⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Quinton nodded as he leaned back against the wall. He wasn't one for idle conversation and just stood his post for now. Keeping an eye on things as it were and making sure that Dr. Swamp or Chanteuse Amaranthine didn't try to make a break for it or go somewhere they shouldn't be. Anyways he had something on his mind. Two things actually. One was what Mr. Titan, the loud mouth, had whispered to him back on the first floor after the shot had been fired. The so called information he had given him made him question several things. Especially the way he worded it. Maybe the man was just dumb or maybe he was playing him. Or maybe, just maybe, he had been telling the truth. It was something to think on that was for sure.

The second thing was, he was missing two items on her person and he hadn't yet informed anyone as of yet that he had. Where they could have gone and who could have taken them was a mystery, just as much as what had happened to the Lord of the Manor. Granted a key and a knife was not exactly something to really worry about. Whoever took them still had to be inside the Manor, the storm was too much. And it wouldn't be wise to bring it up just yet, not at least until they knew what happened to Lord Bardolf. Granted, seeing as Dr. Swamp was the only person who could really do anything to try to tell how the man died, it didn't matter what he said, they would have to go with it. Even if he hid something, there was no one it seemed that could attest to otherwise. Well maybe one but she did talk too much.

Over in confinement, well there is really nothing to tell you other than what the rafters look like but hey, they look the same as when you entered. That's good right? Oh wait, there are a few things. One, those in there that haven't rolled yet for Cobalts last post still need to. Interesting to see how this is playing out. Another is, Walnut is feeling an odd sense of wanting to be back around Amaranthine. And is very pulled towards Rave at this time. Oh my, just what is going on?

November 1st, 1943 - A New Day

The Carnivale train as it were and those that had called the Plantation home for some time were moving off the grounds. Ben looked over towards Faith and nodded as he started to drive forward once she was situated. Peter cast a glance in Gio direction and smiled slightly. "Nor I myself but yet here I am, truly a remarkable turn of events but I do wish they were under much more serene circumstances than this bloody mess that we seem to be in at this point in time." Turning his head forward he kept walking, doing his best to move with his limp and without a cane in hand but he managed. At least they were not having to sprint right then. And it wasn't that he was ungrateful to be brought back to the land of the semi living but he did so wish his leg worked better. He was a fighter, a proper leg would have been useful.

"This entire thing does make me question so much more, at least in my mind. Though questions are at least left until a time where we are not on the run, or semi move. As it were," he added. If he was back, who else was back? Or gone? Where were the other Paradoxes? Where they safe? Had something happened to them for him to be brought back? If one could be brought back, why him? Was it just because his body was on the ground, or was there something more in play? And what was happening in Egypt right then? Something had been up. Something beyond what he had seen before. Was George still with Vera? Was she safe? He dared not think of trying to go back again, he shouldn't have the first time. He wasn't going to make the same mistake again.

Once everyone was off the grounds, the loop gave way. Normally when a loop closed, it was nothing really. It was just that time kept marching on as if it was simply turning from one minute to the other instead of restarting. And that was nearly how it went this time. Almost. As one second turned over to another and the new day turned over there was a shimmer. Not just to the grounds that had been within the loop but the entire world now. It was enough for Ben to hit the breaks easily and stop the caravan of Carnivale and stick his head forward as he looked through the front windshield. "Da hell?" he remarked. "Why does everything look like I just got dun rubbing my eyes?" he asked. Not really to Faith but just in general. His head turned and he looked over to her. "Or am I seeing stuff and thangs?" he asked her. Oh he was seeing things alright, thing was, it was the same thing everyone else was seeing.

Deeper Than The Sands

Notes: Remember - all directions are from the Docks. So if you want to go from one to the other you would need to head back to the docks and then go to another place. (Two rounds to get from one place to the docks, two rounds to get from docks to next place.)

To the left they would find the market and bazaar.
Straight ahead they would find the rose gardens and perfume dealers.
To the right there was a sign for Tours to Athribis and Leontopolis. Leontopolis was known for it's ancient tiles. Athribis was known as the birth place of Amenhotep and many artifacts in the museum back in Cairo held pieces from many a dig that had happened there, transported on rails by trains funded by a George Jay Gould. This is also where you will find the main train depot in the area.

