⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

"You're welcome," Amaranthine said in a small voice as Dr. Swamp thanked her. It seemed that they were done here and Rhoda was checking to see that they could leave. The man that brought them in was going to take them out. Or at least take them to join the others she hoped. It was a bit of a walk to the State Dining Room from where they were but at least it was only one set of stairs. Gathering her things, Amaranthine stayed close to Dr. Swamp, just in case he needed aide walking. Yes, he was taken care of but that didn't mean he didn't still need help when it came to moving around. It was best to be safe rather than sorry. Plus, herself and Walnut both had much shorter legs than the man leading them.

As they got into the State Dining Room, it seemed that their night hadn't been the only one that had seen some drama. Looking and spotting the Lord of the Manor her eyes widened and she buried her face behind Dr. Swamp for a moment. Another dead? And now there was an order given that no one would leave alive until they knew what happened? Maybe she should have stayed home. Blackmail was better than this and that thought read clearly on her face as she peeked her head back out and looked around. One girl was hurt and one man was dead. What the hell had happened while they were in the Sewing Room? Apparently, safety in number didn't exist here. Her brow rose as her eyes fell on Cobalt. It took her a moment to realize it was him, as his mask was off and it was the first time she had seen him without it. It took his clothing for her to be sure it was him. He spoke to Dr. Swamp and her eyes drifted over to him. Last person he had supposedly tried to help had, as far as she believed, attacked him and tried to kill him. Would this woman do the same?

Chicago, Illinois (Grimaldi Books): Update next round.

Road To Grimm I (Northern Indiana): That tire change took a bit longer than one originally thought. In fact it took a lot longer. They did finally manage to get back on the road. Driving towards Grimm wasn't too bad and with the open road, they could hit the gas. It didn't seem to be any cops around. Though as they got within 10 miles outside of the city limits there was a pillar of smoke coming up from the trees to the east, it was white so whatever had caused the fire was out but it was causing a haze to fall over the landscape. It wasn't exactly the most welcoming of sights.

Grimm, Indiana (Heading Towards The Tinder Place): "Sounds like damn plan to me," Zoie said as the car drove towards Tinders parents place. Justice was one thing but this was something else. She was from a small town, smaller than this, but even in the deep south, nothing felt as creepy as this place. And that was saying something. She had visited the filming site of Children of the Corn when she was younger. That was a Sunday picnic compared to this place. As the car pulled up to Tinder's parents place, there was a sherriff's car parked outside and the front door was slightly ajar on the upper middle class house. Zoie leaned forward a bit. "Well, isn't this just fuckin' peachy..."

Grimm, Indiana (Beneath Grimm): Well, sadly no body fell out as Priya put the item into the wall. It was a key and the wall pushed in slowly and slid to the side. It was something rather amazing. From the way the top of the key looked, that could have been created a hundred years ago or even longer. The key part itself was recent, it had to be within the last few years. As the door opened it revealed something new. It looked to be the belly of the old Asylum, a basement area maybe? A sub basement? Either way, it was lit, but not well, and it stunk. Stagnant air and strawberry quick. Every little movement seemed to echo through the place.

Grimm, Indiana (Police Station): Roy finished checking the small station and there was no body or anyone else in there. The radio was working but only sporadically and poor Cecily wasn't getting anything to come to mind. There just wasn't enough information on the remaining people. Was this a Grimm thing? Or a Justice thing? Or were the two connected and it was a Juno thing? Roy looked over towards Cecily and sighed. "I got nothing, going to try to call that damn sheriff once we get out of the building," he said motioning towards the door. Waiting for Cecily, he slowly worked his way back just in case something or more importantly someone was missed. Outside he sighed. "Get in the car, gonna try to call now," he said before pulling out his phone and making the call. It went straight to voice mail.

The large man known as Mr. Titian looked over at Prima Rave and gave her a broad grinned as he knelt down next to her. If anyone came too close he was large enough to move them most likely. The woman needed air and room until someone got there that knew what they were doing. "Sure thing girl, ain't nothing no decent person wouldn't have done," he said, giving her a bit of a wink. Whether he was being sassy or not was anyone's guess. Chances were he wasn't thinking that hard on it and was just spouting off the first thing that came to his mind. The man wasn't exactly a planner. Titian didn't plan, he did!

