Yoshida Book Cafe

Monday, July 20th, 2015

Ryan slowly started to relax as they walked to the Cafe, Rui talking mostly and Ryan intersecting every now and then with minor stuttering. He was definitely getting more comfortable as time went by, when they got to the Cafe he was only stuttering once every few sentences.

"I read Manga, but I also read some sci-fi novels." Ryan frequented the Book Cafe often and it showed as he immediately went to the Manga section to pick out some new copies of One Piece he hadn't read. He was still in the Thriller Bark arc and he really needed to catch up. After grabbing those he swiftly returned to the rest of the group in time for Kotori's answer. "Really? I like mystery novels too!" Ryan exclaimed in a rare burst of enthusiasm, which quickly faded as he blushed and looked at the ground. "I m-mean, they're cool too. I guess. He looked over at Katsuro desperately hoping he could alleviate the awkwardness

Talonite was jolted out of his internal monologue when another trainer approached them to join their group in the Reserve. "Oh yeah, sure, whatever. I'm Talonite." He didn't bother reaching for a handshake, or even acknowledging Jack very much. It didn't matter to him honestly, the new guy wasn't interesting enough to note. Maybe his opinion would change once they got in though. He seemed to have potential. "Let's go in." With that being said Talonite started to enter the Reserve, with or without them.

Route 10

@Alder

As Leo ventured onto Route 10, something began following him up the mountain, trying to be stealthy but failing miserably. A lone Torchic had escaped from the Reserve in search of adventure and glory! Its whole life was spent in the Reserve, battling other Pokemon who were mean and hurt other Pokemon. Most of the battles it had lost, convincing the Torchic that it must leave to gain experience and learn more about being a Hero. This was its first adventure into the outside world and it had already spied a suspicious creature which walked on two legs yet was enormous in comparison to the other Pokemon it had seen. The Torchic smelled all kinds of Pokemon on it, yet none of them were nearby.

The strange creature must have done something to them! The plot thickens. All that was left now was to question the monster on where it's captives were. It jumped out of "hiding" and screamed "TORCHIC!" which roughly translated to "Halt! Where are your captives!" What a curious little fellow.

Warakuma High- Hallways

Monday, July 20th, 2015

Ryan walked through the hallways quietly, preparing to go home and rest up after the stress that was the tests. He noticed that there was a massive crowd around the test scores and shrugged. He probably got a B or something, it didn't matter too much for him. There was also a commotion going on with what appeared to be Kotori and the guy they rescued from the mirror world, Katsuro. He had originally panicked and tried to heal him after seeing all the burns, assuming they were from some Shadow. After the first few Diaramas he stopped amd figured out they were prior injuries. He was waving around some money, which was probably not a good idea unless he wanted to get kidnapped again.

He decided to approach them so he could prevent escalation, although now that he thought about it he probably couldn't do much. Jesus, what could he do to defuse the situation? Why was he still walking towards them? Too late to back out now, he was right in front of them. "H-hello Kotori-Senpai. How are you doing today?" Ryan nervously glanced over at Katsuro, not sure how to make him stop bugging Kotori without coming off as a bully.

Then Rui showed up and Ryan started to relax a bit. He defused the situation with humour and Ryan laughed in spite of his nervousness. "Rui-Senpai is right, grades aren't everything ya know." Why did he just say that? Grades are SUPER important in Japan, now everyone is gonna think he's an idiot.

You guys still accepting? If so, I have a question or two just for reference:

-Are we allowed to start with fully-evolved Pokemon? Or is the middle stage or final stage in a two-stage evolution the maximum?

-How will trade evolutions and the like be handled? Do they still need to be traded, etc., or do they have set levels they evolve at now?

Thanks in advance for answering these/directing me towards the answers I need. If I think of anything else to ask, I'll post here or edit my post.

We're totally still accepting! I'll try and answer your questions as best as I can.
-When you start off your Pokemon starts with a Battle Experience of 3, which is roughly equivalent to Level 6. Every battle gives the Pokemon who participated 1 Battle Experience.

-Trade evolutions are handled like this. Take for example Gengar. Gastly evolves into Haunter at Battle Experience 13 or level 26. Add half of that to Battle Experience 13, now Haunter evolves into Gengar at Battle Experience 20 or Level 40.

For more information check out this Google Doc which should answer any further questions.

Talonite walked to the Reserve alongside York, stroking his Wimpod in an effort to calm it down and Necro floating beside them happily. When he had discovered the Wimpod he was overjoyed to find out that this was what Guzma had given him and it probably overshadowed how terrible the rest of his day had been. He was still trying to come up with a name for the little guy though. It had calmed down a bit and now it was mainly curious about what was going on around it, trying to make itself look tough.

