There was a Megaman X? That was all very interesting information that makes me want to find out more about the lore you have stocked up on Heaven.

Oh, Heaven is actually quite full of interesting lore. You are very welcome to try to take a look into it.
@KoL

Nerd.

*Bows*

Thank you for the compliment, oh Great One...
PS: By the way, if you got a Megaman X vibe from the lore above, know that it's intentional. And, if you didn't not, people... check your video game lore.
@Spiffy

Let me add my bit to it as well, based on what has been said IC up to now.

First, Hohenheim, the Alchemist of Genesis, claimed that she was the creator of Nexus' humanity (presumably based on humanity from outside of it... probably?) but, for some reason went on a self-imposed exile, leaving them to fend for themselves. While people should take Hohenheim's words with a huge grain of salt, it's also very obvious that she has the power to back it up. Her reasons, and the truth about what happened are yet to be seen.

After mankind was left on their won, they found that fighting the Angels and Demons, not to say even surviving on the very aggressive land of the Nexus was a really harsh task. They were the underdogs being kicked by everyone for ages, even with their rising technology, it was harsh to get an edge over the other factions.

It was then that Eos came in, like a literal Messiah and gave them the power and technology that they enjoy today. With this, Mankind (or better, their Machines) are finally able to fight off the other faction at an equal footing. Eos' origins and history are a mystery to all but herself and a very select few, the only thing that's know was that she was found/met for the first time in some ancient ruins.

Eos' technology and power is in a totally different level than that of the other Machina. Even eons after she has been leading them, no scientist was ever able to crack down how or why Eos can even operate. On a hand she looks like she was made using super outdated tech (as Hohenheim said once IC, Eos was made in a world where the most advanced tech available were smartphones), on the other she is so complex that no one can be even fathom what her creator was thinking.

The part about she having a Sun Goddess', more specifically Amaterasu, heart as her power core (the reason why it's called Amaterasu Drive) is known by some members of the Machina and seems to be the key point of why she's so different from everyone else and why Eos is extremely deadly to Demons, in fact, some theorize that she was built as a Demon Hunter android. She doesn't make secret of this part of her, but also doesn't go out of her way to tell it to anyone.

Oh, and for some reason, Eos is also a literal idol among her people. Her performances don't seems to come from being made a music machine, it's more like she actually has a soul behind her singing and eventual guitar performances.

Anyway, this is pretty much all the information regarding Eos and the Machina that have been said IC up to now. You are welcome to look into more of it in case you still want more answers.
Yep, though, I'm wondering how many soldiers were defeated up to now. I'll di a count of it later, but Iguess that you all have slaughtered enough for us to call it a day. Anyway, the scene will keep on going until the weekend, when I have time to move us forward.
PS: The only really different ruin in the region is the temple-like one I have described in my last post, when I've given the general appearance of this whole area.

One this scene with the prisoners is over, we'll go further in, then I can add a few more details that were harder to spot from afar.
I've been thinking about this for a while, but what is everyone's image of the ruin? Because since I read in one of the posts somewhere that it appeared to be a church, I've been going with the assumption that we're in an abandoned village of some sort.

It's not really going to change anything, but I wanted to know everyone's thoughts.

I most just thought old stone walls.

These two match the closest to what had been established by the Captain before this mission began. Remember that she said that the area is dotted with ruins of failed colonization attempts.

A church is usually the strongest building in an old village, so that's what is closest to what I was thinking. Anyway, there are other derelict buildings around as well.

I imagine it like a fort with ruined defensive walls and makeshift barricades.

This is really not the case. The only fort on this whole region is Orello, just as have been said IC ever since the characters arrived there.
@GarlandDaHero

I'll take a look at your character later, preferably once it's finished.
Poor Evan. You don't know what you are saying. The last thing you'd wish to do is know Eris' mother.
@BCTheEntity @Silvan Haven

Just to let you and anyone else know, Juno is still in Celestia (usually). She's only grounded from taking place in normal battles. Just like Iona and Hohenheim. They can be talked to and or interested but just can't fight unless some good reason comes up.

If you want to know more about them or the setting itself, be our guest. We have lots and lots of ideas and lore that we never use because there are not many people seeking this info. Whether it's IC or OOC, we are glad to answer this kind of question, especially if it spurs interesting IC action.
