Pain.....all she could remember was pain, agony and nausea, coming in and out of consciousness. Puking every time she sat up. Dreams, dreams of her family she lost and having to join strangers in a bunker that could possibly mean life or death. When the hatch opened for everyone to go out and explore to find what was left and whatever they could eat, Nina was one of the few that did come out but helped bring back in ones who were getting sick and dying shortly after breathing the contaminated air.
Around the same time as the others, Nina got sick for nearly a week when she was exposed to the air as well until finally waking up to a feeling....if she had to describe it. The feeling at first was weak. She didn't know what was going on but she felt saddened...weakened....in want. But those weren't her actual feelings. It was feelings coming from something else.
Nina slowly got up off of her cot, holding her head. She slowly got up, hungry and groaning. Hello? she called out and slowly walked to the door way and looked around. She could still......feel...something. She walked down the corridor towards the cafeteria until the feeling she felt subside a little, which caused her to stop. For some reason, something told her to back up and when she did, the feeling she had earlier became stronger and looked to her side of a dying house plant that needed water as she got closer and held it, making her feel a bit thirsty.
He eyes widened and she quickly placed the plant down and backed away feeling freaked out because for that moment, she felt like she was that plant, feeling what it was feeling and rushed to the cafeteria in need of water. My god.....what....what was that just now? that plant....I....we.....what the....what's going on with me....I don't feel so well.... she thought in panic.
