⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Flight UA 2199 Gate: Lincoln looked down at his hand and nodded. "We were," he said as a sad smile came to his lips. Thinking back on the ring and everything that had happened for him to have it and what it meant to him. Turning the ring over slowly he started to talk about Natasha and him.

"We met in San Fran," the story started. About how he was working at the hospital she was a doctor at and how she had stepped on his foot. Or was it he that stepped on hers. It was a bit of a blur. Their first date had been amazing. Italian food, dancing, a bar fight and a food fight. It was actually a lot of fun. Natasha had been full of life. They were so happy together. That was until the first time she got sick. She didn't tell him, she just broke off their engagement one day and left. For so long he didn't know why but was only left with the memory of how bad it hurt when she left.

A memory: "Miss! If we don't go soon you'll miss your flight!" the cab driver yelled. Tasha took a deep breath and held up her hand, motioning for him to give her just another moment. Looking back over to Lincoln she wished she could stop this but she couldn't, not now.

"I'm sorry.... Goodbye," she said weakly, a few tears spilling out as they were washed away in the rain.

"Flight? You're kidding, right? Tell me you're fucking kidding..."

Tasha could only shake her head as she slipped the ring into her pocket. She didn't know what to say and was afraid she would break if she did. Turning slowly she wrapped her arms around herself and started to walk towards the cab.

Lincoln stood there in the pouring rain, shaking his head as she turned and walked away. This was an absolute joke, it had to be. He ran forwards and grabbed her shoulder, forcing her to turn around. "What is this? Why are you doing this?! Tasha... please..." The tears had held back so far but they were flowing now, his eyes were red, puffy and utterly bloodshot. His voice was that of a broken man and his grip was weakening before his hand dropped from her shoulder as the reality of the situation hit him like a damn tornado.

"Because you're fucking perfect and I'm not!" she yelled, trying not to cry but it didn't work. She had to get out of there before she broke. Pushing passed him she ran for the cab and jumped into back seat.

Lincoln stumbled backwards and fell onto his ass into a puddle on the side of the road as she shoved him. He was dripping as he stumbled his way back up onto his feet and sprinted towards the cab. "Tasha! TASHA WAIT!" The door shut and the cab pulled away, driving off with his entire life in the back seat. He slowed to a jelly-legged jog and then dropped to his knees at the kerb watching the tail lights disappearing into the mass of traffic. His head hung low and he cried, whispering to himself. "But you're perfect for me..."

Blinking his eyes, he wiped a tear away with the back of his hand and looked over towards Cecily. "Never thought I would see her again after that night, I did though. I found her again in India years later."

Grimaldi Books: Adelaide crossed her arms over her chest and she tapped her foot. Reaching down she took the ID and gave it a once and then twice over before holding it out. Not to Caesar but in Richard direction. "You're the fraud expect, mind taking a look," she asked but she didn't look at Richard, she kept her eyes on Caesar. It was obvious she didn't mind the man sticking around. Considering she now had two rather large men in her book store she didn't know it was probably a good idea to keep witnesses around. Especially if they were talking murder.

"Yeah well when bodies start popping up I am not really that interested in sticking around to find out why. I'm from Grimm, nothing good ever came from people poking their noses into places just to sat curiosity," she said in a snarky voice. It wasn't untrue in her book. Last time people had started looking around, a good portion of her high school class had ended up dead. It hadn't been too long since the reunion and losing so many was still fresh in her mind. Lawson was her ex-husband, not her love. The two had never loved each other, they just sort of settled until the first time he turned up dead.

"And if you are talking about Lawson, I'm still waiting for him to come back from the dead. He already did once before," she added. She believed he was dead but she had made that mistake before. "So what in the hell do I have anything to do with this anyways? Ex-husband, not current. I was his widow and then ex-wife. Why not talk to his family?" she asked as she picked up her cup of coffee and then took a long sip from it.

Grimm, Indiana - Forest - > Ramada Inn: Tim waited for the girls before climbing into the car and driving off back towards town and eventually the hotel. He looked over towards Priya and nodded. "Yeah of course, Riley knows her way round town don't ya?" he said as he kept driving. "There is a car rental place now right up the street from the hotel. I will go there once I drop you two off to secure you a vehicle on the county."

Pulling up to the hotel, Tim pulled the car up to the curb and put it into park. "Once you two get checked in and settled, go pick up your car from the rental place and meet me back at the police station? I'll fill you in on anything I get then and we can go from there? That sound good?" he asked as he waited for the girls to get out.