Turning his head he glanced over as a commotion started to rise and stood up slowly. That was... Unexpected. The Lord of the Manor had just keeled over. Tilting his head to the side like a confused dog he looked at the man's plate. He hadn't gotten any food yet. And hadn't drank anything that he could remember. "Nah, if it was the food or the drink, I'd already be dead," he said before looking at the door as more came in. So the doctor was there now and the professor, and the little woman he had warned. She obviously didn't listen to him. Shrugging he knelt back down next to Prima Rave. "Don't worry, it ain't nothin' bad, I've had worse," he told her as he pointed to a very faded scar that ran the length of his face on one side. It was hard to see unless it was in the right light or was pointed out. It went right over his eye.

Panama pointed to a chair and nodded. "Fuck yeah, more the merrier!" he exclaimed. He was bored out of his skull. Granted this wasn't as boring as Quarantine used to be when they first started doing this but it still got monotonous after a few days. If people were willing to play cards he was all for it. "Pull a chair over sugar," he said Amelia. Shuffling the cards he shrugged. "I figured just straight up poker for now, everyone knows how to play that?" he asked looking around. He figured Hank did, the man looked like the type to play poker while smoking a cigar on Thursday nights to avoid the wife.

Atticus nodded towards Thalia and Alexander before glancing over to Panama. "Hey, Eric, don't forget interviews start soon so try not to lose your ass before your cover arrives," Preacher chuckled. Panama perked a brow and thumped his hat back a bit as he leaned back in his seat.

"Who the hell is covering for us?" he asked. He hadn't bothered checking the roster this morning. Picking up his coffee cup, he went to take a drink.

"Wolverine and Checkbook," Atticus said with a big grin. Panama coughed and had to turn his head to keep from drowning everyone as he spit it out.

"Checkbook!?!?! General lost his damn marbles?" he asked as he wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve. Atticus just laughed and shrugged before turning towards Thalia and Alexander and motioning for them to follow him. Walking out of the room, Major held the door open until they were all out before closing it again. "Think Maddog knows?" Panama asked towards Major. She gave him a nod. Shaking his head, Panama set down his cup and dropped a hand towel on the ground, letting it soak up what he had spit out.

Atticus was still chuckling as he lead both Thalia and Alexander out of the Quarantine building. Compared to how it was inside, it was like an oven walking out the door and it hit hard. It was hot and humid. The only good thing was that it was overcast and the sun wasn't blinding them. "This way," he said as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Taking a puff as he walked. He kept a slow pace so Alexander wouldn't have trouble keeping up. They hit the side walk and started heading east on the main road. "It's just a couple of blocks to Fabrication and Mechanics," he said pointing down the street.

Two people were crossing the street towards them. One was an middle aged man with broad shoulders and brown hair. The other was a girl that looked to be in her late teens, maybe early twenties with blonde hair on a skateboard. "Yo Preacher," the man called out as they got within ear shot. "Where you headed?" he asked as he snatched the cigarette out of Atticus's lips and took a puff.

"Taking these two to see Tesla and Volts," Atticus said as he took it back and ashed it. The girl clipped the curb and jumped her board before coming to a stop near them. "Oh, Thalia, Alexander. This is Roy and Nikki," he said introducing them. Roy nodded, the girl looked them over, tilting her head to the side.

"What up?" she said. Not so much actually asking but more in greeting. "Come on, we gotta go," she said towards Roy, tugging on his shirt impatiently. Roy didn't move at first. Then she grabbed a good chunk of the fabric and started dragging him. Atticus laughed and gave Roy a look that said you're problem, not mine.

Screwing his cigarette in his lips he waved before he started walking again. "Come on, Volts hates to be kept waiting," he said. It wasn't long before they got to the building. Fabrication and Mechanics looked to be what used to be an old car repair shop with four stalls. Two were still open, but the two towards where the offices would have been were closed off and sealed behind windows and a door. Atticus opened the door to the Fabrication area and the AC hit them. Telsa was sitting on a stool and there was a tall large dark skin man standing next to him. "Volts, Tesla," Atticus said as he held the door open for Thalia and Alexander.

"Hey man, sweet you brought them," Tesla said as he jumped off the stool. Volts looked over and nodded slightly. "We got your gear," Tesla added brightly. "Okay, who's first?" Tesla asked.

