Those are pretty much my go to's, but I'm willing to hear out any idea and think about it!
Here's an example of my writing to give you a sense of my "skill" I guess... I keep trying to get better and better so bear with me!
Benjamin West woke up to a loud alarm, and the sun shining through the window and into his eyes. groaned a little as he hit the snooze button, and fell back down onto his pillow. It was an almost perfect plan, until he heard running down the hall and a small voice. "Daddy! Dad wake up!" Ben's daughter Jamie knocked on his door, and continued down the hall to wake her brother up too.
Ben got out of the bed, running a hand through his messy brown hair before drawing the curtains to view the beautiful Virginia forest. He walked across to the room to a nightstand with a picture of a beautiful woman holding a small boy, with the brightest smile in the world. "Buongiorno mio amore" He muttered, touching the picture lightly before walking into the bathroom, getting ready for the day.
Minutes later he came down the stairs dressed in a dark blue sweater, some worn jeans and sneakers. He didn't have a traditional job in the morning, but he did have the all-time job of being a dad. He made his way into the kitchen, a traditional style that Maria helped remodel. Jamie was sitting at the island, finishing some of her homework. Ben rubbed his hand on her head, and walked to the kitchen. "What will it be, Little One? Pancakes? Cereal, eggs?" He asked, turning on the stove.
"Just cereal..." Jamie replied, hard at work. "Just cereal, you got it... Hey, is Marco up? Marco!" Ben yelled, walking to the pantry to receive some cereal. "Daddy, you're still going to help today, right?" Jamie asked. "Yeah, yeah... wait, help with what?" He asked, handing his daughter a bowl and pouring milk in.
"The school fair is today, and you promised to help, remember?" He had been going through so much recently with the legal papers and Marco acting up in school, that he had forgotten all about the fair! "Yeah, I remember sweetheart... I'll be there. Marco! Hurry up, don't make me come up there!"
A couple seconds later Ben's oldest, Marco walked down, not saying a word, only grabbing a bagel from the kitchen counter. "You get your work done, Big Guy? I'm not going to get a note to sign tonight for bad behavior?" Ben asked, looking over at him as he helped Jamie put things in her backpack. Marco shook his head. "Can we go now? We're going to be late."
"Well maybe if someone came down on time we shouldn't be. Come on sweetheart. Everyone in the car! You all got your lunches, right?"
----
The car rides to school were not the most heartfelt and happiest. It was debating on what to listen to on the radio, mixed with passive aggressive remarks from Marco, to Ben giving a speech on how he needs to help out and grow up. When they parked in front of the school, Marco immediately left without saying a word. "Yeah, Love you too!" Ben yelled after him, getting out of the car to help Jamie out. "Alright Little one, when does your fair start?"
"Five o'clock. But volunteers need to be there an hour early to set things up."
"Four o'clock. Got it. And... what did you sign me up to do, exactly?"
"I don't know, the school figures that out, I just put you on the list!"
"Alright, mio amore, I'll be there. Have a good day, I love you." He gave her a kiss on the forehead before letting her go off to her class. He stood next to his car, watching her meet up with her friends. She didn't seem as embarrassed of him as Marco was, it was probably because she was letting him cope with this all. She was a smart girl, too smart if you asked him.
He looked next to him to see a couple of parents (especially mothers) staring over at him. He was famous in a sense, he made a lot of interviews and did a lot of crazy things on his old show that many people would see him as a perfect human being... But he didn't feel that at all. He gave an awkward smile and wave to the crowd, getting into the car before any of them could dive into small talk. He didn't hate talking to people, it was just... difficult. Especially right now.
He would probably do what he did every day. He would call some buddies he had that were still talking about a new season for his show (and politely turn them down), clean the house, and then apparently help at this school fair. It was a change of pace from what he used to do, but this was still just as challenging.
If you have any questions about my RP's, or future ones just shoot me a PM!
