Current You'd think after like 15 years I'd stop feeling like a fraud when writing posts but I still do which is both a statement on my self confidence and a compliment to how good my partners are as writers

Then wouldn’t a hamburger is actually a sandwich in disguise? Have the fast food industry fool me for 20 years long?

There's nothing in disguise about a hamburger, my dude. It's always been a sandwich.
We live in a world where two pieces of breaded chicken were the 'bread' in a bacon and cheese sandwich. Graham crackers are the 'bread' in a s'mores. This isn't some mystical concept, a sandwich is pretty clearly defined.
If your show gets parodied on iCarly then your show is not obscure.
I want to make a quick rec to everyone here and reading this thread!

Give HBO's The Wire and/or AMC's Breaking Bad a shot if you haven't already. Fantastic shows. Absolute pinnacles of television dramas.

I can't tell if you're being serious and that scares me.
I don't think a hot dog is a sandwich. I don't think anyone does. Why would you? It's like a burrito.

Hot dogs are foul anyway, who would willingly eat one?

Joey Chestnut
@SleepingSilence A hot dog is not a sandwich.

Science is on my side.

Behold a Norwegian Open Sandwich. Nothing between these at all.

Dude it's literally called a sandwich. An open sandwich is still a sandwich. This isn't some semantics thing over the word between, that's literally just the dictionary definition of a sandwich.

And for the rest of you, the sacred sandwich alignment chart that ends all debate:

The entire bottom row aren't sandwiches, nor is a hot dog or an ice cream taco.

@Lord Wraith Not unless the bun splits in two.
How big do the loaved have to get before it is no longer a Sandwich? @Fabricant451

It doesn't matter how big they are, if it's still two or more pieces of bread with food inbetween them it's a sandwich. Just because it'd be impractical and downright impossible to eat normally doesn't make it any less a sandwich.
@Fabricant451?

Assuming that that is two pieces of bread and not some weird Muppet mouth loaf then yes, that is still a sandwich.
