Those are pretty much my go to's, but I'm willing to hear out any idea and think about it!
Here's an example of my writing to give you a sense of my "skill" I guess... I keep trying to get better and better so bear with me!
Benjamin West woke up to a loud alarm, and the sun shining through the window and into his eyes. groaned a little as he hit the snooze button, and fell back down onto his pillow. It was an almost perfect plan, until he heard running down the hall and a small voice. "Daddy! Dad wake up!" Ben's daughter Jamie knocked on his door, and continued down the hall to wake her brother up too.
Ben got out of the bed, running a hand through his messy brown hair before drawing the curtains to view the beautiful Virginia forest. He walked across to the room to a nightstand with a picture of a beautiful woman holding a small boy, with the brightest smile in the world. "Buongiorno mio amore" He muttered, touching the picture lightly before walking into the bathroom, getting ready for the day.
Minutes later he came down the stairs dressed in a dark blue sweater, some worn jeans and sneakers. He didn't have a traditional job in the morning, but he did have the all-time job of being a dad. He made his way into the kitchen, a traditional style that Maria helped remodel. Jamie was sitting at the island, finishing some of her homework. Ben rubbed his hand on her head, and walked to the kitchen. "What will it be, Little One? Pancakes? Cereal, eggs?" He asked, turning on the stove.
"Just cereal..." Jamie replied, hard at work. "Just cereal, you got it... Hey, is Marco up? Marco!" Ben yelled, walking to the pantry to receive some cereal. "Daddy, you're still going to help today, right?" Jamie asked. "Yeah, yeah... wait, help with what?" He asked, handing his daughter a bowl and pouring milk in.
"The school fair is today, and you promised to help, remember?" He had been going through so much recently with the legal papers and Marco acting up in school, that he had forgotten all about the fair! "Yeah, I remember sweetheart... I'll be there. Marco! Hurry up, don't make me come up there!"
A couple seconds later Ben's oldest, Marco walked down, not saying a word, only grabbing a bagel from the kitchen counter. "You get your work done, Big Guy? I'm not going to get a note to sign tonight for bad behavior?" Ben asked, looking over at him as he helped Jamie put things in her backpack. Marco shook his head. "Can we go now? We're going to be late."
"Well maybe if someone came down on time we shouldn't be. Come on sweetheart. Everyone in the car! You all got your lunches, right?"
----
The car rides to school were not the most heartfelt and happiest. It was debating on what to listen to on the radio, mixed with passive aggressive remarks from Marco, to Ben giving a speech on how he needs to help out and grow up. When they parked in front of the school, Marco immediately left without saying a word. "Yeah, Love you too!" Ben yelled after him, getting out of the car to help Jamie out. "Alright Little one, when does your fair start?"
"Five o'clock. But volunteers need to be there an hour early to set things up."
"Four o'clock. Got it. And... what did you sign me up to do, exactly?"
"I don't know, the school figures that out, I just put you on the list!"
"Alright, mio amore, I'll be there. Have a good day, I love you." He gave her a kiss on the forehead before letting her go off to her class. He stood next to his car, watching her meet up with her friends. She didn't seem as embarrassed of him as Marco was, it was probably because she was letting him cope with this all. She was a smart girl, too smart if you asked him.
He looked next to him to see a couple of parents (especially mothers) staring over at him. He was famous in a sense, he made a lot of interviews and did a lot of crazy things on his old show that many people would see him as a perfect human being... But he didn't feel that at all. He gave an awkward smile and wave to the crowd, getting into the car before any of them could dive into small talk. He didn't hate talking to people, it was just... difficult. Especially right now.
He would probably do what he did every day. He would call some buddies he had that were still talking about a new season for his show (and politely turn them down), clean the house, and then apparently help at this school fair. It was a change of pace from what he used to do, but this was still just as challenging.
If you have any questions about my RP's, or future ones just shoot me a PM!