Atticus looked over towards Thalia. "Why don't you two take Alexander first, I promised Thalia I would talk to her," he said as he stepped towards another door with a window in it. It looked like it lead to what used to be a waiting room and was used not as a break room. Opening the door, he motioned for Thalia to follow him and have a seat.

"Come over here," Volts said as he stepped over to a chair that had a stool in front of it. Volts squatted down on the stool and waited for Alexander to come over to the chair and sit down. Tesla grinned and walked over to the bench where two items were sitting covered with a towel. Picking one up, he pulled the towel off and held up the prosthetic leg. "Managed to make the foot the same shoe size, so as long as you wear pants, no one will tell."

"The ankle joint angle can be changed," Volts said as he took the leg as it was given over to him. "Just press here," he said showing where. "Three angles. Flat for basic walking and standing. Slightly bent, and furthest. The other two are good for running, just will have to find what you like better as you get used to it."

"Now, the socket here, where you stick your stump in. You fold that down and get good pressure when you put your stump in. It's padded but the pad will have to replaced. Usually good for about six months around here, let us know if it rubs away faster than that," Tesla chimed in as he pointed. "Then once you get your stump in there, stand up and roll the rubber up. It will suction to your real leg and hold snugly in place."

"Now don't think it will be magic. These things getting used to. Saw your other and damn. Adjustment period coming up but at least one will last. Rustproof. Titanium rod. If the rubber tears or starts stretching let me know so I can repair it before it rips. Don't swim in it if you can and take it off before showers. Just causes wear and tear that you can avoid," Volts said as he sat there.

"Right and oh here," he said holding out a plastic bottle full of white powder. "Baby powder, will help keep you dry so you don't get heat rash." He grinned. "So, let's get this baby on!" Clapping his hands together and rubbing them. Volts handed out the leg to Alexander once he was seated and the two would help Alexander get it on safely and snugly. Explaining how to care for it and such. Once it was on, they would help him stand on it for the first time and then let him take a walk around the room to get a feel for it. First with crutches and then without. The whole process would take about 45 minutes until they were sure he was good to go and it was time for Thalia. Once Alexander was all done, he and Thalia would switch places and she would go through hers. (Sigil and I will be collabing her talk with Atticus and getting hers.)

Back in Quarantine, the door opened and Roy walked in. "Yo, Wolverine!" Panama called as he spotted them, in the middle of dealing cards. Roy nodded and held the door open, the round of something rolling across the floor was getting closer. Then Nikki came in on her skateboard and came to a stop, blowing a bubble with the gum she was chewing. Both of them had side arms. Flipping her skateboard up, she tucked it under her arm. "Checkbook..."

"Deliverance," Nikki said with grin as she bounced on the balls of her feet. Roy rolled his eyes a bit as Panama set down his cards and walked over to them. Reaching into her back pocket, Nikki pulled out a folded sheet of paper and handed it over to Panama. Unfolding it he looked it over before handing it over to Major, who took a quick read and nodded as she handed it back. Turning, Major went ahead and left the room.

"A'right, gonna get this show on the road," Panama said before looking down at the list. "I'm gonna take you, one at a time, to your interviews. We only have six today so shouldn't be bad. Most of y'all will be goin' tomorrow," he said before continuing. "This is Wolverine," he said pointing to the tall man standing there in jeans and a button down brown shirt with the sleeves rolled up. "And this is Checkbook," he added gesturing towards the rather young girl with the skateboard, dressed in black skinny jeans, matching tank top with a maroon tinted oversized men's t-shirt over it, the neck had been cut wide open so it hung off her shoulder. The sleeves were cut off as was half the shirt at her waist so it didn't hang low. "They're yer guards while this is goin' on." Roy looked like he didn't want to be there, Nikki was grinning.

"Up first, Maldonado," Panama said and waited for the man. Roy leaned back against the wall where Major had been standing and crossed his arms over his chest. Roy was used to this type of detail and usually things remained calmed. He hoped they would, he didn't want any incidents. As far as he was concerned, the end of the world was the best thing that could have happened considering where he was from. Justice, California needed to be wiped from the map.

