@Antarctic Termite your recent technique of keeping record of MP/FP usage is confusing me a bit ^^' as a consequence I'm not entirely sure how much MP/FP concealment etc. you have. Help?
BBeast presents my concerns rather well. It's more that I didn't think we had yet developed the necessary prerequisites for money, rather than me being opposed to it being developed
And I haven't read the most recent posts, so don't know if anyone has reached the Atlantis point yet xD
@Kho I've got a hell of a lot of free time and nothing to spend it on, so I'm really impatient to get started writing. So if you wanna include the entrance of Lazarus into the world in your post, I can write him in for you, since I'll know his personality the best.
Hmm, weren't you planning to go with a cocoon, Slough-like entrance? You should definitely get started working on that, and @Cyclone showed interest in being the first to contribute to that too. We just need to find some divine essence which your initial mortal can stumble upon...
@WrongEndoftheRainbow I'm probably not going to post it for a good while yet, since Scarifar has some business with the mind goddess for the moment, but I just thought it was rather strange how some tracts that I had written were in a similar stream to some of the things in your CS (but then again, since the Domain is so close and she's gone mad, much like Lazarus who is already somewhat mad, it's to be expected that there would be some similarities). Doubt I'll need much help writing it xP just GM cleaning up combined with a pre-existing storyline I had with the now-disappeared player.
But, here is a spoiler:
The witless woman had, with her own hands and the greatest foolishness, brought together their threads and laced them in enmity. She had stolen what was his due right, and Fate had willed that she taste the fruit of her theft. And here she now was, labouring and gagging ‘neath the weight of Fate’s curse – the curse she had gleefully seized with her two hands, the curse she had embraced and brought into herself. The Great Criterion, the Scroll of the Beginning, the Dictator of the End, the Codex of Creation, the Blueprint of the Universe, the Book of Death, the Tyrant, the Liberator. It went by many names, but all knew it for what it was. All had a vague idea of what they perceived it to be. And all knew that it was best to perceive of it no more than that.
All, that is, except her.
For one so intelligent, there could have been no greater fool. She had opened it and peeked within, and she had realised the depths of her ignorance. What could have been more devastating, for a being such as her, than to come to such a revelation? Such epiphanies were dangerous things indeed, and there were some things best left unknown – even for those who claimed that they - or wished that they - knew all, or had a monopoly over knowledge. She had thought all knowledge her prerogative. Such heights of pride. And such as he saw before him was the great fall which cometh swiftly thereafter.
And we tend to use titanpad or piratepad for collabs. Cyclone in particular is an ardent Piratepadist. He claims that it has far more colours, and so has been won over completely by it XD
@WrongEndoftheRainbow reading your CS, couldn't help but feel there were some similarities between it and a post I started a couple of days ago. Putting the current goddess of the Mind 'to sleep' you see, and it appears she has...well, lost her mind.
@Scarifar Rtron tells me you had some kind of plan with Vulamera - if you still want to do it, let me know and we'll sort something out before Vowzra eats her essence puts her poor soul to rest
@Double Capybara Hope you feel better soon. I admit I've been in something of the same boat recently, but nevertheless we writers must chug on. I tend to find that when you write what happens is you stop reading works of fiction. It's very important to keep reading books even while you write. So if you can manage to pick up enough motivation, pick up a book along with it ;P it might just help
@Flynn that's fine by me, I can have Laxion reflect on it anyhow. I'll get to writing up a post soon. Anything in particular happening the following day, or should I play it by ear? Could have news of a certain character's death arrive and circulate...
