Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*

Mephilus' electrical shot unleashes a powerful voltage that discharges through the water, yet it does little in halting the hydra's movement. It's in such an enraged state that it didn't seem to bother with the shock. Instead of halting it bites down on Nina, the only comrade that the knight had in competing against the others.

Just like that, she's gone.

His heart sank slightly at the fact that he'll now be a one man army, leading only his minions to their goal. A shame that the dragon was so easily defeated... she seemed to have much potential. And now, things seem to have gotten that much harder for him. He curses Hell under his breath for not having them supply another demon to join the fray, now facing with the reality that he's on his own. He'll need to be quick on his wits if he even has a chance to get to the goal...

But then the mighty beast freezes, issuing a distorting roar of agonizing pain and suffering as it suddenly explodes. Red mist, followed by chunks of flesh, guts, and scales, rain down on the entire battlefield, with some pieces splattering down on his armor. And in the middle of it, stood Nina roaring triumphantly in her victory. The Hell Knight took back what he cursed prior as he watches her exit to the next stage.

It looks like Mephilus ought to follow in pursuit, now slightly more confident in their odds of winning. But before he has the chance in advancing, Bonesword unleashes his guns on the demonic enforcer. As the knight runs to the next stage, he places his shield next to the line of fire, blocking the bullets while firing off a cluster round, as his suit's thrusters push him into the sky and to the next stage.

And little does the Hell Knight know... another scaly reinforcement has just arrived down at the Ravine.

As the archangel lands shortly after firing his beams, Rose retaliates by firing her own beam, which suddenly bursts into eight baby lasers. And they are all around him. The speed at which they are launched are still slightly faster and it appears as if Lucifus is going to get hit. He attempts to quickly erect his shielding, but even they too are running a little low and this time they aren't guaranteed to be put up in time. But out of pure instinct does Lucifus try, ready to take on the punishment that's coming towards him.

Yet fate barely saved him once again, as Saef returns the favor by having his orbs absorb the lasers. Lucifus immediately lowers his shields, trying to save up on the cooldown, nodding at his partner. Saef wants the archangel to attack, while he defends. They need to keep going or they'll be left in the dust.

"Cover me."

With that, he sets his eyes on the next stage, with Rose straight ahead as he makes a mad dash towards the next area, bashing straight into the Machina warrior as he does. As he dashes forward, he feels as if he's gotten slightly faster, or that the Nexus has reverted back to normal speed. He doesn't quite know what that was all about, but he had a hunch that Rose's lasers were the cause of his slightly slowed-down speed. And if so... he better make sure he doesn't get hit at all costs.

Tokyo Stadium --> Upper-Platform Level 3

@Pirouette

Once ducking his head underneath the canopy roof, Callus senses a low drumming sound behind him. It sounds like a winged individual, a insectoid perhaps, and a rather large one at that. While he faced away from the figure, he could sense a significant spike in ki level, which definitely signifies a nomad landing behind him. Yet he doesn't bother to turn towards it, as it didn't feel like a threat. After all, it can simply be a nomad using its flight capabilities to descend to this level, rather than using the stairs or elevator. Only after he hears the nomand's deep, distorted, feminine voice greeting him does he slowly turn around to see who she is.

The Draconian looks down to see a short, white-haired woman, who appears to be smaller than the average human being. He couldn't ignore the fact that she indeed had a pair of insect wings, along with two short antennae spurting from her head, a mask that covers her mouth and mechanical cybernetics on her right arm and by the base of the wing membranes. She too had yellow eyes, just like his own, but her pupils were more rounded than silted. Her skin looked abnormally pale, as seen with frightened or sickly people, and her clothing attire is simple yet tattered. Whoever this fairy is, she has definitely been through quite a lot. Callus looks down with a neutral look and waves nonchalantly.

"How do you do, Miss Fairy?" Callus replies back with an elderly yet firm reply, emphasizing his Chinese-esque accent.

The fairy proceeds to talk about the weather, about how the tournament may end shortly than anticipated, and how she wonders if the Draconian is walking indoors because he's afraid of drenching his attire. He bypasses the clothing remark and heads straight to the next point.

"Perhaps." he remarks quietly as he slowly continues heading to the door, "It appears Mother Nature will be cancelling today's events for the time being."