All of these people are amazing writers and friends and if you happen to RP with them consider yourself lucky! XD
and for a final note: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HOBBY, NOT A CHORE! I never want to put pressure on you, or myself and make any RP feel like you NEED to post, or have to force yourself to write. This is supposed to be fun, and I'll do anything to make sure it feels that way :)
Peter felt bad about Nikki, which was a weird concept for him. He rarely didn't feel bad for anyone... But as he has constantly told himself, there was something about this girl that was so much different than the rest of them. He was getting tired of her saying sorry. He got that she did trick him, and she did just use him in a way... But in her defense, he probably would have done the exact same thing. He liked to think they were all better than they used to be... But they all had their huge flaws. Peter just gave a glare to Rocket, not knowing if he was joking or not. He needed to talk to her. If she did this only to get away from those snooty and political pricks, then he had no problem with being used. In fact, it was rather sly.
Peter made his way to her room, and the doors slid opened. The sight of her curled up on a bed in a dress was the exact opposite of what she looked like when they first met. "I've thought about it a few times... Shooting you out in space." Peter said, giving a small smile on his face. "You gotta stop apologizing with us, Nikki. Because we of all people know what its like to screw up. When we first met Drax almost cut Gamora's head off, Rocket tried to collect me for a bounty, and I tried to sell something that Thanos really wanted... Then there was the times Rocket almost blew up the Ravager ship, Drax almost killed Gamora and I again by calling Ronin to where we were... The list goes on and on." Peter sat down on the corner of her bed. "After everything we've been through, you just proved that you fit right in with us. Not that high council bullcrap..."
"We all have our backstories. And everything Rick said was pretty spot on. We're a bunch of misfits. Criminals. People that don't belong... Losers." He paused for a second. "I mean, people who have lost stuff... And you would fit right in. If it means that we have to be 'married' for you to stay, then I'll pop the champagne and start the honey moon." Quill said with a smile, putting a hand gently on her leg. He was joking, of course. As they've stated, being a married couple wasn't a good thing to be... But Peter really liked the kissing, and the way she danced, and her loyalty to the Guardians.
Peter yet again was in a daze when Nikki pulled away, and looking over at the high council yet again. He gave a grin and nod to the people, but the short little one wasn't too happy to see Quill kissing Nikki. Go figure. But Peter was coming too, listening more to the conversation was going on. What were they talking about?
“Because I have a document right here that says I do not have to marry him.”
"Marriage?" Peter asked quietly, looking at everyone.
“Per the agreement though, I will have open contact and when there is a meeting I will return but, for now, per the laws; a wife is to stay with her husband.”
"Mettings? Wife? Husband...? Wait, Husband?"
The Nova came down to interrupt, and he seemed to know a lot more than Peter did, but that didn't stop him from holding Nikki just a bit closer, giving a smirk to him. It was as if he was protecting her from the guy.
“What do you mean he qualifies? Peter Quill is not royalty.”
"Uh oh." Peter said, the gears finally going in to place, and figuring out what was going on, but he was ignored. Rick went on to tell the council that Peter was in fact royalty, and "qualified" and heir to a throne that he had no intention of taking.
"Yeah, it was kind of a curve ball too the first time I heard it--" Peter began.
“I will see this gets documented in its proper place. Per the costumes of the planet, you are expected to be where your husband is. If we need to get a hold of you, we will reach out to the Milano.”
"Isn't there more to a marriage than signing papers? family permission? A ceremony... The groom having to know what's going on?" Peter called out.
He was soon being dragged in to the ship, the doors closing, and as soon as they did, Peter exploded. "You tricked me in to marrying you?!"
"Whoah! Quill just got married? What the hell?!"
"Congratulations, my friend!"
"don't congratulate him, you big oaf!" Gamora said to Drax. They obviously were listening to the whole thing.