Nikki popped a bubble with her gum and leaned her skateboard against the wall behind Roy before going to one of the chairs and pulling it out, slightly between the pool table and where people were playing cards. Sitting down, her legs went loose in front of her and she slouched down, looking over at the people at the pool table and giving a nod of her head. "Sup?" she said, once again more as a greeting than an actual question.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Remember how I said to hold those interview to post until later? I am changing that - You will NOT post your interviews! Again DO NOT POST YOUR INTERVIEWS! So what do you do? Simple, look at the list below. If your characters name appears you will post being escorted out for the interview and then being brought back after the amount of time posted next to your name. What happens in the interview is between you and the interviewer. (After a lot of thought on this and seeing how all the interviews turned out, I decided this could be a lot more interesting and cut down on chances of metagaming. So what happened in the interview and who your character was interviewed by is up to you to reveal or not to the rest of the group.)
  • Wayne Maldonado - 15 minutes
  • Hank Wright - 1 Hour, 45 minutes
  • Erica Monroe - 30 minutes
  • Nigel Cooper - 45 minutes
  • Emmanuel Newman - 30 minutes
  • Beatrice Decker - 1 hour

~Doesn't matter the order they are listed here - when you post just check who has posted before you, they would have gone already if they are on the list and are back now. Then your characters name is called, you react to what is posted already, and then go, come back, and end there.

Tatiana Newnan

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: Psychology, People Reading

Glancing over and up, she spotted Froggy. Coming over and looking for a book. Hadn't it been made obvious that she was trying to get Ash away from prying eyes? And yet he still had to come over. Maybe not to look at Ash but still. It irked her. The man supposedly had some training in psychology, but apparently not anymore. She hadn't really wanted to talk to Froggy since he showed up. Initially she had been overwhelmingly happy to see him, now she wasn't so sure. Something wasn't sitting right with her. She hadn't really tried to see who he was anymore. Little glimpses were beginning to bother her. Granted it took her a while for her to really be on much of speaking terms with anyone, including Jack. Still, even now, she was more open with Ash than anyone. Everyone in Newnan had lost people and lost their home but for her, she felt her and Ash had lost something else. He was no longer in command, she was no longer a counselor. In her mind, they would never be those things again. Things that were a huge part of who they were. It was one of the reasons she gravitated to Ash over the others. Tati figured everyone else form Newnan could either go back to what they had been doing in way or the other in time. She could never bring herself to be a counselor again and from the looks of this place, Ash would never been in command again.

Looking away she looked back at Ash and sighed. Giving a slight nudge back. She kept her voice quiet as she spoke. Unless someone came over and tried to eavesdrop they wouldn't hear her. If they did, she'd shove the bookcase on top of them and do the Nutcracker Ballet. "It's vhat sisters do," she said as she turned her head and looked at the wall across from them. At his words she quirked a brow. "Vould you really vant to?" she asked as she glanced over to him out of the corner of her eye for a moment. "Love come slov or quick. Love never leaves easy. If does, it vasn't love." Shrugging she picked at the nail bed of her thumb. "Stronger the love, longer it take." Resting her head back against the wall, it rolled until she rested it on his shoulder. "You cared for Alicia but admitted you tvo not in love. Dat took year after knev sure she gone. You feel much stronger about this, take much longer."

Leaning forward as people either left the room or were taken, Tatiana peeked her head out to take a look at their new guards. Looking them over before resting back again and getting comfortable. During the whole thing, neither her or Ash were called, so they had time to talk and with less people in the room. During all the walking in and out, Jamie was having none of it. Slipping down out of Jack's arms and plopping on his rear end. He wanted mamma. Little hands and knees scurried along the floor as he went over the book case and past it. Grabbing Tatiana's toes and squealing. Tatiana smiled and held her hands out to him, he laughed and bounced on his rear a few times. "You excited?" she asked watching him. He was one of the few things that made her smile these days.

Gripping her toes harder Jamie rocked and bent over. Tatiana sitting up from the wall and watching him. "Don't chev my toe!" she warned but that wasn't what the little tot was up to. Slowly he stood up on his chubby legs. This wasn't the first time he had done this. He had been holding onto things and using them to stand and try to walk but he had yet to take his first steps without help. That was all about to change. Letting go as he stood up, Tatiana waited for him to fall flat on his diaper. Then it happened and her eyes widened. "Yes, come momma," she said holding her arms out and bent her legs to get them out of the way. One wobbly step, then another. The kid was walking and Tatiana couldn't help but giggle. It seemed though, he wasn't going for momma, at least not exactly. He was facing her but his butt was to Ash. His little legs and he had had enough, knees bending as he planted his rear onto Ash's leg and squealed in delight, hugging onto his godfather. "Vell I be damned, you vanted Ash," Tatiana said surprised. She wasn't exactly sure how this was going to go over with anyone else but she in awe. Not so much that Jamie had walked, she had been waiting for it, but who she went to. Seemed the kid wanted Uncle Ash.

