@Burning KittyI don't think so.
Would Cassandra Lang be acceptable age wise?

Happy to say that yes! She would be.
@Dusty@Burning Kitty Here's a link to the Discord. Please let me know in general chat when you've joined and we'll get you moved to the AXM channel. =)
@Burning KittyDaken picked that out, of course it sucks.

Gabby is America's sweetheart, you should read all of ANW.

Laura can be Wolverine if you want, Logan can just be Logan! We have options for her codename. =D
I'm totally in as X-23.

I'll allow it.

I'll also probably allow Gabby.
Should I?

If you want to.
Slowly getting closer to completing my sheet.

@Universorum @Fabricant451
Decided to go in a different direction than what was discussed in the discord so I don't know if you'll go for it, but I'm gonna go with it and see what happens.
I can promise that my character is not a clone.

As long as there aren't any clones.
@BrutalBxlooks like its time for a party then

After his death, they kept the name.

Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.

It was his legacy, and they would never take it from him. Charles Xavier did more for mutants than anyone could ever know; his death is a tragedy, and is treated as such by the staff and the students. Even so, it was nearly five years ago that Charles Xavier passed on, peacefully and in his sleep, surrounded by his peers, students, and his beloved X-Men. His dying request was that the school stay open, and that the X-Men stay together and continue to fight for good.

Though the school never closed, the X-Men disbanded quickly after his death. Without his direction, they struggled to know who or what to fight for. Five staff members stayed at the school and continued to act as teachers and mentors for young mutants. Those five are Logan, Scott Summers, Jean Summers (maiden name Grey), Jubilee, and Kitty Pryde.

Despite no longer being the X-Men, those five stepped into bigger conflicts when warranted and when requested by their compatriots, the Avengers. However, after five years of relative peace following the Professor’s death, mutant distrust and racism is stirring up again, following a few attacks from less savory mutants. After meeting together, the staff members of the school believe it is time to rebuild the X-Men. Rather than attempt to summon former X-Men, they’ve decided to select students from the school to form a new X-Men.

For the first time in almost five and a half years, the Danger Room has been turned on. As requested by Charles Xavier himself, his X-Men are going to return to their truest, most core duty: showing the world that mutants aren’t intuitively bad.

"We have to astonish them."

What we’re accepting:

  • Mutants aged 15-19. Canon or OC! Slight preference to OC.

What we’re not accepting:

  • Fourth wall breakers similar to Deadpool and/or Gwenpool.
  • Non-mutants.

Canon NPCs Played by GMs:

OOC Briefing:

This roleplay will be a ‘sibling RP’ to The Young Avengers: Probation. Both will tell parallel stories on the same timeline, with possible chances for crossovers/team-ups. People are welcome to join both, but please not that joining both means you are equally a part of both. No favoritism!

This story is going to focus on the new X-Men. It will be equal parts slice-of-life as they attend Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, build relationships, and do all the fun teenager things they might get up to, as well as equal parts heroic action. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM myself (@Universorum), Fabricant (@Fabricant451), or both (preferably both!).

Once I get the OOC started, I’ll link up the Discord server to whoever is interested.

Thank you for reading!
