it completely. It's case by case.

These abstractions are more than just powers and are linked to the very soul of a person. There are no abilities that can nullify or even interfere with an abstraction directly. However, abstractions come from emotions, thoughts, and a person's personality, and if someone is capable of negating emotions, they can disable an abstraction. This is extremely rare because there are few abilities that can do this and bypass an Emotional-Field. There's only one being who can do this consistently, and it's known as the Hound of death.

. .Those native to this universe are capable of Awakening and gaining strange and fantastical abilities. During a moment of a powerful emotion (a high-stress situation is the most common but other events such an intense moment of passion) they undergo an event known as an Awakening and gain their abstraction. These abstractions are dependant on their personality and emotion, and will always reflect them or have some type of symbolism even if it's slight. Such as a person who desires to be strong will gain a telekinetic-strength and a person with an explosive rage will be able to control fire - however, these abilities are never physical, only mental or elemental. These abilities are largely imperceptible to the Blind, but few abilities can be seen by all.

Each of the Awakened when they manifest gains a mark somewhere on their body. It is a black tattoo-like symbol known as a "Sigil", and only the Awaken can see them. However, the sigils reflect the abstraction an Awaken can get and glow a color when an abstraction is activated. Only humans are capable of Awakening because the act of Awakening requires a certain degree of intelligence. Generally, most that Awakened are ten and above because that's usually the age that most minds are capable of comprehending self and emotions to a greater degree. However, it is possible to Awaken at a younger age or even have an ability transferred to the person (that they likely will unable to fully use).

The Awakened have the same sub-abilities of the rest of the Extra-Normal beings; however, they have their own. They can transfer their abstractions to other Awakened. They can do these two ways; if they have a strong emotional bond with another Awakened they can willingly transfer it to another Awakened (or perhaps a Blind), or if they die the Abstraction can be taken by another Awakened. It's also possible for an Awakened to transfer a small fraction of their abilities to another person. Once they have the ability their sigil will appear on them. For another Awakened to use an abstraction that does not belong to them, they have to understand and channel the emotions that created said abstraction. If they don't understand the emotions they will not be able to properly use the abstraction to its fullest strength. An Awakened can have many different abstractions but may not be able to use it to its fullest strength. However, the Awakened are only capable of using one abstraction at a time. An Awakened can only share their powers with another Awakened, Counterpart, or a Blind they have an emotional connection to.

It's possible for there to be what is called a "Collective-Awakening". It's an uncommon phenomenon where multiple people Awaken around the same time in the same vicinity and they each share a piece of the same power. Each member of a collective-Awakening gain their own "primary" abstraction but each will get their piece of every member's abstraction. These mini-abstractions are considered to be separate abilities and can be transferred to other Awakened (perhaps to other members of the Collective). There are also cases where there is no "main" abstraction and all Abstractions within the Collective are evenly divided among the Collective or distributed through other means. What's unique is that they can use all these abilities at the same time as opposed to one at a time. The interesting aspect of Collective-Awakenings is that every collective has its own "mechanic" that dictates and shapes how the abstractions interact with each other. The mechanics vary from collective to collective, some collectives get more powerful abstractions when they're close to each other, one member may get a power boost each day, and in some cases, they can be forcibly combined into one person, etc. These mechanics seemingly are dictated by the relationships between the members of the Collective.

A question that may arise is what would happen if the Awakened's personality changes? That part of them that the abstraction formerly reflected is gone? It's simple: it's known as a Subsequent-Awakening, basically a change in Abstraction. If a person undergoes a great personal change and they experience the second moment of powerful emotion; their abstraction will change to represent their new self. They'll still hold onto a previous piece of their abstraction for a time, but it'll be so weak that it would be nowhere near the strength of the original. Eventually, as the person finishes their growth it'll be gone. However, there's something known as a Semi-Awakening in which a person changes enough so that the finer details of their abstractions shift - while still retaining the core abilities and possibly gain or lose new sub-abilities. They won't have a shell of their former abstraction, however. An Awakened can undergo many Awakenings as their personality changes in time, possibly an Awakened can undergo an infinite amount of Awakenings. These are called, as they happened, Second-Awakened, Third-Awakening, Fourth-Awakening, and so on as they happen. It's also possible for a Subsequent-Awakening to be a Collective one.

