Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All of that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

The cold metal of the muzzle of the gun pressing against Chester's forehead was a odd sensation. He certainly wasn't afraid of the gunner pulling the trigger, the physical sensation was somewhat painful, due to how hard the gun was being pressed against him, yet, it was somehow relaxing, the cool metal made him feel relaxed.

Kuhn snarled at Isaac as he fought the girl. "Idiot-Swordsman, leave da pretty girl alone." Kuhn shouted, pulling his pistol from his hip with his other hand, aiming at at Isaac. "Or I'll put down two drunk idiots today."

Isaac frowned. "Fine." He said, his sword being taken away from Lina's neck, he twirled the blade in his hands, graciously spinning it back into it's sheath that he carried, the strap hanging loosely from his shoulder. He walked over to Kuhn, whom had now put the long-barreled gun to Chester's Ribs, in order to encourage him to stay still.

"Sorry 'bout all dis'. Business is business." Kuhn told him, as Isaac pulled out the handcuffs and the chains, promptly locking down Chester - whom was doing surprisingly little resistance.

Or talking.

"... He's asleep, Isaac. This fucking idiot fell asleep with two guns pointed at him." Kuhn said, in disbelief.

"What the fuck." He continued, as Isaac shrugged, slinging Chester over his other shoulder. Kuhn put his shotgun back in it's place, twirling the pistol on his finger, before he put it back in it's holster, as well. Walking past Lina, he tipped his hat. "Sorry 'bout all the ruckus." He seemed to genuinely apologize - despite being as smug as ever.

@Polyphemus Hm. So, canon and non canon characters are allowed?

May I be Wally West/Kid Flash, or possibly be Wally West as Flash?

Don't see why not! Fastest man alive!

Just remember than Wally would've had to just become the flash.

(Unless him and Barry shared the mantle, I suppose.)

Hey guys.

I can only apologise for not updating things on my end. I've had a hell of a fever/flu -the real benefit of going out with a nurse is that they bring you home every infection going- the last three days, and in between working full time then sweating and shivering myself into a stupor, I really haven't had the energy to post. I'll try to rectify that as soon as possible, but again, sorry in advance if I don't.

Somehow, I feel like this all ties back to you no longer being in the EU. But I can't quite figure out the proper wording to make the joke work.

Oh well.

Cuz I'll be honest, I've been waiting for one of the Tokyo people to be like "Oh wow, who's this random magician lady here?" and then I would post, but since I have a feeling that's not gonna happen, rather than wait, I'll get something going with what I have.

Go you.

Edit: That sounded sarcastic, it was not.

Edit 2: Pointing out that something 'sounded sarcastic' makes it seem sarcastic.. Sigh.

Chester began laughing, maniacally as Lina grimaced and cringed at the taste of beer. "It'll come to you, kiddo." He explained, taking a swig off his grog, almost finishing the bottle in one go. "Hey, Barmaiden, another bottle of grog, if you please." Disregarding what Macario said about only buying him one drink. Chester had after all saved him from those yellow coat-guys.

Much to his surprise, Lina chugged her drink, he smiled. "Better beer is always the solution." Chester added. He listened - sort off, anyway - to what Macario said. Macario was talking about his job, about the research he did - truly fascinating stuff.

"Oh, so you're really nerdy spies, then." Chester exclaimed, much too loud for the rather sensitive subject. "Like, super nerdy ones. Gotcha." The pirate noted.

Isaac and Jeko walked into another tavern, the Bilgerat, the Quartz Company's watering hole. It was empty - for now. Isaac opened the door, only to get met by the click of a gun as it was cocked. "Stand real freaking still." The cold voice from inside of the tavern spoke, drinking from his glass of cider as the seven feet long rifle was resting with the bipod on the table, aimed at the door. "You move a muscle, and I'll put a fresh new hole in your chest." The sniper threatened Isaac and Jeko, whom froze.

"C'Mon Kuhn. Drink getting to you already?" Isaac asked.

"You don't wanna shoot us, old man Goldenrod wouldn't like that." Isaac reminded him - showing that the drunken swordsman was still in the know, somehow.

"We have work for you."

"And stop drinking that piss cider. Grab a beer or a grog, man." He added, before the three would eventually leave the tavern - not for grabbing another round.

