There's no problem with that. It only makes sense that all four subsets arose from one group. But I don't know that they can be considered separate species because their phenotypes are different, but it seems to be a random aspect of the genome due to the fact that they can reproduce and the offspring will be any of the 3/4.

This issue isn't approached for a reason.
Besides, speciation is no problem; I don't think any scientific mind for the most part is going to deny natural selection.

I have a theory about how the tourney is gonna go though. If they do it right, Goku gets his shining moment and seals a U7 victory with at least him, Vegeta, and Frieza still in the fight. While Goku is weak from the fight, he gets knocked out by Frieza, who wants the wish, which leaves Vegeta vs Frieza alone, finally the way it was meant to be.

I thought last was meh, but the episodes before that were done pretty well. Frieza and Vegeta are done very well.

It was probably less so in context. I can pull it up if you want to see it. Plus it was more of an act of passion than anything.