Once they had he would go take care of setting up the rental car for them. Inside was an younger woman, red hair with bright green eyes helping another woman check in. The other woman had dark hair secured under a ball cap and had a toddler in a stroller next to her. The two were talking and a key was handed over. She pushed the stroller to the elevator and waited for it to come down to the main floor. The hotel was only three stories but carrying a stroller up them was a bit of a hassle.

Deeper Than The Sands

Reminders: Remember your tickets, it allows you to certain places on the ship. Please note that if you are trying to go ~up~ a deck, to call for a roll! We will have to see if your character 1) Remembered it, 2) Hasn't lost it or 3) To see if it has been stolen. >.> Also, if your character goes to their room make sure to grab a roll from me to let you know what, if anything, occurred in there.

Over half of the people on the boat have decided it was best to go to bed and won't be back out tonight, well unless something happens that makes them get up. About 25% are back out and about on the decks, another 25% are moving from room to room having after dinner coffee and drinks away from the rest of the crowds. (Perception rolls for those out and about to pick up on anything.)

Ever Had Shit Hit The Fan?: Yeah, well it isn't - just yet. On the main deck we have Mosi and she is pretty much keeping to herself and sketching away. People are milling about and passing her as if she isn't there. Yet that is how most things in life are. If it isn't directly effecting you chances are you will miss most of the things that are going on around you. Why people are missing the woman sitting there and drawing. One so much in fact she nearly tripped over her. Catching her foot on the edge of the chair. Looks like the woman has two left feet and it isn't Vera. Looking over sharply, her dark eyes and olive skin are only partly seen from under hair that falls over her face. "Sorry," she says in a rough voice that has a lack of accent before she moves on.

George nods and keeps up with Lauren. Walking with her as she went to check on her room. "Mmm, sounds good," he said as they walked. It was good that things were calm in Laurens room for when they got to Vera's it was obvious that things were not as calm there as they should have been. Vera looked rather worried when they arrived and didn't notice them at first. Her body turning as she face planted right into George's chest as he stepped into the room that had been turned upside down. His arm wrapping around her waist to keep her from falling. "What happened mmm?" he asked, more to his sister than to Vera.

The man drinking from the bottle was not having any better time than Vera was it seemed from the look on his face. He looked over towards the girl and shrugged. "What does it matter? Just as soon as you think you have things figured out, everything turns upside down again," he said before taking several long chugs from the bottle. As he lowered it he let out a hell of a burp that almost sounded like a goat bleating. "Excuse me," he said as he sat the bottle down, now spent, and pointed towards the bar tender, snapping his fingers a few times. "Another one," he said as he tapped the bar top and threw down some money with his other hand.

At the stairs, things were calm, save one woman of pale skin and dark hair moving passed Mahendra slowly, her dark eyes casting a sideways glance towards the man and it seemed that red flickered in her eyes as she gave a sly smile towards him. Lacing her fingers together she continued to walk and headed down the stairs, the legs of her pant suit swishing as she did. Her eyes cast back to him before she disappeared around the corner and was out of sight.

Closing the journal the man slipped it into his inner front pocket of his tan jacket and looked around. His lips pursing together as if he was in thought. His hand coming up as he scratched his chin. It looked like he hadn't shaved in a good few days and his skin was tanned. Not in a I have been out in the sun a few times but leathery as if he had been out in it far too much over the last week and it was trying to heal from an under lying burn. The veins in his hand were bulging a little, whether he was thin or they were aggravated was anyone's guess.

Time in fact does keep on moving forward. Jasper looking over towards the woman in the Trophy room before another started to make her way there. Having to step out of the way so she couldn't fully enter that time. (1 room per round, so Blushs last round ended in the Starry Saloon). Jasper looked the woman over, it seemed she was doing better than she had been when he has last spoken to her. This was good, for little did he know things were not as calm elsewhere in the manor.

Neither did Madam Envy, otherwise she might not have chosen that moment to enter the Music Room. A bird flying right by her head and slamming into her as it was trying to get away from someone seemingly trying to end its life. The woman nearly tripped over Rave right then but managed to duck out of the way as the bird flew over head and landed on top of the piano.

Things were starting to get heated and not in a warm way as the four men looked towards the door and through the opening to the woman that was now between them and the violinist. "We mean nothing by it," one of them said. "No, nothing at all," another chimed in. "We simply need an accompanist for the performance tonight," a third said. "And she is perfect," finally the forth finished. Each of the men said as the walked into the room and to the side as Dr. Swamp was blocking the main path to Amaranthine. Cold air started to come into the room and the men looked over at the opening in the wall. "Curious," one of them mumbled but it was hard to tell which one.