Boat (Infirmary): "Yes, you stay here, I will be right back," the man said to Mosi before heading down the hallway. The bridge was only a few doors down and one could see it from the door of the infirmary. Taking a breath he moved quickly and headed to the bridge door. Knocking rapidly until someone opened. There was a quick explanation between him and the crew before the Captain stepped over. After a few more words the Captain came back with the man and one other. The Captain rushed into the room and knelt down by the man.

"He looks to have fainted," he said rolling his eyes. Picking up a pitcher of water from the desk he took a step back and just poured it on the Doctor. The doctor gasped and sputtered but snapped out of his unconsciousness quickly. Jumping up and looking around like he had seen a ghost. He was mumbling and looking very confused. When he saw Mosi he screamed and jumped back. That he hadn't expected. "Good god man, take a breath, she's only been stung!" the Captain said rolling his eyes. This was too much excitement for a tour boat.

Boat (Lauren's Room): Vera looked around utterly confused to the entire situation. George wasn't there? Josephine had broken the door in? Just what in blue blazes was going on. Slowly and carefully sliding off the floor and onto the bed she pulled the remains of the sheets off her feet and blew out a long breath, fluffing and blowing the curls out of her face. "Oh dear," she said quietly as her eyes darted around the room.

At least she was dressed now and had been able to do so before the entire thing had happened. She had hoped to suck it up and go find the others. She so did want to see the dig sites while they were docked but at this rate, it wouldn't be wise to go off and try to find them. And what about George? "Ruffians? Oh my, yes, I will go with you. Something untoward could have happened to George, I do not believe he would have just left for no reason, he has been very attentive," she said not exactly knowing what to do but what she did know, she needed to stay in the back of this. She was no fighter and well the last thing they needed was her tripping over her town two feet. Which happened all too often.

Athribis (Above Ground): Richard is going to be able to work his way through the crowds. They are thinning out and most of them are now boarding or have boarded the train back to the city itself. They just want to get the hell out of there and who can really blame them. I mean if goat kept trying to butt my butt I would get the hell out of dodge as well. As he gets further away from where the crowds were running around having their own little catastrophe he is able to pick up on a few sets of foot prints that lead into the underground part of the Athribis dig. This looks to be the best way to go. Only a few sets of prints and moving at a steady pace instead of running around like mad men and women.

Athribis (Underground): Good god, okay. The rolls just fucking hate you peeps today. That or they have it in for the Lord Major. It is a good thing that more than one person is trying to help the Major get out of the hole. It took a combined effort of everyone that was trying, including the Lord Major himself, to get a high enough total to get him out of there and on the ground above the hole. I mean seriously. This was bad. 3 rolls added together gave you a success. This is not an easy thing to do and it is awkward, hard, and by the end the ones that were working on this, Lord Major included, are all winded and just glad the whole thing is over. Yeah, Lauren is right - probably wasn't the best idea but at least the man is out of the hole right now and isn't at the bottom of the hole, if there is one, because, well ain't no one looked yet, which is just funny as hell. Leroy Jenkins as been outdone folks. Now rushing head long into something without thinking will be known as a Lord Major!

Kirkpatrick House: The Lady Kirkpatrick waited to see what Colette would say. In the meantime Maeve isn't having a lot of luck trying to figure out Colette's story right then or if she is telling the truth or not. She can figure out however that she is holding back but whether or not that is just because she isn't sure what she should say or not, or if it is a language barrier, that is still up in the air. Either way, there is more going on here than what is being said but the higher ups do tend to like to keep their secrets close to the vest. While the lower classes are better at using their fists and not really as worried about the whole play for power, the Peers and Gentry use information like a dagger. They can do far more damage with the right information in the wrong hands than an arrow to the heart can.

Gretna Green: Ny looks over towards Virginia and there is a little smile on the old mans lips. "Well, I, I do think that is the nicest thing anyones ever said to me. Yes, quite, I will take that," he said before walking over with Virginia to see the damage that was done. "Oh such a waste," he added. This whole thing would be simple for Virginia. Carriages breaking free weren't exactly a rare thing back in London. She will see the splintered front of the carriage, the harnesses, and so forth and be able to tell very quickly they need to find the other half of the carriage as there were probably move people involved in this. By the looks of the wood, this was a for a hire carriage and not something that a lord would own and travel in.