. . .Opposed to the Awakened who gain their abstraction in a sudden moment of emotion, the Adepts are people who gained their abilities from a spiritual connection to their ancestors. To explain, eons ago inconquerable beings known as the Ancients visited humanity and with them they granted access to magical lights. This connection passed down generations to generation and created the Adepts, people more in line with traditional mages and wizards. They access their Abstraction via the use of a tool known as a "Channeler". A channeler is an object that the Adept has a very close emotional bond to - maybe it's a childhood toy or weapon of some sort - that allows them to utilize their abstraction. Whenever an Adept uses their abstraction they call it "Casting". It's possible to Cast without a Channel however an Adept's body is not capable of handling all of that magic going through their body. It will cause nasty burns in addition to being a very unstable and unfocused casting - so it should only be used as a last resort. They are also capable of channeling through objects they have no connection but it'll be far weaker and unstable. Whenever an Adept uses their abstraction their sigil appears around their channeler. The Adepts seemingly have a connection to eleven different magic lights known as "Lux". These connections are inherited and passed down from father to son, mother to the daughter, and so on. It's unknown how this works as the Lux is seemingly a spiritual power, not a genetic one. By having a connection to a type of Lux, an Adept will gain the ability to learn magic relating to that category of Lux. Whenever one Adept has a child with an adept of a different color; that child will have a connection to both types of Lux. A child may be born capable of using every kind of Lux, but the more different kinds of Lux they are connected to, the weaker all of their abilities are. Which started the practice in the League of largely mating with people of your own Lux.

There is a way for Adepts to give this connection with the Blind. It's a technique that is reserved only for those they have a strong emotional bond with, but they can focus and pass on this connection to the Lux to them. Thus allowing them to gain an abstraction and learn how to cast. However, to use Lux and start Casting in the first place, an Adept must first discover their ability. One way for an Adept to discover their ability is to get taught how to do it from another Adept. The main way they can discover their abstraction is known as a Kindling-Event, basically a vision of the past or future. If they undergo an event in which they experience a strong emotion that corresponds with their color (Say a person with Blue lux feeling sorrow, a green Lux feeling joy, and so on) they will receive one of two visions. One of the main visions they'll receive is one of the people who passed down the connection telling them of their heritage and their abilities and how to utilize it.

This person can be anyone in their bloodline and can be more than one person talking to them, as the Lux is passed down from one person to the next like a chain. The only stipulation is that the person is always deceased, as they will be speaking to the phantasm of that person. The other, rarer and vaguer is a vision of the future (or possibly, of another version of themselves) casting and using Lux. It is possible for an Adept to have several Kindling Events long as they have moments of emotions that correspond with their Lux.

There's an opposite to Kindling Events, and it is known as a spiritual Severence. Through these Kindling Events memories are shared two ways, the ancestors also receive memories of descendants as well. If the Adept isn't behaving or using their Lux in a way that they deem "worthy", then they may be severed from the Lux. When they are severed from Lux, they will lose all access to it and will no longer be able to cast or learn spells. They'll be considered Blind. It's also possible for an Adept to sever themselves from Lux.

Unlike the Awakened, Aberrants, and the Apparitions, Adepts don't have access to one specific abstraction but a collection of different smaller abstractions best described as "Spells", all within their category. This is known as developing an Affinity, and its easier for Adepts to develop spells that reflect them as a person (Again a firey person would have an easier time using fire than water). The Spells can be a specific usage such as shooting a fireball, creating a wall, to a more generalized usage such as manipulation of water. Spells can take ages to develop depending on the person, but each person can come up with their own personal list of spells Because of this, the older Adepts are the strongest members as they've had ages to develop their catalog. While spells are personal, there are many spells that are passed down or shared among groups of people. As it's easier to learn someone else's spells than develop your own.