But as he reaches the arch leading indoors, Callus stops with a sigh as he looks back at the sky, studying it with curious intent. In his village back in China, his people believed that their long gone dragon ancestors acted as god-kings and goddess-queens over the elements. One in particular, known in his tongue as "Shuǐshén wáng" (or simply as "The Water God King") controlled the flow of water in rivers, lakes, and oceans, as well as determined when the rains will fall. Every April, the Draconians held a traditional ceremony in order to please the God-King. Along with performing complex dances, the sages in the village would meditate near or within a large body of water for hours before placing a large portion of their water magic into an alter, where it's ki would dissolve into the air and rise into the Heavens. It's been said that the more water-ki that's launched, the more likely will the rainy season last longer. But if no one sends water to the God-King, or if very little has been sent, or if the God-King happens to be in ill-spirits (which is often rare), droughts will occur in the region and no rain will fall for a year or more. That's why this tradition has been so important.

This tradition has been practiced in Callus' village for thousands of years and has 'claimed' to be working reliably. Even after leaving the village, does the Draconian wizard still partake in this event. In times like this, he can predict when rainfall can occur, usually within hours or even days, prior to the first drop. His predictions have been said to be more accurate than the local weather reports.

But rarely does he start feeling it within mere minutes prior, let alone not feeling it at all. Even the tone of the storm felt rather ominous. It's quite strange.

"And yet this sudden downpour has come-in unannounced." Callus continues as he looks back at the fairy, "I can often forecast a storm much earlier but only several minutes ago did I feel a sudden shift in the air... I feel like something amiss is brewing nearby."

The Draconian then proceeds to enter the doorway, using his sword as a walking cane.

"I must seek answers."

Aleks looks to his right, seeing a armored female approach him with a wave, as he replies with a simple raise of his hand. The dark-skinned woman, dawned in a suit of bright white armor and blue highlights, simply asks the location of the Asarigawa Hot Springs. Shortly before the Russian commando can reply to her question, his right eye beginning to glow a faint hue of blue as the Sight Of God quickly inspects the person's ki level. He simply wants a quick "background check" before continuing with the conversation. Much to his immediate surprise, the user was incredibly bright, signifying her ki-levels to be within the mere hundreds to thousands range. She must essentially be some sort of goddess or at least a demi-goddess of some kind. Yet what is she doing here wearing this armor?

Alas, Aleks' curiosity has to wait. He didn't quite know where the Asarigawa Hot Springs are either, as he was deployed here shortly prior to the Tournament that was taking place several blocks to the north, but his suit can help him solve this predicament.

"Let's check." he answers in a thick and gruff Russian accent, as he raises his right arm to his chest and presses on several buttons.

His arm revealed a hologram of the entire world, thanks to having permission from MAVERICK to access their personal GPS satellite, and initially reveals the two's current location. They were by the Asari Onsen Dori road, across from a recycling plant and an abandoned car dealer stop. The woman came from the north and pointed to the south, which should suggest its down the road. A soft beep can be heard as Aleks talks into it.

"Asarigawa Hot Springs." is all he said and within a short few seconds the map expands as it charts out the building's location.

It appears the woman is heading the right way.

"Here." the commando states bluntly as he points to it, "Just a few kilometers down south. If you see Shadow Classe Lodge, it's next door."

He briefly as he glances again at the dark-skinned figure, still wondering what a being like her is doing here. He couldn't help but to ask.

"Going for R&R, yes?" he asks her cautiously.

His English may need some work, such as adding some conjunctions to his sentences, but he can definitely be understood... at least to a heavy degree perhaps.

Tokyo Stadium --> Upper-Platform Level 3

Despite the loud cheering noises that flooded the stadium, Callistrophus sits motionlessly on a small bench, with his scaly feet crossed, his eyes closed, tail wrapping around his waist, and his hands placed gently upon his lap. His meditation rituals place him in a trance-like state, mitigating the sounds around him as he concentrates on the elemental ki of his surroundings. He can feel the intense energy bursting from the opposing fighters, as well as the static energy emitting from the other nearby nomads. He's able to feel the energies of nearly every individual within the stadium grounds, making him a good detector if an unwanted guest decided to ruin the Championship. The threat of an invading individual is seemingly low and Callus had not sensed any disturbances since the start of the tournament. Even if there may have been a sudden disturbance of unrecognized violence, MAVERICK units were deployed all around the stadium as the first line of defense against any ill-fated trespassers.

Yet as Callus basks in the warm rays of the sun, he suddenly feels a disturbance in the air. His calm expression dampened slightly, disappointingly perhaps, as he senses a cold chill coming in. Further more, the warm colors in his vision began to darken, as he recognizes the signs of an approaching storm.