Wayne Maldonado

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)
Skills: Detecting

Wayne looked over towards Jack and rose a brow. "What'd I say? Shit," he asked but shrugged. He wasn't too concerned. Leaning back he yawned slightly. Now he was bored and yet he still wasn't going to put in any fucking John Hughes bullshit. It was a good thing to, seemed people were getting read to be taken for interviews. As Major left and the two new people showed up, Wayne watched them both. The man obviously used to be a cop. He just had that stance. The girl, god she had to have been in middle school when the outbreak happened, maybe High School. She was young. Like by far the youngest person in the room besides the baby. He glanced towards Hank, Nikki or Checkbook as they called her, looked like she could have been just about the same age Hanks daughter would have been now if she were still alive.

Turning his head he head the baby squeal and looked over. Only seeing the feet of the two sitting behind the book shelf. Then the kid stood up and started to walk. "Aww hell, he's mobile!" Wayne laughed a bit. That was pretty cool. He didn't know for sure that was the kids first steps but after the last four days of watching him crawl or only waddle holding onto something, he figured it was. That was pretty cool, even in his book. He had missed watching his own kids first steps, so seeing this was a little bitter sweet but Wayne wasn't one to dwell. He grinned and nodded as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Nothing stopping that kid now."

Then he heard his name. Stretching as he stood up, he strode over to the door and followed Panama out. It was time for his interview. He didn't know what to expect or who was interviewing him. He was hoping it was Daytona. Rawr. Yet, about fifteen minutes he came back. That was fast. He looked a bit confused and walked over to his recliner and sat down. Lacing his fingers together he placed them behind his head and just sat there quietly. Apparently, even if it had been a fast interview it had left him a lot quieter than he normally was.

Something Unexpected

The Lord of the Manor sat there. He was watching everything going on and he was vexed. Very vexed. The entire evening had been a disaster. This was not how things were supposed to go. There was supposed to be a ball, there were plans. This was not them. These people in his home, these uninvited guests, acting as if they were owed anything besides the cold. He didn't have to take them in, to allow them into the warmth of his home. He pulse quickened at the very thought of some of their audacity. They were not there for the ball, they were strangers in his home. He had every right to see their faces. He had more rights than that. To know exactly who they were and just what had brought them there beyond a simple invitation that they had shown. From the way they acted he knew not one of them would have just let the same happen to them in their own homes. They would have demanded as many answers if not more. From the looks of some of them, they would have done far worse than he had. He had demanded simple respect for his home and yet not even that was given from the lot of them.

The pale woman sat there, putting her glass down as she watched. The last two having removed their masks. It was the first time she had seen them without them and she tilted her head to the side looking at Cobalt. The other four men at the table seemed to be busy eating but not her. Her eyes drifted from Cobalt and over towards Lord Bardolf. Her lilac eyes widening as the man sitting at the head of the table broke into a cold sweat. "Father?" she asked, saying so much more than just the single word that left her lips as she leaned closer to him. He grabbed his chest, clutching at his breast of his coat. "Father!" she cried as she stood up, her thing fragile body moving quickly. "Jasper!" she called and Jaspers head jerked to the the direction of her voice.

"My Lord!" he called out as he rushed over as Bardolf collapsed on the table, leaning over as his body convulsed and strained. "Sir!" Jasper said as he got there. The woman stepping back as her hand covered her mouth. This wasn't happening but it was. Something had happened. Jasper was rushing to try to get him to sit up. To see if maybe he was choking on something but that wasn't it. It was something more but what? The Lord of the Manor was gone and Jasper looked over at the girl. "Lady Analia...He's gone..." he said in a quiet voice. She shook her head, she couldn't believe it. "I'm so sorry child..." Jasper looked around at the people. There was no sign of foul play but he wasn't counting it out as his eyes narrowed.

