⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

The man chuckled a bit and nodded. "That we do," he said before nodding ad excusing himself as they began to make their way from the breakfast room into the music room. "Excuse us," they would say in turn and in various ways as they moved from one side of the music room to the other in search of whomever was playing right then. They did have a show to put on but not like anyone of them in the music room would know that.

"Must be this way," the blonde added as he pointed towards the door.

Jasper nodded towards the woman. "Of course, wouldn't want any issues," he said before excusing himself and heading north towards the Starry Salon, the doors were left open. There was no point in closing them as this was an area the unwelcome guests were allowed to wander. "Everything in order?" Jasper asked as he adjusted the coats he was carrying and hung them up.

"Quite, how long?" Quinton asked the man and Jasper pulled out a small pocket watch from his vest pocket.

"Roughly one hour," he answered before slipping the watch back into his pocket.

Year 5: Update

Date: April 1st, 2012

The sun has set in all areas now. That means out in Ga it is roughly 8:45pm. Out in Florida and Alabama is it now basically 7:45pm.

Wayne Maldonado

Location: Okefenokee: C7 -> E3(Road)
Skills:Athletics, Intellect

(We have moved forward as there were really no Walkers to deal with and there was no point in going another 3 rounds to get us to the Fish Camp. It is now coming into sight. Refer to the map to see where each of you are.)

Wayne just keeps trotting forward as he hummed to himself. Not really paying attention to those around him. Nodding a bit to Hank as he passed him. Wayne kept an eye on the two behind him and waited a bit before making sure that Hank had taken care of the body before moving ahead and turning down the road towards where the signs were pointing to the Fish Camp. At that point he pulled out his gun and took point. Sure the girl had said she was there earlier but that had been a while ago, earlier in the day. Who knew what had moved in since then.

Yet everything seemed clear but it was hard to tell as the sun had set. At least things were cooling down but the humidity was not going anywhere. Swamps just wouldn't allow for it. "Anyone got a fucking light?" he asked as he stopped and looked back at the group. The last thing he wanted to do was to go into a building without any sort of light to use. Even if it was clear of face eaters it would mean stumbling around. At least out in the night the moon helped some with a little light.

Thinking he was pretty sure that Hank had some lighters on him. "Hey man, hand me a light, I got an idea," he chuckled as he picked up a stick from the ground took part of a torn shirt out of his pack. Wrapping it around it before dousing it in a little bit of clear liquid from a bottle in his back pack. "Come on, let's light this baby up."

Tatiana Newnan

Location: Headland: B4 -> D3
Skills: Survival, Athletics, Orienteering

Tatiana looked back at Riley and Amelia and nodded a bit. "Fast and silent hopefully, make quick, get Jamie inside and Ash as vell to fix shoulder," she said as the winds picked up. Yeah, they needed to move quickly otherwise they wouldn't get inside in time. The smell of earth in the air was getting stronger. That told her that either a tornado had already touched down somewhere close or it was about to. Either way, it didn't matter, things were starting to get blown around and they needed to get inside and out from the open. It wasn't safe right then. Thankfully they had two things going for them right then. One, there didn't seem to be any Walkers in their way, the other was that it was now dark outside. That gave them cover.

The noise from the winds was helping as well as Tatiana moved to go to a sprint. "Ve hurry," she said before taking off and motioning for the girls to follow her. At least Tatiana knew where she was going. They had been held up in this area for over a week now and she had been out a bit around the small cul-de-sac. The tree line was in the distance and she moved into it quickly so they could work their way around to the back side of the house. She was hoping to have them move up the porch. If the men were in the house in the kitchen it would be the easiest point of entry for them to take them by surprise. They would be watching for the front door to open, not the back.

Back in the car Jamie was not a happy camper - dirty diaper and all. And while Tatiana had diapers they didn't have a box or instructions. Y'all better roll to see if you an figure out how to diaper a screaming baby - oh and another roll for gag reflex - Jamie made one hell of a stinker. lol

October 31st, 1943 - Look out below

Samson looked over towards Sophia and nodded. "Libby, grab some others and fetch the net for the traipses we used to have. Should be in storage, be quick girl," he said as he wobbled on his cane to get closer to what was going on before yelling at the crowd. "You all get back, get back, don't be needing no one else getting hurt," he added to some of the acts that were crowding right beneath where Jonesy was hanging.

