Current Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

My Roleplay, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, will reach its 4th year in June or July. It's been a long journey.

Despite its massive flaws, my RP, Noble Arms: The ASEAN War, is still one of the longest ongoing RPs in RPGuild - It turns 4 years old in July and the current thread itself is more than a year old.

@Letter Bee

I used to love Dornish folks myself. Something about their whole Arabic inspiration.

Then I read up on the Iron Islands and the Iron born.

Who doesn't like bad ass vikings?

Vikings got stale to me fast.

But I can see why others would like them.

Can you get this RP more players, btw?
Will this RP have a Discord Server?
My ASOIAF RP just received some interest after 7 days of neglect, so there is a slim chance I might be getting another game on my plate just when I was getting interested in this one.

Damn my lack of temperance/self-control; I'll keep you all updated later.
You'll be waiting abit then for the books to complete.

Anyway yes I'll keep a watch on the thread and see where it goes.

Most of my experience comes from GoT, and the wikis.

My favorite nation used to be Dorne, then it shifted to The Reach.
I know some of it. Read two of the books, used to trawl wikis, watched all the seasons of GoT. (Sadly)

Always had a liking for the Iron Islands. They're straight forward folk.

"What is Dead, may never Die."

I'll go look for my House Harlaw character. It was some where here on RPGuild.

To be honest with you, most of my knowledge comes from Wikis and A World of Ice and Fire (the setting/reference book). I might also buy Fire and Blood.

As for the actual books, I'm buying them when the series is complete; I do not like cliffhangers.
Highly doubt you'll have me.

But I'll put down some tentative interest here.

Could dust off my House Harlaw from some time in the past maybe.

If you know ASOIAF/GoT, I'll have you.

I will admit to finding it hard to explain complex settings to other people, by the way; that problem still exists, so I'm glad you know ASOIAF.
@Letter Bee

ok

Thanks; I presume I have to summarize the Greek War of Independence and not just jump to the revolutionary movement against Otto I?

Edit: Okay, sorry about that; that sounded lazy.
@Pagemaster

It looks good to me chief but I also get the impression from the content and structure it's still sort of work in progress. I get the sense you could probably shine a light on the internal crises of the Empire. Being perhaps the least or last touched by the Napoleonic fervor there'd be some hard arguments about the British role in Europe in the world at large or the social or political movements from within the eternal tory rule of England or English society at large.

Stop being a pussy and embrace the groundwork for any revolution. That's what the RP is going for.

Good point; now I need time and inspiration for a nation sheet.
A problem just occured, @ERode: I am fast acquiring a lot of RPs and I might need to refrain from joining more.

I'll update you on if I can't join after all.
@Pagemaster, Thanks! And I asked because Lord Byron is a British Citizen and thus under your purview (he was also nominated King of Greece IRL, although not sure if that applies to this RP).

Edit: And it seems that Lord Byron being nominated King of Greece IRL was an exaggeration which modern scholars disbelieve. Dangit.

Edit 2: I need a candidate for King who is relatively liberal yet tolerable to the establishment. Any candidates?
