"Oilburn" Slick Drake

Slick was taken by surprise when an invisible blur pinned him to the ground, he was completely unseeable to Slick's trained artistic eye. "I'lL mAkE yOu InTo ArT iNvIsIbLe MaN!" He cried out as he felt a very sharp something poke into his forehead. The situation soon deescalated as Feya pulled Slick up and began yelling about the food pyramid or something, but apparently from what the limited grasp on reality he had told him, these people were not art. Not yet anyways, there's always five minutes from now.

Soon enough people were seated at the table, or in Slick's case he was sitting on the table. Slick's bowl was quickly filled and then emptied even faster than Smith had managed to finish his food. "TASTES LIKE ART!" He exclaimed with joy as his bowl was refilled and emptied just as fast. What that meant only Slick knew, but it was probably something that would give anyone else horrible crippling nightmares. Anyone looking at Slick would see him looking at Smith, but closer observation would let them realize he was actually just looking in his general direction of Smith as he searched for the invisible ninja. "-where is he, where's the invisible canvas, the art can't be made if the artist can't find the canvas-" He mumbled under his breath, ignoring everyone else in his search for the clearly visible and poorly disguised ninja.
Just letting everyone know I've lost interest in this RP so I will be quitting. Apologies.

Ryan frowned as both Raymond and Chatterbox grilled him over his actions involving the dinosaur girl, but he waved it off easily as he took another sip of his beverage. "Let's walk you through the situation step by step. I have a girl with an unknown power on my hands, I have no idea whether tying her up would do any good. Which it wouldn't have by the way, unless you're stupid enough to think that rope can hold a rampaging dinosaur." He set his drink down on the counter as he continued his explanation. "And no, I couldn't have just 'tased her into unconsciousness', that would've only lasted a minute at most. So yeah, I try to use some psychology to make her run away or something. Sure it backfired, but my other option was to tase her so hard that she wouldn't wake up for hours on end. So unless you wanted me to give her permanent brain damage, I think I made the right call. Unless you wanted me to, I'm sure the PRT would love to find out that the new bad guys on the block are open to those methods." Heartless paused for a moment to collect his thoughts before he continued.

"Speaking of the PRT, let's talk about PR. Public Relations that is. I save a Ward, how does that look to the public? What do the common citizens think of the Jacks, we steal from the Community, we save little girls from burning buildings, are we really the bad guys? And if the public thinks we're just keeping the peace, how is the PRT going to look if they go after us?" This was all a load of bullshit of course, but it was well crafted bullshit. In reality, Ryan just wasn't willing to let an eight year old die. That's fucked up, even for him. "If you have any other complaints, you can shove em up your ass." With that being said Ryan listened to Broker answer everyone's questions. His frown only grew deeper as he listened to Broker explain why the other Whimsy needed to die, she just wasn't useful. This lead to a lot of questions about his own worth that he just didn't want answered. He didn't care so much about the Illuminati business, as long as they didn't fuck with him they could take over the world for all he cared. But the thought that the last guy he replaced was now functionally brain dead was...

"I think I'm gonna go to my room too. This has been a night I would like to forget about forever." It was only by the time he got to his room that he realized how much he was shaking, just like Chatterbox had been. Ryan had a lot to think about that night, so he opened up his laptop and hopped on the forums. Looks like tonight was going to be another sleepless one.

Nina finally managed to clear the water from her eyes, stopping her torrent of darkness once she heard the cries of her "ally" telling her to watch where she was shooting. While she cared not for his life in any way, it was pointless to kill him right now. Although the fact that he had the gall to try and order her around did want to make her pop his skull like a grape... Regardless they had bigger problems to worry about judging from the intense light shining upon them from above. Nina turned towards Amaterasu with a scowl, shooting towards her with fury in her eyes and a sword in hand to smack her down. Just as Nina was about to swing at the goddess, she blurred out of sight, reappearing a bit behind Amaterasu and firing a massive beam of darkness at the goddess's flank.

Trey forewent any type of prior research before the mission, instead spending his time in his room reflecting and polishing his weapons. To be sent on a mission this soon was unheard of as far as he could tell, it made no sense to do something like this so soon, especially during an investigation regarding a murder that had happened on this campus. But perhaps that's why it was done, to try and get everyone's minds off of this event. After all, it seems like the most vocal of the students regarding the incident had been put on the same team, plus a few other troublemakers from what he could tell. Maybe they were going by friends, after all he had been put on a team with his new friend Roland. But no, that conclusion made no sense, otherwise Lumen would be on the team as well. "Oh well, it doesn't really matter why this is being done. Just that it is." He muttered to himself as he left the building and walked over to Ms. Tholl as she whistled for everyone's attention.

They hadn't started off on the best foot admittedly, but Trey had been trying his best to get on her good side after the first day. He showed up to class every day, tried his best not to look as tired as he felt so early in the morning, and paid rapt attention to her lectures. He didn't even talk about the wolf anymore, even if he found himself staring sometimes. It was hard not to, it was a wolf in the middle of the class after all. Maybe it would be part of the lesson plan eventually? Shaking himself out of those musings Trey stopped and looked at his maybe teammate Lotte Chaubert. If he hadn't been told prior he would've mistook her as a student, but apparently she was staff. Just someone to assist if they ran into any unforeseen problems, but a welcome addition nonetheless. Trey didn't say anything to her, but he did offer a small smile and a wave as he waited for his other teammates to show up.