Sealing an Apparition inside of a Channeler is a technique that will lead to stronger casting. To gain the most of this, an Adept has to seal an Apparition inside of their channeler that corresponds with their Lux (A lust apparition being sealed inside of a Pink Adept's channeler, for example). This can be quite difficult to accomplish as there are many Apparitions inside, but sealing an Apparition that doesn't correspond will still lead to a power boost. However, this is unwise as the casting will be unstable and it will risk the Channeler being destroyed and the Apparition getting freed. The Adept also has to listen to the Apparition ramble. It is possible to Joint-Cast. Joint-Casting is when multiple people get together and place their Lux together to cast one spell. This can be multiple different Lux, however, to Joint-Cast you have to learn the spell first, or else it will be unstable. To Joint-Cast, it requires most likely an emotional connection to the other person and lots of practice.

Types of Lux

Red (Rage/Hatred): Elemental Lux, the most common type of Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is The Bull. Examples: Fire, ice, electricity, earth, plant manipulation, and similar abilities.

Green (Happiness): Biological Lux, the second most common type of Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is The Deer. Examples: Healing, shape-shifting, wing generation, etc,

Yellow (Fear/Caution): Stealth & Defensive Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is The Spider. Examples: Invisibility, barrier generation/forcefields, dumbing sound down, etc.

Pink (Love/Lust): Mental & Emotional Lux, and the fourth most common type of Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is The Dove. Examples: Emotion manipulation, mind control, telepathy, illusion creation, etc.

Gold (Pride): Summoning & Minion Creation Lux, the third rarest type of Lux - allows an Adept to create or summon a minion. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is The Lion. Examples include: Creating minions of choice, summoning a defeated monster, etc

Purple (Anticipation): Movement Lux, the third most common type of Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is The Owl. Examples include: Teleportation, Portal Creation, telekinesis, etc

Cyan (Nostalgia): Sight & Sensory Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is the Mustang. Examples include: Observing locations remotely, seeing into the past/future, enhanced vision, etc.

Orange (Courage): Infusion Lux, the ability to infuse objects and people with Extra-Normal properties. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is the Tiger. Examples: Creating a magic sword, making an object levitate, etc, etc.

Blue (Sadness): Curse-Lux, the rarest form of Lux. The ability to cast curses, but needs a stipulation to be broken - synergizes often with Black and Gold Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is the Swan. Examples: Cursing someone to turn into a monster, creating a deadly illness, cursing someone to be haunted by the dead, etc

Lavender (Hope): Purification and Strengthening Lux. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is the Butterfly. Examples: Boosting other Extra-Normal beings power, removal of curses, removing diseases, etc

Black (Apathy): Necromancery Lux, the ability to manipulate the dead. The Ancient that embodies this Lux is the Hound. Examples: Creating zombie minions, manipulating apparitions and spirits, etc

"They emerge from a world that shouldn't even exist." ................................................................................................

. .Ghosts, Phantasms, Demons, whatever you call them, they are strange beings. They are not made out of flesh and blood, but instead, they are made out of spiritual energy. Apparitions are noted for what they are spawned from; belief, emotion, or are an echo of the deceased. Any powerful belief can create an Apparition reflecting it (for example some Apparitions are religious in nature, but other abstract ideas can also spawn Apparitions) and powerful enough emotions can also create the same Apparitions (For example intense rage, lust, greed, and so on can create Apparitions). There's also a third category in which the Apparitions are created by the deceased, created by them harboring a powerful emotion before their death or somebody else feeling a strong way about them. Apparitions are fueled and powered by emotion and belief - usually the same emotions and beliefs that created them. The stronger the belief/emotion is, the more powerful the Apparition will become - but on the flip side if the emotions/belief that created them begin to wane/falter they will weaken. It can be to the point where they fade from existence entirely. Long as there is the emotion or belief in them, the Apparition will continue to exist. All Apparitions are functionally immortal because of this. They are functionally immune to attacks by the Blind, but can be damaged by Extra-Normal attacks (even so much as a mere punch). Once destroyed they'll disappear for awhile to regenerate their form and then reappear. Depending on how much emotion/belief they have; one can reappear in so much as a day while others can reappear months later.