All of these people are amazing writers and friends and if you happen to RP with them consider yourself lucky! XD
and for a final note: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HOBBY, NOT A CHORE! I never want to put pressure on you, or myself and make any RP feel like you NEED to post, or have to force yourself to write. This is supposed to be fun, and I'll do anything to make sure it feels that way :)
Steve was immediately brought to the side by Maria. "Are you sure you can keep these guys occupied?" Steve asked. As he turned around Banner and Stark were already talking, walking towards the lab overlooking the penthouse. Thor on the other hand was clearly in thought. On what, Steve didn't know. He wasn't of this world, but he cared for earth very much. Right now, though, this was Steve's fight. He crashed down in the Arctic thinking that he took HYDRA down for good. With Arnim Zola being brought back in to things, and his old camp, he felt like he had some unfinished business. Maria shrugged. "I'll keep them busy. Just find out whats over there." She said. Steve gave a nod and smile before walking off. "And Rogers!" Steve stopped and turned to look back at Hill. "Be careful, we don't know what you'll find there." She said rather softly. Steve nodded once more, and with that went to the locker room.
He was once again stopped by the sound of someone tapping on glass. Looking up at where the noise was, Tony was waving him to come up. He quickly walked up to see Tony and Bruce working on something, but soon swiping it away. "Steve. We got a present for you." Stark said with a smile. Steve raised his eyebrows, curious. "What do you mean?"
"Well, I couldn't sleep last night. This whole, SHIELD conspiracy and that Winter Soldier guy... Anyway, I made some modifications to our suits. I started off with yours, and by the time you all get back, we will all have little features to help." A hologram of his suit popped up, and the forearm lit up. "We put a magnet on your forearm that only attracts your shield. So if you happen to loose it in battle, just give your glove a little squeeze, and you'll have your shield fly back towards you... oh, and we added a bit more padding in your suit. After seeing what that metal armed guy carries, we don't need our 'glorious leader' to fall..." Tony said the last part sarcastically, but had a warm smile. "Hurry up and figure this out so the rest of us can play."
----------
Steve Rogers wore his red white and blue suit, holding his helmet in his hand, and putting the shield on his back. He looked at his left forearm where the magnets were places, flexing his hand to see how it worked as he stood in front of the driver's door of the Hummer. He immediately looked up when he saw Sharon walk by, giving a "hello" as she climbed in to the car. "I call shotgun." Sam said as he walked towards the car, eyeing it. "Man, the best of the Avengers, eh?" He said.
"Well we usually take a giant jet, but with the cost of fuel nowadays and SHIELD trying to stay low..." Steve trailed off, and Sam shrugged in agreement. "Well, lets get this show on the road."
Everyone soon climbed in to the Hummer, Steve being the last to go in. As soon as he got in, Sharon asked him what to expect, and to be honest, he really didn't know. It had been over 70 years since he's seen the place, and he looked a lot different as well. But he sat down, giving a sigh. "From what I know, it was mostly used as a training facility, specifically for the Super Soldier project." Steve closed the door to the car, and hit the wall to indicate they were ready to move out, and soon the car went to life, and started to drive out of the underground garage, and in the Streets of Manhattan, heading for New Jersey. "Looking at the pictures of the place, its run down, forgotten... But if I this place is the prime suspect to find this Winter Soldier guy, then who knows what we'll find. Just stay alert.
The ride was a long one, and as they all sat tense, and ready to be there, Sam spoke up. "So... Rumor has it that no one can lift Thor's hammer expect him. Is that true?" Sam and Brock looked at Clint, Natasha, and Steve for a response, and they looked at each other. "Yeah, its true. But Cap over here made it move a bit." Natasha said with a smile, Steve only smiled and shook his head. "Nah i didn't, it was a late night, most of drank too much, and tried to lift the hammer. Nothing happened." Steve said with a nod. "Whoeverso holds this hammer,is of pure heart, is worthy to be Thor' or whatever. None of us were worthy." Clint said in a Thor impression, making a few of them smirk. "So has he ever left it on a toilet seat, or something weird like that to mess with you guys?"
"No, not yet, and don't give him any ideas. The last thing we need is him finding another way to mess with us." Clint said with a fake stern voice, making the car laugh. For a moment the mood was light, like they weren't going to try and hunt down a killer. The talk was short, and light. Occasional questions popped up on whether or not what they expected to find at an abandoned military base, but the only real way to find out was to go there themselves.
