More like because none of them ever did anything worthy of note but had the gall to call themselves Juno-killing monstrosities. When you are that proud but can't back your words with actions while being a "champion" to your kind, it's easy to put your whole race to ridicule. Harpies are nothing more than loud neighbors that people in Celestia tolerate because they serve as good cannon fodder. Nothing more, nothing less. At least until they prove themselves.

Well, that's the intention. You just have to get going on it, when you have time, probably after the next battle, since we'll likely be having it start in very short order.

What makes you all think that Harpies have any form of special importance to the Heavens? Sincerely, as far as troops go, they are middle to low class when compared to the actual stuff that Heaven has to offer. The only thing they seem to have in excess is self importance and ego that doesn't match the powers they can dish out. Also, the social norms you mention are mostly an assumption on the players' side that never ever gets addressed IC because people quite never do anything on Celestia.

IC shows the fact that Hell is historically the most active faction. Either people are true masochists here or there's something else of interest there.

@thewizardguy I'm tempted to suggest that you have him meet up with Maceroy, since I half-need something to do with him anyway, given that the Harvester is going to be occupied with the whole digital charting mission for a while. And maybe their interaction would be interesting, or at least eventful, given that Maceroy rather detests demons, especially those that are essentially his opposite in how they act.

EDIT: Whup, never mind. Windel's got a better idea.

Actually, not. This is a side quest that he can work on while not in battle, which should begin at any moment now, I'm just waiting for @TheWindel's word before beginning that.

By the way, there's nothing forbidding Mace from joining the Harvester on this trial. Since they are partners, I supposed that was a given, but well...

People are en-masse joining the machine because Eos is the most reasonable leader, and the Machina has good spokespeople. Maybe have the leaders of the other factions realize that they're losing soldiers to the Machina and have some sort of 'recruitment campaign'?

Personality:
Kinda mean to most people, making crude jokes or insulting others viciously. On stage she's the complete opposite, with the usual idol personality of pleasing the fans. But really she just likes to have fun whether it's in battle or in the club. She takes a little bit of time to warm up to people, but she's super nice once you're actually friends.
History:
Originally created as an entertainment android for soldiers in the Nexus, she was accidentally given extensive coding for combat including handling a large variety of firearms, melee weapons, explosives, making her an amazing soldier. Yet she still retained a large amount of her idol programming, so she figured she might as well do both. Now she works at the new club that opened up in Hyperion, The Nile. She's pretty popular, so it's not unusual to see her on stage or behind the DJ booth pumping some tunes.
Powers:
EMP Shielding: After an embarrassing defeat at the hands of a certain demon with a mass EMP grenade she has since upgraded so she herself is not shut down by EMPs. A majority of her equipment is still affected though.
Eyes: Her eyes have been upgraded several times so she can track enemies through heat, motion, and electricity. Can be shut off by EMP tech, however her normal vision will still work.
Upgraded Sense: Most of her senses in general are finely tuned, with the nose of an experienced bloodhound, the ears of an elephant, etc.
State of the Art: She has reflexes and strength beyond any human, able to lift a full car above her head and react to bullets being fired at her from less than 5 feet away. She's also much more durable than any human, due to her 'skin" being made out of a highly advanced titanium cloth hybrid. She still biologically identical to a human though, in all the ways one might think...
Weapons:
The Mic: Assault rifle with armor piercing rounds, underbarrel is a grenade launcher. She carries a variety of grenades like any good Machina soldier, but her favorite are the incendiary grenades.
Vinyl Scratcher: A gladius about 29 inches long, made with micro blades on the edge that vibrate rapidly to cut through armor. Micro blades can be disrupted with EMP tech.
Turntable: Plasma shield mounted on her left forearm, normally 18 inches in diameter but can be quickly held in front of her and expanded to cover her whole body from enemy fire. Can be disabled with EMP tech.
Sliders: Dual energy pistols which fire shock rounds. Kept holstered on her hips at all times, even outside of combat.
Equipment:
Auto Hacker: Jacks into most electronic security, taking a minute max to hack into whatever.
Breach Charges: Charges to break through what can't be hacked, can be remote detonated or set on a timer.
Other:
Wears this on stage and on the battlefield.

There are free other Machina NPCs aside from Eos and Bastion, who's owned by @TheWindel. In this case you probably should either try asking more things of one of them, or go after another PC.

The one who should be able to help you the best on this talk is Krieg. Sadly, @Lucius Cypher went AWOL on us so you'll probably have to find someone else to help your character in this effort.

We are just trying to give people more options of things to do, just like mentioned not long ago.

Think Tron and you are on the right track of mind. What Eos asked if for him to chart the Machina cyberspace. How to get there is another part of the task. I'm sure that he can find a way.

That said, I magine that Nadia would be quite distraught by such a tomboyish princess like Seyrun, who doesn't even introduces herself properly as a member of a royalty. She can probably try to call Seyrun on her manners, if she feels like it.
