Andy nodded thankfully at Crane. She smiled at Arthur when he said he would stay. It was a relief. Maybe he was starting to realize that this was the best choice? She wasn't certain but she was glad he was staying. Though she wouldn't make him come with her to look at the records. That probably was going to be boring even though it was her little mission.

She did glare at Niah though. The older girl was being mean on purpose she thought. There was no reason to be that graphic. Andy kind of understood why she was doing it, but it wasn't nice. She didn't have anything to add, though she wondered why the Nancy lady was telling Niah to bring her armor. Why wouldn't she? They were going into a battle it only made sense to wear armor.

The madness emanating from the Labyrinth was cloying. Emily could feel it, nearly tangible. Her fingers twitched. There was so much power so much insanity. Her Father tended toward being on the trickster side of things, or revenge, or what was much more common the madness of pleasure and ecstasy. This was not that type of madness. This was true insanity. The kind that would drive a person to rip out their eyes and organs in an attempt to escape it.

Nausea washed over her. She felt unsteady. Felt the glare from Waverly. That anger. It would be turned. It would fester. And Emily would feel it growing. It was created by something so much larger than her, than any of them. She wanted to reach through and pull Waverly to safety but she couldn't. Even without Nancy's decree, Emily couldn't touch the Labyrinth. For the others, it was as it had been designed. For her, it could easily burn through her. Manipulate her. Turn her against what she was and what she believed in.

Emily back farther away from the hole. How had it been so close? How had she not felt it sooner? Her body wrenched and she vomited. Nausea didn't pass. At least she was already in the sewer if she was going to vomit anywhere. She would rather collapse dead right there than take another step toward the hole and the danger it represented.

Niah grinned at Nancy, a sort of 'trust me' mixed with 'got it one' grin. "Believe me I had no intention of being on a flying ship without it." Her voice carried no fear of heights, she didn't have that, it instead gave the impression that she didn't trust things that flew. That she didn't trust knowing where her feet were placed. She was part river leaving the Earth wasn't in her nature.

Niah turned to Alannah, "I would appreciate a tour. Might as well do that now during the calm." She didn't have to finish the phrase for anyone to know that she expected the worst that the Titans could throw at them. Her mind was racing over the possibilities. They needed to protect the gem. The soil from the pit was involved. A war unlike any seen on the Earth since before Rome had paved its first road was around the corner.

Her clothes were back. Her jacket was on her. Thank goodness. She didn't know what she would have done if she had lost her jacket. This dude was annoying. Had he actually made her clothes go away but it had failed? Or just made her think that? She didn't know but the dude was still a jerk.

There was a lot going on around her, but Andy was used to that. She was used to screaming crowds and betting and cheering and booing. This just involved more fire, and apparently, buildings popping out of no-where with actual dragons on them. She had to admit that was a cool power. But the ring was her life she didn't think she'd ever trade her powers for something else.

Empath was still standing, even if he was being a huge wimp and cussing up a storm about the minor amounts of damage Andy had done. That was the annoying part she knew she could have hurt him worse than she had so far but he was acting like he had never been hit before in his life. He couldn't take a punch at all.

Her hand was free again though. She ducked in and swung, but he dodged her. He didn't have much space to maneuver now that there was an actual tower in the room shooting up and out of the building. She used that to her advantage pressing in on him and swung a nice right hook into his face. Her skin sparking with just a little thought and he crumpled to the ground. Andy watched him for a second to make sure he was still breathing then turned to assess and see who her next target should be.

The Kid Omega guy was down. Empath was down. That left Domino and Tarot. Tarot was the one throwing the cards that made the wilds stuff appear (including hellfire). If Andy could knock her out too then they'd only have one person by themselves without any card tricks to deal with. Andy moves in and before she can get close enough to even try to hit Tarot the dragon's tail whips out from no-where. Even with her enhanced reflexes, there was no dodging that.

Andy soared through the air hitting a wall that was conveniently in the way. She slid down the wall and sat on the floor trying to catch her breath. That had been cool but it hurt a lot. She'd have to be more careful if she got another chance to get back into the fray of things. For now, she was just trying to see straight and breathe again.

Things were looking bad. More than one person dropped and Ed wanted to heal both of them. He didn't think he could and maintain his concentration on the shield. But the choice was made for him when Gwen unceremoniously picked him up and dropped him by Mary. Neil was standing up?...what?

"I don't have to be on top of her." He told Gwen. It helped but wasn't a necessary part of healing. Hell, as long as he had a piece of her he could do it from the other side of the planet. There was plenty of blood though. He had everything he needed. She was breathing, but it sounded...awful. He closed his eyes and started concentrating. A piece of his mind keeping up the shield around the civilians. If a tsunami came in they'd be safe.