After a long road trip, they were there. Steve climbed out first, his helmet on, shield on his hand. He glanced around at the scenery. The abandoned and run down fort was surrounded by a thick forest, the gate still in tact but rusting. The buildings were old, with moss and vines growing on the side of the brick walls, and out the windows. An old flag pole stood near the entrance, the flag blowing dimly in the wind. The sun was low in the sky. They spent the whole day driving, but all of them were wide awake, alert.
Steve walked to the locked gate, and with a quick swipe of his shield, the lock broke, and the gate opened. Steve was having a hard time being here. It brought back a lot of memories. The team all walked in, the place very quiet. Steve noticed the field where he and his fellow soldiers would do their morning push ups (Steve would always be on the verge of vomiting after the workout). He saw his old barracks, the track they would run for hours, and the place he first met Peggy Carter. He looked at it all, his spine shivering a bit.
"Hey, you alright?" Sam's voice said, looking at Steve with concern. Steve nodded. "yeah... Just a huge sense of deja vu." He looked at Sharon for comfort for a second or two, finding ease in seeing her face, but knew he had to look away before looking a bit too suspicious to the rest of the team.
The team started to walk carefully around the base, but it didn't take long for Steve to notice something out of the ordinary. "Regulations state that firearm bunkers aren't supposed to be this close to the Barracks..." Steve said out loud, walking to the steel door, and with a bit of ease, kicked the door right open, the sunlight revealing a much cleaner and fresher floor, and Steve was sure that this place was built much later after World War II ended. Steve looked at the group. "Found our first clue. You guys ready?"
Of course Peter was joking when he said that Nova's suit probably could heal his new burns. He felt pretty good about that remark... That was until both of them walked out of their rooms at the exact same time, him wearing his sleek armor that probably swooned the ladies. Peter rolled his eyes and started to walk down the hall, his Walkman in his hand. "So, an asteroid field, eh?" Rick asked. Peter shrugged as Rick started to walk next to him. "They happen." Peter answered simply. After a little pause, Rick spoke up again. "You know, she's off limits. Being royalty and all." He said casually. Peter looked over at him, then back down the hall. "I mean, you're a potential candidate, with you being this Prince of Spartans or whatever." Peter didn't say anything. "Although, i could be a candidate too. Since she's half human from Earth... What's with that dinosaur?" He reached for the walkman that Peter was holding but he moved it away from him, and then put his forearm to his neck, pushing him against the wall. Rick only grinned. "Assaulting an officer is a criminal offense, Quill... You're just proving my point." He said quietly.
Peter let go just when Rocket walked by them, a smirk on his face, looking at both of them. "Morning, Boys." he said, walking off. The two looked at him, then back at each other, then went in to the kitchen again to see Nikki holding a new sword. Both expressions looked a bit confused. then shocked. They both looked back at where Rocket walked away, then at Nikki. Peter walked over to the wall with the cassette player, "Spirit in the Sky" starting to play.
"Alright, I'll take over from here, Princess." Quill said with a smile, taking the pan with potatoes in it gently from her hand. "If anyone knows how to make some good hashbrowns, its me." Quill said. "Hash-ed Browns again? What is it with you humans and your love for that root?" Drax said, walking in, seeing the blade on the counter. "Where did you get this? That is from my personal collection." He said, glaring at everyone. Just when Rocket was going to walk in, he quickly turned on his heel, and left rather quickly.
It was official. Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter were no longer on the market. Steve never looked at any other person the same way he did Sharon ever since he first met her, but now that they set it in stone, he had much more of a reason not to. Her words were music to his ears, and he had no problem sealing this with a kiss. He leaned forward, and their lips enveloped with each other. This time it felt even better than before.
As much as he didn't like it, Steve left for his room a bit later. He didn't want to impose on staying any longer, and he didn't want to somehow get caught. He knew they both needed their rest for the events tomorrow. They were finally going to get some answers on this Winter Soldier. Steve watched the city below for a while, though. His mind thinking about so many things. How far deep does this security breach go? Who was in on it? Why did they attack him, and Sharon? Who was this Winter Soldier? Then of course the thought of Sharon went through his mind. How she almost died because of this guy. Twice. He didn't know how, or when, but Steve Rogers was going to make sure this guy is caught.