Down in the sewing room during all this, things had been taken care of and Rhoda went to the door and opened it. Quinton was standing there and waiting. The two exchanged a few words before Quinton looked at the three. "This way," he ordered and waited for them to join him. Leading them up the stairs to the third floor and through the maze of rooms until they came to the State Dining Room. The door opening and Quinton stepping in with the three of them in tow. Only to stop a few feet in the room as he spotted the lifeless form of the Lord of the Manor sitting there, having been leaned back in his chair by Jasper. Jasper looked over to him with sadness and anger in his eyes.

"Alert the guards, no one leaves this house alive until we settle this," Jasper barked.

Lady Analia looked towards Jasper. "There's no one to protect me now..." she said as she spun and dashed weakly towards one of the windows to get away from the crowd of people.

October 31st, 1943 - Just Breathe

Just breathe. A simple action. Natural. Automatic. Yet at times it isn't that simple. The hooded eyes of Siduri closed and she focused. Focused on the winds around her, the rustling of leaves in the trees. The sound of her heart beating in her ears. Count. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Yes, there it is. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Do you hear me? Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Yes, I hear you. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Where are you? Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. There you are. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Would you? Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Even for a short time? Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Thank you. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five.

Ballet pink slipper eyes opened and flickered rapidly as she stepped off the porch. Her fragile form seeming to glide over the ground as she moved around the main house and towards the swamp. Towards the waters edge. Towards the tree. Her long face tilting to the side as the grave came into view. The dirt still loose. There wasn't much time. It would only be temporary but it was an added figure to their small arsenal. Swallowing, her thing throat bobbed slightly. Leaning down, her white dress piling up around her ankles as she pressed her hands into the fresh earth. Running her fingers through it and letting it fall like sands through an hour glass. A small quake reverberated through the loop. It wasn't something that anyone would miss.

Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Fight for it. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. It won't be easy. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. There, keep coming. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Follow the pull. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five. Don't stop, you're so close. Breathe in, count. One, two, three, four, five. Breathe out, count. One, two, three, four, five.

There it was, she felt it. Skin to skin. Hand to hand. Earth shifting, soil moving, rising and falling. Lacing fingers together she slowly stood to rise and he rose. A layer of the swamp covering him, dirty but dry. Dead but alive but was that anything new in these parts? For this one, it was. His jade green eyes shining as he blinked and stepped from the grave. He looked confused, lost. She looked understanding as she lead him from the hole that sunk in as his body left the space. "You? You, it was you?" he asked in an British accent. She just nodded. Yes it had been her. "I thought it was a dream."

"No my child but like all dreams, this will end." He seemed to understand. This wasn't permanent, this was only temporary. Then again, life always was.

Scotland

Kirkpatrick House: While the butler was waiting for a name so he could announce the new guest, the Lady Kirkpatrick kept working on drying out the carving in the potato. It wasn't the best medium for her to do her work but it would work in the temporary and destroying the evidence was much simpler than casting an actual wax press out of wood or metal. It would work for this. The design was simple enough anyways. Leaning back in her seat she waited for Maeve to return with the wax. When she did she took it and nodded. "Very good dear," she said as she started to heat up the wax in the candle.

It would take a moment before it was ready. "When I was young, such things were needed. Much simpler when I was dealing with those of lower classes as their papers were not as complicated. Such a note like this brings me back to those days. Official papers can take such time, such inks, brush strokes. Perhaps," she said as she brought the melting stick over and let it drip on the letter before pressing the fresh carved potato into it. Letting it set for a moment before pulling it out. It worked and she grinned. "This particular set of skills would be useful for you in the future," she said with a slight grin coming to her lips as she picked up a knife and destroyed the make shift emblem. Picking up the original letter she held it over the candle's flame and let it catch on fire before dropping it on her plate, letting it burn to ash.

Gretna Green: Veta looked around slowly as she sat up carefully, standing up once she was untangled from William and gripping the hilt of her sword. "Dat was not normal vas it?" she asked. She hadn't ever been to Scotland, so she had no idea what weather could or could not be present. She didn't think anything about what had happened was normal but she couldn't be sure and at this point, she wasn't ruling anything out. The carriage door flung open and Rutherford stumbled out, holding his head, he had cracked it on the side of the carriage and it was bleeding slowly through his fingers.

