Current I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Hi. If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am.

You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

I put jalapenos in almost everything I eat

Kind of the same. Instead of peppers directly, I use hot sauce on nearly everything. Or at least something "spicy". I've been using this Japanese spicy BBQ sauce made by Bachan's; it's alright if you want something more "soy saucey" in terms of consistency.
Going to bump this thread with a quick request: Allow people to set their own time zone on the guild so it displays on the "posted/logged on/etc X mins/hours/days ago" things. The guild's current time is hours ahead of me and while military/UTC time is easy to calculate, having your own time zone makes it easier to tell when people last posted or were online.
Custom topics is something toyed around with a few years back. The main trouble you run into is standardizing custom tags such that the system knows one is equivalent to the other (e.g. urban fantasy, city fantasy).

I think the issue isn't so much about tagging, but rather that the forum's search feature is absolute garbage in many ways. It'll give you extremely dated results (like from years ago), if you search by specific category/section sometimes they don't show up, etc.

This link is probably the best solution to what they're asking for, I believe. You can find it on the main page on the site; the "roleplay button" centered in the middle of the categories. Problem is that it only shows roleplay topics, so if you want to search for interest checks your only options are to search the interest check sections individually or use the search engine to no avail.
So like, what features are currently being implemented? Or what does the list look like now?

Well, as others have said prior, the staff can't implement anything/make any current changes to the site until Mahz shows up again. But I think @LegendBegins was working on some quick, easy fixes or something along those lines that would be ready to roll out whenever Mahz came back. Things like VM changes or whatever.

At least that's what I last remember hearing in regards to any actual "updating" opposed to future feature requests.
Yellowstone. Never got around to watching it until late this year because I didn't have Paramount+ and/or Peacock at the time. There's just too many streaming services these days, and Yellowstone has some weird licensing deal where some seasons are one platform where others are on another. Anyway, the show's cool; always been interested in those "neo-western" type shows, and the National Park backdrop is interesting as well.
Does anyone have the link to the Wayback Machine?

So, for those not aware, you can "cheat" an image to overlay onto another image through the use of [sub] and [sup] in a post's code. But is there a way to push the image further upwards/downwards without going into an image editing program and doing it yourself? I've tried tacking on more than one [sup]/[sub], but it seems like only one actually takes effect and the others don't do anything. Tried to brute force it with fake/hidden lines to see if they'd push the image into place as well, but it doesn't seem to change anything either.

Example as to what I'm trying to ask. You can see there's a slight overlay of the bottom image onto the top:
