Hexaflexagon (Concept)
In geometry, flexagons are flat models, usually constructed by folding strips of paper, that can be flexed or folded in certain ways to reveal faces besides the two that were originally on the back and front.

Hexaflexagon (Person?)
Academic who somehow got conned into working for the Government. Been role-playing both on forums and TTRPGs for close to twenty years at this point. I'm like 99% retired from active RPing on the Guild, but I still like to poke my head onto here once in a while to make sure that I didn't leave the lights on.

And there you go first OCC post is now up! I deiced to cut it in half to avoid making it too oppressively long meaning that you won't get to seem my CS just yeeeet. For now it's going to remain a mystery.
When to this sense of fear and evil the inevitable fascination of wonder and curiosity is superadded, there is born a composite body of keen emotion and imaginative provocation whose vitality must of necessity endure as long as the human race itself. Children will always be afraid of the dark, and men with minds sensitive to hereditary impulse will always tremble at the thought of the hidden and fathomless worlds of strange life which may pulsate in the gulfs beyond the stars, or press hideously upon our own globe in unholy dimensions which only the dead and the moonstruck can glimpse.

Act 1: Baby Steps

Zone 2
Coalition Research Center 2-1 aka Babel

Many denizens of Zone 2 can rightfully claim that they have seen Babel before but not many can claim that they had ever entered the building. Built atop the remnants of the old Ministry of Defense building destroyed during the Long War. It was rather stereotypical in appearance to the government buildings created in the aftermath of the War, it towered above the rest of the city, five towers crafted of deep black stone that seemed to absorb all light that hit it, and connected by large glass walkways the glass tinted so that the public could not view inside. And yet there was something undoubtedly strange about the building. Specifically it had no outward fortifications to separate itself from the rest of the city, their were no guard post or high walled fences, no security of any kind could be determinable anywhere about the campus; yet no souls dared to move across the invisible boundary that lay between the sidewalk and the finely cut grass that surrounded that single pathway that lead up to the entrance of the primary tower, each stone engraved with the names of those that died in defense of the Zone. People on their commute stayed as close to the curb as possible as they hurried by, some even stepping in the streets than dare stepping on the grass. No squirrels dared to run across the grass to try and grab at an acorn fallen from a tree and not even the birds dared to fly above the building just like the rare planes from central that dared the hordes of demons to bring in personal and supplies to their island fortress who were always routed far and away from the building's airspace. It was as if none dared corrupt the sanctity of the place with their presence.

Though early in the morning before the sun peaked above the skies their was discernible moment happening around the campus. It was a routine that had happened four times before and would likely happen again afterwards. Large APCs arrived on the scene, first one arrived and then a second, and a third and forth before more than dozen came. They were parked so that they formed a small wall and that any curious onlookers breaking curfew or peering out from their windows wouldn't be able to see within. What they would of seen was a scene of organized chaos. Men and women in clean cut uniforms marking them as Coalition military began ushering children out of the vehicles, most seemed disorientated and some still had tears in their eyes. They were the profits of a successful mission that took place all across the Zone. More or less abducted from their dwellings and shoved into the APCs without much of a word they were all ushered back to Tokyo 2 for the next stage in the operation. It was more dangerous in night and they risk more attacks then but it had to be done, it was better this way. Then row by row, group by group they were ushered into the main tower. As they did the APCs vanished into the night and a maintenance team got to work wiping away any remnants of them ever being there.

Almost immediately upon stepping inside the children were assaulted by an array of medical staff with strange instruments. Physical checkups began: eye sight was tested, reaction time was checked, blood samples were taken and some in the process were taken away by the scientist never to be seen again in the latter stages. After this they were all strapped of any personal belongings including clothing all of which were placed in plastic bags and filed away, they were showered and then given all uniform jumpsuits all slate gray in color and each inscribed with a ten digit number sequence upon the breast pocket, all of which started with the number five. After this the children were brought to a large open room filled with beds, each bed with a number corresponding to the one on their uniform. After the children found their beds, the adults stopped for awhile and drifted away leaving only a few guards around the edge of the room stern and impassive refusing to answer any question that were thrown their way. Some freaked out, some broke down, and others tired to talking to one another to try and get a better sense of what was going on to little success. But from what they could gather all of them had tested successfully as being 'limiters' whatever that meant. In the end they all did the only thing they could do wait.

Eventually some hours later the whole process began again as the children were rearranged into rows by number and marched through the cold and silent hall ways of the complex. They eventually arrived within a large room that appeared to be a lecture hall of some sort and one by one they were seated. Two large television screens dominated the far walls and they currently showed a camera image focused on a lone podium at the bottom which was currently unoccupied. Their was clearly going to be a presentation of some sort but at the current moment their was no activity below. So once again the children were more or less left to themselves beside the armed guards that stood at the end of each row and at the exits preventing the children from leaving. And slowly the conversations began again.
@greywolf375
That's totally okay, As I currently have the first so called 'act' of the game currently structured it'll be easy for to jump in even after we started. Anyway CS is done and I'm working on the IC post now, I'll post them both back to back once both are ready to go live!
Amd while taking longer than expected, I believe I have finally finished my application!

