it should be mentioned that your character should know about Light beforehand. Shes sorta a government controlled Superman, although a cartoon and a little wacky because of being said cartoon.

Also shes blowing up the complex because shes irritated that she hasn't found much of anything besides a few hostages and that she was fighting Lord Santa's ghost minion.

Point taken; but for the purposes of the story, most early 'infected', like Adam, were taken by their countries' respective governments, as, fact is, national governments were one of the few things that can keep Metas' existence secret for a prolonged period of time.

I was under the impression that the virus was man made for nefarious reasons.

Yes; Isabella could also have made a stronger strain of the virus, or a prion, but she didn't because she wanted a limited number of 'New Metahumans', as turning too many people into Metas would cause her to lose relevance.

In fact, anyone with enough power and resources can create a stronger strain of the virus, it would just lead to a Mutually Assured Destruction scenario if they did.

All right, Spoiler: Metahuman powers come from a virus; they're not inborn except in cases where the mother already carried the virus.

I always thought of meta humans as mutants. Powers could awaken at any time.

Eli was in the rangers when his meta human powers came to be.