Ben looked at James. "Go with her, she knows where to go," he added after Gilbert told him to find something to stretch out beneath, pointing towards Libby who whipped her head back and motioned for James to follow her.

"Here, this truck," she said pointing as she picked up her pace and started running.

Jonesy above was trying to trying to swing to get a hand up but he couldn't. There was blood dripping from his side. It looked like from where everyone was below, like he had been stabbed or impaled by something before it was ripped out. The blood loss was making it hard for him to stay away and keep a grip. People took a step back to avoid the drizzle of blood from above.

Ben wasn't waiting. He leapt over to the bottom of the Ferris Wheel and started climbing up. "Ben!" Rita Sue called out but the boy wasn't listening as he started to move up the steel lines, climbing up as quickly as he could. "Samson, get management!" Rita added with a scowl on her face.

"Ain't gonna bother management, you know they don't come out in the day," he added and Rita huffed as she shook her head and looked back up. Gasping as Ben grabbed one of the seats and as he went to pull himself up, it broke free and started crashing down towards the ground below. "Look out!" she screamed as she scuttled back.

Scotland

(Alright, only one left in collab at this point is Morose in the Kirkpatrick Battle)

House Kirkpatrick: The Soulless to the north moved in and tried to take the elder Kirkpatrick's life from her but she was having none of it. Her already bloodied cane coming across it's jaw and then back swinging into its skull showed him that it was his life that would end this day and not hers. Yet as one Soulless was killed, another was doing some killing of his own and their other horse was slaughtered in the mix. Now, there was none to pull the horse. No quick exit at this point.

Lady Kirkpatrick moved to get closer to Maeve as another Soulless came towards the girl and took a swipe at her but missed. Things were getting more even now, two women left against three Soulless. With any luck, this fight would be over soon.

(Map Updated - Call your rolls If it does, slowly we will switch over to this system. Each round you will call for your actions, any movement will require a roll. A movement roll will be determined by 1d20 in Soulless Chat, you may roll this on your own. Your number is how many total blocks you can move in a single round without attacking. Forward, back, up, down, diagonal, retrace steps, whatever. Roll your movement, determine where you will go and then call for action rolls if you need them. If a Soulless is within 5 blocks of your icon, they can attack you most likely, so even call rolls if you are taking a defensive stance.)

Annan: The ride is going well enough but the carriage driver has slowed down greatly - there are more people about as they are going through town and once closer to the other side, the entire carriage rushing passed them scenario made it prudent to slow down. Egerton seemed vexed by the slowing of travel and voiced it accordingly with an added pound to the ceiling of the carriage. The driver didn't speed up. Rutherford just sat there and shrugged a bit.

Millicent however looked torn. Part of her wanted to get out of the carriage and place some space between her and another. The thing was, once they arrived, just what would happen and what else would she have to deal with. It had been a whirlwind of trauma over the last couple of days and she was not sure just how much more she could handle. Sometimes the devil you knew was better than the unknown. Either way, she would have to wait as the carriage turned down a road and continued to the further outskirts of the town.

England

The Bristol Ship: Ludwig snored a bit but he remained passed out with an arm draped over the railing of the ship. Seemed like it might take a cannon going off for the man to rise as the sound of Vlad breaking his nose and cursing didn't do anything to rouse the sleeping German.

The Captain pulled out a rag and held it towards Vlad before his first mate climbed up the main mast to their small crows net to take a look. Pulling out a spotting scope. Lengthening it before taking a look through it. "What do you see?" the captain called out.

"It's a ship sir," the first mate called back.

The Sea: Hazel looked over to Fyror and rolled her eyes. "Yo, over here," she called out to him. He was on the wrong side of the mast and heading out over the wrong part of the ship away from her. "Untie, this side, retie," she added as she shook her head.

Down below the ship was active as people moved this way and that. Jack and Marco both independently seemed to take note of something. Marco moving to the bow of the ship to get a better look as Jack went to inform the captain of what was going on. Inside the Captains quarters Regalia nodded and smiled towards the woman. "Then it will be done," was all she said before turning her head as a knock came to the door. "Enter," she called out as she stood up.

"Captain, we got a sighting," Jack said to Regalia before nodding towards Colette. Regalia moved out from behind her desk and over to Colette.

"I see," she said before taking a glance towards the weapon that Colette was now in possession of before turning back to the man at her door. "She is clear," she added and Jack nodded.

