[PERSONALITY]Sou is generally considered to be somber by his peers/the people around him. He is withdrawn and introverted, preferring himself to solitude and solace. Naturally etching away from loud noises and large gatherings of crowds and people. However despite his silence, he won't take an insult sitting down, he will and can defend himself from comments made towards him or people he knows.
Half the time Sou is found training his quirk, and as extension, his body. He cannot withstand and properly control his quirks abilities. He is steel willed, despite his apparent lack of talent for proper and congruent use of his quirk. At such, he is usually found with bandages wrapped all over his body due to injuring himself.
Once you get past his walls though, he has a heart of gold. He chastises/reprimands anyone who speaks ill will of anyone he deems a friend, and gets unusually aggresive towards the speaker. Even willing to clash with them if the situation calls for it. All in all, Sou is not usually an aggresor, but is willing to be for his friends.
[BACKSTORY]Sou's childhood was rough- to say the least. His parents both worked overtime to provide for him, and struggled because of their low income. As such, he was usually home alone, having to do the mundane chores. Because of this he didn't have much time to develop proper social etiquette, normally being in the house doing the laundry, making food, keeping the house clean and so on. He somewhat understood that it wasn't their fault that they couldn't spend time with him.
On one faithful day, his parents scrounged up some spare money over a few months to go on a vacation. Sou was surprised, but extremely excited as he had never gone anywhere outside his neighborhood. Whilst in the midst of packing his clothes and belongings, he heard his mother shriek. Loud thuds and shuffling could be heard in the next room over. Sou got up, and found a hooded individual standing over his parents corpses. The visage of the person's insane smile was forever etched on the back off Sou's mind.
The unknown man now clambered slowly towards Sou, and with each creak of the house's floorboards he found himself frozen in place. He was inching closer and closer, his mad grin getting nearer. Sou snapped out of it right before the man could grab him. Anger and fury replaced his fear, through his adrenaline ridden self he, for some odd reason, snapped his fingers. An ensuing explosion happened on the hooden man, his visage now filled with pain and surprise as he burnt on fire.
The hooded man now on the floor, screaming bloody murder, Sou stood over him and snapped his finger a few more times, each explosions getting bigger and bigger. The light in his eyes went dark that day, and he was only stopped when a hand rested on his soulders. In his surprise, Sou snapped his fingers towards the second unknown figure but stopped short when he recognized him. It was one of the heroes, he remembered him from one of the day parades. The man didn't say anything, only enclosing Sou, who now had tears flowing down his face, in a tight hug.
Sou was pardoned, under the pretense of 'extreme duress' and he had some heroes vouching for him.
Now Sou trains to be a hero, to not let another person go through what he went through. Sou lives with the hero (who adopted him) and is now making him go to the academy.
[QUIRK]Crackling Explosions - Sou can produce sparks by snapping his fingers (the sparks are produced by a special glove), creating a small explosion, usually appearing infront of his fingers. However Sou can choose raise the density of the oxygen surrounding his target to a level at which it becomes volatile and creates narrow pathways of oxygen between himself and his target through which he can direct the ensuing flash fire that blossoms from his finger snaps. The 'snap' sound heard at the start of these is caused by the near instantenous speeds at which the highly concentrated gases and sparks react together and pop, making an explosion. Sou can use both his hands in these explosions. In essence, he can manipulate oxygen density to produce explosions of varying intensities.
Currently, the range at which the 'explosion' exntends itself is limited to a few feet infront of him because of his inexperience in using his quirk, making him around the small-mid range category of quirk range.
[SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES]Propel - Sou places his hands backwards and snaps his fingers, the following explosion 'propelling' him forward and giving him starting momentum. He can use this ability to jump high heights or just to give him speed for a devastating punch. This ability, however, is not perfected as frequent use of it wear and tears at his muscles, and even further use, his bones.
Cascading explosions - Sou snaps his fingers in quick succession, drowning everything in his targeted area in a 'cascade' of explosions and flames. This technique is a double edged sword as he can also be caught and damaged by the ensuing explosions.
Natural durability - Due to the nature of his ability, with withstanding numerous amounts of explosions, his durability is something to be noted as he can withstand an admirable amount of pain more than the average person.
[LIMITS]Double edged sword - Since Sou does not have proper control, due to inexperience and lack of talent, he can be damaged and hurt by his own quirk. Since the explosions originate from him he does have recoil. Each explosion can and will push his muscles and bones to the limit, and continued use may result in collapsing. In the near future, if Sou does not properly control his quirk, in can result in the lost of proper body control and coordination as his muscles/bones are continually being damaged.
Explosions derive from Sou - The explosions come from his fingers, and travels (although impressively fast) towards the intended target. Hence, there is a constant, in that, you can always expect it to start from Sou. As such, if there is a barrier in between him and his intended target (wall or likewise) the explosions can cease.
Weather - In very humid weathers (such as rain) can be a hindrance to his powers as it is difficult to produce a spark in between his fingers. The rainwater also causes his explosions to lose power.
