@Asuna Yuuki I see you forgot to address my second question (wheter we'd be staying in the same room or not), also remember that Minako left the tavern right after my post because she believes in her "Strike Hard, Strike Fast" motto so she tends to not let her arguments cool off before moving on to the next deal. Either way, that reply of yours and (possibly from @PKMNB0Y Fujiwara as well as @Aerandir Fenros) were the last things she heard from you. Unless, of course one of you use the party chat, or send her a PM.
@KoL

Is it possible to assassinate fun?

Well, either you kill the party, or the party kills you.
Well, what can I say? As long as we're able to fool around, I want to keep this as fun as the anime/books are when they aren't being serious. Even if there isn't a 'Harem King' around. Of course when it's time to play serious I'll drop the fool act, but until then...

Let's keep the party runnin'!

Anyway, I made sure chaos ensued again, after my post. Soni @Mtntopviewand Marcus[demonspade64] might be interest at what I've made. Hehehe.

Oh hell, sorry @Kitsune I was writing my post before seeing you did one, or else I would have threw the poor Orin a bone or two. I'm feeling bad for the guy.
OOC: Now on to my post, 'cause I can't wait.

At the day of the trip

Yuriha ran up the mountain side excitedly jumping between the tree branches like a ninja despite all the extra gear she was forced to carry as a part of her beginner's trial. She however, had the care of not spliting up too much from her other two peers, because even if she did knew that Zeke was observing everything from afar with his aura sense, Yuriha didn't want to leave Marcus alone with Sonitus, who she didn't trusted at all. So, if the shady guy tried to do anything with the newest member of her family, Yuriha would be there to defend him on spot.

"I wonder, how would it feel... playing the knight who saves the damsel in distress just for once." Yuriha said to herself in as low a voice as she could, because she know they would have all their senses enhanced by the devil transformation by now, so if she were careless they could hear her delusional dreams.

Yuriha stopped her branch hopping not too long after she began it however. The reason was not because she had become tired, because different from her peers who had only the little strenght enhancement granted by the devil transformation, Yuriha had both her physical powers from her kitsune heritage and the ones she borrowed from the Void Dragon King.

Truth be told, the only thing limiting Yuriha's capacities is the fact that she's so young, therefore, both her body and her magic aren't developed enough. It was probably that fact, she having no clear strengths or weaknesses, that made Zeke choose the position of pawn for her so to not force her growth in any particular direction while crippling the others, despite the fact that this much raw power ment she would cost a bunch of his remaining pawns.

In a matter of moments her two companions found out what made Yuriha stop briefly a few moments ago when she came back running towrds then while holding a whole beehive in one hand and licking her licking her honey covered lips lips a thieving bear. It wasn't much long before they found themselves being chased by a bunch of japanese bees hellbent on avenging the loss of their house.
Oh, thanks God we've finally moved on. I don't have any problem with interactions along the way, 'cause that's exactly the intention of playing an RPG with other people, the problem is when they muddle out in DBZ levels of compressed time.

Either way, I acknowledge that RL can be a bother some times (specially on days like today), so I apologize if it seemed like I was rushing you guys into action. If it bothered you at all I'm really sorry. Feel free to call me on this if I ever do the same.

I just mentioned how I'm not into a chain of epic boss fights. But the time skip allows us to skip straight into interaction which is the point of debate here. For example, it could be during the meeting on the discussion on how to take the boss. Or the dinner/celebration that occurs before the first boss fight. Those are places where plenty of interaction can occur that is non-fight based.

Regarding the quests, generally MMOs (traditional ones) have really simple starting areas. There is no epic quest to be had or complex chain line. As we've seen in the anime/books, SAO is more of a traditional MMORPG, meaning theres less of being led into a linear quest line and more players deciding what they should do. Furthermore, the known side quests in SAO level 1 are basically a "hunt X item for X exp" with the exception of "Anneal Blade". I highly doubt legit MMO developers would make a flood of massive hidden quests in the starting area of the game that is basically themeless. Regardless of its size, Floor 1 has never been mentioned again in the series except for being a safe and extremely large floor that can serve as a HQ for the army and players who gave up. Floor 1 has been explained to the only floor without a theme. There isn't any underlying story or premise to it.

It'd be a lot more interesting if we started these quests further into the game where our characters have developed into a cast full of variety AND we're in a more themepark centric level like maybe one with aquatic monsters or treetop battles or whatever variety we can come up with. Also, I don't intend for Natto to be the highest level/strongest fighter or anything along those cliche lines. Thats why I was asking Cait earlier if I could make an information broker type character because going on a long chain of epic boss fights is exactly what I don't want to do.

I guess you're wrong on one thing friend. The 1st floor s well s the 2nd have been ostensibly detailed on SAO Progressive which follows Asuna's POV of the beginning of the game. To the point that the 1st book of the side series being way thicker than the 1 st of the regular series which is the basis for most of the anime series story.
@Caits I've checked the guide book to see if I could find anything about how one does start a guild but there's no info on that topic there. So, how do I do too start one? I was thinking about Minako creating the Aincrad Arts and Crafts Association to gather all SAO's PC merchants under one banner sometime later, after I've raised the funds to do that.
I'm in whatever you say, but I think you should have a max time limit to wait before moving things forward. @Drake Baku
