Aqua Regia

@Ryonara - Responding to Hibiki and advising to prepare for battle.
@Rune_Alchemist - Capturing and releasing Gwynn.
@TheWindel - Stuffing the Treasure back in the Chest.
@KoL - Being Stuffed with the Treasure.

"I will surrender under the assumption I will be treated with the respect a warrior of my standing is due."

Regia watched the Valkyrie could through a series of internal decisions, Gwynn's face an open book to the Machina's facial pattern recognition software. It was evident her first gut reaction was that of disgust and certain dismissal of the very idea of surrendering to an enemy, an understandable reaction even for the emotionally subdued Machina. What followed was a series of rapid, miniscule twitching of facial muscles that would be recorded as part of an ever expanding file kept on the Valkyrie, which lead Regia to believe that Gwynn would do as she had said for the moment.

As the unharmed disciplinary Machina flanked Gwynn on either side, Regia released her arm and lowered the sword so they could hold the Valkyrie in place while Regia contemplated their next move. In this intervening period, the Machina Shizuka approaching once more while her sister and the other captive were elsewhere.

"I have troubling news, Arctic Sorcerers. My drones have picked up a powerful demonic reading near by. Only a few, but each quite powerful. They must have used our traitors to figure out where the Queen's Treasure was at. What should we do?"

"Acknowledged, unit Shizuka. This is a troublesome report even with our added reinforcements." Aqua Regia turned to the entrance way, seeing the detained units that were a mix of GRNTs and the a half a dozen more of the Bondage and Discipline division with their Mecha Cats in toe. Following behind them would be Hibiki, Bastion, and a bound Diana, likely finding it prudent to not wait in the hallway for the demons. "Units Shizuka, Hibiki. We shall be defending the Queen's Treasure here in an established position. You will store the Treasure back in her container, and drop the Dragon as well. The risk of another plasma discharge is not acceptable at this juncture. All units, prepare to repel imminent attack. Leave no entrance uncovered, reports indicate vermin and carrion are being utilized by the Demons."

The orders had been given, and with them the room exploded into a flurry of activity from the subordinate troops as they rearranged the cargo hold into the ideal fighting position. Crates of various sizes, from waist high cubes to reinforced cargo containers that were stacked to provide multiple levels for the GRNTs to fire from in an overwhelming wave of bullets and the occasional directed energy weapon that would prove an adequate threat to even a cadre of demons.

The first was organized as a three crate high wall, with a gap built in between them one container width in length. Behind the walls the Bondage and Discipline were ready to engage in melee and to release their cats to pounce and bind their enemies. The second wall was only slighter longer than the gap, meant mainly to block line of sight to the Treasure box that would once again be storing Bastion as well as an added Dragon. Just as the first this one was three containers tall, but the containers were turned so that the doors faced the cargo hold entrance to provide a thicker surface to withstand greater attacks that may otherwise harm the treasure box. Machina efficiency, a connected system to distribute tasks and orders as required, and their mechanized bodies made this transition from storage to reasonably defensible position possible, and Regia could allow herself a smile of pride at their work.

Regia was going to take her position between the forward walls, the tip of the spear to break the demon advance, when she noticed the metaphorical nail that had yet to be hammered down. The Arctic Sorceress approached and picked up the Valkyries fallen sword, ushering the two units holding her to re-enter the formation with a casual wave of the blade. Valkyrie, you have surrendered under the pretense we treat you as a warrior and worthy of the respect of your rank. Demons will be upon this position momentarily, and if we fail here then I will not be able to uphold this agreement nor protect my Queen's Treasure. In this instance it is prudent I arm and return you to the battlefield to perform your duty. Eliminate the Demons, and the Machina will not soon forget the honor of the Valkyrie Gwynn.

The Holy sword was planted into the ground between them, right before the Valkyrie's off hand as her sword hand had likely been crippled by the injector freezing it with a dose of Liquid Nitrogen. That it hadn't frozen solid and shattered from the barest contact was a courtesy from a smaller than average dosage being applied. Regia unslung her rifle from the mag lock and took her position at the tip of spear, a concerto of charge bars being yanked raising in salute to their effort. Hopefully Shizuka and Hibiki found a position that suited their tastes, though Regia thought the one with the holy sword would try and move towards the front. A temporary alliance of convenience had been struck, and if Gwynn wished to uphold her honor and kill demons in the process, then Regia hoped she'd wait till after the demons were dead before engaging in duplicity of some sort.