Nikki began to ramble, and the more she talked, the calmer Quill got, but he was still a bit angry for this. "I would have pictured my marriage ceremony going a bit different there." Said Peter, looking at it. "You know, with suits and loved ones-- Okay, we don't have those. I guess it was an ideal marriage for someone like me." Peter admitted and shrugged, but then shook his head. "So... You chose me, the outlaw Ravager that is in the team of a dangerous group of people and a prince to a race that wouldn't hesitate to kill you, over Nova?" Peter asked her... He thought about it for a second, then smirked, and nodded. "the look on his face was priceless..." Peter muttered, then looked over at Nikki. "As much as the idea of having you of a wife is a really good thing, I don't think its our style right now, with being badass adventurers and all... How can you get us unhitched?"
The thought of having Nikki as a wife was a good one, but then again, they didn't even have a relationship before this except for one kiss, and a few little moments. Don't get him wrong, he wouldn't want anyone else to be tricked in to a marriage with, but they skipped a lot of steps in the "love" process.
The rest of the day for Robert wasn't as fun. Marian went to go have lunch with Guy, which he had faith was only to find out information on the guy because Robin Hood asked her to. He also kept thinking of ways to take out little information on Robin Hood's files so he doesn't get noticed too quickly. He went home early though, knowing Cassie might do something to try and find the Merry Men, and as he's said, he really doesn't want that.
The two were sitting on the couch, with members of the Merry Men coming and going. John was here for a little while, mostly to make sure Robin knew what he was doing, and now it was Gwen who liked to drop by from time to time. She was on her laptop, and before Robin got the text, Gwen made an "Uh" sound and looked up at him, holding back a smile. Then his phone went off, and it was Marian. Turns out she had some information already. Robert grinned a bit, getting up. "I just got a text from a client. Gotta go talk to them for a little while. I'll be back. Gwen, can you stick around?" He asked, going in his room.
"Yeah, its been a while since I've had a girls night." Gwen said, which made Robin roll his eyes jokingly. Robin soon left his room with a backpack, claiming files were in there, and he was off.
He replied with a short message "Walk in the Park sounds good. Ten minutes." Robin didn't want to do a disguise that made him appear as an old man. Instead, he was going with his Classic Robin Hood attire. A dark green hoodie with a black handkerchief around his mouth. The hoodie had small leather pads on the shoulders, and forearms, as well as on his knees. If he was going to show himself to her this time, he might as well validate that he was around her age.
Robin was in the park for a little while, hiding behind a tree. He realized how sketchy this was as the sun had just gone down to give the sky a orange glow. Little people were outside at this time, especially with the weather getting colder. As he saw Marian walk by he gave an imitation of a bird chirping. He then walked up behind her. From a distance, he didn't look too out of the ordinary to people walking by. He was just a man in a hoodie and jeans. Although this was a bit of a gamble for him, he felt like it was much needed. "So what do you got?" Robin asked casually.
Peter listened to Matt talk, and although he felt a lot of emotions, fear was not one of them anymore. He knew after being Spider-Man for so long, and getting picked on for standing up to kids at school... He was not intimidated, or pressured in to doing things he didn't want to do. "I have dealt with a lot of stuff similar to that, Mister Murdock. I have no problem with going through with this." Peter said.
"Peter--" Aunt May began. "This man isn't going to get away again, Aunt May." Peter interrupted, his voice was assertive put gentle in a way, his eyes a bit cold. Could you blame him? He dreamed of the day that Uncle Ben's murderer was brought to justice. He felt the burden was his to bare, to finish. His uncle died because Peter ran off, didn't do the right thing, and now he had to live with that. When Matt talked about his loved ones, his grip tightened on Lexi and Aunt May's hand. he was right. He had little people in his life that meant a lot to him personally, but the people that did were the greatest he could ever imagine. He knew Lexi and his Aunt was there for him, and it was the other way around too.
"I'm a quick learner. And I heard lawyers make more money than my intended career path anyway." Peter said with a small smile. He had a small little idea that popped in his head. Peter may not be able to do much to the man's connections, but Spider-Man could easily hunt down the criminals and organizations that could protect this killer... But the question was was if Lexi would approve of this?