Carlisle: The Soulless seemed to be gone, or at least dead around Virginia right then. There were still yells and screaming coming from further into the city itself but where Mary lay, it was as calm as one could ask. Whether there were more within the city, it was uncertain. The screams could be from those fighting or those simply mourning. It was hard to make out what they were saying due to winds kicking up and distance.

The chill in the air and the darkness in the sky was increasing in the city of Carlisle. A frost seemed to be forming and it was almost as if snow was falling from the sky, all except for the fact that when the flakes hit the ground they did not melt. They just left a trail. A scream broke out into the city as a mass started falling from the sky. One could not make out what the scream was saying but one thing was clear. It wasn't in English, it had an accent of language Virginia had been exposed to recently. There was no mistake, that was the accent of the Circus.

Titian nodded and followed Professor Walnut into the Trophy Room. Well perhaps not followed but followed her lead as she was on his arm. Making sure to hold the door open for her and then gently pushing it closed behind them as to not have too much noise when it closed. It drifted closed and clicked quietly behind them but the music that had stopped started again but this time coming from the other door on the opposite side of the room from which they entered.

Hearing the question, Titian looked at Walnut and shrugged a bit. "Hadn't really, no one else got my attention," he said as he looked around all the dead and stuffed things hanging on the walls as well as the two large "statues" of bears that were stuffed and poised as if they were going to attack them on either side of the fire place where a woman who must have been a member of the staff was standing there watching them. He grinned slightly towards Walnut and gave her a bit of a wink.

"What's through that door?" he asked the woman.

The woman he was addressing looked at him from muddy hooded eyes. She couldn't have been but within an inch of height of the woman on his arm but lacked beauty. She however, even if chubby with thin mousey hair had a presence about her that couldn't be missed. A very strong presence at that. And when she spoke her voice nearly boomed, it was odd to come from such a short stature of a woman. "The Rocaille."

There was a slight grin that came to the woman's features. A nod as she stood there as a thought came to mind that she decided to vocalize. "Then perhaps with this song you should show your talent and try to capture its essence," she said in a voice that had a hint of playfulness to it. Her eyes staying on Dr. Swamp as her fingers motioned as if she was drawing. She was wondering if he would take the most obvious hint.

It was about at that time she turned as she heard the door and looked over at the newest edition in the room. Her breath held but finally released when she noted who it was. It was the man that had introduced himself as Justice Cobalt. "Perhaps if I continue enough will be in my debt that I can leave freely," she quipped before taking a breath. Was it a joke or was she miffed by the intrusion? One could not be sure as she stood there.

Rolling her neck she brought the instrument back to her chin and readied her bow. Music was solace at least and it was a respite from conversation. Before the air in the room changed began to play once again. This time the song was vastly more technical than the one before it. It was clear and crisp and clean but still held feeling. As if one was in a chase during the full light of the day, branches breaking as they ran, confused and trying to distance themselves with no thought of pace until confusion set in and they were caught wondering which way to turn.

Flight UA 2199 Gate: Roy took note of the Cowboy and the fact his hand was coming out from behind his jacket. Gavin extended the now empty hand towards the man and the two shook slightly. "Well ain't that just a barrel of biscuits, nice to meet ya," Gavin said.

Roy looked at him oddly and then down at Cecily. "What in the fuck did he just say?" Roy asked and Gavin chuckled.

"Means I be surprised is all. Anywho, we gots a body a claim," Gavin said as he placed his hat back on his head and adjusted his pack. Not too far from them was a man looking rather upset, holding a small sign up that read Cecily Ashworth. He looked like he hadn't slept or had a chance to shave in the last day or two. Wearing jeans, boots, and a t-shirt.

"You know that one?" Roy asked as Gavin tugged on the cops sleeve and pointed him out. Roy gave the man a hard stare and then looked down towards Cecily. The man looked like a roughed up version of the image Natasha had had on her phone for her fiance Lincoln Roberts.

Flight MSS 1 Hanger: "Aww hell, okay boss," Claire said as she was instructed to speak in English sine Keystone didn't speak the language. "Might want to pick it up," she added with a bit of a chuckle when she looked over towards Keystone. It was true. The man was working for a man that spoke Spanish, hired a lot of kin, and had a heavy amount of people speaking the language. Not to mention it was spoken through out the US. Spanish was a language to know if you were on US turf.