----
The next morning felt tense. It was finally the day that Nick Fury was going to debrief them, and tell them everything he found out about this recent compromise. Steve was one of the first up. There was no way that he would be able to go outside for his morning run, so the next best thing was Stark's gym. He spent a while in there, trying to ease his mind, waiting for the call to come back up to the penthouse to finally get in to action. The time went on, though. The more there was no word from Fury, the more frustrated Steve got. He was starting to lose his patience. That was until Jarvis' voice came through the speakers. "Captain Rogers, you are needed back upstairs." The voice said. Steve sighed, grabbing a towel and wiping off his forehead as he made his way back up to the penthouse on the top floor.
He was confronted by the whole crew sitting down, glancing over at him. Tony was right next to Sharon, he's probably been trying to flirt with her for god knows how long. Little did he know, that she was officially in a relationship. Rogers walked towards the group, the towel around his neck, still in his workout attire. The frowned slightly though when he saw that Nick Fury was not here. Instead, there was Maria Hill. "Glad to see you put on your Sunday best, Rogers." Maria said, standing in front of everyone. Steve didn't bother coming up with anything, anyone who knew Maria Hill knew that she was at times much scarier than Nick Fury.
"Where's Fury?" Stark decided to ask, arms crossed against his glowing chest. "He won't be joining us today, he has been held up. But that doesn't mean we aren't starting in finding out all we can." This made everyone uneasy. There had to be a very good reason why Fury wasn't here. The glass screen that was Stark's television came to life. "I'd like to start by saying every single one of you in this room are trusted with this information. No one outside, not even coworkers, will know about this." She said before standing up a bit more straight.
"The SHIELD building was blown up by a chemical bomb near the foundation of the building. From the inside." Maria said. "Our resources say they were there for two different reasons. One was to recover a chemical that Agent 13 stole... And the other reason was to eliminate Agent 13." She said casually. Everyone turned to look at Sharon, then back at Maria.
"Upon further investigation, we are also certain that a man codenamed the Winter Soldier was at the scene as well." Natashia and Clint seemed to move a bit uneasy. "After Captain Rogers encountered him, there was no other sign of him..."
"While investigating possible containment breaches, we came across the name 'Arnim Zola'" After Maria said that name, Rogers stepped forward. "He was Red Skull's second in command. Why is he being brought up now?" Steve asked.
"Good question. We dug as deep as we could, and before unknown security safeguards pushed us out, we got some coordinates." The screen turned to a picture of a run down military base, with a weathered steel sign in front of a rusted gate with the words 'Camp Lehigh' printed on it. Once again, Steve furrowed his eyebrows. "That's the camp I was trained at..." Steve said quietly. Once again Maria nodded. "We don't know why, but it seems that our only lead to the mole in our system is here. There's been a few instances of electronic frequency here in the last few decades, which is suspicious since this place hasn't had running electricty since the 40's. Fury wants a team lead by Rogers to go check this place out, since he's the most familiar with the Zola, and this base."
Everyone's attention turned to Steve, where he simply nodded. "And Fury has also added two new agents in to this roster, but they only need to know the basics..." Maria warned as the doors to the elevator opened. In came two people Steve knew rather well. The first one was Brock Rumlow. He was a very skilled covert-ops SHIELD Agent who has saved Steve's life more than once on field missions. He gave a smile and nod to Steve as he walked in. The other person was one he also met recently, but became close friends with.
Sam Wilson was a man Steve met right after the battle of New York. He had medical treatment in Washington DC, and one of the people assigned in the same room was Sam. He was a war vet who lost his field partner in a mission gone bad. He was also covert-ops, but for the United States Army. Sam kept Steve sane in that place, with laughs and joking around. Besides Sharon, he was truly the only person who treated him like a guy, and not a walking legend. They also boxed together, and Wilson can throw a mean jab.
"Captain. Nice to meet you again." Brock said with a small salute. Steve returned it. Same gave a look around the room, went wide eyed for a bit, then looked at Steve. "Hey, man. How're you doing?" He asked with a smile. Steve shrugged. "I'm doing alright, still recovering from the bruise you gave me after that mean upper cut to the jaw." Steve said jokingly, making Sam laugh. "yeah, you gotta watch out for the 'Wilson Combo'" He said jokingly, then turned to the rest of the crowd. "Uh... wow. First time I've been in a room with a god, billionaire, and well... every other badass in the country." Wilson with, giving a wave and smile to everyone.