If you would have told Peter that one day he would have the best kiss in his entire life by this half human half extinct race woman, he wouldn't have believed you. But as soon as her lips touched his, he would have gladly trade in every single one of them for her lips. His hands reached up to gently put on her cheeks, and when she leaned in, so did he... Then she pulled back. Peter was in a daze, leaning back down and watching her leave until she turned around. His face lit up when she talked about a goodbye kiss. What kind of Terran would he be if he didn't follow that tradition?
His hospital treatment didn't take long. They injected a few things in them, and in no time his aches felt a bit better, but his cuts and bruises were still there. Gamora had it worse, and Groot really had no treatment for his wounds except time... That, and no one has seen his race before. The talk for revenge soon started though as they made their way back to the Milano. "As soon as we leave the orbit I will search to see where the merc ships went." Gamora said, glaring forward. "We'll need to prepare better. More guns, explosives, and I'll make sure we have a lot more gadgets." Rocket commented.
"Maybe I could get Yondu to help us out... You think he's still mad about the stone?" Quill asked. No one answered. The Milano was being packed as they walked towards it, Nova police everywhere thanks to the attack, and Nikki being out in the open. She was no longer in her previous dress, but in a white one. Every time he looked at Nikki, he constantly thought of an angel. He knew how his mom felt when talking about his father (except Nikki hasn't tried to kill him recently).
Peter furrowed his brows when she said they needed to talk in private, and then her words of a goodbye kiss came in to mind... He didn't think about the thought that they might have to part ways. Peter really didn't like that idea, especially when Nova Prime was here.
She talked fast, Peter tried to keep up, and look where she was looking, and he didn't know exactly what was going on, but she was begging for him to kiss her (Over Rick! Yes!), and that he had to sign a paper? He then thought back to her words yet again. I shall remind said warrior, that sometimes. Something could be called upon him that, while it random and outlandish and unexplained at first; it could be what the princess honestly needs. The question is, will the night follow through…
Well, now was more of a time to prove that and follow through, right? "I... alright..." Peter said, grabbing the paper, signing it a bit too quickly and excitedly, and then he stepped forward, putting a hand on her back and another behind her head and kissed her on her soft lips yet again, leaning on the Milano, and forgetting the thought that he possibly just did something he would regret sooner than later... But at this moment, he had only one person on his mind.
Robert was lost in thought about thinking of his next step on the Robin Hood case until Marian's voice broke his chain of thought, but he wasn't complaining. When she said he shouldn't be that good, he gave a laugh, and then when asked how he did it, his eyes gave a mischievous sparkle. "Well... It was elementary, my dear Andersen." Robert said, closing his suitcase, and looking up at her. "I took a look at everything that was stolen. Miss Rivoure looked and sounded like a woman that would never even consider robbing someone. So there were the cliche things like the expensive watch, and the wife's rings... But then there was the shoes, a stolen autographed soccer ball, Jake's 'special vase'... It had to be someone who was constantly close to Jake. So I asked how often she cleans his room, and she said rarely because he's either sleeping, spending time with two ladies in his room, or doing his school work. The part that got me questioning was not Jake pretending to steal stuff so his family gets more money. I started to think about the girls. One of them had to be doing it... And then i found out from Rivoure that he was dating both of them at the same time."
"Upon further investigation of the two girls, the one he was dating the longest, Paige Meyer, was in a rich family as well. The newer one, Jamie, was the new one, had a history with the police. Multiple counts of robbery... So I happened to inform both of them that I had talked to the family, and Jake was going to be up for questioning, and he could really use your support. So I took a gamble that they would both show, I revealed that he was a two timing jerk, and I got really lucky that they fought and got searched, and she wasn't that bright and kept some of the stolen items in her purse." Robert shrugged, and smiled. "So my hunch was confirmed. Any other questions?"
Peter wasn't expecting Nikki to grab his hand, and to kiss it. She was definitely getting to Quill. The way she talked, moved, cared for him... He didn't get this caught up on women like he did Lexi. She reminded him of Earth. He wouldn't admit it, but he missed it. He missed the music, he missed sneaking out late at night on his small farm house to go night fishing at the creek. He missed his mom, his grandpa, the normal food, the movies... It sounded weird, but it she reminded him of those things. The way she danced to the music unlike the other aliens in the galaxy. Her curiosity of being with other people and cultures. The way she seemed to calm him down... He gave a squeeze to her hand, doing his best to sit up without making sounds of pain. "I'm going to have to stop you right there, Princess." Quill said, looking at her with a small smile.