Apparitions have abstractions of their own much like the Awakened, they reflect the emotions that create them. They can have any number of abilities from strength, to pyromancer, to cursing people - and their power reflects the belief. It's possible for an Apparition's abstraction to completely change if the belief/knowledge around them changes. It's also possible that Apparitions abstraction changes when they're bound to a human depending on the human.

Some Apparitions have existed chronologically for millions of years and are absolutely ancient. While other Apparitions come and go. There's a method to retain their form/abilities forever: by binding themselves to a human (Look at the Aberration's section for more information). By doing this they are able to exist as long as the human does and Apparitions who have no belief are able to extend their time on this planet. However, as many Apparitions are powerful, there's a technique known as "Sealing" to imprison them forever in an object. Any Extra-Normal being who knows how to do the sealing technique can seal an Apparition forever (or until the Seal is broken). Some Apparitions have no choice but to stay sealed as they've been sealed so long that the moment they'll come out they'll fade away.

Given that Apparitions are made out of the same energy that many Extra-Normal beings pool their energy from; they are completely invisible to the Blind (unless they make themselves visible). Because of this connection they can detect when other Extra-Normal beings are in the area (it's dependant on the Apparition, some can only detect them when they're close while others can do it from miles away). However, their existence is heavily dependant on the same energy and if a universe doesn't have enough power for them to exist they'll gradually go dormant. That universe was this one until the magic returned and many Apparitions that were ancient finally came back.

How to seal Apparitions

It's simple to seal an Apparition. First one needs an object to seal them inside of, something small preferably so it can be easily hidden. Then an Extra-Normal being has to draw sigils, or any symbol that they truly believe will seal the Apparition into the object. Then they must battle the Apparition, damage it enough, and get it to the sigils. Then they can activate the seal and trap the Apparition inside the object. Larger apparitions require bigger sigils to be drawn or for them to be far weaker, but all an Apparition has to do is be in the area to be sealed.

"Freak, monsters, predators, prey, Aberrations. Do not take them lightly." ................................................................................................

. .Aberrations are what are considered to be "outside the lines". Aberrations are people who have had contact with the Extra-Normal and gained either a blessing or a curse from their abilities. Almost all Abberattions are created from Blind interacting with Apparitions in one way or another but there are cases of Aberrations being created from other Extra-Normals. Unlike the other types of Extra-Normals; Animals and humans alike can become Aberrations due to their strange nature. Aberrations are considered to be extra-normal beings, so they can use all of the baseline abilities, but only the Blind can become an Aberration. Due to the odd nature of the Aberrations, they are separated into five subclasses: Afflicted - The most common type of Aberration, an Afflicted is a person that has been cursed by an Apparition or Adept one way or another. Perhaps it is in the Apparition nature to curse who it comes in contact with or they tangled with a wielder of the Blue Light, either way, they have a curse within them. It can be that they are weightless, or take the shape of an animal or some other beast, it can be more harmful like dying if they step foot in the sea or constantly being on fire - either way, the affliction sucks. There are some ways to remove the affliction, some Extra-Normal beings can remove it apart of their abilities. However, there is a point where some Afflictions cannot be removed without killing the host - that's if the curse has consumed their soul.

Affixed - Affixed are Aberrations who have been bounded to an Apparition one way or another. Maybe they encountered an Apparition on the brink of death and were convinced to take it inside of them, or maybe someone bound it to them. In any case, they have an Apparition residing inside of them that will come out at will. The Apparition has a mind of its own, so it may decide what it does and doesn't do, but depending on the relationship with their Affixed they can be convinced. The Apparition still has access to their abstraction, but their rules have changed. They are no longer powered by belief but instead the bound they have. The Apparition can use their abstraction themselves but there are some cases where they can grant the human they're affixed to powers. If the Apparition is injured enough they will return to their user and rest inside of them until they are strong enough. The bound between an affixed can be broken if both the human and the Apparition wishes to part ways, or if the bound is broken by force by an extra-normal being.

