I think Alicia is being perfectly reasonable here :V
Alicia Hayden

While it was something of a surprise, Alicia made no effort to stop Janet from stepping forward to try and argue out a compromise. They all had to follow their Vow, easy though it might be to join Natasha in launching into an angry tirade at those who seemed intent on ensuring that Beacon was not part of this arrangement by trampling over them at every opportunity they got. She did her best to keep her cool, and to listen to what had to be said.

Yet even more seemed to join in, drowning out the talk of compromise and she found herself having to speak up once again. While she had not wanted to be the sole voice to represent Beacon, if that was how it was happening then she would not shy from this task.

"I would be more willing to accept any diplomatic solutions if there were not so many claiming that they were an aggrieved party and that there were not those serving horrors, or dark magical girls, or monsters who had used the power they gained from their transformations to hurt people for their own benefit. When we all know that that is a lie," she replied firmly. "And how can we trust those to follow such an alliance or ceasefire? They will betray it at the drop of a hat if they believe it to be in their best interest. How can we expect that of a Horror, when they do not even think in the same way that humans do?"

Her gaze swept the crowd, ignoring those who seemed to have moved on to other things or who were just listening in silence. "All of us in Beacon care about preserving innocent lives. If we did not then we wouldn't be here. But it comes that more difficult when others have seen this as an opportunity to air every possible grievance against us while they have a captive audience."

With that said, she went on. "However, we are not completely opposed to compromise. If those of your kind can provide an ironclad guarantee that no Horrors, Monsters, or Dark Magical Girls will be able to act against civilians or to the general detriment of humanity without interference and adequate reprisal, those of us in Beacon would be that much more able to ensure that those of you who do not, genuinely, intend harm are no longer harassed by girls in the organization." It would be difficult, but so long as they didn't have to interact she figured those in charge would likely sign on to it.

You are right, that's exactly what happened.

Excellent. That means I probably won't have to write a spa scene. Huzzah
So just to clarify time, iirc the Festival took place on Friday and we just skipped through the weekend. Am I right in assuming that?
<Snipped quote by Flamelord>

I think Vestrix or Joyce could be fun. Both would great the enemy with cake, just that Vestrix would have a knife inside it to stab them if they get uppity.

Hah. As if Caroline would let Vestrix run around the Nexus without supervision.
@Flamelord Eh, I think Cydone'll turn out well.

For some reason it just doesn't really work for me, that's all. I could even accept interesting without being competitive, but I've got nothing at this point. And making a character solely to fill out the ranks of a team seems a bit skeevy imo.
Well at this point I think I'll be sitting out the next battle round. I haven't had any ideas for characters that I feel particularly invested in, so anything I come up with is just going to be a character for the sake of having a character. Which won't end well, from experience.
Welp, guess I have to go make new characters then. Cause I can't use any of mine.

*Sobs at the lack of ideas*
Alexander Nevsky

With all of the servants working together in conjunction with those Masters who had combat capabilities, they successfully managed to fend off the wolves. Nevsky was disappointed to see that they had not managed to get all of them as the apparent leader led a retreat, but it would be unwise to pursue when it was so late out. They didn't know if this had been the entirety of their force, and being led into an ambush in the middle of the night was not a desirable outcome, understandably.

He returned to the main group then, bringing his horse to a halt before hopping off of it next to Walgrave. "Very good my Lord," he said with a nod. "That should give those beasts some pause before they launch another assault on this village." His master had proven himself to be an effective magus, at least in handling their current level of threats. Then again that was why he was here. If they met anything that Walgrave couldn't handle, Nevsky would protect him.

Leaving the bound wolf to someone who was more qualified to deal with that than him, he instead turned towards the gate. The bells had stopped, just in time for militia to begin gathering. That was a sight he was used to, though they were dressed differently than the traditional Muscovite peasant. Understandable, and since a leader quickly emerged there was nothing to worry about.

It was him that Nevsky would address, weapon sheathed and leading along his horse. "We fought those demonic beasts and vanquished them," he explained in a confident tone. "They should not trouble you for the present." Not that they would be gone forever, but for now they had been put to flight, and that would be good enough.

@PKMNB0Y@Beloss
Hell, Tartys should be respawned by now. The OP says you only have to wait 4 posts after you died to respawn after all.

I'm just lazy :V
