@RyuShura@TominasWe're still open because some of the people I have tagged as "interested" have not spoken here yet, so in the case any of them are AWOL, I am still accepting players. Mind you, this will be a big game but I will be managing the application traffic as we go, so I'll never mark the RP as full. I will only put people on a waiting list until a certain situation or plot is finished. I find this to be the most effective way to GM a game because in the case we do have drop outs, then you always have people to replace the drop outs rather than me scrambling around looking for people.

So yes Ryu, you are welcome to join and post in the IC. CSes are not unlocked until the characters manage to kill the first mini boss (Horned Guard).

@ScarescrowYou can just post in the IC. If you're afraid or worried that your post might be mucking with something, you can PM it to me if it gives you some reassurance and I'll go over it. However, I really can't imagine your post mucking this up. Roleplayers have done the impossible in the past, but nothing to a seriously crazy extent.

@IceHeartSo basically, you're telling me that I need to be my own GM and to basically write my own game within your game? If that's the case, then just for me and only concerning how IRL is for me, this won't work. I am in a different timezone than most of the people here. When most of you are asleep, I'm awake and working and I wouldn't want people waiting for me to post when you guys post about 5 times per day. I already GM two big games, and so being in a game where I am basically writing whatever happens for the sake of my own amusement. No; not going to work. I join RPs to experience the GM's idea, storyline and plans not to write my own fanfiction. So I'll make your life a smidge easier and drop out. It will give you less people to worry about.

I added a 0th post to the Character Thread that everyone should read. You will see and learn how the rank system works. This also shows you the hierarchy in Afterlife and allows you to gauge how strong some enemies are. So if you are an Ascendant of whatever number and a King-level boss is trying to come at you. You would do what any smart gamer would do or any smart person would do period if a grizzly bear were chasing you - RUN FOOL! You won't win and more than likely won't even chip the paint.

These are the ranks your characters can achieve in this game.

Ascendant 1-19
Transcendant 20-29
Champion 30-39
Lord 40-49
Demigod 50-59
King 60-69
Legend 70-79
Myth 80-89
God 90-100+

Soul Count

As a starting Spirit, you need only 1 soul to acquire the rank Ascendant. In order for an Ascendant 1 to become an Ascendant 2, the Ascendant 1 needs to acquire 10 souls. Multiply 10 souls per rank and you will know how many you will need. For example, Ascendant 2 needs 20. Ascendant 3 needs 30. Lord 40 needs 400. Myth 89 needs 890 to become God 90. The math problem (your rank x 10 = souls needed).
