Chen was somewhat surprised by her shock, it wasn't that big of a deal that Mr. Hargor had raised him. He was probably more surprised by the sudden eruption of Ice on the table. One of the spikes skewered his plate of food and the other one landed a few inches from his right hand. "Woah, you can use Ice too. It's not very often that I find anyone else with that level of elemental manipulation."

Chen then took a moment to think of a response to Eria's question. "Eh, it was pretty okay. Mr. Hargor took a pretty hands off approach to raising me, he would leave really subtle hints about stuff I should do. Like one time I woke up and the tv was gone, instead there was just a broom where it used to be. He would also leave homework and stuff for me. It was kinda like raising myself, but with a safety net."

Chen focused on the forest intently, trying to find the fleeing Fae so he could get their Legend Relic. It was powerful, the Librarian would want it. Their war would end, he would make sure of it. And the next step was this Legend Relic. And hey, if justice could be served while doing so, all the better.

Then Ruxen shook Chen, breaking his concentration with a simple nudge. "Huh? Oh. Yes, that is likely correct." Chen shook his head and stood up, stopping the mana flow to the Relic and putting it away. The sparks along his skin stopped and his eyes returned to their normal blue, like he hadn't just channeled one of the greatest powers known to man.

"We should get going. Where is Mikoto?" She needed to meet with The Librarian if she really had a Legend Relic, though he suddenly got the feeling that wasn't the case.

"I was in Mr. Hargor's class! He's really cool, he pretty much raised me for like, 9 years!" Chen smiled as he talked about Kano, he was so cool. "Oh, I don't think I caught your name. What was it?" He asked as he put his hand back down and continued to smile. He also made a note that it looked like she was focusing on something.

Chen left the training area and headed over to the cafeteria, ready to eat some food and then get his roommate. His roommate would probably be super cool, maybe it would he one of those mysterious Darkness users. Those guys sounded super cool and edgy. Probably not though, they might get roomed with each other. Was the Academy fine with boys and girls rooming with each other? All good questions, which should be answered when he wasn't staring at a random wall in the middle of the cafeteria. Chen grabbed some sushi and udon, sitting down in a random nearby table with the girl from earlier.

Chen set down his plate and smiled. It's always good to meet new people."Hello there, I saw you were sitting by yourself and figured I should change that. Sitting by yourself is pretty lonely and sucks in general. I'm Chen, Chen Hyodo, nice to meet you!" With this statement he stuck out his hand for a handshake and smiled brightly, it was like he was glowing he was so happy.

Valentine shook his head at the Bisharp's criticism. He wasn't a big fan of uptight Pokemon like that, they tended to get on his nerves real fast. A smirk appeared on Valentine's face when he saw Drogo smile though. Valentine got into position and turned his gaze back to Bisharp. "Sure, whatever. Just make sure to do your part and I'll make sure to do mine." As he finished this statement he clenched the hand holding the Shadow Ball, but not tight enough to destroy it. Just enough to condense it. This was going to be a very interesting job to say the least.

"Well, the gang is all here! Now we can all die together!" Chen smiled as he said this, teleporting away from the Falthon and to yet another tree. Suddenly a faunus came out of nowhere and shot the Falthon in the wings, attempting to pin it down. It was all for naughty though as the one who had introduced himself as Vlad tripped. The person he was carrying rolled to safety, but Vlad was quickly snatched up into the creature's jaws, never to be seen again.

"Well then, I guess that's that." Chen should probably feel sadder about this, but now was not the time for grief. Now was the time to bottle up those emotions forever and kill this horrifying atrocity. Rood called out to keep attacking, so that was what Chen would do. Rock music played in the background as the guy with the guitar played an electrifying guitar solo to shock the beast into submission. He kept teleporting through the trees, taking potshots at the Falthon's many faces and occasionally it's wings as well. If they could keep it from moving, then the battle was over.