York was feeling pretty excited about the Reserve and Talonite couldn't entirely blame him. There were sure to be some great Pokemon inside, he was hoping to find a good fighting type to help round out his party. There were a few other trainers around, likely some people who helped to stop Team Arclight during their raid on the University. Strange thing that was, the Admin clearly had more Pokemon available on his belt, yet he ran away when that one Grunt got done with the machine. Perhaps they were trying to sell information on it to someone else? That's what Skull would've done.

Talonite shook his head and placed his Wimpod on his shoulder, letting it chill put for a while. The Wimpod started trying to look intimidating and big upon his shoulder and Talonite shook his head. Perhaps Goliath was a good name for him. Intimidating, yet likely to be brought down by a single stone.

Is the card for the Devils, or one of the other factions? If you don't name it, it'll be the Devils.

EDIT: Actually, forget this, it'll be for the Devils anyway, I remember that I told people about this caveat before.

I thought I mentioned it being for the Demons, my bad.

EDIT: I had made it for Demons, I just changed the placement of sentences in the middle of writing the post and forgot to add the Demons part I guess.
Early Winter In the Jungle

@Sho Minazuki

Henry cursed vigorously as he pushed his way through the jungle, searching for his next target. He was looking for the Seal somewhere in this jungle, however it was proving itself to be quite difficult to navigate through this leafy hell. He had already been attacked by several birds, as evidenced by the frozen toucan he had perched on his shoulder, and it seemed like even the trees were out to get him as a branch that was previously unmoving had suddenly snapped and nearly fell on him. The thick brush was also annoying as he froze it whenever it got to be too unmanageable and then cut it in half. It probably wasn't a good idea to leave such an obvious trail behind him.

"This jungle fucking sucks." He muttered to himself as he froze some more brush and sliced a path for himself open. "Isn't that right Sam? You hated this jungle too, that's why you came to me to commit suicide." He made some fake baby talk at the dead toucan and pet it lightly. How the hell had his life come to this? He was petting a dead frozen bird in the middle of the jungle while trying to prevent the apocalypse. He should've listened to that one prostitute and gone to college.

Henry laughed as he got splashed with a bit of water, looking at Sania and giver her a thumbs up. "Good looking out Sania!" Henry reached down to help Asahi up along with Laila. This was why he didn't drink, it made you go to sleep sporadically. That and it tasted awful to him.

Henry grabbed Asahi's left arm and helped him get up, hearing something about Asahi cross dressing later. "Wow, alcohol makes you dress like a girl too? I'm for sure not gonna be drinking anytime soon now." He absentmindedly commented to himself.

Asahi took a few moments to orient himself and honestly looked like he was about to pass out again. Henry stayed near him just in case he did, someone should catch him this time. Unless he vomits. Henry took a few steps back just in case. Asahi made a little "o" symbol with his fingers, which Henry promptly poked a finger through with the precision granted to him by years of handy work.

"New outfits can wait! We need to go watch the thing in town! Everyone's already leaving!" Henry exclaimed loudly as he remembered why everyone was leaving the tavern. He then turned to the exit and began walking, looking over his shoulder to see if everyone was following.
Henry Pearl Avaritia The 2nd

Henry walked through the cold maze when a few containers near him exploded, something flying out of them forming into a monster of frozen ice. Henry yawned and jumped back lightly as a sub-zero fist smashed into the ground where he had just been standing. "Geez, I feel like the cold is making me sleepy. Does this guy have a name?" Henry dropped his sword and pulled out his pair of SMGs, the Cadaverous Callers. He pulled the triggers and they began to spray a mass amount of incendiary bullets at the ice monster.

It was honestly one of his best ideas ever to swipe these from the Machina after the last battle. He had detoured to a Machina inhabited world after the battlw at the Forfe to steal technology from them and to hone his skills with the Silver Eyes he had been blessed with. It had been quite a long day filled with him getting filled with bullets and the slaughtering of many machines. But it had paid off, he found a great pair of SMGs that only he had. He made sure of that last part, burning down the facility so nobody could get the blueprints for the guns.

Henry soon noted that the monster wasn't dead yet, it was actually angry now and was being quite rude. Shiva (Henry felt like it needed a name besides Ice Monster) swung at him again and Henry jumped in the air, opening a Gate below him to give himself something to land on. As Henry landed on what appeared to be a human corpse, he clicked a few switches on the sides of the Cadaverous Callers and switched to flamethrower mode. This was what made the guns truly special. Unlimited. Flamethrower. Fuel. He cackled as he melted Shiva with a torrent of flames, jumping off the corpse and returning it to his Gate as he landed on the ground. "Hey Hohenheim, can I get a card for the Demons?"