Marygold would start to knit back together. Strands of orange turning into flesh. It wasn't perfect. But she wasn't going to die right there and then. His hands were shaking. Too many close calls for this group. Had he started to care for them? He had sworn off that sort of thing and here he was worried about loosing them. Neil, Bethany, and Marygold. All much too close to death.

"You can't know or predict everything. But honestly like thumbs up, dude." Niah smiled and gave Oliver two thumbs up. "Other than Thor. Though I've never met him, cause he was dead, he's better now. I did meet his daughter though. Oh and his niece. I think, honestly, I have no idea how the family tree works for them. Like is Runa his aunt? Or like a third cousin twice removed? Definitely met his daughter though. But really that could have not happened? There are three realities bumping around my nogging. I'm certain Runa and Klara was in one of them. I hope they are doing okay. Did Runa find Lance again?"

Niah cut herself off, she was rambling. It was like getting your wisdom teeth removed, zero filters, she had to pull herself together. Yes. I know at least one Asgardian. Though only one would reasonably be here." She frowned, that meant Sparky had found Raynor. And she hadn't helped. She had been too distracted with the damn Hill's laws that she hadn't helped her friend in need. She had fucked up. "He's kind of a jerk, but he's better than some other people I know. Do you see someone with dark hair and a massive chip on his shoulder?" They'd have to find Flynn too she supposed. Did that mean others who had been taken by the Skrulls were still alive too?

"The Skrulls when they take people, what do they do with them? Like they don't kill them do they? And why? Like if they keep them what's the point?" She asked Dr. Larson. "Why do they do it anyway? Like what is the point of taking over people and the government of a world? I don't get it, the motivation."

Matt was strapped in this time. He hadn't unstrapped after he had sat down. He reached over and took Cass's free hand. The team was reuniting. The tensions would be high, he knew that. Everyone was upset, with good reason. They'd have to talk it through. For now, though they could just appreciate that the Secret Warriors would be in the same room again.

"We'll get through this Bonnie. We can get a plan made and maybe some food." He smiled. Food was good for making people feel better. That and tea, but that was the British in him. Consider Cass was also British she might enjoy a good cuppa too. Hopefully wherever Hawkeye was taking them had a stove, tea and food (in that order). He was normally a coffee person but wanting tea meant he was stressed too.

It felt so good to have held her mother's hand. As they hurried through the sewers she wanted that moment to just go on. Of course, it wouldn't but it was like finding something you had lost but hadn't realized how much it had meant to you until you realized where it was. The metaphor was getting away from her so she dropped it just soaking up the joy of being near the person who had given her life and raised her until she was seven and had made cookies and kissed booboos and taken her on walks in the woods and all those other things the Buckners had done for her. Was there a way to have both families? The Buckner's meant the world to her too, mind you she hadn't traversed realities to rescue them from prison.

She wanted to ask her mom a million questions and was afraid they'd all tumble out into one mess if she didn't gather them in order. What could she even start with? Who was her father, the other half of the equation that made Rose? Or did she ask about specific memories? Like the wolf in the woods, the one protecting her from an unseen enemy. Did her mom know the answer to that? Would her mom bake cookies again? What about the new memory that had surfaced of them running? Was that how Red had gotten her scar? She had been wearing a bandage.

"Did you know I was okay?" She asked quietly. Yes, Merlin said he kept their families informed about them monthly, but it wasn't the same as hearing your mom tell you that. What mattered though was that her mom hadn't abandoned her. That it had been for her safety and she had always been at hand ready to bring her home if needed. That's what Rose needed to hear. She needed to know she was wanted.

That was it! He spun around and punched Rosalia, not very hard, she might have a bruise, but he was done with her bull shit. He didn't care that Merlin was trying to 'friendship is magic' them. Rosalia had pushed him into a lake and been nothing but obnoxious the whole day. She hadn't given anything resembling useful just bitched about everyone else's ideas. And she had gone over a line.

He punched again. This time she fell to the ground. "Leave us alone. I don't care what you have to say. I don't want to hear you talk to me or Mathew again. Got it." He didn't turn around he just watched her, expecting a return attack and he wasn't going to let her get one in.

There was no way Andy was leaving camp. Unless Arthur decided to go...she would go with him to keep him safe. She'd kill all the monsters for him so he never had to if he didn't want to. "I want to stay too. I can help with air support if Gryf is willing to let me ride him." She offered. Andy hadn't even thought about possibly riding the Gryphon before right that moment, but it would be cool if the creature would let her.