Ryan panted a bit as he continued to fend off the Shadows. They just kept getting back up, no matter how many times they got knocked down. He looked to Tadao for guidance when a bird cried out in the distance. "Does anyone here have a bird Persona?" Knowing his luck it was probably a giant bird Shadow.

Suddenly a bright crimson flame filled the hospital ward, making the Shadows bubble. "Erec, Garula!" Ryan shot a Garula at one of them and watched it go down permanently this time. And so it began again, Ryan using Gale Slash over and over. This time they stayed down though.

Chen turned to the student who was exploding lightning and his eyes widened. He was about to say something to Kano, but then he exploded into action. Slowly absorbing the lightning, getting the student to a small spark here and there, then nothing finally. "Wow Mr. Hargor, that was pretty-" Chen's sentence was interrupted when the world exploded.

Chen rubbed his eyes as his ears rung, his vision had gone white and he was probably tearing up a little. His vision returned but his ears were still ringing. Kano was talking to the boy, probably telling him to rest. Then he began talking to a girl about something, the ringing in his ears was beginning to go away. He could hear things again. Finally Kano turned to Chen.

"I find my generosity to those I care for has been taken advantage of today. Chen, my boy, do you think so poorly of me that you believe yourself above my request to be on time on the first day. Of course you don't. Fear not, you are the third to be late today but at least you bothered to show up."

"No Mr. Hargor, I would never think something like that!" Chen waved his hands in front of him in a panicked fashion, Chen respected Kano so much.

"For now, it will be standard control. You can't use water but you can still feel it. Without learning your base element I fear you may not gain the mastery I desire to instill in you. That being said, strip to your underwear and get in the pool. Try to calm the waters in your own way..."

"Huh?" Chen had been ordered to strip to his underwear and get in the pool with the other guy. He blushed and began taking off his pants.

"Actually, no. You'll probably just freeze the water with Luke in it and cause me more trouble. Keep your pants on and see if you can do something for the boys over there. I know you can use ice so lets see how far you can go with your powers. I want you to work on the creation aspect. I want to see a detailed house made of ice by the end of our session here. Without using the pool behind us."

Chen let out a small breath of relief and buckled his pants back up. "Alright, house of ice. I can do that." Chen then got to work on creating a house of ice. It would need to be pretty big to fit at least four people, so he got to work on creating a big tepee house. Like the Native Americans used to love in. He sweated a bit as he focused on making sure it didn't collapse, breathing heavily as he drew on his reserve energy. By the time he was finished he collapsed inside of his own tepee, sweating and gasping for air.

Valentine followed the Hippowdon and Drago with a frown marrying his face. Rayquaza claimed that all of his minions were dead, but he wasn't going to take its word at face value. It could be trying to trick everyone by having all the minions just gather on the second floor. But as they ascended, there was truly nobody around. A jarring experience really, Valentine felt more unnerved by such a quiet dungeon than he did when in a dungeon with powerful Pokemon. It just felt... wrong.

Finally they caught up with the other team after Hippowdon rushed ahead. A bad move really, the only reason he wasn't punished for his mistake was because the dungeon was empty. He would've been slaughtered otherwise. Valentine formed a Shadow Ball in his hand, the other hand rolling a coin over its knuckles out of nervousness. "If it makes anyone feel any better, death isn't the end." Valentine chuckled at his joke and put the coin away. This was a job he was going to need to focus on completely.

Cobalt slowly opened his eyes and listened to Emerald cry about something. He wanted to sit up but could already tell that would be a no go judging by the dull pain in his head. Instead he turned his head towards Emerald and cringed.

'Do I deserve to be the leader? First mission and over half of my team is hospitalized and two mercenaries are killed because of my inability to lead.' Thoughts like this ran through Cobalt's concussed head as he considered his worth.

Then he noticed Ms. Vanhomrigh. Oswald was there too, sitting up and asking Esther questions. "Oswald, lie back down please. You don't want to be in a wheelchair for a week right?" Cobalt frowned at Oswald lightly and sighed. "But yeah, what happened? Those were not Grievers."