The Draconian had sensed it merely ten minutes before it finally reached the stadium. He feels a light water droplet splash against his snout, followed by another on his horn, his eyelid, his beard until a light drizzle begins to tinkle down on him. His morning meditation didn't sense any form of precipitation raining down today. Even the weather forecasts on the local news also didn't say to expect any rainfall.

This is odd... perhaps a little too odd.

His eyelids slowly open, revealing a pair yellow eyes with slitted pupils, as Callus takes a look at the people around him. They've either begun to open their umbrellas or head for shelter, with some of the nomads deploying other uses to keep dry. The calm relaxed aura around him has tensed considerably, especially coming from the Maverick units both within and outside the stadium walls. This sudden, unexpected, change didn't feel natural at all. He attempts to briefly communicate with the ki around him, hoping to find a lead towards this rapid commotion. Yet even after a minute of searching, all he felt was the rain slowly intensifying on his scales.

"Hmm..." Callus thinks aloud nonchalantly as he rises from his meditation pose, planting both of his legs on the solid ground as he tightly grips Kurogica's handle. He heads towards the roofed portion of the platform, still glancing out at the environment around him. The dark skies ominously hovered over the stadium, almost as if its saying something. Already the Draconian senses a rush of disturbance coming from outside, along with the faint sounds of automobiles violently stopping outside. Voices can be heard as well, commanding orders and confused gasps made up for most of the noise. This only brings the question...

Could something amiss be slowly rearing its ugly head from the horizon?

Time flew fast over the last few months that Aleksandr traveled back to this age. Once a resistance fighter for the UACU fighting against the disgustingly corrupt Corporate Empire, the jet-black armored Russian now finds his home in the MAVERICK faction as one of its elite commandos. He won't call this place peaceful so-to-say, but it's definitely an improvement compared to his age. Those vicious demons he fought in his future were utterly relentless and they nearly destroyed everything he knew and loved. The UACU was destroyed, his comrades in Phoenix Squad were all dead, and now he's forced to rewrite time in this period. It's an incredibly daunting task and without any support from his allies, he's all on his lonesome. All he knows is that he must find THAT corporation and to halt its schemes of world-domination.

But even then, that's easier said than done.

He's not as invulnerable as he initially was. Aleks' armor, once designed to be completely-resistant to physical projectiles and weaker laser-fire, has weakened to a degree where it can be damaged significantly easier. It even has the marks to prove it, with a laser burn on his right breastplate, a slash mark by the placard, and several dents on his leg pieces. It wasn't much for his first few months but he knows that it'll most certainly get more battle-damaged the longer he uses it. The materials aren't cheap - let alone accessible - in this age to repair the damage. His armor was a special top-secret alloy that's hard enough to deflect bullets and lasers, and it took a rather long process to make. Unless he finds a reasonable substitute here, he'll be stuck with these marks.

And the commando mustn't forget the mission at hand. He'll need to somehow get access into that corporation and destroy anything that involves with the creation of the Saurostrains. He has no idea what this thing to eliminate is, but whatever it is, it's the key in potentially saving his world. Of course, nobody knows if this will succeed, but it's his only hope. For now however, he'll have to keep his profile low and act accordingly.

As the rain began to fall on his armor in the city of Otaru, Aleks sees several other agents heading towards the black trucks and mobile outposts situated down the street. He doesn't know much on what's going on here, even before being deployed during the debriefing, but worries have caused MAVERICK to send agents to this sector to deal with a potential threat. The threat in question is unknown to him at this point, but Aleks has a feeling he may encounter it soon. But with nothing else to do now, all he can do is guard the perimeter of the outpost and watch for any hostiles that may be lurking in the shadows...

He also happens to notice a jeep speeding towards him from his location.

His words woke up the dazed dragon. Good. At least the brute is doing something productive. After all, she's the only character the Hell Knight can rely on this battle. If she falls, well, he'll have much more work to do. As they continue lobbing blows with the massive hydra, Mephilus notices Bonesword coming into view and firing upon the monster. Looks like everyone else will be coming nearly any second now. The Hell Knight considers eliminating the tiny skeleton, but at the same time he's providing help in killing the monster. As long as he fires on the hydra and not his partner, he's going to let him be for now. Once he's dead, Bonesword might as well be next on his hit list.

He continues to fire from the monster from a safe distance, pausing only to load several new rounds. Electrical rounds should paralyze the beast upon contact with the water. Are they at a high voltage for them to succeed? Only one way to find out. And yet while slaying a beast is always a favorite for Mephilus...

At the same time perhaps he may continue onto the next area unnoticed as the others were distracted with the monster. It's rather tempting if he had to be honest...