Veta nodded slowly. "Da, at least for nov," she said towards Vlad and Constantin. Sighing as she ran her fingers through Ludwigs hair. "I do not have relic, I need holy ground." she said in reference to using the Ostanavlivat'sya to help poor fallen Ludwig. Looking around she sighed. "Quickly, Bazhooli, you are best rider. Find church, ve vill go center of city to viat," she ordered as she looked over towards Millicent and William.

Millicent didn't know what to do right then. She only knew a couple of people in passing and well she wasn't exactly close to her fiance. Rutherford had obviously had enough of this entire situation and walked over towards Millicent. "Well this has been grand but we have somewhere to be," he said firmly before taking Millicents arm. She didn't struggle but she looked a little shocked as he started pulling her away from the group. Yet, despite this she went along with him. A look of defeat on her features but she wasn't fighting against it. She just nodded as she started walking to keep up with him and to keep his grip from pulling at her.

Chicago, Illinois (Grimaldi Books): "Yeah, just set it here," she said before making sure his stuff got in the SUV and closing the back up. "Alright, let's get this show on the road," she added before climbing into the driver seat. Once Robert was in and had his seat belt on she turned on the vehicle. She had a navigation system but she didn't power it up. She was going to Grimm and she had lived in Chicago since after she graduated college. She knew both towns, what routes to take at what time of day to get there as fast as possible. She had made this trip enough times that she could do it in the dead of night with no sleep. She had done it before. Hitting the road, it wasn't long before they were outside of Chicago and passing the state line into Indiana. They would hit Gary first and then head south. Adelaide wasn't a religious person but she found herself saying a little prayer as she drove. God she didn't want this to be like last time. That was all she needed.

Grimm, Indiana (Tinder House): Zoie walked around back while Mali was checking the front and inside. The duo from Justice pulled up about this time. There was a rental car out front and a cop car. The place seemed quiet from all things on the outside. Maybe the cop was there to inform them that their son was departed. That would be the assumption at this point, anything else would be a little outside of the realm of reality, no spidey senses tingling. Granted, two men showing up that look like they are out of some 80's cop action flick where a drug runner and 007 on Roids were about to open a can of whoop ass might change that entire scenario.

Grimm, Indiana (Asylum Sub-basement): Alicia looked confused as hell, especially looking at Priya. Hearing Riley's voice her head snapped to the side. She knew Riley. Well didn't know her know her but she had seen her around the building and knew the girl was a singer. What in the hell was she doing there from Justice? Where the hell was she? Alicia had a lot of fucking questions right then but considering she was standing on a cold worn floor in a hospital gown and bandages, she had to take a chance. Something wasn't fucking right. "Mother fucker," she said under her breath but nodded. Looking around quickly and finding the straps that had been holding her down. Picking them up she wrapped them around her fists and started marching like bat out of hell towards the doorway. Peeking her head out and looking left and right before stepping into the hallway.

Grimm, Indiana (Heading Towards The Asylum): Roy looked over towards Cecily. The Asylum? An Asylum? Oh yeah, that was fucking great. "If we run into the fucking Joker, I'm clocking out," he said with a smirk. (Granted little did he know there was a clown running around town, lol) Sighing he started up the car and began the drive away from the police station and towards the Asylum. This was not what he wanted to be doing. Then again was there really anything going on in Justice that anyone wanted to be doing right then? There was blood in the police station and he wanted to find that damn small town cop to deal with shit but Cecily was right. Riley needed help. At least she had Priya with her. Hopefully his new partner was up for the task. Tinder's place just had to wait for now. Hopefully nothing was going on there.

Amaranthine turned her head and there was an obvious look of disbelief on it. Sure she didn't know Swamp and had her reservations about him but what some of them were saying just didn't add up in her mind. "How? He was with me or you," she said towards Walnut, "the entire evening. And him," she said gesturing towards Cobalt. "I find it hard to believe that a man that needs a cane to walk and has now been shot would be agile enough to have been in two places at once," she said before shaking her head.