"We didn't assist you on this thinking this would be a piece of cake. We knew the risk, especially when we are known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. So I don't want to hear an apology, alright?" Peter asked, giving her hand another squeeze. "All I ask is that the high council keeps to their word about their reward... and back on earth, there was this tradition..." Peter began, giving a playful smile. "Back in the dark ages, whenever a heroic knight-- er, a warrior, saved the beautiful princess, he usually received... well, he got a kiss as a reward. But, you know.... Earth is very different from this part of the galaxy." Peter said, shaking his head.
Peter held Lexi's hand as they traveled downstairs. He had one worry down, but he wasn't sure if he was more nervous about this one or not. A lawyer in his house could mean many things, and hoped it wasn't the worst case scenario of people finding out who he is, and being tried for being a public menace, especially after the suit incident... And it didn't help to see Aunt May's look and saying his name in such a way. Peter looked at the man named Matt Murdock, sitting down next to his Aunt, taking her hand as well.
He then began to speak, and his emotions changing. Fear, relief, confustion... Anger. His body was shaking with emotion, tears in his eyes. The last time he saw this possible murderer was a while ago in an alley way. Peter couldn't handle seeing him then, and now that this Matt Murdock was saying that this car thief... Ben's murderer, was caught. Aunt May was in tears, looking at Peter. He knew that she has been waiting for this day for a very long time. It was time for this man to get justice.
When asked if he was up to the challenge, Peter leaned forward. "I'm ready to give the man who killed my Uncle the justice he deserves." Peter said quietly. He tried his best not to break down.
The court session had started, and everyone rose as the judge walked up to its chair, and as the ritual goes, everyone sat. On one side was the Plaintiff, a mister George Jeffers, and his attorney was Edward Taylor (Robert was going to enjoy this). On the Defendant's side was a miss Monique Rivoure, and her attorney was Robert Locksley. Jeffers was a tall man, a classic "rich" look. Dark hair sprayed with gray, a strong jawline, square chest. A man who made a lot of money and didn't want to lose any of it. Monique was a small french woman who moved here for a better opportunity, and when she got the maid job at the Jeffers' household, she was soon found accused of stealing from the house, and she had no where else to turn except for Robert. Why? Because no one wanted to go against the Jeffers family. This wasn't their first time in a court with similar circumstances, and every time they won.
But Robert wasn't afraid. An audience showed up for this court, because Jeffers was a well known business man, and this was Robert's first case in a very long time.
"We are here today in the court of law for a count of robbery from Miss Rivoure. Mr. Locksley, how does the defendant plea?" The judge asked.
Robert stood up, giving a small smile to the judge. "Not guilty, your honor." And then he sat down, leaning back and looking over at Eddy, who seemed to be a bit nervous about this, but Robert knew that he was not that bad of a lawyer.
Robert was now supposed to give his opening statement. He walked over to the jury. "Hope I'm not too rusty." Robert said with a smile, looking back to the jury. "Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury, there's a time where we have to say enough is enough. And as I stand before you today, going against Mr. Taylor and his client Mister Jeffers, my client and the many others who have been accused of robbing from Mr. Jeffers, is not guilty. Of course I cannot help the previous 'criminals', Miss Rivoure is someone I can help be rid of this little curse. But there is a little plot twist. you want to hear what it is?" Robert asked, his eyebrows raised with a little smile, looking back at Jeffers and Taylor. "I can't tell you just yet... But sit back, relax, and let the story unravel before you." Robert said, looking at the judge with a nod, then walking back to the table.
"Very dramatic as always, Mister Locksley."
"Only for you, your honor."