"What the hell just happened?" he asked looking around, stopping dead in his tracks as he spotted they were now missing the front of the carriage, the driver, and the horses. His eyes narrowed as he looked at the Grand Duchess. "What did you do?" he asked in an accusatory tone. Slowly, Millicent peeked her head out and looked around. Despite the accident, she looked to be intact. Her hair was messed and her clothing ruffled but all in all she looked no worse for the wear.

Poor Ludwig, my sweet poor Ludwig. Dieter, the ferret not the brother, crawled out and nudged the side of Ludwigs lifeless cheek with his nose, squeaking slightly. Ludwig didn't move and the little creature tried again. He seemed lost as he looked over at Constantin. A whimpering call coming from his mouth. The little thing had lost his trainer, his friend, the one that took care of him. Ludwig had raised him from a tiny pup, they had been together for nearly seven years so far. Dieter was supposed to die first, not Ludwig.

In Gretna Green proper, the horses barreled towards Ny and Virginia. Yes, they needed to get out of the way. While Virginia was standing there, Ny said nothing. He wasn't thinking on the who's or the why's. That would have been out of place right then. As when something is barreling towards you about to trample you to death you don't think of things outside of that. Especially things that were abit above the pay grade of their mind, that was best left to the dice to determine. (Having close to a meta there >.>) Ny, thankfully did something, grabbing Virginia and pulling her out of the way as the carriage remains and the man being drug behind it whooshed past them. (Roll: 19) "When facing danger, act," he said as he started to look around for a way to stop the carriage but nothing was coming to his mind right then.

Notes: Remember - all directions are from the Docks. So if you want to go from one to the other you would need to head back to the docks and then go to another place. (Two rounds to get from one place to the docks, two rounds to get from docks to next place.)

To the left they would find the market and bazaar.
Straight ahead they would find the rose gardens and perfume dealers.
To the right there was a sign for Tours to Athribis and Leontopolis. Leontopolis was known for it's ancient tiles. Athribis was known as the birth place of Amenhotep and many artifacts in the museum back in Cairo held pieces from many a dig that had happened there, transported on rails by trains funded by a George Jay Gould. This is also where you will find the main train depot in the area.

Boat: Well the man is still out cold but the hallway is clear, at least it appears that way at first. The hallway itself is free from foot travel but beyond the hall, one can see through the portal on the door to the bridge. People were up there but they were working and didn't seem to take notice of Reddish and Josephine as of yet. This was good and perhaps their only chance to book ass out of there and try to get around on the ship some. They had two choices, try to get past the bridge without being spotted or go back through the infirmary, out the back door, and down the stairs behind it to the Elite deck.

Docks By Boat: Well that was unexpected. They had already had one person show up injured and now another. Thing was, this person obviously had had a bit worse of time about things than the previous. There was a problem though, it was hard to recognize the woman. She was stung up pretty bad and didn't exactly look like herself. "Um, woah..." one of the guards said as he looked at her. The other took a step back, as if she had been infected by one of the plagues of Egypt, boils and sores. "I... do you have a ticket?" he asked. Even if he felt bad for her condition, he couldn't do anything until he had a ticket and even then, it would take time. First thing was first, he'd have to have a ticket. Then they could try to help, maybe.

Train at Athribis: Poor Richard. His nose. Yeah, that thing is busted and there is blood. On him and on the window. Window is in tact however. Now, this doesn't seem to get the attention of anyone else on the train, they were forced on what was going on outside of the train. I guess, all we can say is at least he didn't set himself on fire as of yet. Maybe Vera's luck got transferred to Richard, only time will tell. People are allowed to leave the train now but are being cautioned to be careful out there. It doesn't seem to be an attack or anything but there is a line forming outside of the train as people are buying return tickets, ready to get the hell out of there as a goat rushes past the windows of the train, chasing some poor woman.

Athribis: As everyone got out of sight of the rest of the people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, or like a mad goat was chasing after them laughing in baa's, whichever works, it seemed a bit calmer where the group was. Nora wasn't able to pick anything out grand. Just able to follow Belladonna. Gene, well she was having a pull in her stomach and in the back of her mind. And she wasn't the only one. Belladonna turned slightly and looked around, as if something was off as she pressed her palm to her abdomen. She had had this feeling before, it was almost like a calling, a need, but it felt off. Looking over towards Reginald, who was escorting her for now, Belladonna looked towards where the path took them further, down and beneath the main dig, into the ruins. "Somewhere out of the sun," she said before she started walking again.