Year 5: Update

Date: April 1st, 2012

Gonna wrap up this day in the next couple of posts and get us to morning soon.

Wayne Maldonado

Location: F5 (Fishing Camp Inside)
Skills:Athletics, Pistol, Survival

Wayne looked round slowly, his brows lifted high as he did. Moving the torch around as he turned in his place. The others had finally made their way inside and it seemed the whole gang was there now. Looking around and such. The place looked clear enough. No face eaters about, which was good. Wayne took a step back towards the door and pushed them close slowly and carefully before going back to where he had been. He wasn't moving too far just yet.

"Any kind of stove about?" he asked but didn't move. If they could find one of those traveling grills or something similar to it he could put the torch it in and use it as a central light source and save on batteries for anything else. Plus they could warm up food. Not that the place needed heat or anything. It was spring in the south but they could later on. Night could still get chilly during this time of the year if the weather stayed as unpredictable as always.

"I don't give a flying fuck you bucktoothed fairy," he said to the air as he slipped his pistol back into his waist band. Slowly he slipped off his coat and his scarf with one hand. Switching the torch over to the other he slipped the rest of it off and his bag, tossing them to the left a little bit. It felt good to get a layer off after the heat and fights they had been through so far.

Tatiana Newnan

Location: Headland: F2 (House Map) -> B4( Main Map)
Skills: Survival, Athletics, Orienteering

Tatiana was glad the girls with her had their shit together. It wasn't long before all three men were dead, or at least she thought they were. Moving carefully she went into the house and checked pulses. They were dead. Looking back at the girls she nearly smiled but the winds picking up where not putting her at ease. Taking a deep breath she holstered the weapon she had on her and looked back at Riley and Amelia. It was time to get the boy into the house and get these bodies taken care of. Better now than later. She wanted her son inside safe.

"I go get others, you clear out bodies. Food in boxes over there," she said pointing behind the bar counter the bodies were slumped over. "I be back shortly. Stay together," she said quickly before making her way through the house and out the front this time. It would be faster rushing down the street back to Jack and Ash and Jamie than going back the way they came in. Now that she was sure all the people she had been dealing with were dead it was time to move as fast as she could. Less things to trip over on the road than in the grass.

The girls would need to make sure the dead mens brains were dealt with so they didn't come back and she hoped leaving both of them behind would not only allow her to move faster but two of them moving bodies was better than just one of them. Moving down the street quickly. She spotted someone moving and drew her gun but was relieve when she spotted it was Ash. Rushing over to him she looked round for Jack and Jamie. "All clear, let's get dovn street," she said pointing back the way she came.

October 31st, 1943 - Just keep swimming? (Yeah I got nothing lol)

Ben looked over and took the girls hand, getting up to his feet. Everyone in the Carnivale rushed forward to start pulling back metal and try to clean up things. Jonesy laid there as Libby rushed over to him, followed shortly behind by Samson. "Thanks," Ben said but smirked a bit looking over towards Gilbert before he walked off. He could understand not wanting him to kill more things on the grounds and glanced towards Bart. "If you can, please do," he said motioning towards Jonesy.

Jonesy groaned as Libby pulled his head into her lap. His leg was messed up pretty bad from being impaled by the metal before he had fallen. "Please help him," Libby asked as she looked over towards Bart.

Samson quirked a brow and then looked over towards Ben, waddling over to the boy slowly. "They're like you?" Samson asked and Ben shook his head a bit.

"Seems so, well that one is," he said pointing towards the kitchen house. "These? Cousins maybe?" he said towards Samson and the short man looked confused a bit but nodded.

"So Goliath?" Samson asked.

"Brother maybe?" Ben said as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. Taking a long puff before holding out the pack towards Alexandria. "Not for her it wasn't," he said, finally getting back to what she had said when she offered him a hand up. "I'm Ben, this is Samson and you are?" he asked.

Samson looked up at the girl and took his hat off. "Ma'am," he said in a kind voice before turning his attention back towards Bart and waiting to see if he would help Jonesy.

Scotland

House Kirkpatrick: Lady Kirkpatrick took a deep breath and shook off the bloodied remains from her cane. Shaking her head she took slow steps towards Maeve. This was not a good situation. They had lost both Calum and Rory in the battle, as well as both of their horses. At least the child had been swept away before this whole thing started. There was some peace in that. What little could be found but if the attacks had reached Scotland, it could mean there were more coming and heading east.

