Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

The goblin looks at Thymond and nods weakly. "I-I suppose you have questions, as well?" His voice was a wheezy thing. Wringing knobby hands the Fae looked worriedly at the papers. Some splattered with blood and venom from the naga. Thymond would note this hidden stairway, and should Erin go outside. She would see a slight crowd gathering. Old and young looking curiously as the door opened and trying to peer in at the ugly scene. Typical among humans, even so among Fae. Though none dared to approach and many of those less bold quickly wandered back to their own doings should they catch glimpse of Thymond. None wanting to tangle with that one.

Continue as you will.

-Location: Falk's Hall-

Falk snapped the book he was reading close, as he fixed stormy eyes on the mortal who dared to question him. His power whirled in dark shadows as it readied to his call. But the thought to harm was banished quick as it came. She was not the first to ask such things. No the original owner of those clothes had been just the same. To answer one question would lead to several others. There was a noise of reassignment to his willingly taken doom. The only good news was this one was human, she would perish sooner and with less questions and destruction than the other. "As for why we 'didn't take care of the Land'... We did. Then the ancient enemy came and brought war with it. Many of our leaders fell, and left the rest of us to pick up the pieces of the world and restore it. Many forgot this and moved their motive to more... beneficial things. So as you so eloquently put it- my job 'sucks'." He stated the last bit with dry sarcasm.

He raised a brow as she went on to talk about why not treat the humans better? A easier way. And Bodil would be greeted with a rare sound. Laughter, of a sort. A muffled 'heh' of amusement. Not much of a laugh, but one none the less. The king shook his head slowly, this girl was really so blind of the dangers? It showed why he picked the path he did for those 'cow-eyed wierdos'. "And tell me. If this nice, charming lady were to ask you for your name would you give it? Would you feel at ease to ask her for things? Information, items, her own name?" He gestured and Bodil found him behind her. A hand over her eyes, as she saw this 'woman' in the shadows of his palm. As if she was actually standing on a forest trail. A elderly old woman, the very nature of kind and caring. Giving out blankets and food.

"For each blanket, they owe her their first child. For each loaf of bread they owe her any favor she wishes. For each question answered, she may ask a question in turn. For their name given..." Bodil would see a couple among the group screaming as the woman ripped their babe from their arms. The young human couple unable to move to stop her and forced to watch while she bartered the babe off. "That babe will grow up a season-born, a slave, or he will be eaten." The voice was as cold as the north wind, and twice as bleak. For a loaf of bread, Bodil would see a man sobbing as he kills a beautiful young woman. The Fae Granny watching on in glee as the human brings her the face which she puts over her own face and takes the form of the beautiful woman. That scene fades to black. "A favor could be anything. To kill someone, to deliver something. Another child, a sister, brother, mother. It could be to sell out a conspiracy of humans. But once a favor is paid- that chain is broken. Something must be given of equal value to what was accepted." This time the voice was not as bleak and actually seemed to consider this quite reasonable.

He released Bodil, walking out from behind her to a large scroll. Gesturing her to come closer, he laid the map of the Fae Realm on the coffee table. Knocking a pillow from his way and to the floor. Stepping back so she could view the land for herself, shadows whirled across the parchment. Mountains rose from the parchment as did ruins, trees, towns and valleys. Great swaths of plains and forests covered the landscape ringed by water. The Court of Nightmares was depicted on it, as was his Hall in the Autumn woods. To the South was a great tree. "Yggdrasil." He noted, the home of his 'wife'. His eyes looking sadly at the map and the mist covered water.
Geez, Speedy. Richard wasn't dissing NEARLY as hard as Lizzie! Lmao!
@Forett If you're busy I'd give you the extension by the way of moving the Rp on and letting you catch up if that's possible. Sometimes you have to have that happen. *Gestures to Panther*
@Forett Cool! You made it. Just shout a heads up at me if you know you'll need an extension. Or are getting busy!
Alright just to clarify everyone I'm holding off the update to give @Forett the chance to reply.

The Adder gave Nina a smile that was no longer charming. It was filled with chilled venom. He purred to the X-men, casting a more charming smile to Wonderland. This was no longer Richard the reasonable brother nor Richard the charmer. No, this was The Adder, the deadly gun for hire, that wanted the information. Still he didn't reach for a weapon, he didn't need one. Giving Peitro a hurt look of mocking sincerity. "And you didn't care enough to remember about me? I'm hurt, 'Silver. I though those two tidbits might stand out from the get-go. But then you are getting some." He mocked, his voice a deadly velvet. "Really Wonderland. He forgot all about me, is that not just rude?' Richard called over his shoulder, to his ally.

Then casting his gaze towards Nina and Ayita. The girl was not his concern. He'd let Lizzie have her at worse. At best, let her run home. She classified to him as a child, and he didn't see the reason to outright kill her. Though he had a suspicion that would be the only way to stop her if she wanted him Dead. With a capital D. "But really darling in the front. That information? Just give me a tidbit I can use and I'll make sure Wonderful Wonderland here doesn't kill you all- or mentally scar you past recovery." He chastened the eldest of the group. Hoping that charming smile conveyed to Wonderland that live victims later would be more fun. Then she would have time to tinker with how to best have her fun with them. After all, where was the fun if you rushed it? He wanted his information.

Amber eyes glanced at the bars that now blocked their way. A trap, a cage, sprung. That was bad but worse, her eyes snapped back to the business looking man. The last name meant nothing, she had noted amongst her time at the Institute that people could share that. Baring her fangs in a snarl, she glanced between the man and the woman. She had caused this prison, but he was dangerous. The way he held himself, how he had responded to her attack. Still she would hold off the attack. Though not for much longer if the woman made a move or if he did. She felt the instincts roll with fury. A deep growl echoing from her chest, as she slowly stalked in a semi circle away from Nina and the woman. Moving to flank this 'Adder'. The name suited him, Ayita would admit. A deadly snake, for a man whose words were so utterly truthful sounding. She saw no reason to doubt him on what he said, but there was a deadliness to his voice. The female shifter did not care for it.

Slowly, she reached down as she lifted one foot. Gripping the knife in a backwards grip and holding it so this strange woman could not see it. The Adder had moved as to keep all the X-Men in his sight. Even if it meant that he could only see them out of the corner of his eye. But he was not keen on letting anyone get behind him. As much as Ayita admired this- for her intent and purposes it was irritating. Her amber eyes narrowed to slits, he was a shifter. Adder would not just be his name- perhaps his form. Her mind already flipped through her known forms. She liked it not that a poisonous snake might be her opponent. One scratch, one bite. It would be bad at best. At worst? Death. Was she willing to die for humans? The answer was no. Would she bleed and fight? Yes, but it was for her own sake. She needed time and to keep this madness from coming into her territory. That wouldn't do at all.
Working on the post. Will be up by tommorrow. I'm gnashing my teeth over Richard and trying to be reasonably verse not reasonably charming.