Agent - Agents are the rarest type of Aberration. When an Apparition is sealed, they are still alive and conscious and when someone touches them they may begin a link. Certain Apparitions, in a haste, were sealed inside of objects such as weapons or even an ordinary cell-phone. When someone touches the Sealed Apparition they may gain a link with the being and may convince the thing to lend them their power. The Aberration will be able to use their power like they had it themselves and will be considered an Agent of the ghostly being. This is the reason why many sealed Apparitions are hidden away never to be found, but sometimes they slip up.

Adjoined: A level beyond being a mere Affixed or Agent. An Adjoined is a physical and/or mental fusion between a human and an Apparition where the lines that were supposed to separate human and Extra-normal have been erased. For an Adjoined to be created, they must be an Affixed or an Agent that has agreed to fuse or have forcibly fused. There are various different subtypes of Adjoined due to their nature: it can be a mental fusion where the minds are combined into one body (and use the Apparition's abstraction like an abscised), a physical one where the Adjoined bodies are combined into one (where both abstractions are combined or simply use one), or primarily an alternate form that can be accessed (where the apparitions powers are accessed). There are ways to separate an Adjoined.

Abscised: The Abscised are Aberrants whose bodies have been possessed by an Apparition of some kind. Unlike Adjoined, there is no dual mind, only the Apparition having control of the body. An Abscised can be created in a variety of different ways; mainly an Apparition can possess a body of the recently deceased. Upon doing so all wounds will instantly be healed and the Apparition has full control of the body. Another way an Abscised can be created is if an Apparition fools a human into giving them their body, or if an Adjoined, Affixed, or Agent is taken over by the Apparition they are attached to. An Apparition inside of the body of a human does not have to worry about belief and can still use their abstraction much like an Awakened can. However, an Abscised is cut off from the abilities inherent to Apparitions such as being nearly impossible to kill or being invisible to the blind. However, many Abscised are varying amounts of undead, with some being functionally human and others being walking corpses. If an Abscised's body is killed they are forcibly separated from it and the Apparition is weakened.

"They live blissfully unaware of the bigger picture." ...........................................................................

. .Blind - Beings that are not quite Extra-Normal. They have no access to any of the Extra-Normal abilities listed above and are completely ordinary in the grand scheme of things. However, a Blind can achieve a higher status if they are exposed to Extra-Normal elements enough; this is known as having One-Eye-Open. This will allow them to perceive the completely imperceivable feats that Extra-Normal Beings are capable of, but offer absolutely no resistance to them. Many people that are One-Eye-Open are currently capable of Awakening. Traveler/Counterpart - There are an unknown amount of worlds alternate to this one. It can either be one, or trillions, however in each universe, somebody has a counterpart. Every person has a version of them in a different universe that they are connected to. There are some differences, of course, depending on the backstory it could be minute as having a different hair color to being a drastically different person. However, regardless of how different there are some similarities or constants. They were never meant to venture far from their home universe but they may end up a Traveler. Travelers are the terms for those who end up outside of their home universe. Most Travelers come from a completely innocuous and normal universe - why or how they ended up is up to question. Maybe they fell into the wrong portal or something went wrong. The issue is that they are no longer home, and they need to get back. Most of the time these people have no extra-normal abilities or superpowers. The only extra-normal ability they have access to is if they are in proximity to their Counterpart. They will gain a mental link with them and be able to telepathically communicate with them, share memories, and possibly see their auras through walls if they reach that point. It's possible for a Traveler to Awaken or an Adept may connect them to the Lux. Travelers are also capable of becoming Aberrations if they're at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Their power eclipses whole worlds." ........................................................................................