"He is with God," was all the lady said before she turned as she heard something coming their way. "We may not be done yet," she added as the sounds of hooves increased.

Annan: "What in bloody hell?" Lord Egerton said as the carriage crested the ridge and came through a clearing of trees. Millicent looked out the window to see a devastating scene. Bodies were strode out all over as well as two horses in front of a carriage. Standing there were two women, one much older than the other.

Rutherford cursed under his breath and opened the carriage door swiftly as it came to a halt. The driver, pulling out a pistol as soon as he could hold the reigns in one hand. Millicent gripped her dress and went out after Rutherford. Egerton moving to grab the girl by the arm but missing. "What in hell happened?" Rutherford asked as he stopped in his tracks, getting a better view of just how many dead were lying around.

"We decided to hold a reenactment of Battle Of Waterloo, what in blazes do you think happened here?" Lady Kirkpatrick snipped as she gave a shake of her head.

England

The Bristol Ship: Hate, why so much hate. He was good, not mad. Strange but tame. The captain looked over towards Constantin. "I wouldn't know, perhaps you should ask the man who seems to know something, oh wait you wished he still was asleep. Funny, you wish answers from someone you seem to detest. Odd fellow he seems but kind, you on other hand, seem a down right asshole my sir," the Captain spouted and walked off from him.

Ludwig paid no mind, looking to the sea, grin on his face. Push up the glasses, see better with. He heard nothing until Vlad bellowed. Hard no to hear, hear to be heard, yes. Adventure and grins. "Friends! Yes, friend! Sweet friend! captain Montoya!" he yelled as he waved his hands.

"Seems you know the ship," the Captain remarked as he came to the rail.

The Sea: Hazel lowered the glass and laughed, leaning over the rail. "Crazed German at twelve Captain!" Hazel yelled in an excited voice.

Regalia quirked a brow and chuckled a bit. "I see, ready to sail beside," she said as the crew got to work. Looking over at Colette she shook her head. "Nothing to worry about, an old friend. Strange fellow to be ready but harmless," the Captain said as the ship sailed forward.

Together On The Sea: The ships sailed close together, the Captain of the one which held the German and Russians laid anchor. Captain Montoya's ship pulling up slowly next to it. It was far larger than the small fishing vessel. Ludwig wasted no time as he grabbed ropes that were tossed from the men of the ship he referred to as La Canela and tied them off.

A dark haired lady walked to the rail of her ship and looked down at the men there. "Ludwig, it has been far too long," she called out to him. "Who are you with?" There was a goofy grin on his features as he motioned for the Russians to come over to him.

"Captain my captain! Circus! I joined the circus!"

"The circus?" the woman asked confused as she looked over towards the others on the small fishing ship before glancing over towards Colette. "I should be confused but with him, it is a constant state," she said quietly.

Carlisle: As the Soulless where Virginia had been fighting were now dead, some residents of the town were now peeking their heads out of their homes and buildings around the girl. An older man came out slowly, armed, but it was obvious he had been far too old to be any help during the battle. He could barely walk and used the stick he held as more of a cane than a weapon it looked like.

"I have her, please go help our city," he asked in a weak voice as what appeared to be his elderly wife came out slowly behind him with a shawl to lay over Mary's features.

More voices were heard, various languages being spoken. Mostly English but there was a mix of others as well. Bits of conversation cutting in through the air. "How in the hell?" "This isn't London." "Ice? This time of year?" - The accents from the voices varied and none seemed to be of England.

Titian looked around the room slowly as he waited for Professor Walnut to join him. He could hear people speaking back in the Trophy room but his eyes were still adjusting to the brighter light of this particular room. It seemed that the light reflected off so much as if it was mid day in this room and then some. The tall mans hand slowly lowered as his eyes adjusted. This was obviously not a room he wanted to be in from the grimace on his features as he waited.

Once she came to him he smiled a bit. "I prefer something darker," he said in passing as he motioned towards the room. "Half tempted to put out some candles if I didn't think one of those sour faced help would come right behind me and relight them and give my ear a chewing," he added with a bit of a laugh.

"Shall we continue?" he asked her as he moved to the door across from where they had entered and placed his hand on the knob, pulling the door open even more fully so she could step through. He gave a rather large display of bend and sweeping motion. "Lead the way," he said with a wink.