The Archangel's blast hit true, only to dissipate as soon as they touched Titania's shields. While it was unable to penetrate to her hull, it did thankfully alter the soldier's aim and succeed in her missing Saef altogether. She's going to be a hard nut to crack. He suddenly sees Bonesword fire off his miniguns at him, forcing the archangel to move and use his blades to fire several shots at the skeleton. But before Lucifus could counter-attack against Titania, in a blink of an eye he sees two mighty lasers heading straight towards him. They were going to hit him, weren't they? Yet instinct told him to issue his shield, even if it happens to not be erected in time. He shuts his eyes tight as he prepares for impact...

But nothing seemed to happen.

Lucifus' shield is up successfully and he didn't feel like he was knocked back or feeling the impact of the lasers bouncing off his shield. But yet, he sees the lasers still in front of him, about a foot away from his shield, aimed directly at his chest. The archangel can feel the raw energy emiting from these lasers. They both felt unnatural and raw... a power he doesn't recall feeling. These bolts seem to do more than hit or stun, yet what they cause is unknown. Regardless, he refuses to put his shield down, not until the owner leaves. But the longer he keeps it up, the more energy he wastes. He can only hold this shield up for so long. The twin lasers' owner then begins to scold the archangel as if she knows everything, even mocking him by mimicking something he would say just before firing. Lucifus' simply scoffed at her response.

"I think you're confusing yourself at what you see in the movies compared to actual combat, sweetheart." he replies back, still having his guard up.

Regardless, the opponent proceeds to fire with a gesture of her finger, as the lasers hit his shield and knocked him back considerably. He recollects his senses as he faces towards the machina warrior. As he attempts to strike with his swords, Titania seemed to act faster and fires off some missiles at him. Quickly his wings forced him to dodge out of the way as he feels the explosions behind him. Yet something seemed rather off.

"Is it me...?" he thinks to himself as he circles Titania again, "Or are these projectiles moving slightly faster than usual?

The archangel knows roughly how fast missiles can be fired, yet these seemed to be fired too fast. Already some of the shots nearly managed to hit him, by mere inches as he feels their force rushing below his feet. Maybe they had some kind of coating that makes them more resistant to drag force? He didn't know, yet that's not going to stop him. He makes a sharp turn upwards, just barely evading the missiles, as he opens his wings wide and releases a volley of stellar bolts towards the opponent in an attempt to stall her.

He'll need to be on his way soon...
According to the GMs via DM, Aleksandr has been accepted!

He will be in the Connections Arc.
Callus would be in the Clouded arc.
@Lmpkio
Aleksander:
I was talking with @KaiserElectric and @Savo and we do share the concern about Alek's strong armor. We get that he is from the future and such, but we are worried that as-is he is more or less untouchable with the armor. It sounds like he is already nomad level tough, and now he has advanced power armor on top of that (Feel free to correct me, BTW). We would like it if the armor was nerfed in some way. We came up with the idea that somehow the time travel damaged it, or otherwise it isnt operating at full capacity. Maybe the more active parts of the armor cannot hold it's "battery charge" and thus the protection weakens over the course of a battle, or it simply got damaged and Aleksander isn't in a position to repair it.

That’s not a bad alternative. I can possibly add something similar to that on him.
@redbaron1234 Physical blows can still knock Aleksandr back with considerable force, but remember this guy is from the future. The armor is definitely going to be more advanced and so forth. Lasers can still pierce him at high concentrations though so...

The arrival of this new dragon-esque character puzzled the dark knight as he halted temporarily to view this new ally. She was small, but was fitted with large clunky armor, with savage animalistic qualities to kick in that dragon-look. The Hell Knight was looking at what would essentially be his rival, just like in the stories of medieval, where the knight fights off dragons to save the princess and secure the kingdom from its grasp. Yet ironically, in this situation, he is fighting alongside this character against Heaven and the Machina, although he doubts the two would be teaming up looking at what little he sees of her personality. The dragon breathes out hot dark energy beams up into the sky, which would rain down upon the opposing forces.

She may be powerful, but what about their third contestant. After all, the others had sent three to four to deal with this matter. Yet as he pauses to look out for any other of Hell's allies, no one else came to join them. It was then when he realized that he and the dragon were alone. Why they didn't make sure to send another opponent in was beyond him, unless the dragon character was capable of taking them on all by herself. Could she be one of those legendary Vassals he's been hearing about recently? After all, there were reports of another reptilian vassal rising from the depths after~

*Rumble rumble*

Before he can finish that thought, he suddenly feels the entire ground shaking beneath him. He wobbles slightly before looking at what the dragon was doing, as she suddenly takes to the skies as something erupted from underneath him.

