Because I'm very bored on this train, a brief character concept outline:

Doc Wallace

Sophia Wallace is currently the only practicing doctor and licensed undertaker in the small town of Silverwood. Among the citizens of Silverwood, both mundane and supernatural, Sophia is invariably known as "Doc" or at most "Doc Wallace". A newcomer to the town, Sophia has quickly established herself as a respected and indispensable member of the community. The timing of her arrival was most fortuitous for the townsfolk, as the previous town doctor, Mr. Francois Dumont, had perished only a few weeks prior to her arrival in a tragic and mysterious wagon accident.

Sophia's skill as a doctor are truly remarkable, and in the safety of the seedy local tavern some of the townsfolk quietly whisper that there is something supernatural about the effortless way the young woman wields her scalpel. However, following those rare times when even the good doctor is unable to cure a patient, the townsfolk take comfort in the fact that a coffin and a proper burial can be arranged for in the very same building.

A gifted necromancer, Sophia relies on the widespread, but mistaken belief that necromancers cannot command healing magic and a steady supply of legally acquired corpses to hide herself and her necromantic magic in plain sight. Despite her chosen arcane vocation, Sophia is far from evil, and simply wants to make an honest living helping others.

But I'm having issue with free time this month so just want to know what your post up frequency is?

And just to be certain, how historically correct is this going to be ie. slavery and treatment of 'Indians' and its place in America's history, or is that inferred in the 'Hard West' title? I'm not trying to stir shit, really, but I just want to set clear limitations/expectations is all.

Ones which I will surely answer one day!... That day being today. (Forgive my early morning 'i woke up eith a cold' sense of humor will ya)

Post frequency? Bring it on, i ain't a stickler. The preference would be for transparency about holdups and time frames, but I ain't about to boot someone for not posting within a few days. I suppose if I had a six shooter to my skull I'd like once a week, but again so long as folks be vocal about progress and goings-on I won't fret at things taking a minute to get done.

God knows I've got a track record of delays myself, which I will also be extremely vocal about.

As for historical correctness- I didn't click the historical tag for a reason, as I don't want historical correctness to hinder character creation or creativity. That being said, as a setting yes- natives will have the customarily bad relations with the US folks that the setting dictates, but that hostility and horribleness may be bent from time to time for the sake of fun. Basically don't be afraid of making a native character for fear of historical hostilities my dudes.