"So, Cap, Hill, what do the rest of us do while Steve's party goes out?" Stark asked. "Whoever doesn't accompany Rogers on his mission will stay here, and if I hear anything else from Fury, will give you your own work to do."
"Alright. Sharon, Natasha, Clint, Suit up. We're going to take a little drive to Jersey." Rogers said, pointing to all the SHIELD operatives. he knew that every single one of these people want to know about the truth just as much as he did. It would be unfair to have them sit out. He then turned to Brock and Sam. "You two got your suits too?" Rogers asked. Both nodded. "We're ready when you are."
Steve smiled and blushed a bit when she showed interest in the picture. He let her look at it closely, running a hand through his hair. He took the picture back, and when asked what else he could do, he simply shrugged. "Well, I can't get rid of all my secrets, Miss Carter." Steve put aside the notebook and took a position next to Sharon. "I heard that with time, people start to know each other's secrets when they're in a relationship--" Steve stopped what he was saying. He gave a nervous laugh. "I mean, if we were in a relationship, I didn't meant to say that, or... assume that we were...Sorry." Steve started to ramble, and soon started to trip on his own words.
He guessed they never announced that they couldn't see anyone else... Or how long this would last. Steve never thought of it that way, though. As he's said a lot of times, he has never been in a relationship, and what he had with Sharon was the closest thing to one. He liked the thought of Sharon being his girlfriend, even if they couldn't publicly announce it... but he didn't want to jump in to conclusions. He liked to think that she liked the idea too... Now there was no avoiding the conversation, right?
Steve liked the feel of her hands on his chest, the breath on his neck, and the smell of her hair. When asked if he was concerned about these circumstances, he shook his head, looking over at Sharon as she did to him, returning the smile. "Not one bit." Steve said, leaning over to kiss her yet again. In that moment, Steve got an idea. "Hold this thought, I'll be right back." Steve sat up, and very quietly, left the room to go get something from his...
Steve came back holding a notebook and a pencil, closing the door and making sure it was locked. "Alright, I need you to stay still for a little bit. Its a surprise, and you just gotta trust me." Steve said, a small smile on his face as he sat down in front of Sharon. Steve had a lot of little secrets and hobbies. Very little people knew that Steve was actually a skillful artist... He liked to keep that a secret. No one really would expect someone like him to be able to draw rather well. He liked to do it in his past time, and he's been wanting to draw something specific for a long time now. Now was their chance.
While Steve started drawing, the two started talking lightly. Jokes, Steve yet again discussing on how disappointed he was that the Brooklyn Dodgers moved to San Diego (and how he hated the Yankees). And not before long, his drawing was finished. "Alright, it isn't as good as the real thing... but its not bad." Steve said quietly, a bit nervous if she would appreciate it. He turned the notepad around to show the sketch of Sharon, a very realistic one at that. Steve gave another weak smile. "Lay it on me, Don't hold back." Steve said with a laugh, still holding the notepad.
Peter obviously went after Nikki. He had a thing or two to say to this "Nova" guy, and it probably would end with a fist fight and someone being thrown out in to space. Hew as about to burst through the door until he heard the two talking. He was behind a corner, listening to what the man was saying, and every word made him hate the guy even more.... Wait. Was he... making a move on Nikki?! Oh, that wasn't going to happen. Not one bit. Peter wasn't the man he thought he was, and his friends sure as hell weren't either. Peter walked away a few seconds before their conversation ended.
He was confronted soon by Gamora. "Don't let him get to your head. We have nothing to prove to anyone except ourselves." she said flatly, but very gently. Peter nodded. "yeah, I know." She stared at him, tilting her head. "You're thinking of something. Normally i would say don't piss off Nova Prime, but..." She casually shrugged. "As long as it doesn't hurt him." Gamora trailed off, then walking for her room. "I'm just going to kill him with kindness..." Peter said before walking off towards his room as well.
