@KoL

I have an idea for a character that's a member of both light and dark because she'd have Disassociative Identity Disorder (DiD)

I'm afraid that won't do. Please just pick one side or the other. Also, if possible, avoid mentally ill characters, unless you are willing to roleplay them consistently, instead of taking advantage of the "cool" traits and forgetting the reason why they are called illnesses in first place.

The issue I was talking about the appearances is less about the pictures and more about you not overdoing things with the descriptions in game. I would like to avoid gory or disturbing stuff in this as much as possible. You can have those powers but avoid going graphical.

Also, I can't approve of any form of power to see people's fears just because it could lead to a lot of extra work in order to think about what everyone she looks at fears, even if it's just a vague idea or anything like this, it's still a chore. Not to say that it would force everyone to have to label their fears and forcefully act based on them, which can lead to a whole other set of problems.

As far as the specific powers go, no unblockable attacks, or pretty much insta-kill attacks like burying people alive would be a pretty good beginning for a review.

@Noxx

You're welcome.
By the way, @Unlucky0013, go post!

I can say that that magic is too powerful. For a number of reasons in fact. Not only are those Avatars too numerous (making her way more flexible powerwise than any other girl), their combination of powers can lead to broken effects with ease.

- Disturbing activation imagery aside, the ability to effectively read people's mind and find out their fears on a constant basis can lead to a lot of roleplaying problems, especially since no one is likely to keep that information at hand the whole time as well as the fact that any effect that involving probing other people's minds comes out as borderline godmodding. I'm not saying this is your intention, but this is what it it's from a GM POV.

- Death does attacks that negate any sort of defense and can phase through almost anything, making the fight a seriously one-sided deal.

- Burying people alive is a big, big nope. That's way too lethal.

- Thunder is mostly ok.

- Iron maiden is nope, not only it involves body horror, it's also extremely lethal.

- Pain is ok as long as it can be stopped somehow, instead of growing infinitely more powerful by soaking damage.

- The spider is ok, but again, it's delving too far into disturbing imagery.

- Darkness is pretty ok.

- Eyes are also pretty ok, but again, delving too deep into both body horror and disturbing imagery.

I guess that you should reevaluate your idea for this character. Despite the fact that this is a dark magical girl story, it doesn't mean that it's made to be disturbing and or uncomfortable for anyone playing. Not only the themes, but also the imagery on your CS are very, very hard to deal with. Fear based powers are a good idea but it doesn't mean that your character should be a walking nightmare.

Also, the fact that she doesn't seem like she would mingle in a Japanese high school, is a pretty big problem, since the RP takes place on Japan. As a Westerner, she's pretty out of place, unless there's a reason for her to be there which your backstory doesn't seem to mention.

@ERode

Very well then. She’s accepted by me; await the Co-GM’s opinion.

The same. She's ok on my end.
@ERode

Your CS seems quite ok. However, if you could clarify what you meant by this sentence, it would be better for us:

Magical girls were only magical for as long as they were ‘girls’ after all, and though her brother may have been blessed with having an ‘extraordinary’ life, Maiko’s own prospects were so much dimmer.
Archer - Sir Tristan

"Worry not, Master. Even though this war is such a sad event, your purity shines with the stark radiance of a wintery moon. There's no reason for you to be ashamed, even in the presence of your Lady," Tristan's said as he materialized, standing beside his Master. The Archer's voice didn't betray any ulterior motives for such praise; it was merely an act of him following his feelings after noticing the unrest taking a hold over the young maiden who summoned him into this world.

"I'm the Archer class Servant that shall be fighting by your side in this Holy Grail War. No matter what awaits us in the future, you can count on my unerring bow as long it's the will of my Master that I lend my help to your cause," Tristan said, greeting the other present at the table with a courteous bow.

All the while, the Archer remained armored, never taking the seat that was readied for him but rather remaining right by Hakuno's side, standing tall above all else. After all, how could he, a mere knight, take a seat at a table set up for his Master and her allies?

This wasn't the Round Table, regardless of the infatuation of the Tohsaka household's Lady with Britain and its culture, the fact that there was visible imbalance in the positions of power of those sitting by it was easily noticeable. No, even if it was the very same Round Table he once knew, Tristan had no place on it after he left Camelot. Thus he stood by his position, guarding his Master, as a knight should rightfully be.
Arianna Aquarian

"Well, I guess this answers the question..." Aria sighed deeply as everyone else rushed straight into the goblin horde, hacking and slashing without rhyme or reason. "It's not like I can turn a blind eye now," she said to herself before charging ahead with a speed that rivaled Ange's, thanks to the wind that propelled her feet.

As soon as Aria was about as far from the goblins as Evam, she jumped high up in the air, letting the fall add momentum to her next opening move—a kick right into the face of whatever goblin was unfortunate enough to not be able to get away from her landing zone, followed by a another blast of wind, sending any foes close to her flying.

However, if there was a difference in the way that Aria fought, compared to Ange and her knights, as well as the dragon girl, it was in the fact that, so far, none of Aria's attacks had the intent to kill behind them. Instead of cutting the goblins to pieces, she knocked them out, sundered their weapons, and blasted them away with powerful gusts. The way she weaved around the battlefield was akin to a dance, especially when accompanied by Evam's song and occasional bits of magical rhymes whenever she used her powers.

"You guys are terrible dance partners, y'know? Why don't we wrap things up and call it a day before you get your asses kicked even harder by someone who's not as forgiving as me?" Aria said to the nearest group of goblins. She could only hope that they get the message and retreat instead of trying to overpower them with sheer numbers.

She could always pose as transfer student for masquerading reasons. Obviously she has to manage her dojo as well.

That could work. We will see what we can do with this idea and make a post addressing her later.

Anyway, you are free to transition from night to day as well. Leave her at the school and we'll think about something.
Good evening everyone. I am curious if you have spots left open for more members of this lovely crew? This rp has stirred my imagination and I'm eager to get to work on fabricating my character should you still be accepting.

In fact we do.

Welcome aboard, I guess.