"Shit."

Without any hesitation, Mephilies activates his armor's thrusters and jump high into the sky as a giant thorns of wood and plants bursted underneath him. He made sure to keep his shield underneath his body in the case some rogue thorns flew up at him, which none seemed to do As soon as he lands however, he notices Bonesword revving up his minigun and begins firing upon the armored Hell Knight. Mephilies raises his shield, covering his body yet again as the bullets would be blocked and reflected from his mighty shield. In response, the demon fires a cluster shot from his gunlance towards the bony skeleton, exploding into multiple fragments as they detonate near the machina unit. Whether or not it would hit, it became clear that his opponent was heading into the Ravine below. The Hell Knight nearly proceeded to follow Bonesword in pursuit, but he didn't want to be out-gunned by any other units that might be heading down below. It's possible he could face the three head on and do some major damage, but this wasn't the main objective. Speed is what he needs to concentrate on and these foes would only slow him down...

He'll probably see them again anyways.

So instead he follows to where the dragon-lady was headed, alongside several of his men, which lead them to a nearby oasis. Nina was there, seemingly relaxed by the waters, while a gigantic hydra emerged ready to eat her. Mephilies' helmet suddenly covers his entire face as he begins running parallel against the monster, all while lobbing several more cluster rounds at the rising monster. His men took position as the ranged mages and gunners began distracting the monster away from the dazed dragon lady. THe Knight then glances at where the dragon is simply standing idly like a sitting fucking duck.

"Hey!" he roars back at Nina as he lobs another round at the creature's head, "If you can you get your head out of your scaly ass and be useful, that would be much appreciated!"

Castellum's presence on the battlefield was surprising, yet quite welcoming. They now had four major units on their side, including himself, and two major armies at their command. Saef's brigade and Lucifus' Laguna legion were both forces to be reckoned with. Even as Hell's dragon lady summoned meteors down upon he and his army, his speed made sure he dodged nearly every single one of these attacks, before Chen could counter with his own attack. The archangel looked upon the chaotic battlefield briefly as soon as Chen's pillar attack conceded, flying among the perimeter as he considers heading straight to the next area alone. He glances back to see Chen and Amastu flying on a piece of rock as they descended into the ravine.

Saef on the other hand was attempting to cut-off Bonesword's descent, while also about to deal with another one of Machina's lackeys. The person in question was one Lucifus hasn't seen before, although he sees that she wields a heavy assortment of power at her disposal. He wasn't going to have the brigade general be left behind this early in battle. So as Titania was concentrating towards the young captain, the archangel was able to sneak behind her and fires his optic stellar beams from his eyes. His target was not the character herself, but rather her energy cannons. One well planted shot should be able to disable them...

The Saurian vassal wasn't at all amused by the initial perfume response Hoho cooked up, glaring as the alchemist fiddled with her black hair. The sweetly smell was a little too strong and it burned the inside of her nostrils. Her nose exhales a faint blue mist, neutralizing the unwanted scent as she plants it down on the bed at a considerable distance away. However, Hoho seemed willing to help her retrace her scent, offering a ride into the Oblivion Dungeon to trace it back, although she'd need help from others to get her there. And once there, she's on her own with little to no help available...

But that's not where she'll be going to...

"No." she replies with a light hiss, "That's not where I want to go. The scent wasn't in the dungeon. I entered it only for I smelled conflict within..."

She pauses only to remember that one certain conflict from within while looking down at the floor.

"Pfft... only to run into Iona-bitch and Helena-whore who both wanted me to join one of their sides. Obviously I refused, but they didn't listen. Don't get me started with Iona's bitch-ass... I'll beat her to death the next time I lay eyes on her."

She pauses again before looking back at Hoho.

"I need to head back to that foundry." she continues bluntly, "That's where I last smelled the scent. It was gone when I got there, but maybe the scent still remains... or maybe I can find physical clues. If I can smell it again, I'll at least figure out its origins."
@Lmpkio Just two nitpicks; magnet boots doesn't really fit the formula for a super move since it's not an attack or an obvious utility move, so it could probably be put into fighting style, and as much as I like the gorey finisher you have, I would like to tell you that against another nomad-calibre fighter, that move would probably not be as graphic as it is written (though the damage would still be the same).

(Just for the rest to see.

1. Magnet Boots are not in the super moves category.

2. Wrath of Bear wont be as bloody as intended - mostly just internal bleeding and organ crushing. Graphic yes, but nothing too gruesome or explicit. Deaths may happen off screen if anything.