"With ya as long as you'll be having me. Was told by office to do whatever the boss asks. I can get you to a book store if you want," she added. Waiting for them to get in the vehicle before pulling up the information on the book store and then starting out of the hanger. Claire drove.... wildly to put it nicely. It wasn't as out there as some drove but the woman knew how to handle city traffic that was for sure a she drove.

"Don't know nothing about no Grimm but this book shop I do be knowing. It was in the news last month," she started before informing the men she was escorting around, for lack of a better term, that a book had been supposedly stolen from the store and there was a lot of investigating going on about it. A lot of people were doubting the book even existed and if the owner could prove that it did, it would mean the insurance company would have to pay out millions for its loss.

Grimm, Indiana - Forest: Tim nodded. "I think so," he said as he took his hat off and rubbed the sweat from his brow. The fire might have been out at this point but it was still hot and steamy because of it and would continue to be probably until late in the night. "I wonder who they were," he added.

Being a small town had its advantages. It also had its draw backs. One of the main ones was that it hadn't exactly caught up with the Twenty-First Century technology wise. Sure people had cell phones and computer access but the local governments were still running most things off pencil and paper. In other words there was no quick way to identify the bodies. To find out why the plane was there, or anything else. That would take time.

Bill walked over as he sighed. "I contacted Fisher Funeral Home, they will come collect the bodies and transport them for us. David is out local coroner now that his father passed away last month. Man is fickle, doesn't want to work in the county coroner office to study bodies but I can't say I blame him. His place is more advanced than the counties," Bill said as the firemen kept working to take care of the remains of the fire and make sure things stayed under control.

The one that had smiled towards Priya off the back of the truck was there. Coming over with a large chainsaw. "Might wanna take a step back," he said before putting the earplugs in his ears and motioning towards the tree which had pinned down one half of the woman's body. It would have to be cut away for them to get her the rest of the way out.

Deeper Than The Sands

Date: October 5th, 1924

All Decks: Dinner has concluded, those requesting a meal to go have had it brought to them on a covered platter that they may take themselves or instruct a member of the staff to take for them. Either way will be fine. The dishes are being cleared away on the Elite and the second Decks. There is a yell on the lower deck to bus your own plates to the table against the wall.

While dinner is over this does not mean it is time for bed. While some are going back to their rooms, most are only doing so to change into something other than dinner clothing. Entertainment will be starting shortly on all the decks, as well as gambling. Others will just be taking in the night air.

Remember your tickets, it allows you to certain places on the ship. Please note that if you are trying to go ~up~ a deck, to call for a roll! We will have to see if your character 1) Remembered it, 2) Hasn't lost it or 3) To see if it has been stolen. >.>

Character Proceeding Forward: Vera nodded towards Josephine and gave the starlet her room number. "Of course, enjoy your stroll," she said kindly before glancing around. It had been really the first time since all of this began that they are a group had been able to relax a bit. Though Vera was anything but right then, still wondering where the Lord Major and Miss Ridgeway were. She could only conclude that they had taken their meal on the Elite deck. She should have known so and gone to them personally to invite them to dine with the rest.

"Mmm, you too Miss," George said to Mosi as she left, standing up ad giving her a slight head nod. Looking at his sister he grinned a bit. "Mmm yes, she is very capable even if a bit disorganized," he said, poking a bit of fun at her before taking a step out from his seat and moving behind Vera as she went to rise. It was a good thing he did for she nearly fell flat onto the table as her foot hooked on the leg of the chair. He caught her and pulled her close.

"Oh dear me, I am nothing but ankles this eve it seems. Thank you," she said, stumbling over her words. George just nodded and waited until she was fully stable to let her go. Looking at Nora she gave a smile. "Well then shall we retire to my cabin for some tea and conversation?" she asked politely as she finally was able to step away from George. "Though I should try to locate the Lord Major before hand and let him know where we are," she added, thinking more to herself than actually speaking towards the others.

George gave a quick glance towards Gene before looking back at Vera. "Mmm, I can find him. You will be safe with my sister," he said as he motioned for Vera to go and stay close to Gene. Vera cocked a brow but nodded. She trusted George and if he could handle himself, couldn't his sister as well? "I will inform, mmm, you when I do," he added before walking off.

Vera watched him as he went to the stairs and showed his ticket before being let up to the Elite deck. Moving through the crowd as he looked around only to finally spot the two at a table about to leave. "Mmm, Lord Major Keystone. Miss Ridgeway. Mmm, good evening," he said as he gave a polite nod of his head.
