Oh we talking highschool? I was talking middleschool. Like, 6th to 8th. Highschool was still shit, but it wasn't like middleschool so it's better by comparison.

In Canada we have Elementary K-7 or 8 depending on province then High School which is either 8 or 9 to 12.

At my school I had too many absences one semester so our vice principals solution was next semester to only give me my graduation required classes so that if I continued to have bad attendance it would only show two glaring marks on the schools record instead of five. The three classes he took away were the three that I got out of bed in the morning for, the ones that kept me sane, drama, cooking and physics.
It might be just me, but I've got no complaints with my own education past middle school. The problem I spoke of is just something of which I am aware. I've had quite a few teachers I really enjoyed, particularly in my last two years of high school.

You are so lucky, the management in my school was more concerned with having a good looking record and reputation than it was the mental, physical or educational state of any of the students.
Australia's doing pretty alright, so I guess you guys got some bad luck.

You are so fucking lucky. The only class in my entire school that had a teacher who made me want to try in his class was drama. Ever other teacher basically had me thinking that if I dropped out of high school I could probably do something better than them. Not strictly true but from there teaching method you'd think they been working at MacDonalds for forty years.
Is this is the American school system at work, or did you guys just go to some really shitty schools?

Canadian school systems, though if we can't get it right up here I can't imagine the US is doing any better.
I assume you were joking, but I personally think that teaching students to feel guilty about who they are and where they come from is a big problem.

The education system is royally fucked. Near as I can tell it is designed to make the smart kids feel like they should be less intelligent, make the... less advanced kids feel like they are failures and teach the middle of the road kids things they already know. Does that sound constructive to you?
That's because it's demon magic. Don't they teach you this stuff in school?

What do they teach in schools these days?

Hey guys, I just started playing Final Fantasy VI again and I realize that in that game they don't actually have horses which causes a slight problem when Terra suggests going to the other end of the ranch to get the horses.

I'm going to edit that post slightly, it shouldn't make that much of a difference overall but I thought I should let you know.
So... no shotgun?

No shotgun.

The Gourd Lake map was chosen essentially because it is empty as fuck.
@Prince of Seraphs I hinted he would actually. Go back to where he heads in the shack. I hinted it there.

This is the dude who lives in that shack. He's not exactly the kind to be harboring large armaments. Besides Doom Marine is in a Phoenix Write game map right now. The only weapons that appear in that game are all in the evidence locker at the police station and most aren't bigger than this:
