Personal Style: Emily's style is a bit chaotic. Marco helps her shop for non-camp clothes though. She wears jeans or cut off shorts. She keeps her hair short, as much as she would love to wear it long she hates having it touch the back of her neck. She also is worried that in a fight someone would use long hair against her. For shoes she has a pair of older tennies that she wears for working in the yard, or doing training.

Biography Emily was born Joseph Richardson in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mary Richardson. Mary was a party girl in her youth and had Emily at 18, nine months after a wild Mardi Gras. Mary, however, didn't quite understand who Dionysis was, and now that she had a child she needed support from her parents.
Mary's parents were very religious. They took Mary's wrongdoing out on Emily, and as Emily realized who she really was things got worse.
At eight (almost nine) years old Emily left. Chased by literal and figurative monsters. She was able to manipulate plants to keep herself safe. Emily made significant progress, not even knowing where she was going, but something told her to head to New York. In 2012, a now ten-year-old, Emily met a Satyr in New Jersey and with their help made it the rest of the way to camp.
How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: At camp, she crossed the border and wasn't claimed immediately. The Satyr led her to the big house where Mr. D looked at her and gave a knowing smile. She was claimed then, a cluster of grapes appearing over her head. After that, he treated her as he did every other camper. She took on tasks of helping the plants grow and started training.
She has done two quests, both minor and useless. Just lip-service to the questing business. She has left camp a few times for other reasons.
She just finished getting her GED and is considering colleges, especially ones known for their psych department. Emily is afraid to leave camp as she hasn't been gone from camp for more than a few days at a time since she was ten. She has a few online college credits though, and probably will continue taking online courses as long as she can.
