Omega never admitted to anything, in fact, a very devious smirk plastered on his face as he watched the television. Like a game of chess. They may have taken my best piece out of the game, but I still have pawns on the board to get the queen back in the game.

When he was punched, he grunted, but oddly chuckled before spitting blood from his mouth.

"You won't stop it you know?" Omega said to Enyo. You could kill and I'd still win. A postmortem win would be pretty epic." Omega said through is teeth. "Zoe's still outside right? She has quake powers doesn't she?" Omega chuckled before the entire area started to rumble violently. The protesters outside started to fall to the ground and soon a fissure was created between the crowd. People screamed for help before a man jumped from out of the crowd and threw a ring shaped device that stuck around Zoe's ankle, nullifying her powers (Even though it was not her anyway) and the quale suddenly stopped. The man stood between Zoe and the crowd of people wearing a red and black uniform with the Phoenix logo.

"Remain calm people. Phoenix will make sure nothing else like this transpires!" He announced as others dressed like him appeared and helped the civilians up and to safety. Even healing anyone who was wounded. This group did not wear the same uniform as the attackers from three days prior. Their uniforms were cleaner and more heroic looking. They were similar to the Conspiracy uniforms, but seemed a bit more hi tech. "Lady Quake, these people don't deserve violence! Their first amendment gives them freedom of speech! Now we're not here to fight you. We just want to make sure this protest remains peacful!" The man announced as cameras shifted to him.

Omega chuckled in his seat. Let me go and this all stops. I promise you Enyo. Think of your friends. You sacrificed much more to save them. Just let me go and everything goes smoothly." Omega offered.

Suddenly on every news station in the country, a logo with a red phoenix appeared. A deep voice spoke, though it was not masked. It was strong and full encouragement.

"Fair people of this nation, we are the cause of your sight of the truth. The Conspiracy is exactly what it names itself. They claim to be your heroes, but they are only self serving. They're killers with no rules of engagement, and above a, they seem to work outside the government and with beings not of this world. Can you truly a force that has no way of being policed up. They use codenames and aliases. The conscript criminals. Using criminals to save our people from what?" A scenes of dead victims and destroyed property began to flash on the screen before the logo returned. "Mr. President our leader will be speaking to you in the coming days of an alternative to this corrupt agency. Our meta are free to share their pasts, they're all American citizens, they all have rules of engagement and follow the laws of the land. We can be trusted as we will not only work within your government, but we will be at the full service of this nation. We are Phoenix, the new hope for not just the nation's, but for the relations between meta and humans." The news then cut back to what it was showing.

"I look good for this? How does this in any situation help me? You think I want to get carried by that money and crucified. Sure, I took your friend's body, but have I really done anything wrong? Shiver, would Michael have comforted you in your time of need. Memory serves that he didn't give a damn about you when you were singled out and captured. And Enyo, would he have cheered you up after what happened with Shayla?! Huh?! Wicked, if you don't hate me, fine, but I deserve an apology for what you did 24 years ago. Yes, I may not fully be that boy from then, but I am enough of him thanks to your healing. Do you know how angry I was? Or even how depressed I was when I was removed from my only family. In a sense, I didn't steal this body. I just took it back." Omega shared.

"That was the night you got raped and beaten. I saw red... I wanted to avenge you more than anything else." Omega paced in the cell as he was accused of foul play without any significant proof. "I just wanted to help! Why am I in here for something I didn't do?! Like what the hell?" Omega protested. "Miles wasn't on there, so can I assume he's gonna get locked up right across from me. Your mother has always hated me. She's just being subjective."

Nvm, I'll work with what I have. I still think it was very one-sided and had little leverage. "I think you may have something to do with this because we didn't see you in a video. Sure there are others who are also not in it like Miles, Evergreen, and Zoe, but yeah Omega you should have been in there so you go to jail."

The lawyer outside saw Shiver and approached her with a subpoena in hand.

"You must be Shiver. You've been served for the violent actions against my clients by your agent, Omega. Since he is your responsibility, you and your agency are responsible. I'll see you in court."

Omega watched the morning news with a crooked smile on his face. Much had been done in three days. Omega thought back on it. First there was the attack. His soldiers did well in taking what they needed from R&D. With his army rising in strength, they would have a base built in no time. The R&D blueprints contained the recipes for building two bases, weapon and defense systems, as well as gear to use in the field. This would help the group begin to truly establish themselves.

After the attack, Omega had paid a visit to the surveillance room. That's where he really had fun. He downloaded footage from it that he thought would be best to deface the agency. He favored the base attacks, but more so the in-fighting and questionable acts revealed. For example, Cupid's preying upon dead bodies, Cambria's outbursts and comments on the punishment of others, Sigma's confession of working with a villain, Shiver and others admitting to Enyo's relationship with Loki, Donovan... being himself, and arguments of ethical versus personal choices. The meat and potatoes of the negative things that went on in the HQ.

Omega then took a leave of absence. He claimed he only wanted two personal days to himself, but in actuality, he was just using the time to fortify his group. Phoenix, that's what he named them, risen from ashes, he says. The interpretation of ashes varied. Some members said it would be from the ashes of Output, others said it was of Conspiracy, and the rest believed it would be from the ashes of their former lives before being abducted by Output. Output was an organization that secretly conscripted meta human children to be superpowered mercenaries. Omega and Sigma were both conscripted, though they both broke away from the group after its supposed fall. Omega checked on Phoenix and gave them his plan of action as well as informed them of an illegal shipment of anti meta weapons that they would get the drop on thanks to Omega interrogating the man known as Peter Dunning. Then the night before this erythromycin morning, Omega made sure the video feed and files he accumulated wound up in the hands of the media. Now all he needed to do was wait.

Omega watched as clips were played, knowing this footage was being viewed across the nation. Podcasts, radio stations, and news actors were speaking with outrage. People began to feel skeptical about the organization known as Conspiracy. Others set out to make statements. Omega was glad... happy with his work. He brushed his teeth before informing Wicked.

"I think a mob is forming outside the HQ. Something is definitely up." Omega said with concern.

A single man made it to the guards. He was dressed rather well in a business attire. "I would like to speak to Shiver. It's about a court hearing. Two men are pressing charges against your Conspiracy for the violent actions of one her agents." The lawyer said seriously. This was only two of several cases that would be served. If Shiver thought she was stressed before, she may not be ready for today. Outside people gathered with signs reading things like "Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely!" and "We Don't Need Monsters To Protect Us!"