. . .When reality was created, eleven lights came with it. They came to be known as the Luminscience (or Lux), and when their lights first shined; eleven beings came with it. They're embodiments of these lights that inherited their near-limitless power and embody it. Originally, they were incomprehensible, eldritch, and frightening as they roamed across space. As the All-verse was forged and filled with humans, the Ancients came in contact with humans more and more. They ultimately took the form of eleven different animals for humans to be more comfortable with their presence. Each Ancient embody each Lux, and the emotions that come with it and they all operate in strange and mysterious ways. They rarely, if ever, involve themselves in the affairs of the humans, thus they are an incredibly rare sight. However, each Ancient has its own motives and role in the All-verse and they can be swayed to helping an Extra-Normal being. For a price, however, as the Ancients usually cut deals with people that they find beneficial, but it may not be beneficial in the long run (for anybody). Other than that, the Ancients keep their distance from humanity and usually only show themselves if something interests them.

In terms of raw power, the Ancients are simply God-like. In function, they are more or less Advanced-Apparitions that are powered by emotion from reality as a whole. Thus, they are insanely powerful on a level that not even Extra-Normal beings can reach. From their base abilities, the Ancients can read minds and psychically communicate with anyone, teleport anywhere in the All-verse, are insanely strong, can manipulate their current form limitlessly, can warp reality, manipulate Extra-Normal abilities to an extent, and are more or less impervious to almost all forms of damage. In addition to all of those abilities, they have their own personal abstraction like most other Extra-Normal beings. Which are powerful enough to affect and destroy universes on their own. However, the Ancients are weak against abilities that directly affect and interact with magic itself (such as attacks that do more damage against Apparitions, bypass Emotional-Fields, repel Apparitions, etc). Normally, if they're hit with an attack it won't do any damage (or they may appear damaged), but if they are attacked by one of these abilities then they won't be able to instantly regenerate it or shrug it off. It's possible for one of these abilities to kill them, but it would take one of the strongest Abstractions in the setting to be capable of killing one. If they die, they'll go into a deep rest and then regenerate.

The Ancients, back when the universe was formed were even stronger and they could use their abilities across several different dimensions at the same time. However, when the Glutton went on a rampage, their power gradually waned until they were eliminated during the final stand against the Glutton. The only survivor of this incident was the Hound, the rest of them found a place to rest for a few millenniums, and the Hound maintained order between life and death. They managed to weaken the Glutton to the point where it could be sealed away in another dimension. However, after the Glutton was defeated and the new timeline was born, the Ancients reawakened one by one to a new universe.

List of the Ancients

The Bull: The second most feared and probably the straightforward of the Ancients, the Bull takes the form of, well, a burning bull. The Bull speaks with a harrowing and monstrous growl that just bleeds anger, the Bull is created and powered by the rage of several universes - and there's a lot to be angry about. However, the Bull is mistaken as mindless or even foolish, when it is quite intelligent and perceptive and has a sense of justice. The Bull is the least likely to interact with people unless they have great rage in their hearts. The Bull serves a vital role in the glorious cycle as he destroys worlds without sentient life and rebuilds them, and paves the way for the Deer and the Dove. Physically, the Bull is the most powerful with the ability to manipulate all energy and matter and even destroy and create universes.

The Deer: The cheerful and ecstatic Ancient of Green Lux and Biology, she takes the form of a green deer covered in plant-life. However, the Deer is the one Ancient most likely to assume a human form as she feels a closer bond to the humans. The Deer is the second most important in the glorious cycle, as after the Bull creates new worlds she propagates them with life. The Deer is very maternal and motherly to the humans, as she is the one that created them after all, and she is most likely the most helpful and selfless out of the Ancients... however, she still operates off of strange logic and sometimes her brand of helping isn't helping. However, the Deer is a very rare sight, as she's more inclined to visit universes that are devoid of life and fix that. The Deer is physically the weakest of the Ancients but she is still all-powerful.

The Dove: The sensual and loving Ancient of the Pink Lux and Emotions and the Soul, the Dove takes the appearance of a bird that constantly changes from one shade of pink to the other. The Dove is the third step in the Glorious Cycle, as after the Deer creates life, the Dove comes into new universes and decides who is given sentience. Most likely, the Dove is the second most powerful of the Ancients due to her ability to grant minds to even inanimate objects... and take them away. The Dove is kind and loving, as her Lux implies, but she is ruthless and unforgiving towards those who betray love. She's more likely to get involved in the affairs of humans, as she's the one that tends to stick to them.