As the lady spoke, Amaranthine buttoned her lip. Lowering her head. She wasn't going to say anymore right then. The woman was right, this wasn't there home. They were uninvited guests. Sometimes, no matter who you were elsewhere, you shut up and did as you were told. Especially if you were in someone elses home. Sighing she walked with Swamp and Quinton up to the Laboratory. Looking around she bit her bottom lip nervously and set her things down. She wasn't exactly sure what she could do to help but part of her felt like she needed to stay close to Swamp. He seemed to be a target for a lot of unjust accusations. It made her wonder, just why people were quick to point a finger at him. From what she had heard people and staff say, the man Plum had already killed one person. If Swamp had known that, he was simply exacting justice. Not in the way she would have preferred, she couldn't have brought herself to kill another. What was Walnut up to?

Turning her attention to Swamp as he spoke to her she nodded and glanced around. Walking over to a Wardrobe on the wall and opening it. There were a few long coats in there. Pulling one out she slipped it on and then took another into her possession. Stepping over to Swamp she held it out for him. "Should you need one as well," she said offering it to him. She didn't know if he was cold but he had been shot and lost blood, there was a chill in the room. Granted it didn't cross her mind they might need these to keep blood off their clothing. She had never dealt with an operation?

Titian chuckled a bit. "Oh why does anything happen? Like, why would a chair just fly into the air?" Titian said with a smirk on his lips and a sparkle in his eyes. The Lady seemed to have a few words to say on the matter as everyone was voicing their opinion and Titian just stood there with his arms crossed over his chest, watching one small woman in particular. As they were lead up to Confinement he looked around but he didn't look worried, just grinning to himself, something going on inside that head of his but lord only knew what it was, hell Titian himself might not even know what was going on through his mind. It was probably a lot of things, or one thing in particular, probably something he shouldn't have been thinking about right then.

Looking around the Confinement room when they got there he smirked and nodded towards Rave. Yeah, it could have been a lot worse. The room at least was decently warm and dry enough. He had spent nights in far worse and much lower. This obviously wasn't a dungeon and it wasn't outside in the storm. Leaning back against a wall he kept his arms crossed over his chest. "Listen, I ain't bright but I do know two damn things. One. Y'all are idiots if you think Swamp had anything to do with the Lord murder. He wasn't around the man, hell he was with her part of the time," he said motioning to Walnut. "Hell for all we know his ticker gave out." There was a slight pause as a smile grew on his features. "And two, us workin' together? Shit, there's at least one murder in this room I bet and people just be pitting each other against the other. Even I ain't dumb enough to trust the lot of ya. Last time I trusted someone, they just shot themselves in the foot."" He couldn't help but laugh at that last bit.

Checkbook took a step and smiled up at Thana, she looked giddy that the woman she called Sparrow was back. Mizrahi motioned for the girl to come over to him and they walked off. Mizrahi eying the others as he walked over to a chair and dropped his gear before sitting down and smoothing out the legs of his pants. Checkbook went and flopped back down, this time in a chair next to Mizrahi. Major let the door shut and kept her post, watching what was going on. Things, while seeming like emotions were running high, were running in happy for the time, so Major was alright just letting them have their moment.

Plus, she knew Thana, especially after everything that had happened some months ago. The woman was armed and could handle herself. How the rest of the group took Thana returning was still up for debate but for now, those that had approached her seemed happy to see her. Major had to wonder though, what would this mean for the overall group once final reviews were finished tonight. She knew Thana being here wasn't going to make things easier for any to get in, in fact, it might have just made things a lot harder.

Thana glanced over at Ash and rolled her eyes a bit but shedidn't say anything. A brow quirked at what Wayne was saying but as Ash gave the man a one fingers salute she figured it wasn't anything she needed to worry about. The fact the woman she had met the day of the wedding was laughing and saying something in Russian made her feel a little more at ease. That was until she saw Thalia coming over to her. She wasn't sure what to expect from her. Though there was relief in her face as she got closer. She was glad Thalia had pulled through. Thalia had been her best friend on the road and she had only left to try to get supplies to try to ensure her survival. Not only as a commander but as her friend. Now she had an arm, so it was a step up from the last time she had seen her.

A look of surprise came over her features as Thalia pulled her in for a a hell of a hug. Smiling softly she wrapped an arm around Thalia and returned it, chuckling some what as Thalia said she looked like shit."Yeah, well at least I ain't part Terminator," she said flatly. It was a hard jab at the woman's arm loss and the fact now she was part metal but Thana didn't think Thalia would take it the wrong way. They were both snarky towards each other and tended to poke at each other. It was kind of how they showed they cared. "But damn it's good to see ya too Angel," she added with a laugh. It was good to see her. "Should've known yous were too damn stubborn to die."