Chester yawned and stretched, Macario and Lina were still talking, he was not paying attention - he was now six bottles in, and Macario still didn't seem to have been clued in that Chester was gonna leave him with the tab.

"I'mma go take a leak." He said, as he stood up, heading towards the bathroom. He returned a minute later, after the door had already swung open - and the other odd trio walked in, Kuhn in the front, Chester didn't see him, but Kuhn quickly made his way to Chester as he came around the corner from the bathroom, the gunner clotheslined Chester, taking him by surprise, putting one hand around his throat, forcing him to the ground, and with the next, he aimed his sawed off shotgun - from his high, at Chester's forehead.

"You're gonna have a pretty bad day, bucko." Kuhn told Chester, whom snarled.

"Not as bad as you are."

You can't serve to someone who doesn't exist.

If you're a real boy clone who was never supposed to exist, you probably can.

Oh-ho! While the suit part rings, true. It's the engineering she finds interesting. Lindy will turn the smallest thing to use and great power for the sheer effect it has. Something need not be big and hulking to work well. And while the drones may have repaired themselves, which is fine by her, she's got a iron grip on the one she's rewired to speak to him and is more than willing to sit down and rewire it again till it gives up repairing, and will stick a pair of rabbit ears on it to mark the conquest of wills. It's useful and she needs information.

Like she said she's a patient woman, but a mad-woman is never patient.

Fair enough!
Pretty sure Julian's gonna serve her a class action lawsuit for it, though.
@Hillan All your drones belong to me.... Cue the Cackling in the far off distance.

Well a few, I was in the middle of typing that and that was too perfect to miss giving Luthor a ear full from a Mad Imp about proper drone stipulations and compliment his armor while completely off topic.

I wanna point out your perception of Julian's armor is, erhm, inaccurate. It's not a particularly large suit, it makes Julian a couple of inches taller, and gives him a slightly larger frame, but it's nothing compared to his father's regular arsenal - there's a picture in my bio of Lex wearing the suit that pretty much inspire the whole concept of Julian being Superman.

(P.S, Julian's drones did fix themselves. And that's unfortunate, because I quite like the idea of her hijacking the drones.)
The all new..
S U P E R M A N

Julian felt the cold skinny hands wrap around him, as Mercy's words rang in his ears warning him of the dangers spotted by his two drones still hovering around him, they fired at the power-absorbator, Julian began rerouting the quickly draining power of his suit, within seconds his suit was down to 90% efficieny. "Mercy, restart Drone One through Four. Full Reboot, nanite regeneration." Was his last command to the suit, as the four broken drones - the ones that had held Shrapnel, began repairing themselves.

Julian's suit rerouted all of it's power, the forcefield that surrounded him began failing as Parasite drained it's energy, the pink mutant gaining more and more power. Using all of the remaining 85% power in his suit, Julian expanded the forcefield as quickly as possible, creating an unstable field that pushed the Parasite off of the new man of steel, rendering his suit powerless, but it began recharging immediately with what solar energy was inside of the prison. Julian's drones targeted Parasite, about to fire, but he quickly waved them off, knowing that their lasers and electric charges would do nothing but power the energy thief further.

"I heard you gave the old Superman a run for his money! Let's see what you got, Bubblegum!" Julian postured, analyzing his surroundings - he needed to find some kind of restraints for the pink meta, or he wouldn't be Superman for much longer - as much as that would amuse Jon, it wasn't an acceptable outcome. Parasite fidgeted. "Hungry.. Soo.. Hungry!" He lunged at Julian, using the tactile telekinetic powers that Julian's suit had given him, Julian was barely capable of dodging under the lunge of the Parasite as he flew over him, Julian grabbing him by the ankle with his robotic arm, the arm fueled by an independent power source - One isolated well enough that Parasite couldn't drain it, unless he tore the arm open, anyway.

He hurled Parasite into the concrete floor, spinning around, the monster's face tearing up the floor, Julian kept his robotic grip around the beast's foot, releasing him with enough force to send him into a reinforced steel beam, which Parasite would hit with enough force to knock the wind out of him, despite his enhanced properties. "Insolent little.. Must feed!" Parasite shouted, charging at Julian, little more than a feral animal, the two traded blows, Julian's small forcefield from his arm allowing him to keep the meta at a distance, what little martial arts training he had was certain to keep him alive in this fight, luckily for him, Parasite hadn't come in physical contact with him, only his suit, so the meta had none of his intellect.