---
Peter thought about it all night. He was going to show that he wasn't a womanizer anymore. He was going to show he was doing things more for money, and he was not afraid of anything. Starting off by making the crew some breakfast. He had saved a last few potatoes in his reserves. Believe it or not, they were rare. it seemed that humans were the only ones who really enjoyed the taste. He got up, wearing his usual attire, his blue athletic shirt, ravenger pants and boots. He walked towards the kitchen area of the ship, and as soon as the door opened, the smell of potatoes filled the air.
He was shocked, no, bewildered that Nova Prime was cooking in HIS ship with HIS potatoes with Nikki right next to her. He totally stole his idea! Rick turned to see Quill, and gave a smile before looking at the food again. "Morning, Star-Lord." He said, obviously being a smartass. Quill said nothing at first, he walked towards the food. He used all of the potatoes. "Glad to see you're... being of use i guess..." Peter muttered, running a hand through his hair.
"Well, I'd just like to show the Guardians how much I appreciate this... and I'm sure its been a while since the Princess has gotten a good meal without raccoon hair in it." Rick said casually. Peter tried hard not to clench his fist. "Well, that's good... Don't you have a ship or something to move your personals out of? so you can spend all of your time in the peacefulness that's your room, by yourself...?" Peter asked, leaning on the table. Rick shook his head. "Nope, my Nova Prime suit lets me fly through space just as fast as your ship, and lets me breathe. All of my personal stuff is already with me... And I'm not much of a private person, I always like to have company..." He looked over at Nikki with a smile, then at Quill.
Peter rolled his eyes, walking towards the stairs that lead to the cockpit. "I'm going to check if we're still on course..." He muttered.
Rick gave a shrug, tending to the potatoes more. "He seemed a bit upset. Still not used to another member." Nova said. Just then, the ship took a sharp turn, the hot grease from the pan hitting Nova on his chest. He screamed in pain, letting out a few colorful words. Peter came back down the stairs, a much brighter smile on his face as he saw Nova. "Sorry, we hit some turbulence in an an Asteroid field... Ah, man, got burned?" Peter asked, not really caring but pretending to. "I'm sure your space suit can heal you just fine."
With that, Peter walked back towards his room. He needed to think of something else to show Nikki he's changed. Rick gave a glare at him as he walked by. So, if Peter Quill wants a challenge, he will definitely get one.
Raymond looked over at Danny when she talked, her response a normal one, not really noticing how slowly she was talking. "Yeah, that's the way it seems to work. Always something popping up." Ray shrugged, knowing all too well that that was his life. Always something popping up to screw them over. It was life, and Raymond was good at putting up a good fight. Ray then noticed that he was now walking by himself. Danny was too busy looking across the street. Ray walked back towards her, staring at the new crowd. The only time this happened since he's been here was when Danny was singing.
Raymond was curious, so when Danny asked if he wanted to check it out, he gave a nod, and together they walked forward. The closer the two got to the crowd, the more and more creepy the scene became. The crowd was muttering things that Raymond couldn't understand, but in the center of the circle they made, were three figures. Two people, a man and a woman, were standing over another man, who seemed to be crying. The two standing over him were glaring, whispering harsh things that again, Raymond couldn't understand. What he did understand was that the two started to kick him.
Raymond tore through the circle, walking up to them. "Hey... Hey! Back off! Stop! Hey!" Raymond yelled. The two didn't respond to him, and continued to kick the man on the ground. Raymond pushed away the man and woman, their whispers becoming louder. "Worthless" Was what Raymond heard coming from their mouths. The two kept coming back to kick him until Raymond pushed harder, making them fall as well.
The only sound now was the man on the ground crying. Except he wasn't crying, he was laughing. It was a maniac's laughter, like the ones you hear in the movies when someone has completely lost it. He was curled up, laughing. Raymond leaned down next to him, seeing if he was alright. "W-we're all d-d-dead..." The man cackled, rubbing his head in the ground. Raymond gently put his hand on the man's shoulder, and as soon as he made contact, the laughing got louder. "Dead dead dead..." The man said softly.
