Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

Selena

Selena continued to drink on her own, having no one to talk with. She enjoyed watching the others, if purely for nostalgic reasons as they would all disappear soon. Her character was always like that, watching people from the sidelines, coming and leaving as she wished. And so far, she still wished to stay. Might as well stay here until the very end, she thought. She had a thought of casting her hexes to the people here silently, just for... what's the term again... ah, "shits and giggles". But that would probably end with her being attacked back, and she preferred to enjoy her last moments at peace. Well, at least there was that player who summoned a Beholder for target practice. She silently cast her hexes to it from a distance, just because she could.

And then, she was interrupted.

"You know, drinking alone is usually frowned upon I think. Don't see anyone ya know? Aside from an annoying pixie neither do I. Might as well use the last minutes we have to get a little friendly. Just call me Sen."

She looked to the person now standing beside her. Hmm, a demoness. Unlike some players, she didn't really care about whether you're a heteromorphic or not.

"Selena. Call me Selena," she responded back with a smile.

Ragna Wolfang

Ragna looked curiously at her partner when he introduced himself. An angel? That was a rare demihuman species indeed. Even back home, she only heard stories about them.

Her host then introduced herself as Elizabeth, or Lizzy for short. Ragna thought she wouldn't call her with the latter however. It simply felt improper to the serious girl. They just met after all.

When she asked if she had any special needs, Ragna remembered her kind's little "condition" when they were under the full moon. They would seek others of their kind to mate, as normally, wolfman preferred to live alone or in small groups. That was how they kept up their numbers and not went extinct.

Basically, she would be in heat.

"Yes, about that, I would just warn you that under a full moon, I will be locking myself inside my room. Please ignore any odd noises you may hear," she said to her with a slight blush.

"Oh, and I also would like to look around the city. Seeing how I need my host to always be present when I walk out, I would need you to go along with me, Miss Elizabeth," she added.

Clara Witherfield

"Japan?" Clara responded to the old man's exclamation with a confused look on her face. She tried to remember where she had heard that name before.

"Oh... that island in the Far East?" she replied. "I am quite unfamiliar with it as I lived in London all my life." Once again, she didn't mention that she now lived in the elven world.

If he was right, then that explained the unfamiliar building in front of her. It wouldn't be odd for a distant country to have different architecture than her home. The elven world had a wildly different style to their buildings after all.

She then received the reply to her introduction from Dezuel.

"Very well then, Sir Dezuel," she replied back, blushing slightly from his praise. She still felt it wasn't proper to call him with just his name. He looked like an important soldier of some kind and he was older than her too.

He then accused her of being a mage. She was taken aback from this. How could she have know? Should she just go admit who she really was? Or should she still pretend to be just an ordinary orphan girl from London?

In the end, she decided to take the middle way.

"Y-yes, I am a mage," she replied. "I am one of the Awakened Ones when that comet passed over Earth. I suppose looking it from that angle, I am one of the chosen ones."

"And I never heard about your organization, Sir Dezuel. I know some organizations that was pro or against Awakened Ones, but none of them was named ELF."

Her conversation was then cut short with the other old man yelling loudly towards the old man that came with them. She quickly approached the two to try to calm down the situation.

"P-please do not be angry," she pleaded to the old man. "We're not illegals. We're simply lost, that's all. You might not believe this but we just appeared at this place a while ago. If you can grant us bearings, then we will be on our way."

@Dezuel
Selena sat amongst the other players, looking at the raspberry wine cup in front of her as she idly played with her hair.

She still couldn't believe this. After all these years, after all the hard work she had done, this would be the end.

She remembered when she first started, how she was terribly weak as she chose to go solo with a character designed for support. She had to grind on weak monsters, making her leveling up process longer than the average person. She remembered how some people had booted her out of their party when they discovered her that all she could do was cast some weak debuffs from a distance. She couldn't blame them, really, as debuffs from a weak character like her back then meant absolutely nothing.

But eventually, she hit her stride once her hexes became more powerful. There she could actually become an important member of a party and not just a hindrance taking up spot and EXP. But she was still weak in solo play, so she wasn't done yet. She was still not the ideal character she wanted to play as. She didn't wish to become a mere support character, having to have a party everywhere she went.

And so, after a lot more grinding, helped by her spending a significant amount of her wages in real life to buy EXP buffs and the like from the item shop, she finally managed to reach the level of strength she was in now.

And then this happened.

