We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Welcome to Hogwarts! This is where young witches and wizards come to learn and master their skills, to become skilled in magic and the wizarding world! Here students will be split up in to four houses:

Gryffindor: House of the brave, chivalrous, courageous students who know friendship and honor. House colors are scarlet and gold.

Hufflepuff: Hard work, patience, loyalty and fair play. Colors are Yellow and Black

Ravenclaw: Intelligence, knowledge and wit. Colors are Blue and Bronze

Slytherin: Ambitious, cunning, and resourcefulness. Colors are Emerald Green and Silver

And once sorted, the students will be able to learn about magic through the various classes such as: Astronomy, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Flying, Herbology, Potions, apparation (6th years only), muggle studies, and more!

Not only that, but there are many clubs as well. Some include: Dueling club, wizard chess, Quidditch, winged horse racing, etc.

During the school year the students will make friends, enemies, and possibly love interests all in or out of their houses. How will you spend your years at Hogwarts??

RULES:

1) No one is going to be overpowered, so don't try and act like god and win every duel or be perfect haha.
2)Don't be a douche bag (OOC of course haha)
3) I know this is a HP RP, but don't be cause unnecessary and chaotic violence or drama like a bunch of dementors coming out of nowhere or a rogue student/professor
4)I have a feeling there will be a lot of people joining from the interest check, so please don't join if you know you won't be on often! If you do have to take an absence, please let me know by PM so i don't miss it in the OOC!
5) All i ask is no one sentenced posts, it doesn't help the story when you go "He opened the door", it just wastes space
6) Although this is in the Potter universe, lets not try to get any close relatives to the main characters. The son of harry potter is an example haha

Hadrian Longinus Blevins

Name: Hadrian Longinus Blevins
Age: 72
Heritage: Half-Blood
Personality: Serious, fair, and clever.

History: Hadrian Blevins was born in the county Surry and raised among his welsh Muggle kin till her was of age to attend Hogwarts. He was last in his class among Ravenclaw his OWLS disappointing.
It wasn't till he'd left school and began to apply his skills to the obstacles in adult life that his true genius began to show.
An expert at Charms and Counter hexes he was offered a job with the ministry of magic but chose instead to travel to america and study at the Mystic Technical School where he graduated with Top marks a Ring Mechanic and Artificer.
He continued his education at MTS till he was 29 years old and earned a doctorate in Applied Magical Sciences and Alchemy.
He returned to England and opened an R&D lab in Biggin Hill Kent where he researched the use of Muggle scientific methodology applied to Arcane science.
All was going well till the rise of the Death eaters and their persecution of those of muggle blood or having anything to do with muggles in anyway.
Dr.Blevins soon found himself in the middle of a ragging battle with a group of Death Eaters who'd discovered he was giving sanctuary to muggle born.
His defense allowed all those under his protection to survive but resulted in the destruction of his lab along with research projects that would require years and funds that were now beyond his grasp.
He had to take a job with the ministry as a clerk and muggles researcher for the department of affairs.
When Professor McGonagal was about to retire she began presenting Dr. Blevins as her replacement even though he had no teaching experience.
She drug her heals till the ministry had no other choice but to accept him as her replacement.

Familar: Military gray Macaw named Freddy which he purchased 25 years ago in America.
Freddy is so clever that he often delivers verbal instructions to anyone that Dr. Blevins sends him to.

Wand: Hebridean Black dragon
Dragon Patronus are very rare and presently only Dr. Blevins is the only known one with such.

