Current It's been a while since I roleplay'ed. With filing for unemployment, a lot of free time has opened up. I hope I can join despite the rep sheet I have for being inactive for some time.

Update: I haven't forgotten about this role-play. I've just been trying to get my character situated while working on the in-character post. Don't put expectations high. I've just been working on it while trying to garner attention.
Damien woke up irritated. A loud, obnoxious sound came from his alarm. The teenager pulled his arm out from under the covers and blindly searched the desk adjacent to his bed. He knocked a few pencils and papers before finding the alarm clock; he pressed the off button in frustration. Sighing, he sat up on his bed and smacked his lips. The taste of morning breath left a sour taste.

He turned his head and picked up the alarm clock for a better view of the time. "Oh, man." He muttered. Damien found himself late to school. No doubt, the noise that just played must have been his sixth alarm notice. The teenager grudgingly got out of bed and headed to the shower.

Damien rushed through most of his morning routine. He merely rinsed his body of water. The teen did apply a coat of body spray to tackle any odors. Brushing his teeth was needed given his morning breath. After everything, he did grab a granola bar and headed to school. The entire process was rushed, but every action did give him a slight hint of pain. Moving boxes for his part-time job stressed out his body in the morning.

Damien held his head up in class with his arm. The subject of the course only bored him. Every day seemed like a regular routine. ALthough, something unexpected did happen to the teenager. Glancing at the note on the desk, he began to wonder the reasons for the sly invitation. Damien only guessed a few natural scenarios in his head.

Most likely, the note could be a chain letter of sorts, though that sort of game was restricted to emails. This could be a first in an actual tangible letter. Damien hoped the note did not come from a band of jealous high-schoolers. Some individuals at school were petty and might harm other students. Damien thought more about that and couldn't think of a reason why students would be jealous of him. His academic standing was not in the lead and neither was his athletic ability.

Damien did think of another scenario. The most probable reason could be a secret admirer. Girls cannot stop liking Damien, or so he thought. Drool climbed out from the corner of his mouth as his daydreamed.

I posted my first narrative five days ago. I want to know if you two will still be joining this roleplay before I make any more progression with the other players.
Post coming later tonight.
My apologies fellow roleplayers, but I'm going to have to pull out of this one, due to the sheer busyness of my schedule recently, so I must drop out several unimportant RPs, so I apologize for any inconvenience, and feel free to put my character to drop out characters.

Sorry to hear that. Happy roleplaying.

Does this mean that team two and team four will have to merge?

That would be the obvious choice, but I want to wait a little longer. Some individuals have not posted yet so I want to see who is still sticking around.

I might give another notification to the whole party to see who is still active before continuing with the narrative.

The bulletin board is filled with various errands and jobs. Some appeared to significant for the whole town while others would only benefit a single person. Other than that, they all shared something in common: a form of a reward upon completion.

Name: VR-17 (Victor Ristore)
Nickname(s): VR,17,Star,Vic
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Height: 5’8 1/2
Weight: 220 pounds
Hair Color: Yellow
Eye Color: Green
Race: Android
Visual Appearance: I couldn’t find a proper picture for my vision.
Written Appearance: VR-17’s head is star-shaped. The color of his entire star-shaped skull is yellow. His eyes are probably the most humanistic trait about him. Fortunately, his eyes are green and match the color of his man-made body. VR-17 does have the ability to talk as his mouth still functions normally.

Most likely by first glance, VR-17’s body is odd. His star-shaped head would get stares and glances every so often, but put that on a green shell of orbs, now you are talking weird. Victor’s physique is made up of green orbs of various sizes. The orbs aren’t necessarily touching, but floating amongst each other. Despite his robotic appearance, he can put on human clothing...well, Victor is limited to only gloves and sneakers.

Personality: VR-17 is an analytical individual. He does carry equations and many different procedures into every task. His robotic components keeps him to a fair schedule. The star portion of him is more curious. By becoming part robot and part alien, he does have many things that interest him. Humans are surprisingly intriguing.

VR-17 does have emotions, he’s not a robot. He’s more of an android. Victor wouldn’t understand somebody’s emotions as he wouldn’t his own. He may come off as insensitive or come out a bit rude when he speaks out loud. That is simply because he does not know of human customs.

Current Story: Victor started off as a star-shaped alien from a distant planet. The reason for his departure included the colonization of a world. His species lived on selling other planets for profit. His initial mission involved the clearing of earth.

Things would have gone accordingly if Victor did not have a ugly landing. His ship crashed into the surface of earth and left his body severely injured. This appeared to be the end of Victor until a Good Samaritan showed up. A scientist with remarkable skill gifted Victor with a new frame and figure. By applying an invisible force field, orbs levitated around Victor to assemble his new build.

Victor can only describe his current situation as lucky; however, he forgotten all of his past memories. Knowing not what to do next, he lived with the scientist in hopes of paying him back. The technology to keep Victor alive turned out to be expensive. VR-17. as dubbed by the scientist, placed himself into a part-time job.

Workin at Mr. Gars, he hoped to make enough money to pay back the scientist for his good deed. Even then, Victor enrolled himself into high school to obtain a better education as the scientist suggested. VR-17 heard by receiving a high school education, he may be able to receive a higher paying job or a promotion.
Level: 1.7
Archetype: Vectorman/Ristar
Store Position: Bouncer
Weapon(s): VR-17 is equipped with small cannons inside the palms of his hands.
Abilities:
Stretchiness: Victor is enabled to stretch out his limbs to grab onto his opponents.
Head Smash: Victor’s head is star-shaped, but made of durable material. His skull is harder than steel in actuality. By grabbing onto his opponents, he attacks them by applying a headbutt. Hitting them with his own face does not cause any damage to himself.
Shapeshift: Victor’s orbs can shift and turn him into anything he desires. He has not worked out the kinks, but at the most, he can morph into a tank.
Friends: (I don’t know.)
Rivals: (I don’t know.)
Enemies: (I don’t know.)

"Initializing built-in alarm clock...Commencing annoying sounds in a repeated pattern. Buzz. Buzz. Victor woke up from his slumber; his eyes immediately opened as he let out a monotone yawn. Most likely, he yawned only because the action resembled humanity. "Yawn. What a glorious slumber I have conquered." VR-17 turned off the alarm clock inside his chest.

His voice emanated a cold, visible mist. VR-17 did not exactly sleep at his home today. A few problems emerged concerning his tardiness in the morning. Without upsetting Mr. Gars, Victor took the liberty of sleeping at work. Preferably, he placed himself in the frozen department. His giant feet squashed a few frozen peas.

His breath did leave a considerable amount of condensation on the glass door. VR-17 blinked a few times to look past the frozen door. He focused on the clock hanging on the wall. Victor became extremely disappointed once he could see the minute and hour hand clearly. "Hmm, this must be what disappointment feels like,"

The android had set his alarm clock for 5 am, but must have accidentally inserted 5 pm. VR-17 did not wish to become late in the morning; however, now he became more than a few hours late. He twitched at the thought of Mr. Gars reprimanding him. "I blame the economy of this situation."

VR-17 then noticed a slight change in the people inside the store. In the freezer, his ears did pick up a faint cry. It sounded like trouble was brewing in the parking lot. Victor acknowledged his job involved guarding the store and he needed to spring into action. VR-17 stepped through the freezer glass without opening the door. The glass shattered against his massive body and fell to the floor.

Victor Ristore walked through the side of the building. His body left a concrete outline on the wall. "Have no fear. My shift has started. The hole in the wall behind him began crumbling a bit.