The Hound: The strange and mysterious Ancient of black Lux and Death, but takes the shape of a black wolf as both a form that people can comprehend. The Hound is ancient and anyone who has more than the barest experience with the Extra-Normal should know about him. The Hound is there when people die and he leads them to the other side, the Extra-Normal can comprehend him. The Hound cannot be defeated through conventional or Extra-Normal means, but he's restricted by laws that stop him from taking souls... which he can circumvent by making deals, which are known to be in his favor most of the time. When the Hound speaks he is quite sarcastic, however, despite the insurmountable power, the Hound willingly holds back to make things interesting for him. The Hound is the final step in the Glorious Cycle, which is death.

The Mustang: The all-seeing and knowledgeable Ancient of Cyan Lux and Sight, takes the shape of a transparent glowing-cyan horse (like the outlines). The Mustang's purpose in the Cycle is that he's the recordkeeper of the universe, he has the ability to see everything that goes on in the particular universe that he's in. He can see into the past like it's nothing and he preserves their memory. The Mustang's secondary purpose is that he's meant to be a watchdog, with his abstraction he's supposed to detect any intrusions and then alert the other Ancients. Because of this ability, the Mustang is quite smug, arrogant, and condescending towards mortals as he can see all. However, because of this, he is the easiest of the Ancients to fool and deceive. The Mustang is usually seen in dead or dying worlds before the Bull shows up.

The Spider: The fearsome and invincible Ancient of Yellow Lux and Protection and Stealth, usually takes the shape of a glowing yellow spider with massive legs. The Spider's ability is to weave webs that are invincible even to attacks from other Ancients and control what is visible and what isn't. The Spider's role is to protect universes and reinforce the dimensional barriers of reality and unreality to keep threats out. The Spider travels from one world to another, detecting which world's barriers are failing and requires his attention. The Spider is sporadic in how much he makes himself known to the humans, but he rarely has time to stop.

The Butterfly: The aspiring and kind Ancient of the Lavender Lux and the Strengthening and Purification, the butterfly takes the appearance of a massive glowing butterfly with everchanging colors. The Butterfly's role is the protection of the All-Verse against the various eldritch horrors that wait on the other side. Specifically, stopping any humans from attempting to harness their power and make pacts with them. The Butterfly rarely moves and just waits for an invasion or an attack from such being and battles them. The Butterfly may seem weak, but they can enhance their other abilities for a short period of time until they are the strongest among the Ancients. They can also gift other Ancients and Extra-Normal beings a bit of this power, but their most useful ability is the ability to purify curses and corruption from the other side.

The Lion: The prideful and powerful Ancient of the Golden Lux, and Summoning and Minion-Creation, takes the appearance of a golden cloudy Lion. The Lion is, like the Butterfly, responsible for the protection of the All-Verse against the threats beyond. However, the Lion is still resting and has yet to be awakened from his slumber. He's still regenerating from the battle against the Glutton, but if someone prods him he will definitely wake up. The Lion is prideful, but magnanimous to all and will gladly lend his assistance... if it lines up with his goals.

The Tiger: The courageous and powerful Ancient of the Orange Lux, and Imbuing lux, takes the form of a black and orange glowing tiger. The Tiger is probably the most important Ancient as he's the de facto leader of them and their rule keeper. The one Ancient that keeps the rest of his brethren in line and following their laws in regards to interfering in the affairs of the mortals as little as possible. In the event that one of them goes too far or breaks their laws, he will appear to punish them. The Tiger can imbue his claws with the ability to completely bypass their emotional fields and shred them to bits.

The Owl: The free and expectant Ancient of the Purple Lux and Movement, takes the form of a giant purple Owl. She has the role in the cycle of maintaining the connections between every universe and maintaining each of them. The Owl is the one that makes sure that the universes are separate like they are supposed to be. If she is inactive or injured the barriers will begin to falter and the universes will begin to bleed together and become unstable. The Owl is kind, hopeful, but constantly busy and keeps out of the affairs of the humans. Not even to make deals.