Raymond swallowed hard, his mind telling him to get the hell away from this man. "Hey, are you alri--" He was cut off by the man shooting upward, his face now inches from Raymond's. "WE ARE ALL DEAD!" The man screamed with another fit of laughter. He put his hands on Raymond's shirt, and started banging. "It's all worthless! There's no hope, this town won't let us! Its Hell" He screamed at him, then looking at everyone else. Raymond pushed him back hard, backing away until he hit the legs of the people surrounding them. Ray then backed away from them, scrambling to his feet. He yet again felt hands on his shoulders, turning to see the crazed man again. "We might as well kill each other now, eh? End the suffering!"
Raymond pushed, but the man wouldn't budge. In a desperate effort Raymond punched the man, with Raymond being much bigger, the man flew back on the ground, laughing again. "yes, th-the pain feels...." he gave a weak chuckle. "There's no way out... Terry is Hell..." He muttered, cackling again. Raymond stared at him, backing out of the circle looking around at the people now staring at him. Raymond's heart was racing, his breaths heavy. What the hell was wrong with these people?! What did the man mean with all of this bullshit?Forget the souvenir shop, he wanted to get out of here. Now!
Robert gave a laugh at her book comment, and then he listened when talking about her friend, the homeless man he pretended to be just to see her. He nodded, and reached for the food on her desk, his stomach doing flips of joy. He started to eat, trying not to stare at Marian as she sat on her desk. He knew if he made eye contact with her he would start to stumble for words. The coffee wasn't the warmest, and the doughnut wasn't the freshest, but it was still much better than starving to death. When asked about him and his father, he shook his head, giving a shrug. "No, not any trouble at all... I explained to him about how we were on a 'not date', we talked a bit about the case I'm working on... Oh, and he also said that if i planned on taking you on any more 'not dates' that i should tell him first." Robert said the last part rather quickly, and then stuffed his face with the doughnut.
"I don't think he understands the terms of 'not dates' and that they don't usually happen often." Robert said with a smirk, then taking a large gulp of the coffee. It was warm enough for him to gulp down without burning the inside of his mouth. Before he could say another word though, a knock came from the door.
"Hey Locksley, I someone-- oh, am I interrupting something?" One of their coworkers said at the doorway, Robert wiped the food off his mouth, and shook his head. "No, you weren't. What's up?"
"Well, we have someone at the police station in lock up. Says she won't talk to anyone or have anyone backing her up except you." He said.
"Look, I'm flattered and all, but I've got the Robin Hood case, and a whole pile of other cases that I haven't even started to think about--"
"She said you would help her once you know who she was."
"Is the the Queen of England?" Robert asked sarcastically, his arms folded, curious on who this person was. "No, she says she's your cousin."
Robert had the weirdest look on his face. He hadn't talked to anyone in his family for years. He hadn't even considered his family outside of his mom and dad. Why would he expect anything different from the rest of them? He slowly nodded, pointing towards the door. "I... Okay. I'll be right over..." He said, looking at Marian to give a "I gotta go" look, then walking out of the room to grab his jacket (he had to buy a new one since Marian took 'Robin Hood's'), and started for the police department.
--------------
"I'm not telling you anything until my lawyer comes."
"Alright, alright! I get it."
"Yeah, it won't be the only thing you'll get once you see who my uncle is... Ah, there he is! Hey Robin!"
Robert Locksley walked in to an interrogation room to see a classic style detective glaring at the 17 year old girl sitting down with handcuffs on. She hard Robert's dark green eyes (a family trait), with the same twinkle of mischief. She was also beautiful, and she knew it, as she was a young adult. She had tanned skin, her hair was light brown, with natural streaks of blonde and in a messy (but perfect) pony tail. She wore a green hoodie, jeans, and some converse. She gave Robert a large smile, but it was obviously fake.
"Cassandra..." Robert said, returning the smile. He knew she hated being called by her full name. "Its Cassie." She replied pleasantly, looking at the detective. "Right... So, detective, what has my client done?" Robert asked, placing his suitcase down on the table, and taking a seat next to his cousin. "From what we know she took a couple hundred dollars worth of clothes from a shop in the mall." He said, looking at her. She pointed her finger. "I allegedly stole, I was never caught with stolen items" She corrected him. The detective looked over at Robert.
"Did you find the stolen merchandise on her person?" Robert asked. The detective hesitated. "Well.. We checked the security footage, and we didn't see her with the items... But the manager did see her walking out with an unusually formed hoodie, and upon further investigation, some of their inventory went missing. We caught her minutes later walking down the street."
