If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am. You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime. I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it. I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way. [ ❇ ] C U R R E N T R O L E P L A Y S |

Her mother had passed away when she was young, leaving Haleigh primarily in the care of her father, a law enforcement officer working under the province's RCMP taskforce. Between his job and the duties of a single parent, Haleigh's father rarely had free time for his daughter. What time he did have was spent dragging Haleigh along on nature hikes and camping trips, being things he had experience and hoped to inspire a love for to his daughter much like his own father had done before him. Unlike most kids who would probably whine and complain through the whole experience, Haleigh instead took a likening to the great outdoors, finding joy in their family adventures in the Canadian wilderness. Such interest was carried well into Haleigh's teenager years and adulthood, where she found work working odd jobs related to i; trail tour guide, outdoors blogger, etc. Little did Haleigh know, however, that these exact interests would be, as she had put it, her "undoing" and "downfall", indirectly leading to her hyperhuman development. It happened on one fine Canadian summer day. Haleigh had been out hiking, confident in her own abilities to venture out alone. Yet the further she travelled, the more uncomfortable Haleigh felt; that something was amiss. The very ground seemed unstable, and before she could properly react in time, the land suddenly gave way beneath her. Haleigh had been buried under a large pile of rubble, trapped in a small pocket and unable to get out. Had it not been for a cellphone tower pinging her phone prior to the incident, she would've likely died there, too. The next few weeks of her life were spent in the hospital, recovering from her injuries and the shock of the event. She swore it had to been a freak accident, but when her doctors scheduled her to undergo rehab, she knew something was terribly wrong. Her hyperhuman ability came to life once more with the first steps she took, wiping out the section of the hospital she was staying in in a flurry of rubble and debris. News channels rushed to cover the incident, interviewing some of the survivors. It was there where Haleigh was first outed as a Hyperhuman; her rehab nurse pinpointing the blame on her. The public quickly became furious, eager to start a witch hunt despite her father's attempts to convince not to "burn his daughter at the stake". Although his pleas ultimately fell on deaf ears, he'd find help in another way—through "H.E.L.P.". With Haleigh's close proximity to the P.R.C.U., H.E.L.P. quickly swopped in to handle the incident, giving her an "out" that ensured her safety before she was strung up by rope in the streets of Vancouver. ▅ A B I L I T I E S, L I M I T A T I O N S, & W E A K N E S S E S ▅ A B I L I T I E S, L I M I T A T I O N S, & W E A K N E S S E S ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ H Y P E R H U M A N A B I L I T Y || S E I S M O K I N E S I S __________________________________________________________________________________________PRIMARY CLASSIFICATION || Exoteric __SECONDARY CLASSIFICATION || Elemental Haleigh's hyperhuman ability is called Seismokinesis, or in layman's terms the concept of seismic wave generation. Activated by her own movement, every step Haleigh takes has the potential to unleash a devastating tremor within the earth much akin to the effects of an earthquake (albeit much smaller and centralized). L I M I T A T I O N S || A R E A O F E F F E C T The waves that are generated by Seismokinesis can not be directed to a certain location by Haleigh; they wrap around her in a circle as if she is the "epicenter". Once these seismic waves have traveled some feet from Haleigh, they will then begin to weaken in strength and eventually dissipate, therefore limiting the potential range and area of effect of her ability's destructive nature. W E A K N E S S E S || M O V E M E N T As Haleigh's ability activates with each step, her power is completely nullified simply by keeping her off her feet. Mobility-assisting devices such as wheelchairs currently remain Haleigh's only option if she wants to move about without accidentally unleashing her ability. |

Okay say, what's the correct way of using emoticon with regular punctuation?
Would it be: "Hello. :)" "Hello :)." or " Hello :)"?

Good Morning!
A friend of mine tried to register into the site.
Upon creating an account, it says they are 'nuked and banned'.
Any particular reason?
