Who are we waiting on?

I mean, all we're doing is getting on a boat guys. Then there can be interaction as the boat leaves for the other side of the ocean (Where Elaniel is, I assume... right DP?). I should see at least a post a week from people so try to stay on that. Faith is okay as her characters aren't really holding anyone up but what's up with everyone else? Where are we all at?

I'm a bit confused as to why I'm seeing 4 days ago in IC. :\

Ok, guys finally back home and settled in! Drive took longer than I thought due to like a 2-hour traffic jam >.< Got a big boost of inspiration character-wise on the way home from dinner,so expect some definite progress from me tonight :)

Hello, Hello!

Tis I, Rose, wanting yet another RP. (Surprise, surprise.)

I have named this one Captured! However, before I begin, I'm going to post up the usual stuff about me and what I expect.

Stuff!

So, first, let's go over my tendencies.

- I am a 20 year old college sophomore female! I am an English Education major but that doesn't mean I'm ANY good at English. It just means I like to teach. Lol.

- I tend to main female roles but I will control NPCs of any gender. I also, again, am not perfect in the English language or in social interactions in general... If I seem very formal and uppity, I swear I'm not trying to be. It's just me being quirky with my language... Don't judge. Despite the derpitude with my language, I love language. I am a defender of language and I like to take care of my words, generally. So, I don't mind mistakes here and there; typos. But if you know you make mistakes like teenager girls make mistakes in high school, I'd suggest moving on. I'm not super nit-picky. But if the mistakes distract me from the RP, I'll probably drop.

- Another thing that would make me drop an RP is lack of communication. I LIKE TO TALK. It's okay, I don't bite. I might nibble, but I definitely won't go out for blood. I have a lot of little habits that might annoy some people so if you don't like the way I talk or my mannerisms, then I wouldn't recommend RPing with me. I may say things that seem like I'm being mean, but I'm really just being friendly... I dunno. I'm not very good with boundaries. .-.

- Now, being a college student, my RP time is rather limited. You can certainly pay my close-to 40K tuition if you'd like. Otherwise, I'm going to study.

- Also, I like things such as Legend of Zelda, mangas/animes, The Walking Dead, Supernatural, Doctor Who, etc. Pretty sure we could find small talk to procrastinate with.

I hope this gives you a good idea as to what I'm like and what I would expect from an RP partner...

Now, for the idea. Well, possible variants to idea.

V. 1:
Setting - 'Historical' Japan/Korea/China (I don't know much about these places as I don't live there but it's basically the old empire sort of deal thing. Think magical setting with witches dressed in asian dress and other such things. I'll look for pictures to give a better idea for this.)

You are a prince, soon to be king, and in order to become eligible for Kingship, one must find a bride. However, this bride must be special. The bride must be a 'Goddess'/Priestess in training. You, not wanting to try and court one, find a girl in a pond one day while on your daily walk. You notice that she has similar powers to those 'goddesses' to be that he must marry and decide to use her to your advantage. You take her as captive and keep her as your bride. The girl is, in fact, a goddess reborn, much more important than any of the girls you could have chosen from. (However, you don't know that!) Your father seems more than pleased with your choice but your step-mother seems a bit... threatened by the girl.

The girl wants nothing more than for her friends to be taken care of and you promise to help her provided she helps you become king. However, soon you find that she becomes far more important than Kingship over time. Your step-mother constantly tries to get in the girl's way, trying to destroy her powers and even takes away her memories. Through all of this protecting her, your feelings grow more and more for the girl as you realize just what you've gotten yourself into.

The biggest conflict, however, comes when you and the girl realize exactly who she is and what she is capable of. She is a goddess reborn, but that doesn't mean she was a very nice one before.

Alternative: He could have met her as a child and then remembering her, sought her out as his bride.

V 2:
Setting - Same as V 1 (Could be Japanese, Korean, or Chinese. Though, I might end up going with Korean since I'm more familiar with it, as I've read many Manwhas...)

The Butterfly Princess, an elusive being that has captivated the men of the [Yao Shan] family for many generations. Her story has been told for years and many paintings of her have been made but none could capture the true beauty of this being. They say she is silent, speaking in mere whispers and that the touch of her hair or skin could cure any ailment. It has been told that she has visited many a sick children to cure them of their sicknesses.

You are the current king/emperor of the Dynasty and you have made it your mission to capture this elusive being and bring honor to your family's name. One day, while out hunting for the Butterfly Princess, aptly named Cho, you finally see the glimmer of her colorful dress. You make chase with your hired witch at hand and she casts her spell, weaving magic around Cho's ankles, causing her to fall. She then weaves more magic as an invisible cage glows around Cho and then dissipates, shrinking to reveal a choker on her neck.

He'd finally captured her. The infamous Butterfly Princess. Now, he brings her back to his palace where he shows her to his people as a spectacle of his power and honor. Soon, Cho meets the king's younger brother and he quickly falls in love with her and plots to steal her away from the king. What will happen to poor Cho?

V 3:
Setting - Similar, however the girl will be from Modern Earth (America/Asian country)

She fell out of the sky. It was her. You're certain of it. The girl from the prophecy. She came exactly as you'd imagined. When you were a small boy, the royal prophet told you of a girl that would come from the sky and ruin your life. And here she stands, well lays, before you. You approach her to find that she has passed out from the fall and decide to take her captive. You hold her in a private room, keeping her secret from all but your closest ally, your right hand man.

As the king, you have a lot of responsibilities and if the people knew he'd taken this girl in, they would riot until she was executed for she would bring the ruin of their country. However, you are mystified by her. Her clothes are not of this world and she has devices only described as magic. Is she a goddess? What sort of ruin could she bring to them? If anything, to you, she must be a blessing!

But things will not go so smoothly. Many of the servants as well as your family find out about her and try to have her killed. You must protect her at all costs!

The Prophet watches, shaking his head. This girl would be the death of this king!

Walkers

Well, I'll try to post up a few options for you guys to choose from and we'll let the story carry it self. Right now, I'm in town with 15% on my phone so that'll have to wait till I get back home to my laptop.

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to go back to this. (Now that I've played the Walking Dead Dice Game with my mom. Lel.)

Some options for what could happen.

---

1) They search the Hospital and find it empty, with a few supplies remaining inside. In this arc, some memebers of the group will fall ill. I will choose these at random and PM those that get sick.

2) They find it void of walkers, humans, AND supplies. Because of this, the group will need to make constant runs to get the supplies they need and there is a chance of them leading walkers back to the building. They may even run into another group along the runs.

3) They find a room filled to the brim with walkers. The rest of the hospital almost looks... lived in. They find beds and other such things as well as a fresh looking can of beans.
--In this line, the group would find that a group had been here before and instead of fighting the walkers, had stored them in this room. However... Where are they now? (They will be found outside of the hospital as they come back.)

4) They find a small group inside the hospital and must figure something out. Will the characters attack? What will happen? The group will consist of 3 people. Two males and a small boy. The older males are presumably the boy's family. (The oldest of the group is the boy's uncle.)

2, 3, and 4 require me to create more characters unless you all would like to create these characters as well with me. You simply would need to ask me about it here in OOC and we'll decide.

But first, we need to decide which of these four plot options we'd like to do. The first may end in some characters' deaths. Which, if you haven't figured it out yet, the characters will probably die along the way. I actually do plan for one of mine to die. When they do die, you are welcome to create a new character to have come into the fold. :)

The second is probably the tamest and least complicated but could provide for some interesting character development for those that come across the group on the run.

The third will probably lead to the entire group gaining some development as the group that has kept the walkers in the room won't be... very nice. Or sane.

The fourth might end up with more characters entering out group if we aren't careful about how we deal with it. So if we do that one, we need to be careful that they do not join our group unless someone with one character would like to RP them. I've already got 2 so I can't take any more permanent group members.

So there you go. You are also welcome to suggest other options but these are the ones I'm throwing into the mix.