Turning her head she looked over to Manny and nodded. "Yeah, I am now," she said, emphasizing the word now when Manny stated she was alive. "Wouldn't be without Doc and a lot of others," she added before changing the topic. It wasn't exactly something she was going to talk about now. Especially in front of people she didn't know. As he asked if he could get her anything she shook her head. "No, I'm good. I'm glad y'all made it." Taking a breath her smile faded, stepping over to him and Thana did something she didn't normally to, especially to a civilian. She saluted the man. "You're a hell of a medic Manny," she said as she dropped her hand. It was a hell of a sign of respect. The man might have been a dentist but he had now proven himself on more than one occasion that they couldn't have had a better medical man with them during their trudge through the wilderness.

There were two more she needed to speak directly to now, turning her head she looked over towards Alexander and Beatrice, still waiting to see how they were going to take this. For all she knew either of them could react badly. Not upset she was alive but for other reasons, though from Alexander she wasn't bracing herself as much as she was Beatrice.

Tatiana Newnan

Location: Camp Mexico Beach: Quarantine (W: Conference Room)

Tatiana just kept laughing, having to wipe the tears that were spilling down her cheeks. Knowing Ash was fine now lifted a lot of weight of her shoulders and it showed. She had been worried about him for a long time now. Her mind was turning and she wondered just how the hell this had happened and why they had been told one thing. Then the more she thought about it the more it made sense to her. Especially when she remembered exactly what Gunny had said. No one had ever used the word dead. Tatiana had never been military but she did know how to read people and how to con them. And now a lot of her interview also made a lot more sense.

Righting herself she looked over towards the Major, oh that woman was good. She could learn from her. And if she got in, she was going to make a point to spend as much time as possible around her. Tatiana was good at what she did but the Major made her look like a novice. Though looking away Tatiana rubbed her hands together, wondering to herself just what else was going to come out of the wood work. If Thana was here. Her eyes widened a bit. Oh thank god she had laid shit out when she was in interview. Thana might not have been at Newnan long but she knew the essential personnel. Tatiana and Jack had met her at the wedding. She was introduced to Froggy. Thana had been given a lead position and had obviously gotten very close to Ash. She didn't know what Ash and Thana had talked about but it could have been anything. Thana could have known a lot about Newnan. Especially after spending time on the road with Beatrice. Thana's family ran this place. If she was going to tell anyone anything about Newnan, Thana would have told them.

Wayne Maldonado

Wayne chuckled as he got the finger from Ash. "Lucky bastard!" he laughed as he sat back down. This was a hell of a show. Who needed TV right then. They had their own personal drama unfolding and Wayne was loving it. This was better than the fucking Love Boat. And he had to give props to Ash for not saying anything. If he had just gotten his pole polished you could have bet he would have announced it over a PA system if he could have found one. Sure, Thana was scarred now but she still had half a face that was hot and fuck, those scars just meant she had been through some shit and was strong enough to get through it. In this day and age, that was a hell of a selling point.

Leaning back he swatted the air and shoved something back under his ass. Rocking back and forth in his recliner. God he hoped he got into this place. This shit was fun as far as he was concerned. Okay, maybe not as fun as wacking walkers with a weed wacker but just as entertaining. In a different way with a lot less clean up. Seeing that Lil' Momma was laughing made him smile. He had to admit he liked the little Ballerina and the one handed wonder as well. They were both in better spirits. Wayne was a father, a life time ago. And while these girls were older than his daughter would have been now, he kinda of liked feeling like the weird funny uncle around them. And they didn't seem to mind his constantly talking to himself or his big mouth. Plus he had Hank and perhaps a fishing buddy. Yeah this place could work.

It seemed that there was a lot of talk, from people that honestly had no right to an opinion in the house, of what should and should not be done. Lady Oriold listened as she held her daughter fast against her before letting her go. Lacing her fingers together she stepped forward slowly. Her chin firm as she moved away from the pale girl, whom was looking at her mother wondering what she was about to do. The Lady Oriold was not a harsh speaking woman, nor was she brash like some others. She simply cleared her throat to get the attention of the room.