Silana miiight be a a lot little jealous, yes. Although, its not really good to make her act on that jealousy. Silana will just straight up kill or maim anything that she doesn't like/stands in her way.

So yeah. She might just attempt to make Suparna her undead slave.

Good luck reanimating each maggot one by one before Suparna and Chirada can crush her bones.
@Ryonara@Rune_Alchemist

Will get out a post for Regia tonight. Suparna can wait till later.
@LokiLeo789
It's a mix of Nuclear and Plasma based power.

@Rune_Alchemist

Thank you for the consideration. In regards to Diana's treachery, well it has to do with being forced to serve Heaven as part of her backstory. Her foundation was never of extreme loyalty to Heaven, and had only remained out of some loyalty to the long dead Saint that forced her into service. Basically the Sisters are the first to show her any compassion, and Bastion is an innocent soul that she wants to safeguard at any cost.

Is it a bit...sudden, with her defection? Probably. But I think KoL was playing this more in the interest of transitioning her to the Machina all along.

Though if Gywnn wants to slay the traitor then she can try her hand.
And let's not forget Suspension of Disbelief should exist to some degree here for the sake of cohesion. Angels, Demons, and Machina are re-enacting the opening of New Hope. Latitude can be afforded if we can all enjoy ourselves, all right?

I'm gonna be perfectly honest, Windel, KoL.

I'm not liking that Diana is basically a Benedict Arnold. Its seems like she's actively trying to sabotage the angels victory here, which begs the question as to why the angels are using her anyways. As in, she sort of wants the machina to win from what you've been saying. Which is...kinda really gonna make Gwynn probably actually cut off her head next time they meet if she does.

...eh, whatevs. Ignore me.

Well she's going to have a perfect opportunity to do so once Fran and her Lolita's show up.
@Ryonara
Assuming Gywnn is honorable and Diana cares enough for Bastion's safety not to betray the Machina before it's safe to escape :3

I'm kinda on the fence about making a new character, and introducing new characters. At this point, in this battle, I think adding more would extend it. Any new characters should be introduced in the next battle. That way, this battle can actually end in a timely manner, without the sudden appearance of a new challenger. I cant choose between man...or demon. I have good ideas for both actually.

No more characters are being added into this battle, and the system isn't decided yet, but we may 'Patch' it in after this battle to make the next one run smoother.

By allowing an expanded and changeable roster, we are saying you can make characters for every faction and not be limited to just two. And we may reserve the right to reject some characters in certain battles for faction balancing, IE we don't 11 demons fighting 3 Machin and 1 Angel. This will likely be considered on a case by case basis, and consider the factors behind the individual scenario (Like if Azazel were to do as discussed in the PM, hint hint)
@TheWindel@Lonewolf685@KoL

I was wondering if it's okay if I make some details about the Eliticor's brig. I figured they would have a facility where they could keep angels and demons prisoners and limit their powers. This way Hibiki would have a place she can put Diana and talk to her. I'd also imagine that the brig is heavily fortified with a lot of defenders. Hibiki and Shizuka should be able to get there quickly since they know the lay out of the fortress, but if you want to intercept the two in transit I'm okay with that too.

Though if you do take Diana and Co. into the Brig, they won't be able to fight the demons when they arrive, the Machina will be outnumbered, and things go pear shaped real quick. Still your call, though it leaves the Mexican standoff to Gwynn and Regia versus four Demons.
Hmm...that's not a bad idea, actually. Would also mean that the players didn't know which characters the others were deploying in the battle either, which means a bit of a surprise for everyone.

So yeah, cool. I'ma go make a slime girl CS now. Because I can, and they are squishy and soft and adorable and huggable.

We'll have everyone PM their character selections so no one can get an edge by being the last and submitting characters tailored to beat the rest.
