Well we have 3 decently-powered characters and one Vassal, so this is going to be.... interesting.

Indeed, it'll be very interesting to see the bloody massacre of three poor souls who happened to get in the way of a conceited, jerk lizard.
@Lonewolf685@thewizardguy@Lmpkio

Nice tangle you got up there, guys.
Well, I have to give pat pat on Clean's back. Sociopath or not he's the only person that noticed the way the Captain talks about the Princess.
Well, that's an interesting subjects that comes across very frequently in the RPs I take part as either a GM or Co-GM.

I think that it's a matter of respect and mutual understanding, really. If you feel bad when people ignore parts of your posts (possible going out of your way to remember them via OOC or PM), you shouldn't ignore others' posts as well. It's a reciprocal relationship between you and your RPing peers.

That said, every rule has its exception and, as long as it's not harming the RP in any way, I hardly care for what the people I play with do. It's a tad too presumptuous of anyone to demand that people do this or do that just to fulfill their writer's ego.

And, let's be sincere, some of us may not even have the time to do anything more than skim read before posting a reply. Or they may read, get distracted by something else and forget some important part.

However, when it's a continuous problem then it has to be addressed by the GMs as soon as it's noticed. Negligence leads to conflicts and disinterest, both of which can kill a RP quite fast.

This happened multiple times at the main RP I'm Co-GMing at the moment, since people were prone to forget about pretty blatant events (like, a certain character who has grown infamous killing waves of PCs by gassing entire battlefields at once) until it's too late. "How the hell have I been breathing corrosive poison gas for 15 minutes and not noticed?" is the single most used complaint when players find their characters dead out of nowhere there.

After some time we finally worked it out with everyone, but the amount of frustration from people not reading/not paying enough attention to others' posts almost killed that RP 4 times or so.

Even so it's still funny to see people dying to very loud/flashy and very avoidable wide area attacks that they failed to acknowledge until it's too late.
Hm Hm.

Indeed. I'm not half as annoyed by the lack of IC activity (given that it's just a few days) as I'm by the lack of notices from pretty much everyone.
@KoL

"Are" not "ate".

I don't know what you are talking about. :3
Well, I guess that I'll leave Viola out of action for the night as well. This way we only have the scenes of Natus and the mystery man at the church, the interrogations of the Captain and the hot springs group to resolve before moving forward.

Much like Gradon she probably has gone back to sleep and recover from her injuries.

The Golden Sheep

"Are you feeling alright, Clemmons, Brandeau?" The Captain asked as she set her drink aside and taking a moment to look at the duo before her. "I don't mind repeating myself, but I just said the answers to those questions literally a minute ago," she added before righting her position.

"Anything regarding the journal and Wagnil's reports are classified. As soon as I handed it to Orello's commander, there's nothing that we can do about it than to trust their judgment. That's how the Military is supposed to work, you know it, right?" The Captain made a pause to see if the two were following her reasoning as she explained the basics to them once more. Sonata made as much of an effort as possible for the two of them to not think that she was patronizing them, given the fact that these Cadets seemed to have a problem with misunderstanding stuff. "As for the monster, it's unknown because no one knows what it's. That should be a given. We can only be certain that it's not of human cause. The area beyond Orello, all the way up to the border of the Duchy's Lands, is known as World's End Pass because of how many attempts of colonizing is failed. Despite being resource rich, it's pretty much impossible for humans to settle up there now."

"Now, listen," the Captain's voice took a much somber tone as she continued speaking while looking straight into Althea and Leon's eyes, "I know what you may be thinking. I was in your place while I was young. I know that you want to dive deeper into that mystery and possibly avenge your fallen comrade. But it's at moments like this that you should let us adults take care of things. I sincerely believe that all of you will become fine soldiers and lead the Empire to a better age. But, you need to learn to have patience. If you act without thinking you'll only be putting more lives in danger, including yours." The Captain finished her speech placing a hand over Althea's shoulder.

"Is there anything else that you want to ask?"
@KoL My case is that if you say "They're puppets" that makes the next statement of "Go kill them" nonsensical. If you're asserting that they're puppets, then you're asserting that they're not the real targets. And with the whole gilded cage thing, you could make a compelling case for "let's go after the puppet masters to free your beloved faction leaders". But "They're unwilling puppets, that's why you must kill them" makes no sense to me.

I see, you are still interpreting this wrong. She didn't say or imply that they are unwilling puppets, that they are puppets. Many revolutions happened during the course of history simply to overthrow a government that was seen as a puppet of another power.

She pretty much said that the leaders are corrupt and know of everything, being no more than figure heads that will happily keep on being puppets as long as it benefits them. For using everyone, they naturally deserve to be punished.
@KoL
Already, Bonesword's going to bluntly say "No" to this offer. Just thought I'd say it before I posted it (although I'm waiting on @Awesomoman64 to post before I do anything big). I'll probably post as Frog tomorrow if I get around to it, although that's unlikely since I'll be riding in a car all afternoon.

Well, he's entitled to his own answer, so I don't see a problem here.