"I do realize that this evening has been a trying experience for everyone here though I must request that you keep you opinions of how this house should be run to yourself. Please understand it is not your place. This is not your home but ours. As I have been informed not only were you not invited by my husband to the gala that was supposed to occur this evening but some of you have been most brash. You have no authority here and are here at our leave. My husband did extend that to you but that does not mean that the Dowager will honor it, especially if she is made to feel disrespected in her home. I am afraid that if you should continue to act as if you are entitled to anything and continue to display anything but thankfulness for our hospitality I will have to suggest that you be put out in the storm. Which would be the lesser of two evils considering the alternate, which would be the dungeon." Lady Oriold's voice was calm and oddly kind when she spoke. She was not meaning this as a threat but as a warning to them that their habits, at least vocally, needed to be changed and quick. Her husband had given a similar speech but in a much different tone. It seemed they did not heed it.

Sighing, she continued. "Until you arrived our home was peaceful, your arrival has turned things upside-down. Deaths and injuries. And we are receiving mixed information from the lot of you. One pointing one death at one, one pointing another death to another, none of this information lining up with the facts or the," she said, pausing a moment before continuing, "shown personalities of some of you. All of you will remain under guard or locked away until I hear further from the Dowager and all members of my household can converse to try to decipher which of you is truthful and which of you is lying." That was that, Lady Oriold had spoken.

"Rebecca return to your duties until further notice. Jasper if you will," she said before ushering her daughter out of the room, Rebecca following close behind.

Jasper looked around the room. "Do any of you have any sense?" he asked but he was not expecting an answer. "Quinton, escort the doctor and the woman to the laboratory with our Lord," he said before looking back at the others. "The rest of you will be escorted to Confinement for now," he said.

And so it was. Amaranthine, Dr. Swamp, and Lord Bardolf's body were taken to the Laboratory with Quinton there with them. It was a large room, fitting for a doctor, or something far worse. Operating table and instruments and other needed items there. The Lord's body was placed on the operating table and Quinton stepped back out of the way. The others were lead to a room known as Confinement. An Attic room with only a single single bed that looked that it had seen far better days and probably shouldn't be sat on in there, it was the only piece of furniture. The walls were bare and looked to never have been tended to. The only positive thing that could be said about either room really was the fact they were at least warm enough not to freeze to death. Heat from the rest of the house rising to the Attic space.

"I do hope you manners are better when I return," Jasper said before locking the rest of them away in the large room. Thing was now, what do they do? Two in one room with a dead man, the rest in another alone with nothing but themselves and their wits? The four music men were not taken away and were still eating when they all were lead away. This probably wasn't the best of places to be but they weren't out in the storm. That was good, right?

October 31st, 1943 - Time Grows Short

Siduri nodded to Fatih and motioned for her to follow her, making her way back to the carnivale where they were loaded up and ready to go. To exit the grounds to ensure they were out of the loop they would need to take the exit where the carnivale had first entered.Away from the front gate of the house. Normally when a loop closed they could go back in and check for their things if they needed but with the way things where going that was a toss up at this point. There was no time to go back personal things and they did have the Hat. Then again, since the loop was closing, it meant a shift in an Emendators power it seemed, would The Hat still be able to pull a bunny out of his hat by the end of the day? Only time would tell and time wasn't exactly on their side.

Peter looked over towards Gilbert. "I was never one for such things, let us move," he said as the others came into view. Looking around he started walking towards the back of the grounds so he could exit them. He was looking around, studying the place as he went but he was moving well enough. He still had his limp so whatever had happened to bring him back hadn't cured that. Was that something Ben could tend to once they were out? Again, only time would tell. "I could use a spot of tea," he said idly as he walked, the Carnivale about to start pulling out.

"If you would, please join Ben in the cab," Siduri said to Faith. The cab of the truck had Ben alone in it and it was driving Siduri's trailer. Siduri moved up the steps and into her trailer, shutting the door behind her. Ben flung open the passenger door and then righted himself.

"Ready for ya," he said as he started up the truck and waited for her. They would be pulling out once Faith was in and situated. Samson and Jonesy were in the truck behind them, followed by the rest of the Carnivale. Things were happening, not only here but elsewhere. Unbeknownst to the rest, Paradoxes outside of the loop were having issues of their own and well, where they were now? Well that is a story for later.