The court gave a small chuckle, and the judge looked at him with stern eyes, but a faint smile. Ed's opening statement wasn't as dramatic as Robert's, but it did it's point. The trail started with Ed asking witnesses to the stand, and Robert also doing so after he was done. It was the basic lawyer thing. A bit boring, and people were expecting more of a show with Robert. That was until it was his turn to bring up his witnesses. First it was Monique, her telling her story of how she was a woman who has never been charged of a single trial, who just received her American citizenship, and studying to become a teacher. It won the hearts of the jury, and Robert made sure it was just that... but that was the only part of his plan.
"Your honor I would like to call Jake Jeffers to the stand." Robert said. Jake was the son to George. He was 18 years old, a golden boy. "How're you doing, Jake? Remember you're under oath." Robert said with another grin. "I-I'm fine." Jake said. "I don't know why I'm up here--" he began, but Robert cut him off. "You still got your scholarship? Full ride for soccer?" Robert asked. He glanced at his father, confused, then back at Robert. "yessir. NYU." He said, and Robert nodded. "Nice. I got invited to go there. But I didn't want to support a crappy football team." Robert said again jokingly. "Objection your honor, relevance?" Ed Taylor asked.
The judge looked at Robert, giving a shrug. "What is the point of this, Mister Locksley?"
"What I'm getting at, your honor, is that Jake is a good kid. Good grades, a good family, house, a killer leg, he probably has a nice little lady, am I right?" Robert asked. Again Jake nodded. "See? A lady killer! What's her name?" Robert asked, putting his hands in his pockets. "Jamie Bennett, Sir." He said.
"WHAT?!" A voice screamed from the stands. A woman was standing up, glaring at Jake. "Who the hell is Jamie?!" She screamed. Another girl stood up. "I'M Jamie! Who the hell are you?" She demanded. "I'm his girlfriend!" "NO! I'm his girlfriend!" The two started in to a fight. The court went wild. The sheriffs had to break up the fight, and remove the two women as the judge demanded order. Robert gasped, looking at Jake with a shocked expression. Then looked back at the girls. "Wait, they can't both be your girlfriend, Jake... unless..." He turned back to look at him. "You were dating both!" Jake's face was red, and confused. "You see, I asked Monique if she has seen anything out of the ordinary while working at the Jeffers house. Turns out that she noticed that you would bring two different girls over, alternating a bit, saying the same mushy gushy lines, buying her things... But when did you start dating Miss Bennett?" Robert asked.
Jake looked terrified, and looked at his dad. "No looking over there. Tell the truth man, or you lose a bit more of that 'Golden Boy' repuation." Robert said gently. Jake looked back and Robert and sighed. "About 8 months ago."
"And how about the other one? Miss Meyer?"
"Two years."
"So you're saying that two years of seeing the same girl gets a bit old, but you didn't want to lose what you had, so you found another lady on the side? A bit of a wilder one? And one that has had a few interactions with the police..." One of the sheriffs walked back in holding a few items. "Mister Jeffers, your father claimed that he was missing a few things... One of his favorite watches... A few rings... an expensive 'vase' but we all know what you use that for, Jakey." Robert said, listing a few things off his memory. "Sheriff, would you mind telling us what you found in Miss Bennett's purse when you had to check her after her fight?"
The sheriff revealed a very expensive watch, two diamond rings, an old credit card with Jake's name on it, and a couple of hundred dollar bills. Robert gave a nod, putting his hands back in his pockets. "No further questions, your honor."
-------
It didn't take long for the case to be over with after that. Jeffers immediately tried to stop the charges, and the jury found Monique not guilty. Ed quickly packed up his stuff as the case ended, giving a quick glare at Robert before walking out of the courtroom. "Thank you so much, Mister Locksley! I am so grateful!" Monique Rivoure screamed, taking his hand and kissing it. Robert shook his head and smiled. "No need to thank me, Miss Rivoure. Thank you for believing me after you knew my not so glorious reputation." He said with a soft smile. "I knew i could trust you, sir! You're reputation of helping those i need is far greater than your reputation for going bankrupt!" Robert smiled. "Well, Miss Rivoure, you can stop by the firm, sign a few papers, and you'll be on your way. It's been a pleasure." He took her hand and respectively kissed it, and she was off.
