@sassy1085 I mean, its not like she can't learn them. So. I would say you can do what @FourthKing did and list them as unlearned and under the proper rank. We can PM later about how they would go about learning them. For now, I want our characters to focus more on relationship building anyways so the combat skills will be used only sparingly.
@FourthKingYin release, since your character is from the Nara clan, is fine. However, I would limit the use of the C-ranked skill until later. Otherwise, so far so good on the WIP~
@sassy1085Real quick on your sheet. I'm ok with a Hyuga being in the game for sure. The byakugan that comes with that as well. However, the two eight trigrams techniques are typically only taught to the main branch of the family. Since you put in that she does not like the main branch of the family, this causes me to think that she is not from the main house and thus would have a real hard time learning the technique. In the main series, Neji learned them. However, it was also said that he is simply a genius. Unless you want to put your characters as his level, in which I would need a lot of convincing, I would say that she can learn those techniques, but definitely not at this stage of the game.

[indent]Like the title suggests, this is a Naruto-based roleplay set just before the Fourth Shinobi war. This roleplay will take place in an alternate universe where legendary ninjas can still surface but titular and other major characters from the original manga/anime will not. In the short term, I would like this roleplay to focus on character development and relationship building. Long term, I would like this roleplay to evolve into a multi-arc project where players can freely submit their ideas to the GMs and carry out stories that not only further their own character development but the roleplay as a whole as well.
General Rules
Way of the Shinobi
As a GM, I'm always open for discussions and healthy debate. Please feel free to bring any ideas/feedback/suggestions up to either myself or any of my Co-GMs. This is my first time GM-ing an extensive roleplay in quite something so I will need help along they way for sure. I also ask you to follow the basic rules of no God modding, power playing, or anything of that nature. Please avoid one liners. I would like all the players to give their partners something substantial to reply to. If you are that stuck with it, please ask us for help or guidance. Try not to double post, especially in IC. This simply creates chaos and perhaps some other unforeseen situations so lets just avoid it all together. If you and another player are going into extensive interaction and would require a back-and-forth in replies, please take it to a PM or google docs. Just notify the GMs and reserve a post in the IC where one of you can throw the post back in when the interaction is finished.
This roleplay may have mature scenes and content. Violence is going to be present. However, deaths needs to be brought up to the GMs and all parties involved in the scene must agree. No exceptions. As the age of our character will most likely be in the early teens, please keep interactions age appropriate. I think you all know what I mean by that. Please be considerate of your fellow roleplayer and as well as the guild rules about these type of things. I, along with my Co-GMs, are always open to potential plot ideas. We highly encourage discussion, creativity, and most of all, a fun environment for everyone.

Quick update. In an effort to keep the RP rolling and story progressing, we will move the plot forward every two days. We believe that this is plenty of time to at least notify us if you're being held up by something in real life or some other event is preventing you from having a reply. So, for this point forward, we will stick to a schedule of posting every two days unless we are notified, at which point a GM will notify the board of the situation. Also, as a reminder, please @ the person that is behind you in the posting order so they get notification about posting as well~
Also, another heads up. I think I'll make this an AU, just prior to the Fourth war. Legendary ninjas can still surface for war reasons. But people like Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and all that are not present.
I mean. We can run a tradition squad which is three people, but that would leave two people out... So. I think we would have to go unconventional here with that. Until more people join, then we can split up the teams.

Genin is fine. We would most likely have to make NPC senseis' and just occasionally bring them into the interaction. I want the RP to focus on the interaction between player controlled characters, for obvious reason lol~
