Would we get more points as the game goes on? So as we get more experienced, our stats could match those of others.

So what is the difference between Attack and Keyblade Proficiency? Both seem to refer to physical attacking(though keyblade proficiency being narrower, I suppose) so wouldn't one or the other be redundant?

Do we choose what worlds our characters come from? Are there limits to this?

Is Star Wars and Marvel included in our Disney for this game?

Can we start filling out a CS here, or should we wait for the real thread?

Sorry for all the questions.
I’m interested. And I like that there’s a combat stat system.

Can you expound on how that would work here?
Zhay could not believe he was riding a flaming train to Ba Sing Se. He was still heated at his manager, but there wasn't much he could do now. He was coming form a rally race in the Si-Wong Desert, and would have gladly driven his truck up to get up to his next gig. But Yoru thought he had partied too hard the night before, and had slept too long this morning. And so he had been left behind with train fair and a note.

Well, maybe it was nice to nap on the train for the first leg of the journey, but now that he was awake it was hard to stop being aware of the press of people around him. The Foggy Swamp water bender that could be smelled three rows away. The Air Nomad who was playing a flute somewhere out of sight. The sandbender girl in the seat across from him; the older man having a quiet, but apparently in depth conversation with her. The firebender next to him who was just a little too warm to be comfortable, and who kept trying to talk to him, apparently recognizing his Fire Nation descent and believing them to be countrymen.

"Look, lady," he said to her eventually, "I'm an airbender from Republic City. I've never been to Ember Island and I don't like spicy food. I don't think we have the common ground you're expecting."

She narrowed her eyes at him, and said flatly, "You're not an Air Nomad."

"Not what I claimed to be," he waved his hand, in front of him, producing a gust of wind that blew her hair back. Some people seemed annoyed at the disturbance, but Zhay ignored the grumbling and it died down after a moment. The woman stopped bothering him after that, and went back to reading her book.

Zhay wished he had his cartridge player to listen to some music.
Name: Monarch-12

Age: 13 years awake, unknown when they were constructed.

Sex: none

Type: Glaive

Descriptor: Golem

Focus: Endure

Explain Focus: Mon’s android body is harder to break than squishy humans, and their internal power source never seems to run dry. They can take hit after hit, and never tire or slow down.

"I am a golem glaive who endures.”

Backstory: The Monarch - 12 was created for a long forgotten purpose, by a long forgotten people. They were jacked by a numenera hunter, and sold to an affluent family, who kept them as a manservant. Having no active memories, Monarch learned all they know from them, including language and attitude.

A violent revolution freed them involuntarily, and monarch had wandered the earth ever since. They fell quite naturally into the trade of hunting numenera, but despite their freedom, they have never quite shaken the attitude of subservience that they picked up.
Monarch-12 moved as well as they could through the crowd, stopping periodically as they did to politely allow others by. They were dressed as if for travel, armor layered with a tabard-like robe. Over their shoulder was a sturdy, but much patched satchel, and on their hip was a sword. Though they left their mechanical head uncovered, they knew people only looked with passing interest. Some suspected they were an automaton, some just assumed they wore a mask or helmet. Most didn’t seem to care either way, and their sword deterred the ones who did. Most of the time.

Patience was the mark of this Glaive, but eventually even a saint would choose the path of least resistance. When Mon had given way for the three hundred and twenty second person since arriving at this festival, they decided the nearest shop would do. An Aeon Priest(claiming to be the only one in town) was crying her wares. Monarch approached and addressed her, making no mention of her own physical oddities.

“Good morning,” the voice came out clear, the automaton’s vestigial mouth moving to mimic a human, which took away any doubts about the nature of this creature. “I do have some unknown numenera, as well as some for sale, if you buy or trade.”
Oh, thanks, I'm relieved, actually. I'm new to the source material, so I'm glad I managed to capture it okay.

Is it allowed to already have some numenera/artifacts? I know we're supposed to be hunters for them. Any limitations on what they might be if we do?

Will we be making them up as we go, or will you tell us what/if we find things?
I mean, I guess not everyone knows that.
I'm pretty sure the Avatar relics would be useless for identifying the Avatar now.

Hm, I have a couple of ideas, I kind of want to see what other people come up with before I make one, so I can pick the idea that will fill a niche rather than make repeats.

EDIT so I don't flood the thread double posting. Can you tell us a little bit about the town of Omar, so we can come up with a reason our characters might be there?