Speaking of, here comes the other person he didn't know. Sonia Weaver, another arachnid apparently. This was certainly turning out to be an interesting team, not a single one of them was human it looks like. As with Lotte, Trey merely offered Sonia a small smile and a wave as he waited for Duncan to show up and join the team.
Interested.

As Nina stepped into the pyramid she found herself in a lush jungle or swamp of some sort, water pooled to just above knee level for her as she searched for the enemy she knew would be here. A voice echoed all around here, telling her to turn back lest she die like all who had come before her. Of course this would not do, she had a goal to fulfill so she couldn't just turn away. Not only that, but this voice sounded condescending as all hell, which pissed her off. "Not only will I not turn away, but I shall tear you apart for your insolence! Now come out so I can crush you!" Her eyes darted around, nothing coming from the left or right, no attacks coming from above and a quick look over her shoulder told her nothing was behind her. Suddenly she noticed how quiet everything had gone as she looked at the water that pooled at her knees, her eyes narrowing as she suddenly drew her blade.

Not even a second later her suspicions were proved correct as Sobek, the Crocodile Guardian of the first pyramid erupted from the waters and swiped at her with the force of several men. Nina had no problems blocking this attack, but she wasn't prepared for his tail swipe. She attempted to guard her torso expecting it to smash into her, but she wasn't ready for the water to splash into her face and blind her for a moment. Nina closed her eyes and opened her mouth, shooting out a stream of Darkness to try and push Sobek away from her for a few moments when suddenly something grabbed onto her from behind. Her head turned and with it her stream of darkness ate away at the plants that tried to grab her, the one that actually did manage to grab her was quickly cut through by her blade as she took off to the air. As she rubbed her eyes to get the water out of them she continued to fire darkness everywhere blindly, not even aware that Mephilus had entered the battlefield. He would need to be careful to not get hit by friendly fire, as this darkness ate away at everything without care for friend or foe.

A very disheveled and smug looking Henry walked through the streets of Hyperion towards Eos's throne room, blindfold covering his eyes as he shoulder checked any civilian who didn't immediately clear out of his way. Not that there were many, most people were beginning to wise up and not make Henry angry lest they lose a limb or visit the hospital with several broken bones. Henry had gotten his pay docked several times for these incidents of course, but he had certainly built a reputation. Finally Henry made it to the front door, luckily the doors opened automatically so he didn't need to worry about running into it like an idiot. As for why he looked so disheveled, he had just spent a very long time in the Neutral Areas while completely blind and deprived of his Gates. Even the best of the warriors in the Nexus would struggle to survive in such a harsh environment and that was not counting all the handicaps Henry had entered with.

But he didn't break from this, no he died a few times but he remained unbroken. Not only did he survive the deadliest places known to the universe, he thrived in those places. But that was a story for another time, right now Henry needed someone to fight. And luckily for him Eos had called him in personally for just such a thing, as the rest of the Machina elite were busy with some lame desert. Thus the task that Eos had fell to him, whatever that task was. Just before the door to Eos's throne room he stopped and sighed, fuck this thing was getting annoying. He reached up to the back of his head and looked for the knot tying the blindfold to his face, locating it and letting it loose with one smooth pull. The fabric fell to the floor and Henry rubbed his still closed eyes for a moment, finally taking his hands away from his face and opening his eyes.

Henry was back and ready for action. He opened his eyes and grinned, only to suddenly cringe and bring his hands back to his face to cover his eyes. "AGHH GOD FUCKING DAMNIT IT'S BRIGHT IN HERE!" He screamed as he pressed his hands to his face, taking a deep breath as he straightened up. He slowly took his hands away from his face and opened his eyes just a little bit, yeah that was better. With that he entered the throne room and waited for Eos to address him.
"Oilburn" Slick Drake

"Tibularapier! I got the milk!" Slick's voice emanated from below deck right after people began asking where he was. A brief moment of silence passed. Then Slick made his entrance as he exploded through the deck of the ship, holding two bottles of milk and looking slightly singed. If anyone bothered looking through the hole he had just made they would notice the charred remains of a pig head and several broken bones from... something. Also several melted plates and utensils, but they had plenty more. Probably.

Slick landed on the deck gracefully, holding up the milk with a bright smile on his face and his flamethrower strapped to his back for some reason. He looked around and his smile turned into a look of confusion, why was everything broken? Slick looked at everyone else as if silently asking what was happening when he spotted the other ship right next to them. He gasped and dropped the milk, the bottles shattering as he brought his hands to his mouth with a look of... excitement? "Why didn't anyone tell me it's time for art?" Slick turned on his flamethrower and jumped off the side of the ship, flinging a whip of sticky oil towards the other crew's mast and using it as a grappling hook to pull himself the rest of the way. "WhAt ArT sHaLl I mAkE tOdAy CaPtAiN?" He called out to Boone as he helped out an injured Lilli. How long have they been fighting for! He could've made so much art by now!