Julian's suit had recharged one percent, the hud in his left eye coming back online - his drones outside were now fully rebooted. He instructed them to assist with fighting Metallo - feeding Julian video. The four drones would fire their lasers at Metallo as Donna attacked him, giving Kent enough room to escape the Kryptonite. Julian projected his voice through the four of the drones.

"Superman here, fighting Parasite inside of the prison. I see several wounded. Require assistance! Kent, save the civilians and guards. But STAY AWAY FROM HIM. He gets his hands on you and we're all doomed. Superman out" Julian instructed, in between dodging blows from Parasite, blocking a jab and sending one back at him going mechanical fist to meta-psychopath-killer-vampire fist with him, but his arm was running out of power - quicker than Parasite's powers would vain. Relying on the Kryptonian to come and get out the guards, Julian was not willing to risk all these guards and inmates alike getting absorbed by Parasite.

Parasite caught him in the chest with a fist, sending Julian flying five meters backwards, the wind out of him - feeling like he had been hit by that train, all over again, two ribs were cracked, at least. He figured, each breath got harsher. Parasite stood over him and was reaching down to his unprotected face, Julian managed to put his open fist onto Parasite's chest, just as the meta was about to touch him - the meta touching his skin for but a nanosecond, before the blue pulse laser was sent from Julian's arm, the kinetic energy sent from the arm sent Parasite flying into the ceiling, which he fell out of landing on the floor, laying still for a momen. Parasite would have sustained serious damage, if the young Luthor's calculations was correct.

And they were always correct.

Julian crawled back onto his feet, his body hurting, partly from the punch, but also from the contact, his head felt jumbled, and his skin felt sore, like he was running a fever, he stumbled. His hud reacting to his thought showed the bluepritns of the prison - showing him the info of each area, he began walking - slowly, limping, towards the first aid station, ten meters away from him. He heard Parasite getting back up and getting on him, his arm was just about out of charge. His two remaining drones emerged around him, setting up a forcefield that Parasite began clawing at, absorbing trace amounts of energy from them - healing his injuries with each punch against the field. Julian got out a needle from the first aid box, and turned to Parasite.

He only had one shot here.

The drones let the Forcefield go down, Parasite charging at Luthor. "LUTHOR!" Parasite shouted, having learned his name from his brief moment of contact Julian jerked forward, instinctively, using what little power his suit had recharged his flew forward, meeting Parasite halfway, catching the monster by surprise - Superman had never recharged that quickly Then again, Superman never expended all of his own energy, either. Julian grabbed Parasite by the throat with his mechanical arm, forcing the meta onto the floor with a loud thud, cracking the concrete, jamming the needle into the meta's chest - right into his heart. The Tranq dart was meant to tranqulize BlockBuster, but hopefully Parasite still had enough energy left in him to not die from the dart, once the dart penetrated his body, and the drug was pumped into his system, the meta flailing helplessly against Julian's grip on his throat, till he shrunk down into his thin form again.

Julian let go of his throat, and collapsed backwards, leaning against the wall, sweat streaming down his face - his hair had gotten messy, falling over his face, his nose was bleeding and adrenaline was pumping all through his body. Not to mention the headache. I might've had a stroke. But I think I won.. Julian mentioned, one of the drones analyzing him - he hadn't had a stroke, he was just exhausted, running a fever, a cracked rib, a bruised neck and a few bopped blood vessels in his nose. Recommended bed rest, 3 days.

The other analyzing Joshua Allen - Parasite. He was alive. Unconcious - his body had metabolized enough of the drug that he was a stage above being in a coma. Joshua had a four broken ribs and several injuries to his throat and hands, as well as a concussion. Recommended bed rest, 2 weeks.

He would be knocked out for the next six hours, at least. More then enough for them to imprison him. Provided they could get ahold of the situation on the outside.
There was a holding facility at Lexcorp Julian could put him in until Belle Rev was capable of taking him in.