"So you didn't see her take clothes on the cameras, you didn't catch her with the stolen items, and you still think you can arrest her?" Robert asked, his eyebrows raised. "You do not have credible evidence to have her in custody at the moment, detective. I understand she's your only suspect, but do we really need to keep this kid in here for 24 hours? Honestly, she wouldn't last a day." Robert said, muttering the last part, but Cassie looked offended.
The detective looked at Cassie again, clearly not buying that she was innocent, but he knew he had nothing on her, and he knew that Robert Locksley was not a guy to go head to head against. "Alright... But don't think about leaving the city for now, Miss Locksley. If we have any new evidence, you'll be the first we find." Cassie smiled and nodded as the handcuffs were unlocked, and then she looked up at her cousin.
"Thank you, detective. Have a nice day." Robert said, and with that, they left the office.
---------------
"You know, last time I saw you, you were an adorable little girl--"
"I can explain--"
"Who ran around the house pretending to be a dinosaur or whatever--"
"I was a lizard-man..."
"Trying to 'eat' her brothers. What the hell happened?"
The two were walking down the street, Robert leading the way while Cassandra Locksley followed close behind. "I was just trying to--"
"Do your parents know you're here?"
"Yeah, but--"
"Good, lets call them! And get you home before you get in any more trouble!"
"Yeah... The thing is... I kinda told them I got back in touch with you recently and you invited me to New York to see all the colleges out here and to have a little reunion with your favorite cousin." She said quickly and looking up at him. Robert stopped and stared at her, totally at a loss of words. "Why on Earth would you tell them that?" Robert asked. "This isn't how you meet up after years of not talking!"
"I just wanted to... Look, you know how our family is! I needed to get away! To hang out with someone i remember being totally chill! And I heard about these Merry Men guys-- I wanted to see what they were about... That's why i kinda stole from the rich, and gave to the poor... To kinda do a good deed here..."
Great. His cousin was a fan of his criminal alter ego. "No. You're going back home."
"come on Robin! Just let me stay with you for a week or two! I promise I'll look at colleges...! Or I can always call up Uncle Ted--"
That made Robert stop in his tracks. "You wouldn't." Robert said, staring at her. She gave a smile. "My family and your dad have been close while you were gone. Still a huge ass, but I'm sure he can convince you to letting me stay. Or we can call that one girl that you totally loved, I'm sure I can find her work number here and tell her so many embarrassing moments." Robert stared at her for a minute, then let out a groan. "Fine. Fine. You can stay with me. But I have a lot of rules to go over, and we need to stop by my work. Then you call your parents, and tell them you're okay. Rule number one: I'm the sassy and attractive Locksley in the family, so no backtalking me. Rules Number two..."
----
"Why is that even a rule? I'm 17, I know how and when to dial 911."
"Yeah, but... Look, I've never taken care of someone else before, alright? I'm just laying out the basics."
"yeah, because 'No making noise before 9 in the morning because I need the appropriate hours of sleep' is a totally basic rule. Oh, and my personal favorite: 'If anyone weird looking walks in to the apartment, they are most likely troubled clients so don't talk to them'"
"yeah, Look, just sit here while I get some files from my office... Then we'll, go get something to eat, and catch up or something." Robert said before running a hand through his hair and walking towards his office. Cassie took a seat in the large room, looking around at the lawyers and other employees walking through the firm. She looked around, then got up to see what she could find. What? She was curious! It was her first time in New York! She tried her best to sneak along, and pretending to act casual as people passed by, and while trying so hard to not get caught, she accidentally bumped in to someone, falling to the ground. "I-I'm really sorry, Miss!" Cassie said, standing up.
And as for the story, I'm totally cool with drama, horror, plot twists, etc! hahaha I'd love to hear any of your ideas, and if I have any, I'll tell you mine!
I did thin, it'd be cool to have some of these townspeople going absolutely insane, and they do some weird, creepy, or scary stuff haha, like people trying to kill themselves and no one seems to be surprised or scared by it

But like I said I love it when people contact me and ask if I want to RP with them, or have an idea and want my skills, and odds are I love the same thing, so If anyone wants to collab just shoot me a PM!
