Childhood: Adelaide’s early life and origin are shrouded in mystery as she suffers from Amnesia. The only memories she has come to her in flashes, a Woman’s Face, a Man’s voice singing softly, feeling cold, hungry and alone. The first real memory she can recall is being at the Grusk Academy training to be solider in her early teenage years. She was quickly drafted to be part of a secret Project Simply code named Alpha. She was put through rigorous trials and extreme mental conditioning where failure to adapt meant death, or worse. Then the experiments began. They replaced her lower left arm with a clockwork arm and hand. Too scared to escape Adelaide did the only thing she could think of, survive.
Adulthood: After many years of brutal mental and physical conditioning, Adel finally found the courage and opportunity to escape. On the way to surgery to have her eye removed and replaced she strangled the attendant before she could be put under and made a run for it.
Special Moments: Adelaide made a special connection with another girl in Project Alpha known as #12. They spent most their time together training and talking about what they would do when they got out of the project. #12 even taught Adel how to carve wood. Adel quickly began to fall in love with #12 and they would share several secret rendezvous. However, tragedy would strike. #12 was to undergo a third attempt at a clockwork transplant and she would die on the surgery table.
Current Events: A year after escaping, Adelaide has found herself hiding as a carpenters assistant in the Capital city of Eagrose.