She sighed once again for what must have been a hundreth time today. Her thoughts then went into the farm she had built. That too would disappear. She had so much fun planting and growing her own crops, then cooking them to make her own food, then giving or selling them to people who needed them. She loved hearing them praising her cooking. In real life, she had no chance to do something like that after all. One of her deepest secret is wanting to become a cute bride and hearing her dear husband praise her cooking. And with her being 30 and still single in the real world, that dream was getting away from her for every day that passed.

She looked around the room. She didn't recognize most of the people there. It couldn't be helped. She had been quite the anti-social player all this time after all.

"I suppose I would just drink myself away until the end... should be 15 minutes from now..." she mumbled to herself as she drank all the wine in her cup in one motion.
Esther von Degraff

Esther managed to catch the princess' order even as she was kicking her wind blades towards the rocs, simultaneously dodging one of two who descended and tried to grab her with their claws. She took a short glance at the church she pointed at, and realized it would indeed be a better place for her to strike. This building was simply not high enough for her to get an accurate strike at the rocs circling in the sky. However, she then heard Regina arguing against it, saying that the plan was terrible. Ooh, this isn't the best time for that! she thought to herself as she took cover against another roc. They couldn't afford to be divided at a time like this! In the end, she decided to follow the princess' order as she was their leader after all.

"Kreeeeeeek!"

One of the rocs swooped down towards her position. She decided this would be the best time to move. So right before the roc connected to her, she switched her vessel to its normal state and used it to do a long and fast leap towards the well. She then grabbed the rope there, somewhat struggling to pull it out as she wasn't really that strong physically. To make matters worse, the roc from before followed her and descended upon her once more. She quickly summoned her wind barrier, bracing for impact as there was nowhere she could hide in a wide open space like this.

And the impact was strong indeed.

At contact, Esther could feel the sheer force of the roc weighing down on her. She could feel the ground cracking beneath her boots as she gritted her teeth, channeling all her strength to maintain her barrier. They had a contest of strength, even for a short while as soon enough, their battle ended with Esther being thrown to the ground and the roc's flight path being redirected away from her. It crashed to a nearby two-store building, destroying what was left of the bricks and stones making the building. This would be a perfect opportunity for her to counter attack, but unfortunately, she was now laying down on the ground, her entire body aching from the blow.

Thankfully, it didn't take long for her to recover, as she soon got up, grabbed the rope, and leaped towards the top of the church from the outside.

"H-here's the rope!" she shouted as she threw said rope to the top of the city hall after she was up top, kicking it a great distance using her vessel. She then grabbed the tip and tied it on the nearest available pillar she could find, with her hands still shaking from the attack she just received. Then, she took cover behind it, as she tried to calm herself and her wildly beating hard.

T-that was close! T-too close!

Wait, Yuuki is a shota?
@KoL
So, according to the princess' plan, Esther is supposed to grab the rope from the well, jump to atop the steeple, then throw it using her wind magic to the top of the city hall where Gradon and her would be waiting? Setting up to trip a roc with the rope, right?
@Seirei No Hai
Just reminding you that Marin collapsed soon after and you should be able to see wounds all over her body.
Ragna sat quietly inside the running car as she looked through the window beside her to the scenery beyond. Her expression was one of calmness, but inside, she was noting everything she saw. This was the first time she visited the human world after all, so their society was still unknown to her. It was definitely quite the interesting sight. It's a shame that the rule forbid her to go out on her own. It seemed she had to bother her host if she wanted to walk around the city, and being an independent spirit like her made her hate relying on others.

Near her was another demihuman, or, at least that's what he was supposed to be, seeing how she didn't see any demihuman characteristics on him. They both were going to stay at the same house so technically they would be a partner of sorts. In retrospect, she should have asked for his name but her solitary nature made her not want to. They were going to introduce themselves to their host after all and there she would learn his name.

After a while, the car finally stopped. It seemed they had arrived. The good Mr Xanders got out first, telling them to stay there until he returned. Well, she had no plans to go anywhere. It wasn't like she was going to bolt and run or anything.

And then, after some more waiting, Mr Xanders returned, bringing with him their host. Ragna calmly got out of the car and introduced herself to the lady.

"Greetings. I am Ragna of the Wolfang Tribe. As you can see, I am a wolf girl. Pleased to meet you," she said with a little bow. That was how the humans in this country showed their respect to each other, as she had been taught.

She then eyed her host. Hmm, a young lady, probably in her twenties in human age. Bespectacled, showing that she was near-sighted. Cheerful, smiling face, showing her amiability. Good looks coupled with good body. It was a smart choice to wear such a revealing clothes.