The Swan: The tearful and melancholy Ancient of the Blue Lux, and Curses, takes the appearance of a beautiful blue swan. The Swan is the one that keeps an eye out for any Extra-Normal interference in the emotional balance of the Multiverse and if she detects it, she goes to correct it. The Swan is most likely the most important of the Ancients, but she's rarely seen unless there is an imbalance due to magic. If there is none, she goes to uninhabited universes and waits. The Swan takes the sadness of the entire All-verse inside of her and uses it to power herself. The Swan is particularly the most vicious and ruthless of the Ancients when dealing with the affairs of the humans and punishes sorrow bringers severely.

Immediately, Madison broke out laughing. Probably in a way that Grace, and the rest of the occupants of the Madison-Mobile, found obnoxious. She didn't give one shit, because, with one sentence, Grace proved how green she was... Madison stopped laughing as she looked back at Grace. That's not a bad thing by all means.

"Weed, weed, Grace! Smoking weed!" Madison started, "You never smoked weed before, but don't worry, we're gonna fix that..."

Around this time Grace left and Penny walked up, and Madison was still stretching her legs. From the look that Penny gave Madison she just knew that Emily and Maya were giving her hell. Well, it was Emily and Maya put together, the two fight like cat and fuckin' dog. Madison tried hard not to crack a smile, since Penny pulled the short straw here. It wasn't long until the weird girl (Isla) came up and started begging for stuff. Madison rolled her eyes while she was talking. For someone who insisted that she stick around, she probably would make herself a bit more useful. Though, she was pretty quiet during the car ride so that was worth something.

Right when Madison was about to comment on Isla's insanity, a peculiar sight just strolled in. She heard the clopping of... a horse. A man strolled in on a big brown horse, wearing a huge ass tan cowboy hat, with brown cowboy boots (with fuckin spurs), assless chaps, and two revolver holsters at his hips. Madison just raised her eyebrow as she watched the man hop off, tie his horse to a bollard, and stroll on in.

"... Tha' fuck?" Madison asked nobody in particular before she heard some shouting inside. She was hoping that, for once, it didn't involve the Coven.

Was it dumb to start shit with Maya when she was the one offering them a ride? Probably, but maybe Emily could take this chance to switch cars while everyone was out. The Coven specialized in many things, the organization was not one of them. However, that Penny girl, who insisted that she comes along, seemed like she wasn't the only person trying to jump ship. Like hell, she was going to a better car before Emily! She walked over to Madison's car and started brownnosing... however, she couldn't help but go into the gas station. At least the smell would be a bit more pleasant than the smell of dried up ass and cum. Emily started browsing candy and other snacks and stocked up on them until she saw Grace so graciously offering to buy Claudette's water...

"Hey, let me pay, I'm in dire need of change if Miami is happening."

The doors were thrown open and walking in was a large man wearing a cowboy hat with two Smith & Wesson 500's on each hip. He wore brown leather cowboy boots with the spurs and assless chaps, as he looked to the left, and then looked to the right in a very dramatic and narrow-eyed fashion. His hands were resting over his revolvers as he walked over to the front cashier. The cowboy immediately pulled out his revolver and aimed it at the cashier as he said,

"Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye," The Cowboy said, "Unhand thy funds at once."

Before he pulled out his other revolver and aimed it at Grace and Claudette as he said, "And that goes for you, my fine oriental friend. Not one soul better move a muscle!"

Claudette immediately flinched backward when the Florida man aimed a gigantic revolver at her. She couldn't help but loudly yelp as she hit the shelf and lost her footing and fell backward. She loudly screamed as the whole shelf came crashing down.

"Well, this is interesting..." Emily saw the Florida man rob the store and she narrowed her eyes as the bastard aimed the weapon at her Coven sisters. This seemed like the perfect time to flex her new abstraction and save them! Instead, Emily started grabbing as much candy as she could and shoving it into her pockets and purse.