Smiling to himself, Robert started to pack up his papers and files in his suitcase, proud of his results. It felt good to be back in a courtroom!
Peter looked up at the ship coming in to orbit, and making its way towards the entrance of the large building, right where they were standing. The man's words pissed Quill off, and not to mention Nova left to fly up to what looked like Nikki up there. His attention soon turned back to the ship when it said that the Guardians were no match for it. That wasn't good. Rocket's weapon was already off his back, aiming up at the large ship. Drax had his knives drawn, Gamora had a pistol, and a dagger in her hand, and Groot was just frowning at the space craft. The doors opened, and well armored men and women started to jump out.
"These aren't military..." Gamora frowned.
"We're dealing with mercs?" Rocket asked, obviously surprised.
"Looks like it. Whoever hired them don't want to show their faces yet. What better way to officially start an unofficial civil war than to have mercs fight first?" Quill asked, pressing the button behind his ear, his helmet coming on.
"They aren't just any mercs." Rocket said, squinting to get a better look at them.
"The Talons." Drax confirmed. Quill looked confused. "Who?"
"They are the largest mercenary group besides the Ravagers. I'm not surprised you don't know about them. They work on the other side of the galaxy. They don't want to mess with Yondu." Gamora explained. Peter shrugged. "Well now he's got a pissed off group of fighters who is being led by a Ravager. Bring it on."
The mercs all wore a very dark purple armor. It was sleek, battle damaged, and all had tattoos on their cheek. Their weapons varied from swords, to guns, to whips, and daggers. Peter now had his elemental guns out, and the Guardians stood behind him, ready to fight.
It soon started. The first of them started to run towards them, Rocket climbed up on Groot and started firing. Drax ran forward, headbutting people in the gut and flipping them over, and in a fluid motion sliced up, making contact with another merc. Gamora jumped up, wrapping her legs around someone's neck as he spun and made them fall hard on the ground. Rolling to the side of a whip, she grabbed it, and yanked forward, kicking the person in the face.
Quill threw a device on the ground that made the mercs fall down for a second as if the floor suddenly turned to ice, and Quill started firing electrical charges. For now they were doing good!
That was until someone appeared in front of Quill, which made him jump in surprise, but he got punched in the face before he could do anything. Another merc appeared that had a large machine gun, and heavy set armor. As Peter got up, Rocket jumped on the face of the woman that appeared in front of Quill, and Groot walked towards the heavy set merc. "I! AM! GROOOOOOOOOOT!!!" He bellowed at the man, which made some of the mercs uncomfortable, but as soon as the machine gun started firing at Groot, they progressed.
The fight went downhill from there. Quill was being tag teamed by appearing and disappearing enemies. Peter didn't have enough time to get a gadget to get rid of their cloaking. Gamora was being held down by whips, Groot was backing back from the heavy machine gun fire, and Rocket was now forced to go old school and start scratching at mercs.
Peter fell to his knees after a blow to his back, looking at his team as they tried so hard to fight back... He felt like a kid again. he couldn't do anything. He was then hit upside the head by the butt of a gun, and went out cold.
----------
Peter woke up in a small hospital room. He looked around, and when he tried to get up, his body ached all over. He was sure that he had a lot of cuts and bruises all over his body, and a nice gash on his temple. He leaned back down, giving a giant sigh. The mighty Guardians of the Galaxy were taken down by a bunch of mercs... Oh, they were going to pay!
The door to his room opened, and in came Nikki in her official clothes. Her blue hair was up, her brown eyes full of concerned, her caramel body looking better than he could describe in that dress... "yeah, we're okay.. if you count being humiliated, getting our butts kicked and having several concussions as okay..." Peter said half jokingly, looking at her, then back away. He was a bit embarrassed.

But like I said I love it when people contact me and ask if I want to RP with them, or have an idea and want my skills, and odds are I love the same thing, so If anyone wants to collab just shoot me a PM!