Closing the case carefully, Amaranthine looked towards Dr. Swamp and a brow rose out of sight from beneath the mask as he slid something over on the other table. Picking up her things, as opposed to leaving them there, she moved from one table to the other before setting the case back down. Picking up the pad she looked over the image. While it wasn't as striking as the first one he did, it was still rather impressive and that showed on her exposed features. "Remarkable what one can capture in such a short period of time, I wonder what you could do if you were given extended leave to create. You are truly an artist Dr. Swamp," she said in a kind voice as her fingers ran close to the page to trace the lines but she did not touch.

Eyes cast towards the other in the room and she smiled towards him but there was a bit of a perplexed look to her features as she did. "Thank you but I do have to wonder what about that wall seems to be so very interesting," she said with a bit of a chuckle. "Not that it isn't well crafted," she added with a bit of jest in her voice.

There were other voices she heard but she could not discern what they were saying. Turning she looked back towards the door of the room and her lips parted somewhat as she spotted two men there, she was sure there was more but only two were fully visible from where she stood right then. Her mouth closed sharply and she head shook a bit as she stood there. Turning her back to the door she looked back over towards Dr. Swamp and Justice Cobalt. "Seems we are no longer alone," she said quietly.

Flight UA 2199 Gate: "Um, yeah, there is a lounge near baggage claim, would that work?" Lincoln asked as he folded up the sign and tucked it under his arm.

"Well now, why don'ts me and West Coast here go on and takes care of luggage and thangs fer ya Miss Ma'am whiles y'alls talk. We's catch up with ya in a little bit," Gavin said with a tip of his hat.

"I don't.." Roy started to say but Gavin caught the mans foot with the heel of his boot. He kept from yelling but got the clue and nodded. "think we will be that long, you got my number if anything goes wrong," he said to Cecily before giving her a kiss on the head and moving out with Gavin towards baggage claim, there would be a few things they would need to do to claim the body.

Lincoln looked at them oddly before turning his attention back to Cecily. "Um, yeah, I could use a drink," he said as he turned quietly and headed for the escalator that would lead down from the gate to the main floor of the airport. He really didn't say anything, just keeping his head down with his hands in his pockets as he walked.

Once they got to the lounge he asked for a quiet place and they were shown a small booth. It was a private but one could still be easily seen from the front entrance. Sliding into the booth he rested his hands on the table, his fingers running over a ring he wore on his left ring finger. "I... keep thinking this is another nightmare and I am going to wake up and she will be asleep next to me..."

Grimaldi Books: Claire hopped out of the car and glanced around. "Gonna grab food, be back in a few," she said before turning and heading down the sidewalk. Didn't seem like she was going to try to get in the way for this and Claire was always fucking hungry. "Will grab you both something," she said without looking back and gave a small wave of her hand as she kept walking.

Inside Adelaide looked over towards Robert and nodded. "That's good. I would rather have the book back but if not I want my investment back," she said before turning to go get the man a cup of coffee. She was cut short as the door opened. Her brow quirking a bit as she looked at the two men.

"Yeah, give me some ID first and let me run a check on you two before anything else," she said frankly before she stepped behind serving counter and started fixing a coffee for Robert. "You two want a cup?" she asked in passing as she took the cup she had prepared back over to Robert and set it down in front of him.

Turning she crossed her arms over her chest and blew her hair out of her face. "And just why are you looking into my ex-husbands death?" she added before moving back to the coffee maker. "Cream, sugar or just black?" she asked before stopping and eying Keystone a bit more. "Or would you prefer tea?"

Grimm, Indiana - Forest: Tim nodded a bit. "Yeah, he is a bit different, like the rest of that family," he added before motioning back to the car.

David showed up with Nate, their van pulling up to the scene and being let into the crime scene area. David stopped and nodded slightly at the two women. "Surprised to see you this soon," he said in passing before stopping as he reached the bodies. Nate crinkled his face.

"Well this is a shit storm," Nate said under his breath as he zipped up his overall protective gear. "Any idea who they are?" he asked Tim and Tim shook his head.

"An idea on one but not the rest, can you see what you can do about getting me dental imprints and anything else? If you could get your sister to bring them over to the station that would be good, I can send them through to Indianapolis for identification. Gonna get the girls out of here, let me know," Tim said before moving over to the car.

"Sure thing," was all David said before he went to work with his brother and a few firemen to get the bodies all together. There were 4 parts that put together 3 people.

"Okay, let's get you two to the hotel and see what we can do about getting you a rental to drive around town," Tim said. He nearly mentioned that if Riley wanted she might be able to borrow her parents car since they were in town but he knew she was trying to avoid them so didn't mention it.
