@Leslie Hall Small question, Nya's Abyss Labyrinth, where would this be relative the map? Or is it like a pocket dimension he summoned his Inner Circle to?
I actually explicitly did not the word dragon. Because if I think of dragons, I think I see more of an massive, winged, 4 legged lizard that breathes fire and that's not really the point of Skyward creature taming. The point was more that the factions who have this have some for of defense against Dirigibles.
Monster taming – Through magic or breeding, you managed to bend captured monsters their will. Be it giant spiders, wargs, big boars or any other monstrosity that roams your lands. These creatures are fast as well as extremely savage. (Light Cavalry gets an advantage)

Mythological beast taming –(Requires monster taming) Creatures of myth now let you ride them into battle. These things are more than simple monsters. Such beasts may be Erymanthian Boar, a Manticore or a Direwolf. There are far harder to train, far stronger to us in combat and will destroy any fool who stand in their way. (Heavy cavalry gets an advantage)

Skyward creature taming – (Requires Mythological beast taming) Your people managed to capture and breed a free creature of the sky. Maybe it was a gryphon, or a wyvern. It doesn’t matter. What does are the vicious claws that are now at your disposal in the skies. (You can make Aerial Interceptors and Fasts without requiring the Dirigibles trait)

The result of some brainstorming.
@Romero It's probably a little too early to ask this but you said that there would be plenty of things added to research. I was wondering if I could make a few sugggestions?
Well I could do as if most of the knowledge about my neighbores was burned and destroyed together with the king. Also, I hope I got the production & research thing right.
Alec Bredain, Sindar Bredain, Eléane Bredain, Leana Broadwalk
Province 58, Al’Gruin.

Al’Gruin has for many years now been a school of intellect and the higher studies of magic. But now, it had gained another role. That of headquarters of something Leana Broadwalk did not yet know of. Never the less, there were tents being pulled up around the castle for over a fortnight now. The Ruin King had just arrived, and he quickly marched up his ancient tower to his old office. Cobwebs were everywhere, but never the less, Alec Bredain felt happy to be once again where he belonged. It was a good place to start another chapter of New Engelica. Sindar, Eléane and Leana entered the old office.

“Sindar. You have long expected this. Your orders are simple. Head south. Whatever realm or wilderness lays there, I would want word of and with it. If you make contact, remember what I told you. Do not hesitate to demonstrate how powerful our mages are.” He told his son, with a far more grim voice that reminded Miss Broadwalk of his days as a war leader. He handed Sindar a scroll with the details of his mission. Then he turned to his daughter: “Eléane. Scout towards the east. Take a few light riders with you. Try to stay unnoticed and carry equipment without New Engelica’s emblem.” “Yes father.” Was her only response. Thus both children made towards the camp of tents set up just outside of the walls. “Wanting to die as a conqueror?” asked Miss Broadwalk. “Not a conqueror, Leana. I merely wish to die as a father who provided for his children.”

Here you go.
Hype!

Also, I'm loving the super religious new faction. But damn my mages are going to have a hard time at diplomacy I'd imagine...
@Aristo Wow...Our nations will NOT like eachother...
@ClocktowerEchos Oh god I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to steal your idea. Well, I wanted a heavy magic nation and the backstory actually sort of came from Magi: The Kingdom of Magic. But if you want, I'm willing to help out in any ways possible.