"Hecate said I needed to talk to you." She said trying to sound sure of herself to the older girl Madalyne Crane. "She told me to look into your Hall of Records." That moment had been such a blur of information and death, but she wanted answers so she was going to get them. Even though she hated attention being on her, this was her group of people and only four others. She could keep her chin up for that.

Emily froze. She stared in abject horror as the light from Waverly's phone illuminated the dark room beyond the wall that had broken open. Her skin crawled and she would have sworn she could feel the madness seeping out from the room beyond. It was unfortunate that she was distracted because Waverly stupidly decided to climb through the hole before anyone could stop her. Em wanted to scream but nothing came out.

How could she be so stupid? Em's stomach twisted and someone new was joining them but she didn't have the mental capacity to pay attention as Marco was introducing himself. She was pale, paler than someone who worked in gardens had any right to be. The newcomer, Demi, was looking for water and a coin. The Greek's coin, no one here would have one of those. And behind her Waverly was failing the Sphinx's questions. Interference would be...forbidden. Waverly would be lucky to survive. If she could just answer two questions correctly, but there would be no coming back through this entrance.

Her mouth dried out. Someone...two someone's would have to join Waverly or leave her to her fate. If they came back alive maybe Emily could bring their minds back, but the chances were slim, especially if there weren't three of them. "Marco..." She looked at him fear in her features. Then at the Greek, "Who is Rosie?" She asked, the question seemed non-sensical in the face of what was behind her.

Niah didn't know what to think about the Greeks anymore. They all seemed mostly ready to join the fray even though their lives were on the line for a home that wasn't theirs, but still children? And knowing how the Greeks fought the children would probably be more danger and hindrance than a help.

She smiled, not sensing any Oathbreakers in their midst. That was reassuring. "I can join on the ship. It'll give me a good bird's eye view of the battle and report to you Nancy if needed." She'd be able to keep track of the enemies from the air better, especially with additional support. Her armor would be her ace in the hole for that.

One of the kids asked for help understanding the dire situation they were in. "That's a general idea of what we are against. The Titans are extremely powerful, thankfully most of the time they are trapped or doing their own thing. When they unite forces mountains fall and cities flood. World ending catastrophes happen. Them uniting with another force that is powerful in their own right is more than a little terrifying. It could wipe the Earth, even mortals wouldn't be able to ignore how horrific the carnage would be."

She explained, being very serious with the boy. She didn't want him coming into this battle thinking they had a lot of hope. Niah would be quite happy if he decided he was too scared and was evacuated so they didn't have to worry about what the little kids were up to. Even if the girl who looked even younger than the boy, seemed determined to join. The younger girl also stood close to the boy, a kinship had probably formed between them as they were the youngest, and if the boy left the girl might, just might, go with him.

Andy had picked her target, mostly by chance. The crying jumpsuit guy was a good enough target. Though, she did feel a little bad for picking on someone so weak apparently. She prepared to move in and punch him, but before she could she was stripped of every stitch on her. Fear pulsed through her. She did not want to be naked in front of Havok or any of the others. Anger also reared its head. Anger at the embarrassment and anger at the loss of her jacket. Oh and let's not forget actual literal hellfire going off.

Somehow though she kept her wits mostly about her. She was pissed. More pissed than anything else and even though she had yelped and reflexively covered herself she wanted revenge for the disappearance of her jacket. She launched herself at Empath ducking low taking a fighter stance and going for a gut punch. "That jacket was a gift asshole." She yelled.

He dodged. She swung again and he kept dodging. She hated this. It was like being back in the ring with someone who was just toying with her. Three swings and nothing but air. The fourth time she swung he caught her fist. She grinned. And let out a shock of electricity. Again it wasn't a big blast, she had definitely hit people harder with the electricity. He overreacted again. She rolled her eyes. Idiot.

Concentrate! Ed held the shield protecting the civilians as fire rained down on him. Ideas popped into his head, all of them he quickly tossed aside. He would not use his magic to kill. The summoned things that Loki had sent after them had been one thing, he could rationalize that they weren't real. But Klara and Runa were. They were people as was Loki so he wasn't about to summon a shield inside them and blow them up. That was a path he was not willing to take.

He couldn't keep up with the wounds everyone was taking. He'd have to triage them, healing only the worst wounds and hoping it was healed enough they wouldn't die anyway. He knew that could happen, the outside would look healed but inside the damage wouldn't have repaired. He had seen that happen with a cousin of his.

It looked like Bethany was in most need of his aid. Runa had skewered her, there was enough blood around he didn't need to gather any. He definitely was going to have to ask the group for a lock of their hair after this. He could heal better and faster that way. Also if any of them went missing he could use the hair to find them. He watched as her body knitted itself back together. She'd feel a whole hell of a lot better now. He was getting better.

