They would find the wards around the school solid at least at first. It appeared that the demon hadn't broken them to get in which meant that the demon had come in one of three ways. One it had either ridden in on a human host. Two it had been summoned with in the school. Or three its nature didn't affect the wards. Unfortunately before anyone could determine which of the three had happened Agent Archie walked right through the wards.

Unfortunately Archie aura was dark enough to set off the wards. Alarms screeched causing the students that hadn't made it to the auditorium to run screaming. The school starting shaking. Whatever demon had been in the school had been contained by the wards that were supposed to keep the students safe. Unfortunately for the agents that was no longer the case.

Archie had weakened the wards enough that the demon slipped out. There wasn't a single trace of it. Now it was free in the world and the agents had no clue what it's agenda was or what kind of demon it was. Not only that but sirens indicated that human authorities were on their way which meant they wouldn't be getting information from anyone any time soon. Chose would descend on the school within minutes.

The other beastkind shook his head at the dismissal. "I wouldn't be in such a hurry if I were you." He said moving towards the wagon. He took the invitation to get into the wagon even though he was sure that the other wasn't talking to him. "Interesting choice of companions you have friend. Personally I think she looks too weak to be much help to you. I suppose you could use her to get into places we aren't allowed to go but other than that I don't see her being able to help you get your children back."

He needed Bastian to listen to him. He had information that the other man needed. "We have the same goal. We are after the same people." He ignored the female's nakedness. He had no interest in her. He had no interest in females especially frail humans that couldn't handle mating with him.

Liz was used to being ignored so she thought little of the two talking. He th ought the differences between the two beastkind was amazing. Bastian was built like a wolf. While this new one seemed to be an odd mix of bird and tiger. His wings were bigger than anything she had ever seen. In fact she had never seen two species mixed the way this one seemed to be. She was curious about his statement about them being after the same people. Had his child been taken too? She got dressed before heading towards the wagon.

"Don't worry about me Jess. I can handle them. The less you know the better for both of us." Roxy reassured the other woman. Which was true. It was only the empath's fragile state was giving them alittle freedom. She needed to keep her father and the others as far from them as possible. That would only happen as long as they thought it was to their benefit to do so. Which meant not fixing the shield too much.

Roxy didn't like that part. She didn't like Jess having a link to her emotion. She preferred that the other woman not know anything. She didn't want Jess in her dark world. It was better if the girl knew as little as possible. She didn't want to contaminated the empath. Jess had already been through enough she didn't need to deal with more. She was determined to keep the other woman safe.

@GentlemanvaultboyLOL the principle is trying not to piss off the childrens' rich and connected parents. But I can work with it now that I understand what you mean.
