@KoLnooooooooooooooooooo lol we do need to keep things somewhat balanced lol

Sure, haha. Just when I was going to ask if non-canon subclasses were ok, since I was coveting a Dark Knight idea. Off to do a Necromancer, then. Mwahaha.
Interesting, with this line up, even I am getting swayed to doing a warrior type so that we can form a warrior guild.
@KoL In fact, if I was to pick a faction that was too weak in this fight, I'd pick the Angels. Remove the GM characters, and people who ditched for RL/conflict reasons, and you have our battlefield line up from this battle it'd be...

Miyu and Eve. What a staggeringly potent roster.

But, you are looking just at this battle. I'm considering the bigger picture. For example, if I had dropped Victoire instead of Ciel, I'd have to pull her punches really hard to explain the Machina surviving in the long run. She would die in a blink in face of Eos, sure, but no one else in the Machina army would be able to take on her bag of mid-to-high level tricks, since their biggest advantage (The Cloud) couldn't touch magic.

In the whole course of the RP the Machina have undeniably been hit the hardest. This is where I draw my conclusions from.
@KoL I really do disagree that the Machina are too weak.

In this battle, the only time the Angels and Demons fought each other was when Eve divebombed Henrietta. That's literally one case. Every other attack was Machina vs Demon or Machina vs Angel.

Unless floodtalon comes up with a plan, the Machina are about to have just beaten Heaven and Hell's combined forces, with only scratch damage to the objective they're supposed to defend, while only having lost the Cloud from player loss, and maybe Grafdakka.

I didn't said that the Machina are weak per se. It's just that none of the other factions need even more heavy-hitters. On the Machina side there's only Graf (who's unreliable) and Unit-T (who's likely to not appear/be effective on every battle. Both of which suffer from a problem when fighting in cramped spaces. The other factions have too much 1st grade characters already, we need to even things a bit.

That's of course excluding GM characters since I am restricting myself to work on the same rules as everyone (excusing plot reasons), meaning that I'm unlikely to drop Eos/Ni-Mu on every battle just to balance sides and keep myself from playing other characters. So, the Machina need more balance.
@thewizardguy Access OUT of the nexus is generally extremely restricted. It's a power that used to be everywhere in people's backstories and powers, but then when people tried to actually use them, the GMs were like "Wait, what, no, you can't do that!" A whole bunch of people basically have non-canon backstories because of it.

Indeed, it's just a matter of lack of foresight. If this RP ever sees a version 2.0, we'll be sure to specify that, along with a lot of extra details that we chose to add to story in the long run to give this RP a plot more engaging than just FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!

In an unrelated note, @thewizardguy's theme song remembered me of something important.

@Awesomoman64, are you alive, guy? We haven't heard any news of you in a long while. I want to say that since this battle is almost done with, it's a good time for you to come back if you feel like it.
@thewizardguy

Interesting character, though we have some few issues that most be addressed:

First and foremost is the lack of a faction since we really don't take neutral characters normally. However, since there's one exception to this and I had an idea for a good introduction to this character, I'm willing to give a pass on it for this moment. In the end of the day, he'll likely have to choose a faction to belong to (really he needs to join the Machina since they are too weakened as is). However, he can join as factionless if @TheWindel agrees.

Powerwise he's ok, however, that item he has has another problem that can be addressed with a bit of correction and possibly be used as a plot point in the short future. The Nexus is a locked world, for plot relevant reasons and none is supposed to be able to go in or out without authorization for the "Gatekeeper". However, if he doesn't start jumping in and out of the setting, I can think of a way to work that thing that can be relevant to the story.

I'll talk with @TheWindel later and then, send you a PM with whatever is it that we decide on this issue. For the time being, you can relax and get acquainted with the RP. @Lmpkio will tell you anything you need to know, but don't hesitate to ask us as well.
This looks intriguing, indeed. The description makes me feel a SukaSuka vibe. Not saying that it's similar, because it certainly isn't. Still it has the atmosphere.

I'll keep an eye on this an join if I can, but I can't say it for sure, now.
Indeed, indeed. I don't get the idea of joining a RP but keep on doing solo posts over and over again. I understand that some people want to play the brooding/aloof/silent archetype but this rarely works in a group narrative.

Either way, @Bushman501, don't worry, Eris would not go so far as to keep pushing Linda to drink more than she can handle. As for drinking age, I guess that something like this might not be relevant within the context of a WW I Europe analogue like Europa. I mean, if Gallia is ok sending children to the battlefield, they can't be against these same children drinking. I think that anyone above 12 would be fair. I mean, on certain parts of Italy, up to this day, they dip pacifiers, or a piece of cloth in whine and give it babies. In the end, I really think that it depends on the specific morals of the community where one grows up. The more traditional and removed from the modern view of morals, the more likely children are to take on adult traits/responsibility from a younger age.

Even so, Eris being a teacher might not approve of children under 14~16 drinking. Just like she doesn't like the idea of children going to war. Maybe she can see a child younger than that as being able to assume a few simple adult responsibilities, but certainly not as being able to deal with their weight very well. Definitely, 14 is youngest age anyone can be considered able to decide stuff by themselves.

However, Linda is fair game, since she seems to be adult (young and unripe, but still adult) in every possible way, under Eris' view. The experience might do her good.

PS: Oh, geez, just look at what I did. Somehow this post because a mini sociology essay. Lol.
@Banana Might wanna make it a "when at near death, full heal and come back angry/buffed, limit 1/battle." That'd get similar effect, without having the revival problem.

This can work. As long as @TheWindel is ok with it.
@TheWindel
If it isn't too much trouble, can I ask to give Eve a new ability in her arsenal?

I will nerf if I need to.

Nope, not this one. We have already banned any form of in battle revival and second lives since death is cheap in the Nexus. We won't complicate battles by opening the can of revive (if we give it to you, we have to give it to anyone else who wants).

You can have the second half of the buff without the need to die and come back.
