For the record I'm here. I may not post a lot because either i'm not on a laptop, at an event where i can't post, or something has come up. But i read everything posted on here, and read every discussion about what people are talking about. I respect and understand everyone's point of view, and i take it in to consideration in my head, and try to make it work for everyone. But i feel like the discussing is being used as i want you to change your view point, and as soon as that happens, "nah, nevermind. We can keep it.", which brings everyone back to square one.

I never intended this to be a strict, hard core canon only Harry Potter RP, I said that many times in the interest check hahaha. And i want you guys to know that if you have any big problem like the Animagus you should let me know, and I'll do the "only 6th and 7th years can TRY and do it"

I read all the books too, but i'd be lying if i know everything by heart haha. There have been points of violence. Some wizards might be against it, and some might not care, because they have had muggle parents, or have grown up in muggle towns. In Order of the Phoenix Harry even made threatening gestures towards Dudley at the park without his wand (granted he takes it out haha), but its just natural for a human to wanna punch stuff!!! hahaha

And keep in mind this is yeeaaarrs after the Harry Potter era haha. It may not be the same since Harry was 11-18, its actually really hard to say what is what, because we just don't know, and that's what i was enjoying about this RP. Not everything was canon. The spell making sounds interesting, the animagus sounded cool too, it could be more common, or there happened to be a case where he/she was born with a talent for that, you know?

All I'm saying is that I think we are getting a bit too annoyed with the small stuff, and we gotta learn that this is a site for imagination haha. It absolutely is a Harry Potter RP because of Hogwarts, and the spells, and the rules it set, but we shouldn't be afraid or mad to bend them a bit, right??

As for a plot, It looked like people already have one! Acacia has a plan, and so does Casimir (sorry if i spelt that wrong :I), and right now, I do have some sort of a plan with FoxNews, since he's an Auror, and before that i had a plot to use when we have played a few matches of Quidditch, and gone to some classes, and stuff like that. We've already seen the dark stuff in HP, but we rarely got the chance to see the actual student life!

Again, if you have a plot that you wanna bring up, just send me a PM, and I'd love to hear your guys' ideas, because its your RP too!

And i just made a group of Heads of Houses and Rumiko made one for our Headmaster which I'll use, I'll post them on the first OOC page, or right here soon! haha

Hadrian Longinus Blevins

Name: Hadrian Longinus Blevins
Age: 72
Heritage: Half-Blood
Personality: Serious, fair, and clever.

History: Hadrian Blevins was born in the county Surry and raised among his welsh Muggle kin till her was of age to attend Hogwarts. He was last in his class among Ravenclaw his OWLS disappointing.
It wasn't till he'd left school and began to apply his skills to the obstacles in adult life that his true genius began to show.
An expert at Charms and Counter hexes he was offered a job with the ministry of magic but chose instead to travel to america and study at the Mystic Technical School where he graduated with Top marks a Ring Mechanic and Artificer.
He continued his education at MTS till he was 29 years old and earned a doctorate in Applied Magical Sciences and Alchemy.
He returned to England and opened an R&D lab in Biggin Hill Kent where he researched the use of Muggle scientific methodology applied to Arcane science.
All was going well till the rise of the Death eaters and their persecution of those of muggle blood or having anything to do with muggles in anyway.
Dr.Blevins soon found himself in the middle of a ragging battle with a group of Death Eaters who'd discovered he was giving sanctuary to muggle born.
His defense allowed all those under his protection to survive but resulted in the destruction of his lab along with research projects that would require years and funds that were now beyond his grasp.
He had to take a job with the ministry as a clerk and muggles researcher for the department of affairs.
When Professor McGonagal was about to retire she began presenting Dr. Blevins as her replacement even though he had no teaching experience.
She drug her heals till the ministry had no other choice but to accept him as her replacement.

Familar: Military gray Macaw named Freddy which he purchased 25 years ago in America.
Freddy is so clever that he often delivers verbal instructions to anyone that Dr. Blevins sends him to.

Wand: Hebridean Black dragon
Dragon Patronus are very rare and presently only Dr. Blevins is the only known one with such.

Other: Dr. Blevins wears rings on nearly every finger each one enchanted with a specific spell and is known to carry numerous other artifacts that are similarly enchanted

Other: Had a small likeness towards Raymond Chase, (somewhat) reminds her of her very close friend, Harry Potter also teaches Charms

Slytherin:

Cyril Voss

Name: Cyril Voss
Age: 44
Appearance:
Heritage: Pure-blood
House: Slytherin, graduated
Wand: Ebony, dragonheart core
bio: Cyril was classmates with the infamous Harry Potter and his friends before Voldemort gained power. And although Cyril looked the part, he and his family wanted nothing to do with the Dark Lord, or wanting to rid the world from muggle-born wizards. Cyril never really fit in... not even in his house when he was a student. He was too dark and mysterious for the other houses to like him, but didn't show much of Slytherin charisma. He was a smart student, mastering the DATDA, and even working on the dark arts during the summer, but not for evil reasons as most people think it is. When Voldemort took over Hogwarts during our seventh year, I helped Neville Longbottom with defending the school while Harry was gone. My Slytherin personality showed great during that year. And when fighting broke out, I went against many deatheaters... I saw so much death in such little time... And after the war i went to work for the Ministry, specializing in de-hexing and cursing objects because of my knowledge in the dark arts... After years of that i was asked by Headmaster Mcgonagall to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts. I eagerly accepted, and taught that for quite some time. I then switched to Potions, because the school was in need of a professor there, Plus it was a Slytherin thing i guess... My reputation got me an invitiation to be the Head of Slytherin House. I have been doing that for a few years now.