Other: Dr. Blevins wears rings on nearly every finger each one enchanted with a specific spell and is known to carry numerous other artifacts that are similarly enchanted

Name: Cyril Voss
Age: 44

bio: Cyril was classmates with the infamous Harry Potter and his friends before Voldemort gained power. And although Cyril looked the part, he and his family wanted nothing to do with the Dark Lord, or wanting to rid the world from muggle-born wizards. Cyril never really fit in... not even in his house when he was a student. He was too dark and mysterious for the other houses to like him, but didn't show much of Slytherin charisma. He was a smart student, mastering the DATDA, and even working on the dark arts during the summer, but not for evil reasons as most people think it is. When Voldemort took over Hogwarts during our seventh year, I helped Neville Longbottom with defending the school while Harry was gone. My Slytherin personality showed great during that year. And when fighting broke out, I went against many deatheaters... I saw so much death in such little time... And after the war i went to work for the Ministry, specializing in de-hexing and cursing objects because of my knowledge in the dark arts... After years of that i was asked by Headmaster Mcgonagall to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts. I eagerly accepted, and taught that for quite some time. I then switched to Potions, because the school was in need of a professor there, Plus it was a Slytherin thing i guess... My reputation got me an invitiation to be the Head of Slytherin House. I have been doing that for a few years now.

Personality: A little dark and mysterious, with a dark sense of humor. usually keeps to himself, but enjoys to see that Students come in for help in classes. Very proud and likes to boast about my accomplishments. Harsh at times, but doesn't want to make anyone's life a living hell.

Bio: I fought and survived the Battle of Hogwarts. I odn't think any of the students there will ever really be "normal" as you call it... I worked at the Ministry for Muggle Studies, and was offered a job at Hogwarts to teach Muggle studies at school. And soon after that i was offered the job of Head of Hufflepuff. Over the years I have also taught herbology, and at some point in time a flying instructor for the first years.

Personality: Very kind and friendly, most students love me for my laid back teaching attitude, but i don't take kindly to rule breaking. If one thing is out of place, she usually becomes very strict.

Bio: Like most professors now, Elizabeth came from the era of the Battle of Hogwarts. When she was a student here she was extremely smart (she rivaled Hermione's wit), prompt, and very studious. Even now she is. She spent years in the Ministry studying spells, mostly transfiguration. When she could she applied to be a professor at Hogwarts, and it wasn't long before she was accepted. Although she is very hard on her students when teaching, she has the highest success rate in exams.

Bio: Growing up with wizard parents in a muggle neighborhood was... interesting. After they fought at Hogwarts, they got a job at the Ministry of Magic after a year or two of helping fix the mess of the war. My father is an Auror, easily being able to join after his accomplishments, and my mother specializes in muggles... So to not get on her bad side, my father agreed to live in a quiet neighborhood so she can study up close. When i was born I had a fascination for adventure, creating tales of how i defeated dragons, and helping bring back an ancient relic, and being a hero. When i was 12 I got my letter to Hogwarts, and my family was incredibly happy. My father was a Gryffindor, and my mother was in Ravenclaw, so they tried to persuade me in to one of their houses.

I got my books, my clothes, and my wand, which is fairly rare because of the pheonix feather... I was sorted in to Gryffindor, a house of bravery and honor. I could live with that... My first year at Hogwarts was challenging, my wand and i seemed to not get along all that much, charms were tricky, and don't even get me started on hexes... But the class the wand didn't fail me in was Defense Against the Dark Arts. Duels came naturally, but i still had very much to learn. I made some fantastic friends in my first year with people in each house.I was loyal to my friends, and wasn't afraid to settle any differences with people who attacked my friends. As the years went on my wand became more and more comfortable, being able to do much more charms and spells than before, and my second year, i tried out for Quidditch.

I was a skilled chaser, but again, my age usually made me fall off and be kicked around for most of it. Now I'm co-captain of the Gryffindor team, one of the top duelists (not the best), and have fairly decent grades. I get some looks and sneers from people i've made enemies with, and smiles and waves from the people i've made friends with. Its not my fifth year here, and i'm excited to see who joins the school!

Personality: Very humble, but also extremely brave and courageous, as most Gryffindors are. Competetive, but highly respectful. A bit of a mouth on him when you get him off, but very loyal and nice to strangers and friends, but not to enemies. A quick thinker that goes on instinct most of the time. Sweet, nice, caring, funny, and willing to make friends
