You extended this argument way past the point it has any meaning. A story has only one purpose, which is being fun. As long as it fulfills this there's no such thing as a wasted premise, just an evolving story, specially when it's a player driven narrative.

You've earned my dislike not because you have made your opinion known, but because you was trying to push it on us.

I must have the wrong idea about the World of Wasted Dreams. Based on what I read about it so far and the comparison so far, I assumed (no doubt my first mistake) that we were in a world where everything is trying to kill us, madness and disease are as rampant as water and dust, and so forth.

<Snipped quote by dictionary>

Yeah, that's me all over. I just thought it might be unrealistic in this unending, inexplicable, nightmarish miasma of death, rot, and torment that several characters might fall in love at first sight, dash passionately past the rat monsters and tentacle fiends, and nip off to the a nice graveyard for sexytimes.

As far as I know, you got the impression of WWD perfectly fine and correct. However, it's exactly when the world is all fucked up and all hope is lost that people tend to give in to their vices. In Maria's case, they are basically feeding and bedding girls who fancy her interest.

@ClocktowerEchos

On my end, you're ok, a minor cosmetic change wouldn't invalidate a character that has been already approved.

Right then, I'll simply accept this as a fundamentally different world than Bloodborne's, which is to be expected really. The central premise of the Souls series is that the world and everything it in it is doomed to entropy, which I suppose doesn't exactly make for a thrilling narrative. Go ahead with your love stories if it pleases you, I only ever meant to ask what I thought was a reasonable question; just don't expect my character to drop her morals and clothes at the first sight of a pretty face in affirmation of the human spirit.

That's why we have mind control via blood magic, right? Seriously now, you don't have to do anything that you don't want to, if you feel it's bothering you just say it and we will leave you be.
@Zeroth

To answer your question long ago, no, Kenji did not kill the man. Instead, he severed his neck just enough to let him drown in his own blood while he twitches along the floor in unbearable but still conscious pain.

Somehow, I feel that letting the poor fellow die, would be more merciful, but I can't expect that of you, can I?

Are we going to insert sexual fanfiction into our bloody, grim, disease-ridden monster-infested, nightmarish existential crisis story? Doesn't that seem about out as place as a My Little Pony flash game as the pre-eldritch-abomination miniboss in Bloodborne's Nightmare Frontier?

What? How come sexual related (as long as it's within the Guild's lines) be any wrong on a dark fantasy world? Ain't that a far too prudish train of thought?

I have never heard of this Bathory.

<Snipped quote by KoL>

Kinky this is

I don't blame you, Bathory is kind of a shady figure. And yes, her story is kinky, but true, she's one of the most prolific serial killers in history.

Anyway, here's the video I mentioned, that's where I get the inspiration whenever I do a character based on Bathory:

@Spriggs27@Savo@ClocktowerEchos
You got half the answer right, as a consolation prize, I won't have Maria stick your characters dry like a milk shake.

But enough games, now is the time for the big reveal. Maria is actually Elizabeth Bathory (look at her name, gosh) a woman that went famous in history as pretty much Dracula distaff counterpart. And yes, she's prime Yuri material, since in life she only ever killed young virgin girls and bathed in their blood. I'll get an illustrative presentation later.
@Savo@Spriggs27@ClocktowerEchos

You are all so unperceptive, people. Her real identity isn't even hidden, for hell's sake, just look at her CS an you'll find it.
@KoL Fear not, there's always yuri :^)

So anyways, right now IC everyone is waking up from a nice nap all bound up and watching as Maria comes in?

Mmm... don't tempt me, I might like it. Specially considering Maria's TRUE identity. If you can guess it right, I'll give you a prize. ;)

Also you are right on your questions about the current situation, unless it changes when someone else posts (which I think is highly unlikely).
@Lugubrious

Well, I appreciate your suggestions, but Maria clearly follows a Castlevania theme (of having the Belmonts' famed whip didn't give it put, I don't know what will) that's the reason behind my choices.

@Spriggs27

Your comment is highly misinterpretable, rebel on the fact that I'm not home now, or else I would punish you with an appropriate GIF.
@Zeroth I'd say it's nearly impossible for that to have happened. Simple falling over someone wouldn't kill them unless they were already on a precarious situation. Sure, it can be a big pain in the neck, but killing like this is just too silly.

I'll leave the final judgment to @TheWindel, though.

"Well, if it isn't a novelty? I barely came back and already have more work to do?" Maria thought as she traversed the dark and muddy main street of Iredele on her way to the temple. Sure, with the last one of the previous group having met this demise a couple weeks ago, it was more than in time for... erm, fresh-blood to be brought in the World of Wasted Dreams.

“Ut absolutam gratiam tuam.” Maria said as she entered the not-so-sacred hall, making sure to throw a few rusty coins on the offering box as she crossed the threshold and walked between the rows of derelict benches towards the stairway leading to the basement. Once she arrived at the place from where the new presences were coming from, Maria pushed the heavy door open with almost preternatural ease, probably leading anyone by it to stumble on the grimmy stone floor and assessed the situation before taking any action.

"Would you all care to stop, please?" Maria drew Dark Titania and shot a warning shot close to old man's feet "What someone like you is even doing here? If you don't want to die for real get the hell away from here." Maria gave an icy glare towards the old man, making sure for him that she wasn't bluffing.

With that resolved (or so she though), Maria turned to the newbie hunters, reload her gun before holstering it again and waited to for their reaction with arms crossed under her bust and her back reclined against wall, blocking their only way out of the basement.
@Demarcus: I find your character kind of bland, to say the truth. Please don't take this personally, 'cause it's not meant in a harmful way. I can even offer help if you want to improve him.

However, I don't see any point that goes against the rules, so it falls under @TheWindel's decision, really.