Andy was a little torn. She wanted to go with her brother, but she wanted to speak with Crane. She also wanted to know what they were facing. She didn't know if she could provide anything for the debriefing. Andy glanced at Arthur, she could see he was upset about her saying Hecate's name and she felt even more guilty than she had. Andy promised herself she wouldn't bring it up in front of him again. It was too painful of memory that meeting for his sake she wouldn't be the one to remind him of it. How many of his classmates remained? She wondered. It was just him and Kiera left, wasn't it?

Entering the senate-house Andy's eyes went wide. There was no stopping it. She had only seen places like this in courthouses, which she didn't have fond memories of. Courthouses were places where people decided for you where you would be going. It was so different from the camp she had come from. If she had come here first she probably would have run away the first night, not that she hadn't considered it with the way Zeus cabin was at camp anyway. But then it had become home when her brother joined her.

She shivered thinking of the tiny alcove with the sleeping bag and the pictures of children who were long grown up. Her half-siblings she'd probably never meet. How many half-siblings lived? She stopped herself. Trying to stop being morbid. Maybe it was because of the lurking battle? Andy couldn't bring herself to ask a question, to get the Roman's to start talking and telling them what they knew.

Emily smiled and cheered with the others. She had felt the magic in Marco's words, they weren't directed at her though. They were directed at those less sure in their hearts. This place accepted all the soldiers, but that's what they were soldiers. Children of gods and the children of their children. They had power in their blood and souls. Bringing the war to them where they could prepare, where they had practiced their battles for years had been a bad choice.

When the earth trembled for a moment Em wondered if someone had let Hannible lose. But it wasn't right, it wasn't even a proper earthquake. Something she had experience with since she had lived at camp for five years now, that sixth line on her tattoo was just around the corner. She wasn't going to leave those ranks without having protected them.

Investigating the strange hole didn't give her any information but she passed the message to their highest-ranking member that was with them. It was up to them to pass it to the senate. "Anyone have a light? Or Waverly, can you make some light with your magic?" She asked the group. Hoping one of them had something to help investigate the hole.

Niah couldn't help but smirk at Mads and Nancy having Leandra take the weird vain seeming kid to help the fifth cohort. It was Leandra's cohort so it made sense and there couldn't be any arguing. Not now, not here, and please not in front of the Greeks. War was descending upon them and trying to cause dissension right would only lead to a worse fate.

"I don't mind staying." Niah said. Joining them in the Senate house. She trusted her cohort to do the tasks set before them. They were a well-trained group after all. She followed Mads and Nancy into the Senate. The Greeks following them. Gods there were some young ones among them. There was the girl who looked like she was ten at the most. She was small and malnutritioned. Did the Greeks have no one better to offer?

Niah wasn't paying attention to where they were, at least not till she got a text from Cass. It made a little of the stress she had lighten up. Cass was okay. And she wasn't texting a list of the dead. So whatever they had gotten into had ended with their little team intact. That was a relief. Her phone did seem to be trying to keep up with time zones. Talk about be jet-lagged. Good thing she had had a nice little nap under the help of some sedation and blood loss.

"We're meeting our team at the Jersey City Boardwalk." She told Dr. Larson. When she looked up she saw the look on Oliver's face. She knew that look. Had seen it enough times on her own when the world seemed so in danger there would be no way they could save it. "Oliver, we've got this. We have done so much already. You've done so much already. You figured this out ages ago. You're two steps ahead of everyone else. And we're getting the team together. And we've got extra help."

She was rambling a bit. God those drugs needed to get out of her system. Good thing they had a week. That at least gave her some time to get some walking in with her new super cool alien tech leg. She definitely was gonna play with that thing for a bit and let Sparky check it out. Cass's text told her that her buddy was good too, and had probably found Raynor, which was a relief. He might be a pain but he wasn't Flynn's level of pain in the ass. Yep, now she was just mentally rambling.

Secure in a seat this time, Matt tilted his head at the question of why they kept calling Folly a kid. "I don't know she just has that...kid-like quality." He shrugged. She was weird, and he was glad she was gone. A new person joined them and Matt tensed a little. He didn't like the idea of having an unknown on the ship. One that Andrew brought on. Another person they knew nothing about and could guarantee was safe. Though, Breacher, the guy who had had it out for Cass during the fight but had knocked himself out was gone as well. Left at Serval.

He didn't know much about the company, he'd ask later. He didn't care to continue the conversation at the moment. So, he sat in his seat thinking. Trying to come up with a plan, but it was hard to have a plan when you didn't know where or who the enemy was even. It could be anyone. The first thing they needed was a guaranteed way to figure out who was a Skrull and who wasn't. After that, they could deal with the Skrull.