@KoL

Sorry, work been a little on the hectic side but things have quieted down. I will usually tell you all if something like this comes up, but sometimes I just don't have the time.

@DontCallMeZelda@Little_ninja@Algorhythm
I see no problems with any of your CSs so without further delay, accepted!

Everybody else (@Fabricant451@TheWindel@Nerevarine and whoever else I may have forgotten to tag)
IC post and my own CS are going to be coming up today, so keep an eye out for that!
@TheWindel
Ah all right! Anyway if you are just going to just keep the sand then everything else is good accepted!
Alright without further delay it is now time for the Reviews!

@DontCallMeZelda
Looks pretty good. I really just want you to clean it up a little it up a little bit. Like the stuff in gray like Everyone has a history. I want a good idea of where they are coming from and where they are going are in erase those words and within the boundaries of that
~~~~
In that space marked by the ~~~ You would place your information so that it becomes formatted properly. Once you do that I don't see any other problems of major concern.
@Fabricant451
Everything looks good on my end. Hmm never really thought about what would happen in Korea but it makes sense that I would fall relativity earlier since it's still attached to the mainland and thus experienced the full brunt of the assault. Anyway accepted!
@LostDestiny
It's a good start but I'm going to ask you to flesh it out just a little bit more. I'm going to ask that you add some more to the history and the personality sections give em a little bit more life to them look at some of the others that were accepted if you want a better idea of what I'm aiming for. I want to have a good idea of your character what makes them the person they are, and how their history has shaped them into what they are today. Beside that everything else is pretty okay, and I would probably classify her as Speed type as the teleportation sort of lends itself to that. Anyway once you flesh her out a bit more I'll look her over again and hopefully all will be well!
@Nerevarine
You know I really like the idea, I've read about the Dekasegi before but never actually seen anyone do anything with them before. Anyway everything looks good on this side of things Accepted!
@TheWindel
The only real problem I see is that she has well two abilities instead of one. Her counter act and the black sand. You either will have to cut one of them or figure out a nifty way of tying them together. Maybe like the sand sort of acts like a shield that when they hit it strikes back at them and if she wants she can expand it forward to do it's all devouring thing or something else or if you just want to cut one out. Whatever really suits your boat. Once you figure that little thing out all shall be well!
@KoL
Actually everything looks pretty good on my end! I like how her ice powers are different form the standard far in that you know it's terrible for everyone including her! I think that fits well with the general overall theme of suckiness that this is probably going to fall into. Just a quick question to clarify for me and then we will all be good. Where the Russian's a military detachment in Japan at the time or did she somehow cross the East China Sea? Just wondering for clarification purposes. Once you answer that all should be good!
@Dead Cruiser
Nope I don't oppose it just expect me to be a little bit more harsh in the reviewing process most likely. Just because of the rarity factor, I want to see a really good CS lol.
I would go with either or in terms of telepathy and psychokinesis. Powers are typically one thing so you can have psychokinesis but have layers within that psychokinesis as you can do more things with it and get more better trained with it. But I would considered telepathy and psychokinesis to be two different powers instead of under one banner if you catch my drift.
And yeah strange hair and eye colors could certainly be a thing.
Alright, I'm actually home now, so I don't have fifty five things bombarding me at once. So time to do some damage control.
@Dead Cruiser
When I said rare, I meant rare to the degrees of it's a statistical anomalies and they have no idea why. Of all limiters about 99.6 percent of them will be female about .4 percent of them will be male. In a world's whose human population is less than half of what it was twenty years ago at modern levels and then take the percentage of that from children twenty years or younger (which once again is going to be small, not a lot of people are concerned about the whole making babies thing or heck having children in the state of the world it currently is) that number is getting smaller and smaller. That being said some will exist. Meaning that I will probably accept one to two of the male gender to represent this disparity. With an acceptance pool this small, those are going to be reviewed and accepted on a much stricter and more harsher level than those of the female persuasion. There will be your Tuxedo Masks in the ranks but they will be small and limited if you know what I mean.
@LostDestiny
No need to apologize and I understand. I just stated that not really towards you but to everyone in general to avoid as much confusion then we already have had. lol Sorry if I come off as abrasive or anything, just tell me and I'll tone it down a little bit.
To everyone:
And on that note, fair warning I can be mean sometimes but that is only because I care. So I'll start reviewing CSs soon. Hopefully we won't run into any issues!
So. Many. Girls. I can change my character to a guy or make a male character if needed.
<Snipped quote by LostDestiny>
I thought we were supposed to only make girl characters <.<
Windel is right you are only supposed to make girl characters, I said so in the interest check (but I think I didn't mention it in the OCC. But then again I didn't make you list gender so I thought it was obvious -_-. You know it ain't much of a exploration and subversion of the magical girl genere if they ain't well girls.)
So just to clarify, the more powerful an ability is, the more severe the consequences are to the user, right? They can be either physical or mental drawbacks?
That's right!
To everyone
I'm still at work right now, so I'll be able to answer any questions anyone throws my way but I won't be able to review any CSs till later when I get home proper.
