She was shivering. The pain wasn't as bad at least. She could say that... or rather she could think it. For some reason, talking was really hard to do. Maria was there though, which was nice.

Were they supposed to be going for a run? Had she forgotten that? "Sorry Maria." Oh good she was able to talk, even through her chattering teeth. There were other people there too. She knew them, but what were their names? That was frustrating.

I'm out of town but will post my character if I end up somewhere I can set up my laptop for a few.

Location: Silver Mines
Interacting with: Jenna @Morose, Lydia @BlueSky44, Robin @McHaggis, Kosara @rivaan and Abe @Nallore

Heather was ready to follow Robin and had started to. He didn't need the excuses with her. She was ready to leave this place and let Abe deal with whatever it was that was going on. She just wanted to go home and have some tea and maybe work in her garden for a bit. How hard was that? Why was the world conspiring against her?

She was steps behind Robin when the creepy kid appeared. She squeaked. And reached out for Robin's hand. Abe was yelling at them to come back. "I don't know if we can get past him?"

She looked back at Abe and the others. There was too much talk about demons. "Abe I don't know if I can do this." Her voice cracked as she said it. She turned to the ghost boy and dove trying to get into the hole they had crawled through. Amazingly she was able to get past him. He probably didn't expect her to try. She was down into the crawl space before he could react. She could only hope that Robin would be able to sneak past the demon child on the other side. She went just far enough to give Robin room if he dared try.

Niah was impressed. And thought it was too bad Maria hadn't taken Tempest's power as well. Having two healers could be helpful. Especially since Maria was bleeding, but she seemed to be fine with the pain.

Niah followed Maria out into the kitchen, and she had taken down the two men in the room before she could even raise her gun. She didn't want to lead the way into the next room. She nodded and moved down the hall near the stairs up to check the next room for hostiles. As she stepped into view of the Great room she saw four people.

They fired on her. Everything went fuzzy as pain blossomed in her stomach and leg. She lifted her arm to fire back, but couldn't figure out where any of the people were. She pressed her hand against her stomach and leaned against the wall she was thankfully next to. "Maria." She weakly said. "There are four hostiles." She had no idea if anyone heard her, she didn't even have the wherewithal to turn on her mic.

Heather shot Robin a whithering look when he mentioned getting trapped in the caves. That was not something she wanted to experience. She wrapped her arms around herself when they finished climbing through the crevice and found Jenna and Lydia. She was proud that she had been able to find them.

Now Abe had the knife, which she was okay with. He was the most adult out of the group. Yeah, Robin was older than Heather, but he didn't have it together as well as Abe appeared to. She didn't mind if Robin or Abe had the knife. As long as it wasn't her. She gravitated toward Robin. "I'll leave when you want to." She whispered that, but what she really meant was she wanted to leave. She had dirt smeared on her face and dust from both the deserted house and now the caves.

"I'm not any good with uh living people. I might be able to sew up a wound or at least hold pressure on it." Niah offered. "Maybe we should get back out to the transport." She added, then looking over Maria and seeing her wounds she frowned. "And you too I guess."

"Agent Renroir, try to keep pressure on your stomach." Niah didn't think she could carry Agent Renroir by herself, but Maria didn't look in any state to help. She hoped someone would come to help them. "I'm going to check the next room to make sure this room is secure. You two should stay here until we can get you to the transport."

Niah stepped over to the other door in the room and carefully checked to make sure the next room was clear. It was, she let out a small sigh of relief. And then returned to Maria and Tempests' side.
After dinner

Kade found Astrid and pulled her aside to talk to her. Then led orintation with the new students. He explained the compass system as well as the rules for living at the school. He also gave some fair warnings emphasising not everyone finds their door home even if they think they will.

After orientation

As Astrid is leaving the orientation room and she hears Kade head to Elenor's office.

Alex is down the hall and sees Kade enter Elenor's office.

Heather nodded and started leading the way. She nervously looked at the knife in her hand. The man had given it to her, but Robin seemed oddly nervous about her holding it. She had to admit that she didn't particularly want to be holding it either so she thanked him and handed it over.

When the came to the first split in the path she took the left path, remembering Jenna had said that she had never been straight why start now. Heather could relate. With what Kosara said Heather's heart skipped a beat. She was not ready to die. She shared a look with Robin, then nodded at Kosara. "Please just don't leave me there."

At the next split in the path, Heather paused. "I don't know where they went from here." She shined her flashlight trying to see if she could find footprints or some sign of which way they went. Then she noticed what looked like a fresh disturbance in the soil. It wasn't much, but she was fairly certain the girls had gone that way. "Wait, I think they went this way." She shined the flashlight into the small crevice that she almost hadn't noticed. She frowned, uncertain if they would even fit.