Personality: A little dark and mysterious, with a dark sense of humor. usually keeps to himself, but enjoys to see that Students come in for help in classes. Very proud and likes to boast about my accomplishments. Harsh at times, but doesn't want to make anyone's life a living hell.

Rachel Blake

Bio: I fought and survived the Battle of Hogwarts. I odn't think any of the students there will ever really be "normal" as you call it... I worked at the Ministry for Muggle Studies, and was offered a job at Hogwarts to teach Muggle studies at school. And soon after that i was offered the job of Head of Hufflepuff. Over the years I have also taught herbology, and at some point in time a flying instructor for the first years.

Personality: Very kind and friendly, most students love me for my laid back teaching attitude, but i don't take kindly to rule breaking. If one thing is out of place, she usually becomes very strict.

Other: Teaches Muggle Studies

Ravenclaw:

Elizabeth Dawn

Name: Elizabath Dawn
Age: 45
Appearance:
Heritage: Pure-Blood
House: Ravenclaw HoH
Wand: Ash, Unicorn Hair

Bio: Like most professors now, Elizabeth came from the era of the Battle of Hogwarts. When she was a student here she was extremely smart (she rivaled Hermione's wit), prompt, and very studious. Even now she is. She spent years in the Ministry studying spells, mostly transfiguration. When she could she applied to be a professor at Hogwarts, and it wasn't long before she was accepted. Although she is very hard on her students when teaching, she has the highest success rate in exams.

Raymond smiled as he watched Sam walk away and sit down with her friends. He looked around, seeing familiar faces. The tables were all gossiping, or talking, or giving hugs or singing with each other. Raymond was then caught off guard when he felt someone jump on to his back. "Ray!" A voice said with a laugh. A fifth year Gryffindor student jumped off Raymond's back. He had jet black hair that was styled in to a fauxhawk. He wore his red and gold tie loosely, his shirt untucked, and his sleeves rolled up. He had a huge grin on his face.

"Edgar Henson. The legend." Raymond said with a smile. "I must have missed you on the train!" Edgar said.

Raymond and Edgar have known each other since their first year, obviously. They were both dreaming to be on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and since it was highly unlikely that they would make it their first year, they started practicing on their own time. They usually snuck out to get food from the kitchen for the Gryffindor kids late at night (Thanks to a hidden book written by a F and G Weasely), and quizzed each other on spells when everyone else in the castle fell asleep.

They both sat down at a table with a few other boys from Gryffidnor, all room mates. They started talking about their summer, laughing at stories, and singing along to an old wizard song they learned. Finally though, the first year students made their way in to the dining hall, completely awestruck as they saw the ceiling and plates of food. Raymond smiled at their expressions. Some of the tables started pointing and guessing who would join what house. Now all they had to do was wait for the Heads of each house, and the headmaster with the sorting hat then the ceremony, then feast, will begin!

I definitely know that feeling, Rune... I've been busy for the past few days too... hang in there! haha

and if it makes you feel better Raymond doesn't think you're really up to something, he just didn't like how you forced him out of the room when a Gryffindor was in need! ;P hahahaha. Raymond won't be on board that train until he actually sees you do something, which won't happen soon because she covers her tracks haha

I also thought that another factor that the Sorting Hat would have chosen Slytherin for Harry was because a part of Tom Riddle was in him... literally hahaha. I have a feeling the hat would have said Gryffindor if Harry didn't have that haha

But anyway, Raymond will focus more on his friends, Quidditch (I have a feeling Annabelle and Ray will have a bit of a difficult time liking each other), and his classes until Isaak or Verlin or Casimir need the help of a strong *cough* courageous young man like Raymond hahahaha

I feel like the "nicer" Slytherin's make them better in my opinion, because some of them were never like Malfoy, or stuck up brats who thought they were better than half blood and muggle borns, you know? They can be cunning and use things to achieve their goals, and not use people and toss them away. The wizarding world has kinda changed after it was half destroyed, and i never wanted this to be a hardcore strict Hogwarts RP, because if that happened, we would have people yelling at each other and saying how it should be (which is what its begging to become)

With that said, i know no one is intentionally yelling, or wanting to start an argument and all that. Just be reasonable on both points of views whoever it may be

I'm gonna wait a bit before the ceremony starts so people have time to post and talk and stuff. The reason why i sped up the carriage thing was because i thought everyone wanted it to go faster, and i didn't want people who were gone for one day to read a novel hahaha

As for the Quidditch matches, i was for flipping the coin just so it can be fair and it wouldn't have to do deal with all this arguing haha, but now i like Krein's idea where if Slytherin and Gryffindor were scheduled a match, whoever's character is a part of the house team will start a PM, and discuss who should win and how it all plays out and the rest of us who aren't playing don't know who will win, and it'll be fun to see how it goes!

And I guess it'll be just better to play it off. Raymond is very skilled in the sport, but I don't ever plan on winning all of them, so it all depends on who gives up first I guess...
